Paige x Reader Warnings: smut, cursing (i think) notes: I saw something similar to this months ago and though i would do a Christmas version.. Inspiration from: iceinmyveins on a03!

The holiday season was always a magical time of year. Snow fell softly, dusting the world in white, and the air was crisp with the chill of winter. But for you, this December felt especially full of surprises—and a little mischievous fun. Your girlfriend, Paige, had been teasing you with a mysterious “secret admirer” gift exchange that started on December 1st, and by now, you were fully caught up in the game.

It all began innocently enough: A small, beautifully wrapped gift appeared on your doorstep. You opened it to reveal a soft red scarf, the perfect shade to brighten up a cold winter day. A note attached simply said, “To make your days warmer.” You smiled, knowing that Paige had a playful side, and it felt just like something she’d do. But as the days went on, the gifts became more personal and more thoughtful. The 3rd brought a cozy blanket. On the 5th, a cute snow globe. On the 7th, a pair of fluffy socks that matched your style. Each one had a little note, each one a flirtatious tease.

By the time you hit December 12th, you were certain that Paige was behind it all. Her playful hints, the way the gifts reflected your tastes—there was no way it wasn’t her. You were thrilled and amused by it all. The mystery was exciting. But when you received another gift on the 14th—this one, a hand-knitted sweater—you knew Paige was stepping up her game.

But December 20th, the day before your team’s away game, brought even more confusion. You were in your hotel room with the rest of the team, preparing for the upcoming game when another gift arrived at your doorstep. You opened it quickly, expecting another thoughtful piece, and this time you found set of lingerie, a soft lavender. It wasn’t from Paige—was it? You still didn’t know, but now you were getting frustrated by the mystery. Had the gifts taken a wrong turn somewhere?

You decided it was time to talk to Paige about it, but there was no opportunity. The team was leaving for a series of games, and you were all holed up in a hotel for a few days. With a little time to kill before the evening’s game, you tried to ignore the strange gifts piling up, but your mind kept drifting back to them, trying to connect the dots.

The day of the game arrived, and the mystery surrounding the lingerie gift only deepened. You could feel your curiosity building. But before you could bring it up, you got another surprise. Paige wasn’t there when you returned to your room after the game, and there, on your bed, was a package. Another beautifully wrapped gift. You opened it to find a another set of lingerie. This one, a deep wine-red, more elaborate than the others, with delicate lace details. Your stomach did a flip.

You froze for a second before reading the attached note: “For when you’re ready. Merry Christmas.” It was signed with a small heart, the handwriting that didnt look fully like Paige’s. Your heart skipped a beat. The note sent a clear message—this was something more intimate, something that meant more than just a playful joke.

As you sat there holding the gift, the pieces of the puzzle fell into place, but confusion clouded your mind. Was this part of a larger surprise? Or was it a mistake in the grand plan? You were starting to feel overwhelmed and unsure of how to approach Paige with this gift.

“Hey, I got another gift from my secret admirer,” you said lightly, trying to gauge her reaction. Playing a cat and mouse game with her had to be one of the best aspects of your relationship

Paige's eyes narrowed almost immediately, a slight flicker of confusion crossing her face. She didnt sent you your gift today…atleast not yet…“Another one? What did they send this time?” Her voice was tight, and you could tell she wasn’t as playful as usual.

You hesitated for a moment before showing her the lingerie. “This came today… from my secret admirer.” You grinned, waiting for her reaction. But instead of a teasing smile, Paige’s face turned red with frustration.

“What the hell is this?” she demanded, her voice rising slightly. “I did not send this. Who the fuck sent you this? She paced in frustration, her hand rubbing her temples. 

You blinked, a little stunned by her outburst. “Wait, what do you mean? You didn’t send it?”

“No!” she snapped. “I mean, i sent the others and I had a plan, and it wasn’t supposed to go like this. This wasn’t my idea! I don’t even want to know who did this, but clearly, someone is messing with me, and I’m pissed.”

You were taken aback by how upset she was. You had expected teasing and maybe some playful jealousy, but not this level of frustration. “Okay, so you didn’t do it. Who do you think it is?”

Paige took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. “I don’t know. Maybe the team? They’ve been way too interested in my secret admirer game. I’ll bet they’re behind this.”

You frowned. “So, the lingerie…?”

