First vs Last Lines: Rise/Fall Characters

Rafal:

First Line: "What happened to the last School Master?'

Last Line: "You can't what?"

Rhian:

First : "What happened to the last School Master?"

Last (from TLEA): "Two."

Midas:

First: "Who are you?"

Last: "Rafal."

Marialena:

First: "Who's next?"

Last: "It's not a he, it's a she."

James Hook:

First: "That's bad form, you can't call him the winner."

Last: "Looks like you've already failed your test, School Master."

Aladdin:

First: "Good morning, Raja! "Busier than usual today."

Last: "No! That's madness!"

Kyma:

First: "Sure it is."

Last "Give it to me."

Please read or skim the descriptions below the poll and approximate as best as you can before voting. (If you disagree with any of my character interpretations, feel free to comment.)

Hephaestus (or Kyma) - Can and will set their pride aside to help others. E.g., Hephaestus held back and did not stand up to Vulcan in order to save his fellow Evers and spare them from further punishment. He took the selfless way out, instead of going after personal satisfaction. Both he and Kyma care for others, and in doing so, save themselves, too. Yet, they also seem willing to sacrifice themselves. "All against Evil" mentality.

Hook (or Midas) - The "neutrals." These two get their own category, slightly outside of the Kyma to Rhian spectrum. Will save himself first if he has good reason to neglect others. Is willing to betray, lie, and cheat, yet cares for those specifically aligned with him. He cares for those on his side (sometimes, meaning only himself) and that excludes everyone else, the masses. Has an "us vs. them" or "us against the world" mentality.

Rise Rafal - Mostly "Good," or if not Good, honorable on some level, but cannot set his pride aside. Slightly narrower than the Hook category. Deserts and tortures everyone with almost no qualms. Yet does possess a conscience. Has a cynical mentality of: "I will save myself and hang everyone out to dry, to fend for themselves" or essentially, the classic: "Every man for himself." Assumes the worst of human nature, under normal circumstances—unless someone gives him reason to believe they will do Good. Also: "So long everyone. I only care about myself, and will do nothing for you." Plays defensive sometimes, but only for himself with few exceptions (like protecting Rhian). Overall: "Me and my personal gain against the world" mentality.

Fall Rafal - Inclusive of the above description. Plus: Will actively, preemptively hurt (or endanger) others, when necessary (could be "necessary" in his mind). Uses people, and sometimes, treats them as disposable. Escape Clause: If he's feeling particularly vindictive or sadistic, as events take a turn for the worst, the definition of "necessary" will widen to accommodate him. Salient addition of the: "I'm always right" mentality.

Fall Rhian (or Marialena) - Self-serving to a greater degree than Rafal is. Believes other people are Good, that humanity is fundamentally Good (or that it can further his cause), and leaves himself vulnerable... He will lie, cheat, and deceive to save his own skin. Plays dirty. Will actively, preemptively hurt. He cares for himself, and will harm and tear down others if it will benefit him. "Me with the world until the world hurts me" mentality.

au where the twins are big social media influencers and they originally made content together but around a year into it they kept arguing about what they wanted to make together so they made separate channels and it's kind of like "who do you like better??" and it's like such a big thing where it's like friendships are ending because of who supports which twin and then later on in their separate careers rhian does something stupid to get him cancelled and the internet goes absolutely wild and he makes one of those half-assed youtube apologies and all the original rafal supporters say stuff like "i always liked rafal better" and "i always got bad vibes from rhian tbh" after all the rhian fans either stop watching or move to rafal's channel

bonus: marialena is one of those people on twitter or whatever who makes a bingo prediction card for each year and she's suspiciously right every time she's right she always comments on whatever was on her bingo saying "this WAS on my [year] bingo card"

Marialena is part of the Sader family and is a seer

But wasn't it said in A World Without Princes that all the seers in the Sader family were men??

But there are clearly women and girls who were seers, as shown by Marialena and her mother Adela Sader...

If the Sader line of seers was all-male, how could there be female seers???

I am not the best at this, since character interpretation varies from person to person. I will try my best, but I apologize if you find it lacking. I also am only sticking with the main prequel characters, and not people like the Pirate Captain, Vulcan, Botic and so forth. If you would like to see them, don't be afraid to ask!

Rhian: ENFJ (Rhian goes first because I said so.)

Rafal: INTJ

Rufius: INFP

Kyma: I am in between INFJ and ISFJ but I feel like she fits the former more? Hm.

James: ENTJ maybe?

Peter Pan: ENTP

Aladdin: ESTP is my best guess.

Midas: INTP?

Marialena: This was one of the hardest, but maybe, MAYBE ISTP. She's so two-faced I don't even know who she really is.

Thanks! First, I will say: I had no plans to write this (though I'm tempted to now), and I do not have much of a plot, so this AU will most likely not become an actual story at all, as of now. I was simply playing with the concept.

It's partly inspired by Greco-Roman mythology, I would say, given how... mercurial in temperament Rafal is here.

I don't have an exact explanation as to who made Rafal into a god, aside from the idea of worship leading to the attainment of godhood, the rule being: no believers, no god. And yet, I'm contemplating using Rhian or Marialena as potential murderers or desecrators of some kind?

I did come up with another vignette though. It explains why they're in the positions they're in:

I figured fewer worthless humans would mean fewer to irritate me. I could've separated the wheat from the chaff of that kingdom if it hadn't developed new medicinal practices just to spite me.

"I'm sure finding a cure wasn't intentional," Sophie lampooned. "And you burnt an innocent man for playing the flute by your temple."

I had a migraine that day.

"So did I, but I could’ve driven him away without resorting to abject barbarism like you did. I’ve told you time and time again: you’re uncivilized."

I've existed long before any great civilizations rose. What did you expect? A domesticated deity? Restrained divinity? Mercy toward the undeserving?

"How do you explain ordering the slaughter of that hunter the other day?"

Sophie rolled her eyes. "It was one bird."

Sophie pursed her lips thoughtfully. "True…" she mused.

Rise of Sge/SGE Characters as High School Stereotypes Pt 2.

Rufius- Very shy unless he’s with close friends. Excels at culinary and creative arts classes. I picture him having little doodles on his papers.

Marialena- Kind of annoying, takes advantage of you. Probably the type who is always asking for a pen/pencil.

Sophie- Bold. Very popular and outgoing. Many dislike her, but deep inside, they secretly envy her. She wings most of her assignments and tests.

Agatha- Quiet. I think she’d be seen as emo from the outside. Always tired and wants to go home. Gets good grades and studies though. Will argue with anyone who bothers her.

Tedros- Ugh. He’s your typical hot-blond-football player guy that you’d see getting the girl in every 2000’s movie possible. He wins prom king easily.

Marialena in the workforce?

She would work as a supervisor/lower manager than a General Manager in a food place at least. She would live through the days of Rafal the Shitty Manager™ and Rhian the lenient/pushover manager, and i can imagine her managing the schedules. She can foresee when a health inspector comes or when someone will call out. Of course, she only uses this information for herself.

Oh and she would probably be involved in fishy business, maybe during the Rafal era? Rhian would demote her after Rafal gets transferred or maybe just removed as a whole.
