SPACE PLAYERZ ONLY
if you strongly consider multiple, maybe just go for the one u feel aligned with currently/most often, which one you wanna represent in a poll like this, whichever one has the most personally compelling role/narrative, whatever works for U. ik some people use classpecting very fluidly and it's a really subjective thing.
also, i actively encourage discussion in the replies of what your class (or classes) mean to you. let's play in our space ^_^.
excluding master classes cus i don't have enough space (lol). sorry

Any Morgan Headcanons ? Angst or not 👀
Morgan’s eyes and cheeks are sunken in, he has dark circles that make him look a few years older than he is.
When he sees a vision, he’ll sense it before it comes - it’s a shock followed by a hazy feeling that is trying to pull him out of consciousness, or more accurately, out of this reality and into a passive state. He’s used to it now, so he’ll find a seat somewhere nearby and let it pass over him. His eyes would glow and change colour a little, but he knows how to keep it inconspicuous.
There, he’ll see the multitude of possibilities the world offers in the future - both positive and negative. He’s there to witness, not act as an agent of change in that moment. He’s the audience watching a movie, the actors unaware that he’s there.
He barely gets any sleep.
But that’s all he’s ever known at this point. There’s nothing he doesn’t know. And somewhere along the line his life became mundane and grey. He’s seen this movie before and already knows the ending.
One look at him and you know he’s been through and seen a lot.
Yet somehow, despite everything, he graces a warm smile.
As a Seer, it’s not uncommon to fall into the grasps of despair and never climb out.
But for Morgan, he felt a sense of purpose when his powers first manifested. That was the only thing giving him a sense of drive everyday.
After many years of working with the department and utilising his powers, he felt the ground shift and something changed.
Now Morgan is never surprised - he knows what’s happening all the time.
But then he met Seer Obscura - someone just like him. Hidden from the vision.
And he’s never been more shocked. It’s the first time that he’s felt this - goosebumps travelling up his skin and that little jolt of energy in the brain when it has to rapidly adjust to something new and unprecedented.
They were younger, not by too much, and seemed shaken by what they’ve seen. He knows that feeling, and recognises the look in their eyes when they explain what had happened. But there was something new in them - a spark. Curiosity? Hope? Determination? He wasn’t sure.
From that moment on, they became his purpose. He would help them adapt and learn to utilise their sight for good.
“Do your ears ring a little too? When you… see it?”
“Every time.”
“Oh.”
Morgan taught them everything he knew - how to keep it inconspicuous when out in public, how to smoothly bring themself back and readjust to reality, and how to ground themselves after certain visions.
It was an odd feeling seeing them go through the same process that he did when he decided to fully embrace the sight. Visions that a Seer Obscura sees always wipes the Seer themself from existence. They’re hidden. Never acknowledged. But for the first time he saw himself - in them. Like looking at your own reflection for the first time.
He’s not alone anymore.
They’re not alone anymore.
For the first time, he allowed himself to indulge in what other people would deem as everyday pleasures. In their spare time, when Obscura was restless from what they saw and couldn’t sleep, they’d play little games.
It was midnight, and the two of them were huddled around the fireplace.
“Want to play scissors paper rock?” Morgan had suggested. Obscura nodded, unsure of what he was thinking.
They both knew the premise of the game - make a different hand sign than the other person so that yours will win over theirs. It’s simple and fun, but only if you don’t know what the other person will do.
So they tried.
“Scissors… paper… rock!”
Morgan had scissors. Obscura put out paper.
He had won. And he had no idea that would happen.
And that was exhilarating.
So this is why people like to play games, he thinks.
He felt himself brighten up, and the weight on his shoulders became lighter. A wave of excitement took over the both of them. He heard them giggle and saw a smile on their face too. They felt it. The thrill of the unknown.
They spent the rest of the night playing little hand and card games, laughing and talking as they tried to guess what the other was thinking.
Morgan felt like he was a child again, before his powers manifested. He was filled with a sense of curiosity.
Something in him healed.
And one look at Obscura tells him that they felt it too.
Thanks for your brainstorming ideas~! :D @brainrotcharacters

what wouldve happened if the Saders (especially Marialena) didn't foretell the prophecy? What wouldve happened if Rafal didn't leave?
This has been in my ask box for months. I hope anon is still around if they still wanted the answer.
@fourleafclovxr Feel free to ignore this, but if you're interested, do you have any thoughts about this question—since it deals with seers and Saders?