“It wasn’t supposed to happen like this,” Paige muttered, her face flushed with both anger and embarrassment. “I had something sweet planned for you, not… this mess.” She glanced over at the lingerie, then back at you. “But now? I’ll make them pay. I’ll find out who did this, and when I do, they’re going to regret it.”

You sat there, still processing the sudden change in tone. “What are you going to do?” you asked, half-amused, half-nervous.

Paige smirked, her anger quickly turning to a devious grin. “Oh, I’m not going to let them off easy. I’ll make them pay for messing with my plans.”

The next day, you were all gathered at the hotel, preparing for the evening game, when Paige finally confronted the team. They were lounging in the lobby, clearly relaxed from their day off, when she stormed up to them, her eyes narrowed with determination.

“Alright, which one of you idiots thought it’d be funny to send my girlfriend lingerie?” Paige demanded, crossing her arms over her chest.

The team members exchanged confused glances, trying to figure out if she was joking or genuinely angry. One of them, kk , raised her hand sheepishly. “Yeah, uh, sorry. We thought it would be funny.”

Paige’s eyes darkened. “Oh, it was funny, huh?” She smiled, but it wasn’t a nice smile. “Well, i can do something funny too.”

The team members laughed nervously, clearly unsure of what was coming. “What do you mean?”

Paige’s grin only widened. “You’ll see.”

Later that night, after the game had ended and everyone was winding down, Paige led you into her room. “I got my payback,” she said, her lips curling into a mischievous smile. “And you won’t believe how. Let’s just say, they won’t forget this for a while.”

You raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “How so?”

Paige walked over to you, her eyes full of affection and something darker—playful and a little wicked. “Let’s just say they’ll be hearing of you tonight,” she whispered, before pulling you close and kissing you deeply.

She moved down to kissing your neck and sheds you of your clothes leaving you bare in front of her.. After she asks you to change into the lingerie that the team has so graciously given you. 

Once you emerge from the bathroom she stares at you with a mix of hunger and a wicked as a small smile forms on her mouth. “You’ll help me with my prank won’t you honey” she says forming hickies on your neck, and rubbing the soft flesh of your breasts through the lace making my npples peak. “ I- umm do you think the team-” I was cut off with my own gasp as paige starts to rub the little nub of my clit. Whimpers fill the room as I try to be quiet and considerate to the team members in the hotel room next door. Little did I know thats what paige wanted. 

She takes the hand that clamps over my mouth and the one that bunches her shirt and holds them in one hand of her own proving how bigger she is than me. My knees buckle as she shoves two fingers into my heat moving back and forth a couple time before she picks me up by the back of my thighs and throws me on the bed.

The next few hours passed in a blur of lovemaking and teasing moments between you and Paige. It was a Christmas to remember. When the team finally found out what Paige had done to get her revenge, they all knew better than to ever mess with her again. But it was clear: Paige had won this round—and she had made sure to end it with, a playful victory, and a promise that the best gifts were yet to come.

ESCAPE FROM GONGMEN TOWER please watch it right now please please it's such an underrated scene musically and visually. this is the scene where tigress catches a flaming arrow and that's the exact moment i became a homosexual. vic history. it's also the scene where we see her chops as a leader of the five and the way she's fit into this role to balance out Po so well. and also all her potential as who she could've been, if she'd been chosen to be the dragon warrior herself. but she's not.

MUSICIAN'S VILLAGE I LOVE this scene the way it introduces, to the audience, that the score is going to play a part in the fight scenes of this movie is absolutely magnificent. and the way we get reintroduced to the furious five's + po's fighting style, and it reminds us immediately that they are formidable--and then sets up the inciting incident of the plot with so much mystery (and we see the 2d animation style again too, which has always represented po's inner subconscious. WHY DIDN'T THEY DO THAT FOR THE FOURTH MOVIE. whatever)

i would say the bridge fight (kfp1) and i adore that scene but i have to say, i really love the performances, the ambience, the color boards, the sound effects, and the emotional impact of shifu and tai lung's fight in the 3rd act more. i love when kfp actually invested time in its non-main protag characters. tai lung was an absolutely fascinating villain and this scene just rounds out his character so well

The entirety of the secrets of the scroll short film oh my god i love that one so much. teenage tigress. my baby girl.

