But you actually made me think of something though. Why did Buck have a different co-pilot that he had to yell at because he told the crew to bail out? I mean, I know that Benny was piloting his own plane on that mission(which love for Benny!) But why did they have to take him away from Buck?! LOL!

But the Benny affection is growing so much at this point that in a few days I’m going to be like who is this Buck and Bucky everyone is taking about?! Anyway, as far as Buck being with a different copilot that wasn’t uncommon for crew members to switch around to other planes or other crews as needed. It wasn’t like you could only fly with one plane or crew. I don’t recall if they gave a reason in the episodes when we see some switching.

I SO AGREE on this Benny DeMarco love!!! He really is a star and I wish we would have seen more of him. What a cutie with the beard and beanie and you’re right about him taking on those leadership roles, he’s Buck’s right hand in a lot of ways.

Also I feel like as it was the pilot’s job to take care of the plane and crew, it’s the copilot’s job to look after the pilot. Benny would fit this role very well (I feel like Benny is the older brother role for Buck just as Brady is younger brother for Bucky and looks out for him as a copilot.)

This would mean that you were likely a childhood friend or someone he knew before Nana’s death and in order to keep both himself and you safe, you both would have fled to America

During your guy’s time in America, you both met David Shield and became friends with him.