If the neither brother had knowledge of the prophecy then there's a slight chance it may not have happened in a self-fulfilling way with their attempts to prevent it from coming true only furthering its completion. They might've been able to maintain peace.
Yet, even if the prophecy were not told, well, their world is still governed by fate, and considering how much of an inescapable grip that predestination has over everyone's lives, how fates that can't be circumvented—I'm not sure if the innate genre they lived in could have changed from "tragedy."
Even if fates can be subverted by being fulfilled in unconventional ways (as any room for interpretation could be exploited by participants) I don't see how fratricide and there being just One left standing(?) could contain some kind of exceptional clause.
Regardless, this possibility would mean that some sort of "user-friendly" loopholes could exist in their world, like how Chaddick's blood on the handkerchief allowed Rhian II to pull Excalibur when he otherwise wouldn't have been able to.
That instance of cheating is the best example I have at the moment. The rightful son didn't pull the sword, but the event itself, of the sword being pulled, still was able to happen given situational factors. The rightful heir's blood still came into contact with the sword, the sword was pulled (by someone), and the "right" candidate became king by the end. What happened between seminal events may not have mattered in the grand scheme of things.
Thus, prophecies may well work in a top-down way, only going as small-scale as they need to, to ensure outcomes.
So, from this, we could take away that the endings may be predetermined, but that the path to such endings could be open to interference—only to the degree that the ending wouldn't change as the result of any meddling, even if unanticipated third parties involve themselves.
The parties not affected by the prophecy, outside its bounds, could plausibly do whatever they wanted, and have free will (ostensibly, everyone has free will though), but I could venture to say that the consequences of said, seemingly free actions could be manipulated by the hand of fate, to produce those certain outcomes.
Basically, in the Woods, no matter what you try, since you at least have the freedom to try, you won't change a thing with your actions. All those actions would still snowball to produce the exact outcome that's set to happen. (And, if this were true, trying to change your fate would be futile. E.g., think of how Sophie and Agatha were locked into their true natures. They couldn't switch sides.)
(Keep in mind that this post just represents my view of things. We don't necessarily have canon confirmation of anything I'm speculating about.)
Applied to the prequels, if Midas' or the Pan's presences/roles were never predetermined, then they just helped the inevitable end along. If neither of them had been there, perhaps the prophecy still could have reached the same ending by other equally-as-effective means. (Different potential plot(s), one outcome.)
We could also argue that Adela's wording was vague enough to exploit.
So, the same thing could apply to the twins: the prophecy of the One and Adela's betrayal, war, death could happen, and lead to the same outcomes, but the specifics could unfold differently. Or, the events could all happen in the same way but hold different meaning/implications for the future (no 200 year curse despite fratricide or death of another form for Rafal?). Or, none of the events could happen in the same way, but the final ending would be fixed, like I proposed before. I guess we don't really know how malleable or interpretable prophecies or visions are.
And seeing that it's Marialena, I wouldn't put it past her to use red-herrings or mislead, even without saying a word of prophecy. Lying, other methods, or other dialogue/persuasion could produce the same results.
It's hard to separate out the cause and effect to me. We should ask: did (early) knowledge of the prophecy affect how it played out? Or was it set in stone? Or was it inevitable that Rafal's particular combination of character traits (the extorting, the threats, etc.) and the situation (in Monrovia) would have led him to finding out about the prophecy and that that very moment was also a part of the prophecy in action, happening or beginning?
Second, if Rafal hadn't left, I think the characterization that would hold true was the bit of internal monologue we saw in Fall, that he intentionally cedes some minor(?) arguments to keep the peace with Rhian.
Rhian might not even realize anything were wrong or that Rafal were (probably) hurt by his side being devalued.
I would suspect if Rhian were aware, not much would change. Rhian is prone to burying conflict and truth after all. But, I couldn't see him dwelling on the conflict Rafal lay to rest, unless he had good reason to, or lasting guilt/shame over it.
Rafal on the other hand holds grudges, and while we know he isn't the Evil brother now, he has Evil tendencies, of course, so he could easily let his resentment accumulate and fester inside until he found it in himself to do something: either leave, like he did, or perhaps, display passive aggression?
Outright anger against his brother would not be productive, but if his resentment became that severe, he could potentially lash out, and Rhian would see Rafal's "unprovoked" response as coming out of nowhere. Then, Rhian could accuse him of being irrationally antagonistic, like a villain without motive, or Evil that "always" (often, as of late) loses and that has to deprive Good of an ending to gain one for itself, as we would see the beginning hints of Evil's losing streak no matter what.