FUCK okay and then the fireworks factory (2nd movie) where Po confronts Shen about his past. And he gets shot with a cannon and Tigress doesn't get to him in time. breaks my heart every time. i'm going to include the scene where Tigress and Po fight right before that in the jail too bc the musical score called "Fireworks Factory" starts with THEIR HUG. AND IT ENDS WITH HER RUNNING TO CATCH HIM. AND FAILING. MY BAKA LIFE !!!!! i don't even ship them anymore like i did when i was 14 i mostly just love tigress but their platonic relationship is v important to me. i have to include their hug bc that did irreparable damage to me as a tween. sorry the quality of the first vid is so ass. their relationship in the entire 2nd movie is so good i could write a whole analysis on it probably. it's paining me physically to not include their earlier boat scene talk.

this is also the scene where tigress snarls at the gorilla and that changed my brain chemistry forever.

i love the entire second movie this is so hard for me AUGHHHGHGH okay quick honorary mention: i also love the scene where we see shen fight the three masters (rhino, croc, ox). that quick fight scene is SO well executed. the dialogue and the performances are incredible. i used to have every line of dialogue of this movie memorized and especially loved reciting this scene (skip to 1:10)

and then if i had to pick a moment from the third one it's the one where oogway's statue gets wrecked at the jade palace. it lands emotionally very well for a scene that could have easily been mishandled too comedically or too quickly. like it still gives me chills. and i'm not even gonna touch on the character animation/acting of tigress and shifu here bc GOD. kai's theme does rock also!!! AND i LOVE the colors in this movie SO MUCH holy fuck

and then a minor detail from the first one is i love how the characters act with each other, namely the five and shifu. they clearly have a history and/or comradery with each other. shifu undoing the nerve damage tai lung did in a way specific to each of his students stands out to me in particular.

1 and 2 are masterpieces to me and i have my Things about the 3rd one but overall, a beautiful trilogy. i wish the 4th one didn't exist im killing it with my bare hands. vic hate movie? vic murder it. 5th rule of the streets.

Ok SO! Reading the journal pages in TBOB I wanted to line them up with journal 3, and they line up SUPER well! (I mean, why wouldn’t they!)

Some lineups/ things I noticed while looking at them together:

‘My Assistant’ page Fidd’s photos of loved ones keeping him grounded- the picture of he and Ford in his desk!!

Journal starts on June 18, next dated page is August 3rd. He mentions the hide behind but doesn’t chronicle it until well into July. This furthers the thinking I’ve had that Ford doesn’t always write chronologically, or rather has different things in different journals (he just doesn’t always write in actual page order I think)- esp considering that he puts portal info in 1 & 2.

‘Cipher Speaks lines up with being written before “My Muse” as he names Bill directly, but ‘My Muse’ being written after as a re-do, hence the note to self to keep secret, and burn the page. This is in spring/ summer of 1981

Next, my muse and me, which is brings us to 1982, as “it has been a year since I met my muse” this page puts context to the next 40ish pages of J3, which chronically various cryptids. While the ghost pages are at toward the end, we can assume that perhaps he had the coordinates when writing but did the chronicle-ing after. Here’s where it gets confusing- the next page in TBOB is June 15, which helps because after August, we get July 18th in J3. So, we can conclude that August is August of 1981, and there’s a year skip to July of 1982. My Muse and Me is placed before the august 3rd page, but not too close to My Muse.

The Birthday page of TBOB is of 1982, and happens sometime probably after the ghost pages? Definitely before “My Muse has Spoken” (I think bill def settled in on ford being his portal guy after their night out)

Then Fidds joins. They go on their trips, the bunker, etc! We hit “An Encounter” and we get “we have nearly completed the portal and will soon be ready to test” This lines up with “A voice from the past” , as Ford is adjusting the TV for F’s first portal test.

The next dates page is Jan 17, testing day. So, of course, the Winter Break section happens before this. I think it goes before the page on them being super tired (the one directly after ‘an encounter’) so my guess is, an encounter, a voice from the past, then the page across from an encounter, then winter break, then the page about being tired, if that makes sense? (It’s the positioning of the blueprint style pages that say “the time has come to test” that put them after)

This also lines up for me with his convo with bill about his homeworld, and then mentioning bill being distant on ‘a winter break’

We get ‘snowed in’, and I think the disappearing child footprints are definitely a reference to Dipper and Mabel time traveling!

