rory ... you ask ... what are these gifs pointing out ??? zestial doesn't show in a reflection when by all logical reasoning & standing next to alastor , he should. but he shows on film ( which we know is a camera considering alastor's making it go fucky - wucky ) i'm pulling this into the fact that i've often been equating him to the known & unknown !!!! ( knowledge & the lack thereof , the innate fear that comes with it , a fear that's enough to make your skin crawl & light yourself ablaze desperate for an escape. ) he should show , but he doesn't. you don't see him coming when he's already got his eyes on you. you can't even trust your own reflection to be truthful !! this is also part of his distaste for more modern technology that's actually capable of capturing his likeness properly. while he's certainly had paintings done in the past , it's one thing to simply have a memory & another entirely for the possibility of ruining his plans by giving an early warning.

which means with the up of security systems , zestial has made some fun examples of those that thought it'd stop him . 🫶 ( but it is now something he actively looks out for & will go to lengths to destroy first if the need arises. )

did i 3d model & render a mockup of zestial's personal home ? yes !! ( it's not particularly red but more muted greys / blacks with dark woods. i set up the lighting like it would be in pentagram city with the red of the skies. ) despite him being from an earlier time , he heavily enjoys the architecture of the past two centuries & his home reflects that. it's ominous as hell , featuring heaven knows what else that lives in there & peeks throughout the windows at any given time !! imagine a haunted halloween mansion but all year round , forever. gardens around flourish , but none of the flowers or herbs should be tampered with. there is definitely some sinner - eating plant there along with various poisonous foliage & a few piles of bones. ♥

there are several mirrors for guests , but it should be noted zestial does not show up in them : see here. only a rare few would ever be invited here ( usually exclusive to extremely close friends or partners. ) otherwise business is usually subject to an entirely different estate that resembles more of the expected gothic architecture he's more intimately familiar with & carries with it a much more looming , powerful presence.

i present some misc zestial nsft headcanons.

if zestial truly cares for someone ( even if it's probably in a warped , fucked up kind of way because he's still a demon overlord i don't think healthy exists w/ him ) , he's a service top. certainly not opposed to consensual use of substances / aphrodisiac blends of tea either to heighten pleasure. there's something about completely undoing someone's composure that drives him up a wall.

on the opposite side , if it's merely attraction or even antagonistic ( like a hateship ) , zestial can be much more greedy & / or demanding. he enjoys a power struggle , teasing & getting beneath someone's skin in a controlled environment. this is quite possibly one of the only ways to entirely break his composure. wow . he might even say fuck.