By that point, Rafal might either drop the issue, but secretly continue to hold the grudge for the rest of time, a reasonably moderate and functional if not flawless happy ending for the both of them. (Would it last? I'm doubtful.)
Or, Rafal could argue back, setting off the prophecy, even if it had a delayed start this time since I suspect any major enough argument could have set the brothers down the wrong path, no matter what the argument was about, Aladdin or someone/something else, if their bond had weakened over the decades, like it might've been implied to have done in canon.

Baby Obi-Wan once stared so hard into the Force that he was never the same. Ever since he joined the creche the Masters knew there was something... off about the little one. They weren't quite sure what to think of the littlest of the younglings. He always seemed to know things he shouldn't and offered words that often intimidated padawans, knights, and even gained concerned expressions from seasoned masters.
The guards in the temple were less amused when he learned to properly shield himself. Gifted in the art of shielding, Obi-Wan tended to wander from his creche. Normally, a wandering youngling wouldn't be a problem. Where one youngling lingered, a sentinel was hiding in the shadows not too far away. Obi-Wan Kenobi, however, finds the right moment to slip away.
When questioned what he is doing so far from his creche, Obi-Wan always answers, "Force says so."
Qui-Gon keeps stumbling upon a small ginger boy when he finds himself alone. The first time was a memorable experience. It is, after all, the first time Qui-Gon met his future apprentice.
"What are you doing?" And the voice makes Qui-Gon pause in his walk. A youngling is staring at him from behind a pillar.
"Thinking," he answers honestly. The boy, probably no older than four or five, steps out and walks up to him, arms held out in demand to be picked up. Qui-Gon obliges and settles him on his hip, changing his destination to the creches. "Why aren't you with your creche?"
"The masters say I should listen to the Force. The Force says I should be here. With you."
Qui-Gon's lips quirk upward. "Is that so, little one? What else does it tell you?"
The youngling tilts his head, blue eyes shining. Qui-Gon feels like he isn't being seen despite the boy's eyes clearly on him. "Nothing you should know yet," the boy says.
Qui-Gon doesn't ask any more questions, too stumped to know what to ask the boy. The boy of course takes Qui-Gon's silence as his cue to talk. He offers his name as Obi-Wan Kenobi and tells him all about his friend Quinlan who sees things when he touches stuff and- "He doesn't see stuff when he holds my hand because my shields are good. Did you know the guards don't like it when I leave? Guard Feemor says I shield too hard."
And doesn't that take Qui-Gon by surprise. "Is that so?" Temple guards wore masks to protect their identities. Qui-Gon wasn't aware his former padawan took rotations as a guard.
Obi-Wan replies easily, "He doesn't know I know."
Qui-Gon quickly returns the youngling to his creche. The second escape and return allows Obi to decide he likes this master. It's the seventh escapade from their first meeting that the guards and creche masters and even passing jedi learn that when Obi-Wan goes missing he's with Qui-Gon.

in your most recent tyson post, you said something about leo being distinctly autistic-coded and I was wondering if you could elaborate on that? it sounds really interesting (sorry if you've already posted something on this, I couldn't find anything though)
Of course! I do have a specific tag for talking about Leo's autistic-coding/traits - [here], and [one for Nico as well].
The main aspects with Leo being autistic-coded actually have a lot to do with Nico being autistic-coded, because it's the comparisons between the two that most clearly indicate Leo is autistic-coded rather than it just being his ADHD or etc.
So with Nico being autistic-coded, it's very clear in the Titan's Curse that he's intended to be autistic. First, the first series has a repeating pattern of secondary characters being very distinctly neurodivergent-coded in different ways (Annabeth's adhd/dyslexia, Tyson's down syndrome-coding, Nico's autism-coding). With Nico's introduction, he's pretty stereotypically autistic and we're given a lot of descriptors about him that are notably not attributed to him being ADHD, like it would be for other demigod characters. He doesn't register social cues such as people getting annoyed at him, he's asking/making inappropriate or impolite questions/comments, he gets particularly upset about change (such as Bianca joining the Hunt) and generally gets emotional, and one of his most notable traits he's introduced with is the fact that he has a special interest (MythoMagic) - and we're shown that this special interest particularly colors how Nico navigates the world. While ADHD has hyperfixations, we don't really get much acknowledgement of hyperfixations with demigods usually - Annabeth gets a little, but most others don't and it's not nearly as focused-in on as Nico's is.