Some chronological pages next!

I think ‘My muse returns’ happens right after the final winter page, my reasoning being that Bill plants the idea that Fidds isn’t fully invested, and this lines up with Ford being “worried about his resolve” on the blueprint page. “Despite his concerns”

The childhood photo pages next, with “perhaps my muse was right that F is getting too close” (bill was def jealous of their holiday)

“Dream, or Warning?” Daytime of Jan 17, “F has invited me to dinner at Greasy’s tonight to toast to tomorrow’s test”

Jan 17th page happens next, an hour after their dinner, including the “it was just as my muse had warned me” Bill has succeeded in convincing ford to isolate himself from Fidds.

The J3 “No!!! curse the world” page and TBOB’s “I was wrong about everything” seem similar at first, but I think “No!!!” Was first- it details what happened in the portal test, and has very fresh anger to it.

It’s a bit tough to place the next pages, but I think the pages before TBOB’s “The war in my mind” happen before the page of all the codes, where he writes “he is taking advantage while I sleep” in “the war in my mind” he is already worried about burning the journals, which is a concern presented previously on “hiding places” him getting kicked out the library pairs well with his lack of sleeping and freak out in the diner.

I do think the zom-bills page happens after the incident at the diner, as he is surprised that Bill calls him Sixer, but then doesn’t mention it when he calls him that again on the zom-bills page.

Everything “a war in my mind” and after takes place after the codes page, but before the “Trust No One” page. Bill definitely wrote the ‘blank’ blacklight page about being summoned while he was possessing Ford.

On the diner page, he mentions there being only one person left to trust, giving fodder for bill to prank him by trying to call Stanley. He’s given the 72 hours. He finishes that entry realizing he can’t contact Fidds, and makes his pro/con list. He writes his final journal entry, saying “all that there is left to do is wait for S”

And that concludes my hopefully sense-making idea of what pages go where!! If you have both books, I definitely recommend looking at them together!

I’d love to hear any thoughts on this! It was really fun to go through the pages. It got a little tricky at the end, but it’s definitely likely that Ford wasn’t writing in page order anyways, being paranoid and sleep deprived.

I’m so glad we got these pages, as they really beef up the lead up to the end of Ford’s first section of journal 3! And of course, give us lots more about Ford and Bill’s relationship and how they talked to eachother. The notion of bill being able to still enter ford’s mind after Ford learned the truth was always so compelling, and I’m so glad we got to see how that actually played out!

my 2024 art summary 🫶🫶

for me, this year was the first time that i really tried out digital art, which has definitely been a journey! i think i’ll always feel more confident with traditional art (and there are a couple months where i didn’t do digital art at all! april has a sketch bc i was SOO busy that month, and october has a fun little marker piece) but it’s so interesting to explore digital!

i think i’ve really started to get the hang of it, especially in my november and december pieces — but i also think i’m going to make an effort to get back into posting traditional art. my alcohol markers are rotting over here …

anyways because i’m actually incapable of not babbling here’s a little explanation for each month

january, february, and march: all drawings i did for a mental-health oriented small business in my area — basically each one represents a different cognitive function. these were literally my first rendered digital art pieces ever but yk … there are 6 in all but these i feel are the best ones lol

april: i had ZERO time on my hands due to aps but luckily i was still sketching! my style has evolved a bit since then but what hasn’t changed is my love for coloured pencil sketches ILY COLOURED PENCIL SKETCHES

may & june: these are a couple of oc ref sheets that i was intending to use for artfight! except i never finished the full set and so never participated in artfight. next year i swear. this was also from my phase where i used the crosshatching pattern brush for every single background ever

july: so this was actually a design for a screenprint! the stippling made me and my art teacher miserable in the end but u know it’s about the experience … this was also inspired by kiki’s delivery service my 3rd favourite ghibli movie … i love u kiki

august: this is a wip that i will never ever finish (and i actually posted it on tumblr here over a month after abandoning it 😭) but it’s also the only kotlc thing i’ve drawn in like a year and a half (at least until the unravelled release) and i think it’s cute

september: listen i Love Laufey and every september 8th she does a little fan celebration called a very laufey day! so this was inspired by that, specifically the song “dreamer” — there are a lot of little details that reference various aspects of the lyrics or official video! super fun to draw and one of the digital pieces that i’m the proudest of 🤭

october: okay this one was sooo fun because i hadn’t touched my alcohol markers in a longggg while … it was inspired loosely by the inktober prompt “nomad”

november: this was a piece for one of my school’s publications, and was loads of fun to draw! one of the digital pieces that i’m proudest of tbh simply because there’s so much going on but it still feels fairly cohesive

december: this was my kotlc secret santa gift and also the first fully polished kotlc piece i had done in a VERYY long time — so while i was deathly sick while creating it (literally i was and still am On My Deathbed) it was super nostalgic and fun :)

