Shadow the Hedgehog Headcannons
Shadow the hedgehog x reader Warnings: None Notes: just shadow if he were being a tease to his significant other (a little sum cause the movie was dropped)
Sarcastic Remarks: Shadow loves to make sarcastic comments, often poking fun at your habits or quirks. He'll tell you things like, "Guess I’ll have to show you how it's done, again," whenever you try to do something he thinks you can’t handle.
Mocking Your Speed: Since he’s known for being incredibly fast, Shadow might tease you about not being able to keep up. "Hurry up, unless you're planning on slowing me down," he’ll smirk, knowing full well you’ll catch up in your own way.
Feigning Ignorance: Shadow loves pretending he doesn’t know something when he clearly does, just to get a rise out of you. If you ask him for help with something, he might say, “I’m not your tutor,” then end up showing you anyway.
The ‘Unexpected Compliment’: He’ll drop a compliment in the most unexpected way, making it seem like he’s trying to be rude at first. "You actually look halfway decent today. Guess it’s the lighting," he'll say with a smirk, knowing you’ll blush or respond defensively.
Teasing Physical Touch: He may deliberately brush up against you or playfully nudge you when you're not expecting it. Sometimes, it’s just to mess with you, and other times, it’s to see how you'll react to the sudden closeness.
Over-the-Top Drama: Shadow might act overly dramatic when you do something he finds amusing. "Oh, sure, that’s how you’re going to solve it? Classic,” he’ll say with exaggerated disbelief, even if it’s a simple solution. It’s all in good fun to see your reaction.
Competitive Tease: In friendly competitions or games, Shadow will never let you forget who’s winning. “Not bad, but I am the ultimate,” he’ll taunt, grinning whenever you get even a tiny bit close to beating him.
Mocking Your ‘Flustered’ Moments: If you get flustered or embarrassed, Shadow loves to notice and point it out with a sly grin. “Did I say something that made you blush? How cute,” he’ll tease, not letting you live it down for a while.
"I’m Not Interested" (But He Totally Is): Shadow will act uninterested when you flirt or compliment him, saying things like, “Stop wasting your time,” but his small smirk or subtle eye contact will tell you otherwise, making you wonder if he’s just playing hard to get.
Unbothered Smirks: Whenever you try to challenge him or show off, he’ll give you that signature smirk and say, “Is that all you’ve got?” His teasing tone makes it sound like a challenge, even if he knows he’s got it all under control.
Tease and Walk Away: Shadow is notorious for saying something teasing and then walking away before you can respond. He loves leaving you with no time to react, knowing you’ll be caught up thinking about what he said.
Messing with Your Routine: If he sees you’re in the middle of something important, Shadow might deliberately distract you with a harmless comment or playful taunt, just to see how easily you can lose focus.
"You Could Use Some Help": If you’re struggling with something, Shadow will occasionally offer his help in a teasing way. “You could use a lot of help,” he’ll say, just to make you roll your eyes before he steps in to assist.
Becoming More Touchy: After spending more time together and getting to know you, Shadow begins to show more affection in a subtle, touchy way. He may rest a hand on your shoulder or casually wrap an arm around your waist when you're close. It's his way of expressing how much he's grown to care for you, but in typical Shadow fashion, he’s still a little reserved about it. These moments are rare, but they show his soft side emerging as he grows more comfortable with you.
So... i fear after watching the movie I have fallen a little for shadow, like i have been with the fandom for along time since i have played that games as a child but wheeeewwww movie shadow did sum to me or maybe it was the final push...

Court of Revenge
Paige x basketball!Reader Warnings: None!
The gym was alive with energy, the crowd buzzing as the warmups began. You moved with purpose, each dribble and jump shot sharp, every motion a product of months of preparation. This wasn’t just another game. It was your moment to settle a score.
Across the court, Paige Bueckers was a picture of confidence. She was hitting shots effortlessly, laughing with her teammates as if she had no care in the world. But you knew better. To you, this wasn’t just a game. It was personal.