Then as the series continues we see these traits stick with him and him start to show or voice more traits that similarly indicate he's autistic: He regularly mentions how he doesn't understand living people and prefers the company of the dead (social issues). He has more notable stims than other demigods (twisting his ring, fiddling with bones, etc). He's indicated to have strong sensory preferences (usually wearing mostly black/aversion to bright colors, usually wearing layers/his coat, multiple times he's described as wearing loose/baggy clothing or clothes too big for him). He has specific comfort items (his ring, likely his jacket(s) as well). We later get even more information about his special interests (Mythomagic/mythology/history and an older interest in pirates - the latter he specifically notes likely heavily influenced his feelings towards Percy). He struggles with emotions and facial expressions and tone. He struggles particularly with ostracism and feeling like he doesn't fit in and has something distinctly different about him from the people around him (who notably, all have ADHD, which indicates it isn't the ADHD that's making him feel that way), and other characters regularly describe him as being off-putting because of his strange behaviors - again, different from specific ADHD traits they recognize. And that last point is kind of notable because we have Hazel and Bianca for comparison - we know people are off-put by both Nico and Hazel because of being children of Hades/Pluto and their powers/aura, but other characters get past that general feeling of discomfort way faster with Hazel. And even after characters get past the death stuff with Nico, there's a second thing that they aren't moving past that isn't a factor with Hazel (Nico's autism).
So that brings us to Leo - Leo is paralleled to Nico a lot. And there's some very specific traits about him that we know are autistic-coding because of how they're used with Nico: He similarly struggles with social cues/etc, and in a very similar parallel to Nico describes how he prefers the company of machines to people because machines make more sense to him. He has similar types of clothing/sensory preferences (again some stuff with layers but also - pockets! He likes having pockets and things to put stuff in! He's even introduced as having a jacket with lots of pockets), and he has a distinct special interest (machinery) that we specifically know heavily influences how he views and navigates the world (constantly comparing things to machinery, describing things with machinery metaphors/terminology, etc etc). He even describes his entire general worldview to Hazel and it's a machine metaphor. He also similarly struggles with ostracization like Nico does, the only difference being that Leo specifically puts on a persona to compensate for areas he knows he's lacking in and very explicitly describes it as a means to make people like him, because without it he normally struggles to fit in (He's masking!). We also see notes of characters describing that similar discomfort with Leo's behaviors that they do with Nico, except without the aura of death this time. And when we're in Leo's POVs we see a very stark difference between his masking and his actual personality/behaviors such as his internal dialogues or how he behaves when he's alone. Also, like Nico, he stims more than other demigods, though for Leo it's more attributed to his ADHD. Leo also, more often than most, similarly struggles with tone and reading the room, such as making misplaced jokes/comments or etc.
But yeah! It's really interesting. Also it's just a fun thing that ADHD/dyslexia and autism have comorbidity, so it makes sense that we see demigods who are also autistic. It's also really fun to look at how other characters are coded in the series, what coding looks like in the riordanverse specifically (usually it's tied into the mythological stuff - like Chiron being in a wheelchair but he's actually a centaur, Grover being introduced as having a muscular disease but he's actually a satyr, demigods having adhd/dyslexia, Tyson being coded as having down syndrome but he's a cyclops, etc etc - it's a lot of specific metaphor stuff that I've talked about a bit before), and to look at how characters are compared to one another.
#pjo#riordanverse#leo valdez#nico di angelo#autistic nico#autistic leo#autism#analysis#Anonymous#ask#long post //#woof sorry that got long#im very passionate about this topic#re: characters being paralleled#Ms. ''Constantly Neutral - No Emotions'' Reyna looking at Nico stimming in the exact same way she does (twisting ring)#and internally going ''We have a lot in common. I don't know how I feel about that.'' is one of my favorites.#like. reyna. ma'am. you might be autistic. good luck with that.#with the pattern of coding in the first series i do suspect Rachel has some coding as well but i haven't been able to pinpoint what it is#I think it may be the whole seer thing and the fact that she could see the future#even before becoming the oracle/despite being a mortal rather than a demigod (who just get rare prophetic dreams normally)#and in BoTL her entire thing is that she's able to see things that no one else can and that's how they navigate the maze#particularly also with how the labyrinth is treated/how it affects people within it (see: Chris)#and how the only other seer in the first series - May - is characterized and her coding compared to Rachel's#also something something the seer traits become more prominent once Rachel meets Percy#something something metaphor about only being able to recognize neurodivergency traits once you're familiar with them#so Rachel meets Percy = introduction to the community > Rachel recognizes her own traits/symptoms > gets a support system (oracle)

Does the seer/tounge also have a halv because when he was shown, he had like a gazillion halv's perching on his antlers?