I’m sorry if this is a weird thing to randomly send but I’ve spent the last few days looking through your blog and I’m totally enchanted with your worldbuilding and art. You have such a rich and detailed writing style and the illustrations are so good at making that information feel grounded. I’ve been finding a ton of amusing, small similarities with my own WIP fantasy story and it’s made me really excited to read the White Calf when it’s released! If you happen to have any extra information about the Odonii priests offhand, would you be open to elaborating some on them? I’ve been really curious about the details of their order and customs.

Ok so the Odonii priesthood is a remnant of very ancient ethnic Wardi and Wogan traditions involving the veneration of lions. It used to be a minor and secretive mystery religion, but gained increased prominence with the emergence of the Wardi Empire and increasing connections with the military.

At their core they are a state-sanctioned cult of the Lion Face of God, which is the spirit of sovereignty, military might and warriorhood, and has evolved an association with the health and survival of the imperial entity itself.

Older Wardi religion under the 3rd Burri empire had the Ox Face of God as the most important Face, reflecting the region’s status as an agricultural hub. Transition to prominence of the Lion Face (entirely rooted in native Wardi and Wogan traditions with little Burri influence) was effectively a rejection of ‘foreign’ influences, and the signal of a new native political power as the city-state of Wardin began to conquer and ally with its neighbors in the chaos of the Burri empire’s collapse.

The role of Odonii is open only to people assigned female, and only open to legal citizens of Imperial Wardin (with occasional exceptions being children chosen by the Odomache). It’s a broad priesthood with two different classes, with un-sworn Odonii not being fully initiated, having no expectations of celibacy, and basically existing as a ceremonial role and for the purpose of political marriages. Sworn Odonii are selected at puberty (usually by senior priestess but occasionally by the head of the order) and serve for life.

There are thirteen senior priestesses (not always reflective of age, this is often a political status) and one leader, the Odomache, who is a deified mortal believed to be the physical incarnation of the Lion Face of God. The senior priestesses and Odomache interpret signs and omens and advise military leaders. The Odomache is the de-facto general of the entire military and has ultimate say in its action and movements (this is not officially mandated by law, but is common practice- this person is literally believed to be a manifestation of God, so their say has extreme power). This is to a point that tensions between the imperial family and Odonii order are pretty extreme (as the military will, in practice, answer to the Odomache above anyone else), and only retained by continued allegiance and political maneuvering.

Sworn Odonii are conceptualized as a sort of physical manifestation of the sanctity of the military and the imperial state. Their bodies are heavily politicized as such, and they are expected to be virgins and remain celibate, be physically fit and powerful, and have skill in all basic weapons (and bear them on a routine basis). This serves to, by extension, ensure that the military is similarly blessed and its power is maintained.

The central power of the order is stationed at the temple of Dinaeti, which is located on the edge of the city of Wardin and is appropriated from an ancient fortress. The highest quality captive lion population is kept on its grounds (a large, walled field with a sacred grove and spring). Members of the public will make pilgrimages to the temple to donate tribute to the Odonii and make sacrificial offerings to the Lion Face (usually through bloodletting and offerings of wine, though there are a few Galenii priests kept in service to perform animal sacrifices for the public). Young Odonii in training live there from their induction until they are 21 years old (usually 5-10 years) and the Odomache is stationed there when not performing other functions.

The average day to day role of a sworn Odonii is mostly just a mundane routine of blessing of soldiers and their weapons, consecrating various ritual materials (oils, grain, metal..), physical activity and training, attending festivals. Some Odonii (mostly those that are un-sworn or in training) spend much of their time tending to the captive lion population, and are involved in selecting and blessing them for sacrifice when needed. Sworn Odonii lead soldiers in a weapons dance prior to battle or during training, which boosts morale and intends to secure God’s blessing for the endeavor.