Last season, Paige had made a reckless play that ended your sister’s basketball career. One careless foul and your sister’s dreams were shattered. Paige had walked off the court without a second thought, her rise to stardom unscathed, while your sister had to watch from the sidelines as her future slipped away.
You clenched your fists, the fire inside you growing hotter with each second. Paige didn’t remember your sister. But tonight, you would make sure she remembered you.
The opening tip-off set the tone, fast and aggressive. Paige’s team quickly showed their dominance, with Paige at the center of everything. Her leadership was undeniable, and her shot seemed automatic.
But you were ready.
By the first quarter’s end, you’d already shown her what you were made of. You blocked her shot cleanly, raced down the court, and nailed a layup on the other end. The crowd cheered as your name echoed through the gym. As you jogged back on defense, Paige’s eyes caught yours for the first time. Her smirk appeared, faint but there, a mixture of amusement and curiosity.
“Nice hands,” she said, her voice light. You shot her a cold look, saying nothing. Your focus never wavered.
The game grew more intense as the minutes passed. Every time Paige tried to make a play, you shut her down. Every shot she took, you answered with one of your own. The tension between the two of you was palpable.
In the third quarter, she drove toward the basket, attempting a quick move to get around you. You anticipated her move perfectly, blocking her shot and grabbing the rebound. Her frustration was evident as she jogged back on defense, but there was also something else in her eyes—a hint of respect.
“You’re not bad,” she said, her tone still a little light, but there was an edge to it now. You didn’t respond. You just kept your eyes locked on the court, focusing on the next play.
By the fourth quarter, the game was neck and neck, the crowd on their feet, each possession feeling like it would decide the outcome. Your team called a timeout with just 30 seconds left, the score tied.
The ball was coming to you.
You stepped back onto the court, prepared for what was to come. Paige immediately moved to guard you, her body language stiff and alert. She was no longer laughing or smirking. There was something else in her eyes now.
“She's not bad,” Paige said quietly as she positioned herself in front of you. Her voice was steady, but there was a crack in it—a recognition that you weren’t just another opponent.
You didn’t respond. You were already focused, the plan set in your mind.
The referee’s whistle blew. The play began.
You caught the ball and drove toward the basket, Paige sticking to you like glue. Her defense was tight, and she was quick on her feet, but you were faster. You spun past her, rising up for the layup.
Paige’s arm came down hard across your shoulder, and the whistle blew. Foul.
The crowd erupted. You stepped to the free-throw line, the game hanging in the balance. Paige stood a few feet away, her arms crossed tightly, her jaw set in frustration.
You sank the first shot, the ball falling smoothly through the net. You took a breath, lined up for the second shot, and let it go. Swish.
The buzzer sounded. Game over.
As your team celebrated, you lined up with the other players for the handshake. Your heart was pounding. You were so close now.
When it was Paige’s turn, she extended her hand, her eyes narrowing slightly, waiting for you to meet her gaze.
You didn’t stop. You walked right past her without a second glance, ignoring her outstretched hand completely.
The crowd fell silent for a split second, the tension thick as Paige’s voice rang out, calling after you. “Hey!”
You turned slowly, locking eyes with her. There was something in her expression now—a mix of confusion and frustration. She wasn’t used to this. She wasn’t used to someone not playing by her rules.
You stepped closer to her, your voice low but carrying enough weight to send a chill through the air. “You think this is just another win for you?”
Paige’s lips parted, but she said nothing, her eyes searching yours for something she couldn’t quite find.
“You don’t even remember, do you?” you pressed, your voice cold as ice. “The way you ended my sister’s career. The way you didn’t even think twice.”
Her breath hitched, the realization hitting her like a wave.
“You took everything from her,” you continued, your words cutting through the air like a knife. “But I’ll make sure you never forget the name across my back.”You let those words sink in, watching as a visible shiver ran down her spine. Her expression faltered for just a moment, the cocky veneer she always wore slipping as her lips pressed into a thin line.
Without another word, you turned on your heel and walked away, leaving Paige standing there, frozen in place, her hand still hanging in the air. The weight of your words lingered in the gym, and you knew without a doubt—this rivalry was far from over.
Although ... it is over lol... (if this gets enough hype ill write a part two)