(Seer/Tongue is they/them because we don't know their gender.)
Tumblr media
I don't think we need to know about their halv, but all those birds on their antlers are halves belonging to others, not even just Stonekrovns' but Grasslanders' too. They gravitate towards Skypeak and just stop by to give gossip. They're what Seer experiences the world through, bringing them knowledge and whispers from the land and sky alike.

Azriel figured out that Elain is a seer, but you know what else he did with that?
Nothing.
Absolutely fucking nothing.
He didn't offer to find Vassa, even though he would know more about her whereabouts and her connections than Lucien.
No, wait, he did do something. He deterred Mor from going because of how dangerous it was.
But Lucien didn't.
Lucien actually stepped up and insisted that he goes. Insisted that he'll find her and hopefully bring back an army.
And he did.
He also brought back an army that Azriel couldn't find. He brought Drakon and Miryam with them on the day of the battle.
I don't give a shit if Azriel named her power when she has Lucien who followed through with her vision and succeeded.
And when Elain said that she needed to get reacquainted with her powers, Azriel again said and did nothing. Guess that's in line with all of his current plans with her. At least he's consistent.

hello!! I absolutely adore your blog and i admire your interpretations and perspectives and theories overall about harry j potter and the wizarding world in general so much!!! seriously, thank you very much for your service <3 and also, if possible, i would love to read about your thoughts or what do we canonically know about seers and the ability of seeing/creating prophecies in the hp universe, like, i am SO fascinated by it but apparently we know so little..
Anonymous asked:
hello! what do we know about seers/prophecies within the wizarding world?
Thank you so much 💖
So, I talked about prophecy and fate a bit here already and how they seem to work in the HP universe. And about seers, specifically, I was actually thinking about for a while, since I'm trying to figure out some stuff about hereditary magic such as Parseltongue, Metamorphmagi, and yes, seers. Because in canon seers are stated to be a hereditary gift like being a Parselmouth:
Tonks was very interested in Harry’s vision of the attack on Mr. Weasley, something he was not remotely interested in discussing. “There isn’t any Seer blood in your family, is there?” she inquired curiously, as they sat side by side on a train rattling toward the heart of the city. “No,” said Harry, thinking of Professor Trelawney and feeling insulted.
(OotP, Ch22)
I had gone there to see an applicant for the post of Divination teacher, though it was against my inclination to allow the subject of Divination to continue at all. The applicant, however, was the great-great-granddaughter of a very famous, very gifted Seer, and I thought it common politeness to meet her. I was disappointed. It seemed to me that she had not a trace of the gift herself.
(OotP, Ch37)
Being a seer is a hereditary gift, that according to Trelawney, you either have or you don't:
Professor Trelawney delicately rearranged her shawl and continued, “So you have chosen to study Divination, the most difficult of all magical arts. I must warn you at the outset that if you do not have the Sight, there is very little I will be able to teach you. Books can take you only so far in this field. ...”
(PoA, Ch6)
And we know what Centaurs do is a whole different thing that has little to nothing to do with wizard teachings:
“I know that you have learned the names of the planets and their moons in Astronomy,” said Firenze’s calm voice, “and that you have mapped the stars’ progress through the heavens. Centaurs have unraveled the mysteries of these movements over centuries. Our findings teach us that the future may be glimpsed in the sky above us. . . .” “Professor Trelawney did Astrology with us!” said Parvati excitedly [...] “That,” said Firenze calmly, “is human nonsense.” Parvati’s hand fell limply to her side. “Trivial hurts, tiny human accidents,” said Firenze, as his hooves thudded over the mossy floor. “These are of no more significance than the scurryings of ants to the wide universe, and are unaffected by planetary movements.”
(OotP, Ch27)
Most of what Trelawney does actually has nothing to do with her abilities as a seer. Her fortune-telling and astrology, which Firenze refers to, is not what being a seer is. These are cheap attempts to imitate what a seer can do (like Inferi are a cheap attempt at necromancy). These are methods for wizards/witches who don't have any seer blood or sight to try and glimpse the future. But it doesn't seem to really work. Prophecies, as seen in the DoM, seem to be the only wizard fortune-telling that is actually reliable.