Their social status is one of high esteem. They are the most powerful priesthood and have legal rights typically denied to other women (self representation in trials, free and sole ownership of land and property without being specifically gifted such by a husband/father, etc). Crimes committed against Odonii are subject to severe retribution- stealing from one carries a death sentence, a physical assault results in being killed and denied burial (condemning one to a dismal afterlife as a wandering ghost). Even being accused of inflicting a curse on an Odonii can result in an execution (proof is required, but the standard for proof isn't exactly infallible). Sexual assaults on an Odonii are the most severe crime by far (and very rare), resulting in the aggressor and their entire immediate family and heirs executed, the aggressor mutilated and denied proper burial, and all their assets being appropriated by the victimized Odonii (who is forced to retire due to having been 'defiled').

Their vows of celibacy are also extensions of their body's ceremonial role as an embodiment of military power and sanctity- breaking this vow means that this sanctity is broken. This is partly related to body taboos in the region, where receiving penetrative sex is one of many forms of metaphysical vulnerability (the positive aspect is that this vulnerability allows for conception, but the negative aspect is it opens one to spiritual pollution and curses). This is simply accepted as the reality of life for women, and used as a justification for the patriarchal structure of this culture (ie women are innately frail and unsuited to leadership because they are subject to spiritual pollution). So women in positions of exceptional power are generally expected to remain celibate as a means of reducing some 'innate' or inevitable female frailty.

Odonii are the only women who are directly involved in the military on a normalized and official basis. It’s rare that they actually engage in active combat, but they will have been trained in all relevant weapons and will fight when necessary. Their role on the battlefield is a spiritual blessing and a rallying point for their soldiers (they aren’t just fighting for whatever the hell agricultural land they’re attempting to subjugate, they’re fighting to protect a sacred priestess blessed by God). They aren't commonly killed in combat except as an accident or a VERY intentional show of hostility to the imperial entity, as their enemies are generally aware of their esteemed role and how serious retribution can be. Odonii on defeated sides in battle are often spared and allowed to freely leave (sometimes even given provisions and the release of some captives as a show of honorable conduct, which may grant the winning side mercy and better negotiating positions with the imperial entity down the line).

Odonii are also the ONLY people who are allowed to own and carry firearms outside of combat (civilians can’t even legally carry a dagger within the city limits). Firearms are extremely rare and expensive, and their use is restricted to only elite groups of soldiers. Odonii, as physical embodiments of military might, are allowed to freely carry all classes of weapons and get first pick of firearms. (Their perpetual bearing of arms again translates to a military that is spiritually imbued with constant empowerment). This can and does make them targets for robbery, but the consequences of robbing an Odonii are dire enough that few will make the attempt.

Odonii occupy a somewhat unique gendered space in the cultural framework. Imperial Wardi culture is patriarchal, with women, eunuchs (categorized as a third gender), and akoshos (an identity group of people designated male who take women’s roles in daily life) having a lesser status, but sworn Odonii exist outside of the expected roles for women and have relative socio-political equality to men.

This role definitely would have some attractiveness to some people who we would now consider bisexual/lesbians, or trans men/transmasc, as it allows for divergence from expected gender norms and no expectation to marry (which would be to a man), and ‘celibacy’ in this context means abstinence from penetrative sex (meaning you could Generally get away with anything else (though not with someone who is societally considered a man, as it would simply be Assumed that penetration is involved))

synopsis: An seemingly regular day in Y/N's life. She goes to school with her friends, gets assigned projects and discusses homework, and goes to work. But of course there's the little things, like her secret admirer and the feelings one can't control.

"Y/N, Hurry up! You'll miss the train!" your mother called out to the girl. You stumbled as you hurried to put your socks on.

"I'm coming! Is Yedam waiting outside?" you yelled back as you walked into the hallway. You rushed down the stairs, narrowly avoiding the toys left.

"Of course, he is. When is that boy not waiting for you?" she said, turning to look at you from her spot in the latchen. Your mom pointed to the three boxes next to where your bag laid. "Tell me what you and the boys think. I tried something new" she mentioned before turning around to focus on the stove.

"Thank you, love you" you told her as you struggled into your shoes and blew her a kiss. Opening the door, you were greeted with the sight of Yedam's back. He turned around, giving you a smile.