Trelawney seems to be one of the worst seers around, not just because of her cheap tricks, but because of her continuously contradicting herself and believing (or at least, saying) a room's vibrations can help with being a seer:
“You all right?” he [Ron] said. “Of course he isn’t!” said Professor Trelawney, looking thoroughly excited. Her great eyes loomed over Harry, gazing at him. “What was it, Potter? A premonition? An apparition? What did you see?” “Nothing,” Harry lied. He sat up. He could feel himself shaking. He couldn’t stop himself from looking around, into the shadows behind him; Voldemort’s voice had sounded so close. . . . “You were clutching your scar!” said Professor Trelawney. “You were rolling on the floor, clutching your scar! Come now, Potter, I have experience in these matters!” Harry looked up at her. “I need to go to the hospital wing, I think,” he said. “Bad headache.” “My dear, you were undoubtedly stimulated by the extraordinary clairvoyant vibrations of my room!” said Professor Trelawney “If you leave now, you may lose the opportunity to see further than you have ever —”
(GoF, Ch29)
That doesn't make sense from what we see of magic in HP. That seems to be bullshit Trelawney came up with to explain what happened to Harry in a way that suits her.
I saw theories in the past about how Trelawney is actually always correct in her random observations, but I call bull. She's right because she says generic things that can be interpreted in a multitude of ways or says things she knows would be true. Anything she says outside a direct prophecy is not a more accurate prediction of the future than the average muggle could come up with using the glorious ability called "common sense":
“I see,” said Professor McGonagall, fixing Harry with her beady eyes. “Then you should know, Potter, that Sibyll Trelawney has predicted the death of one student a year since she arrived at this school. None of them has died yet. Seeing death omens is her favorite way of greeting a new class. If it were not for the fact that I never speak ill of my colleagues — ”
(PoA, Ch6)
“Ooooo!” said Lavender suddenly, making everyone start. “Oooooo, Professor Trelawney, I’ve just remembered! You saw her leaving, didn’t you? Didn’t you, Professor? ‘Around Easter, one of our number will leave us forever'. You said it ages ago, Professor!” Professor Trelawney gave her a dewy smile.
(PoA, Ch15)
Trelawney is a charlatan who is not even aware of the few true prophecies she actually makes:
“But you just said it! You said the Dark Lord — ” “I think you must have dozed off too, dear!” said Professor Trelawney. “I would certainly not presume to predict anything quite as far-fetched as that,”
(PoA, Ch16)
So, I actually think she isn't a typical seer. I think, a talented seer, who is actually good at it, will be aware of their own prophecies, though, I don't believe they will be able to control them or when they come. It just seems like something they won't be able to do because of how fate seems to work.
In that post, I linked earlier about prophecies I mentioned how time and prophecy are weird in HP. It seems that not all the prophecies in the DoM are fulfilled. That sometimes a prophecy doesn't have to happen at a given time. I think prophecies are often vague because they don't have to be about a specific person/time.
Like, I saw a theory once that the centaurs were mad Firenze intervened between a fated meeting of Harry in Voldemort in the woods because they foresaw the meeting when Harry died in Deathly Hallows and were just off by a few years. And how Firenze talks about how centaurs predict the future supports that. They see big vague events. They can tell some specific details, but they're inaccurate and vague.
I think some seer prophecies are similar to these of centaurs, but sometimes they are more specific than that. Seers' prophecies, as I mentioned in the former post, can be different. Trelawney's prophecy at the end of PoA is very specific and happens perfectly:
The Dark Lord lies alone and friendless, abandoned by his followers. His servant has been chained these twelve years. Tonight, before midnight . . . the servant will break free and set out to rejoin his master. The Dark Lord will rise again with his servant’s aid, greater and more terrible than ever he was. Tonight . . . before midnight . . . the servant . . . will set out . . . to rejoin . . . his master. . . .
(PoA, Ch16)
Sure, technically it could've been another Death Eater, but she gives a very specific time-frame. She made the prophecy the moment the event became set in stone. When Sirius and Crookshanks made their plan and Remus was set to forget his potion. Because that's who they are as people and the situation they came to at that moment would always end the same way because that's who they are. So she made the prophecy because the situation became unavoidable at that moment.
Basically, seers can only make a prophecy about an event that will happen a certain way (like in PoA) or about vague far in the future events (like Trelawney's first prophecy) that are more like the centaur's prophecies. Ones that may happen and may remain lit in the Hall of Prophecies for centuries until the stars align again.
At least, these are my thoughts about all of this.