"Late night?" Yedam asked, raising his eyebrow at you. While Y/N's hair was styled and her uniform neat, the male knew by the way, she was still wiggling into her shoes and the open backpack hanging on your forearm. The girl mockingly laughed back in response.

"Very funny, Damie. Ms. Choi's project kicked my ass last night" you told him with an dramatic sigh. He only laughed back, reaching over to zip up Y/N's bag.

"We had two weeks. Don't tell me, you waited to the last minute?"

V/N scoffed as she bumped her shoulder with the male. "No. It was only little details". The girl shook her head with a little wave of her hand as she spoke. Yedam laughed again, bumping into Y/N again. "Oi! Sungchan, Jung Sungchan!" Y/N raised her voice, calling out to her best friend.

"I hear AND see you. There's no need to yell my name out like that" the tall male told her in fake annoyance. Sungchan knew that the girl would argue with him meaning that her attention wouldn't be on the other boy. The trio playfully fought (Y/N and Sungchan or Y/N and Yedam) and politely conversed (Sungchan and Yedam) as they walked into the subway station. As they settled into the cart, Y/N pulled out two boxes from her bag, handing it to the two males.

"Mama said she wants feedback. It's something new." you told the two of them. Sungchan playfully saluted while Yedam nodded.

"I'll text her" Yedam said as he placed the box into his own backpack. Sungchan scowled at the boy's words. The both of them had Mrs. L/N's number but it felt Yedam was rubbing it in by saying such. It annoyed Sungchan to no end when the other boy did things like that.

Y/N lightly elbowed the tall male, gaining his attention. "Are you okay?" you whispered to Sungchan.

"Yeah" he responded back, also in a whisper. Sungchan poked at your head causing it to move to the side. You shot him a glare back but he thought you looked cute with your pouted lips. Sungchan just laughed, covering up how his heart fluttered.

"Meet me in the courtyard after putting your belongings away" you told Sungchan as he head in the opposite direction. Y/N and Yedam walked into their shared classroom. "There's bread and milk on my desk again" you said to the male by your side, stopping at your desk.

'Must be your secret admire again" Yedam teased as he went to his own desk. "Who do you think it is?" he continued, seating down in his seat but facing in your direction. Y/N only shrugged her shoulders in response. Yedam could see that she was thinking by her furrowed eyebrows.

"Sohee, do you see who's putting the items on my desk? You're always here before we get here" I/N asked the male sitting next to her. Said male looked up, pulling his attention away from the book he was reading.

"No, no clue. It's there before I come in" Sohee explained, his large boba eyes meeting yours as he pointed to the food items. Y/N nodding though she pouted and mumbled an okay in response. Sohee's heart fluttered at the action, and he sharply looked awav before anyone could catch the heat growing on his cheeks. Anton looked over, silently watching as Y/N stuck a straw through the milk. He smiled as the girl happily drank the vanilla milk with a smile on her own face.

I thought you didn't like it without chocolate?" Yedam asked the girl who was busy fighting against the bread packaging. Y/N ignored him in favor of eating the soft bread.

"It's from my secret admirer~" she sung as spun on her heel. "So I have to enjoy. They at least knew that I liked Vanilla milk" Y/N continued with a happy hum, making her way out into the hallway.

20) Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

Themes that come back a lot, mmmh... well, misunderstandings are my bread and butter, whether it's small ones in the middle of dialogue, or the premise of the whole fic. So maybe that one?

For the words and/or expressions that come back a lot, I honestly don't even WANT to look, because if I do I'll start noticing it all the time and it'll ruin my groove. 😅

And for the settings... well, the boys certainly do spend a lot of time at the office, so I feel like it's not MY fault if a lot of scenes I write end up taking place there. Add a bed in there (with its obligatory justification), and it's the perfect space. 😜

22) Are there certain types of writing you won’t do? (style, pov, genre, tropes, etc)

Style: I feel like my style shifts depending on the story I'm telling, but that happens pretty naturally, so I don't think I would like to try and write an entire story in a style that didn't feel easy to me. After all that's the whole reason I write, to see the sort of writing I want to read come to life under my eyes! ✨

POV: I have no issue with any POV, I think anything can work if you MAKE it work. I personally wouldn't write fanfiction in 1st person POV anymore, because that's what I wrote when I started and so it feels a bit young to me? These days I mostly write fanfiction in 3rd person POV, but I've written some In the Flesh fics in 2nd person POV, and I still think it was the best fit for it.

Genre: I'd feel a little intimidated with some genres out there, since I’d need to work on familiarizing myself with them, but I'd be down to experiment if I felt inspired.

Tropes: I am a fervent supporter of the idea that you can make any trope work if you've got something to say. Bad tropes are bad when they're used on auto-pilot, because it was easy or convenient. But tropes used in a thoughtful way, to be built upon and deconstructed and explored in all the intricate details they imply? YES PLEASE.

Ooooh that's a really good question, and quite relevant to me personally because I almost never write with prompts or challenges. 😅

I wish I could! But to be honest they just make me nervous. I don't like having a deadline, I don't like not being sure I haven't missed some secret rule, and most of all I struggle with fitting the story around elements that didn't come to me naturally.

Honestly I really admire people who can do it, and I have a lot of fun reading prompt-inspired or challenge-inspired fics? But for me, it's just more pressure to try and control what I'm writing instead of just following the flow and having fun, and honestly I put enough pressure on myself already.

I do love to be part of events and stuff, but then the most I'll do is try and assign a fic I already know I want to write or that is already mostly done to a prompt that happens to work for it, like I did for above all I want you to be warm, for example. Anything more elaborate, with required themes or words or settings, is not for me. 😬

For the record, this isn’t a “foIIow 4 foIIow!! i WaNt MoRe FoLIOwErS!!” kinda deal. I just want folks who've stuck around for a long time to get a better chance at receiving something in return for watching this blog grow and evolve along with me. TEAM DIGITAL ART CONTEST - ARTISTS OF THE APOCALYPSE

This challenge is here to connect artists and grow our art skills! In the future, it may change to OC’s as an option as well as yourselves or profile pictures!

Every time we do this, there will be a new theme! This contest will most likely be held every year to six months, depending on how this one goes!

This contest started local to a fandom for a Webtoon called Cinderella Boy, but now it’s open to all artists across the internet. The top three teams of 15 people or less will receive one of three creative projects as prizes.

1st Place 🥇 : A choice of either: A SHORT comic about any of the teams survival/team member’s OC’s survival in this apocalypse (Maximum 25 Panels, the team can write the script or I can) OR a longer short story about any team’s members in this apocalypse. 3k-7k, also written by me

2nd Place 🥈: Choice of either: 1. Short story of any team surviving the apocalypse, (1.5k to 2.5k words) OR 2. Low detail art of five OC’s/Characters/People on any team, colored (Waist Up) OR 3. SHORT mini comic! (Maximum 10 panels, script can be me or the team)

3rd Place 🥉: 10 Characters/People/OC’s drawn bust up, colored

Here's how it works after you join the server:

Welcome to the bunker!

It's the end of the world, discord bots have Infiltrated every corner of technology, and now? They're turning on us. They've Infiltrated everything from banks to nukes, but users from all different situations across the world somehow got together- In three bunkers.

Now, it's your turn to make the art to save our spirits! Teams of each bunker will win different prizes, but only one will survive. Here's how the contest works!

1. You go to "Sign Up" channel under "Bunker Contest! and say something along the lines of, "I want to sign up." (DM me instead if you want to be a judge I'm @notaluma)

2. I assign you all to three random teams, and every team gets assigned a private chat on the server, and a magma

3. Each team will be secretly assigned an opposing one, and each member assigned a secret opposing member of that team to draw! You cannot share with anyone but your team who your drawing, which means you don't know who's drawing you!

If you want yourself IRL to be drawn, there will be a channel to post pictures of yourself for whoever is drawing you. Otherwise, it will just be profile pictures.

Your own drawings of yourself works too, but people are welcome to do their own styles

4. Each team will receive a blank bunker background on magma, you will then plan out together where each drawing will go, and what they'll be doing. Example:

"I want Maneater313 to be eating chips with ShakeltOnBabe in this spot."

5. You draw your person, onto the canvas as discussed.

6. Judging! Your team's final drawings will be ranked by each judge on a scale of one to five in three categories:

1. Fun-ness to look at and experience

2. Teamwork and Creative Flow/Cohesion

3. Creativity

7. I tell each team that died how they did. (Non-Graphic, pretty much all jokes)
