i remember once seeing an ad for scar reducing creams and ended up deciding no that's not reasonable to buy if it's literally self inflicted. but because of this now being in a visible place (can probably hide until summer, but after it's too warm to wear long sleeves... oh gosh. :< ) I feel like I probably should do research on how to minimise scarring at least for visible cuts for the sake of others.

and maybe invest in a nice light summer cardigan :) you know those pretty lacy ones, I bet I could pull that off, and I've wanted one for ages so this might be my motivation :)

....I should also do research on how to hide them before they've healed, because I've got a simulation next Tuesday. If necessary I talk to the person running the sim and get permission to be in long sleeves for that

I’m gonna challenge my subconscious to a fist fight and I’m gonna lose

#i had a dream that mabel kept coming back to life just to sniff stuff or investigate food that she liked #she was still dead but i’d buried her instead of cremating her and for whatever reason i was either digging her up #or she was digging herself up and sniffing and eating stuff #and i was like ‘she’s CLEARLY still alive if she can do this’ and everyone was like ‘no she’s dead you have to bury her again’#whenever she fell asleep she would be dead again. like she’d stop breathing and her heart would stop #i don’t know if she was like. a vampire dog? but it was so upsetting to dream #this is the second sad dream i’ve had about mabel in the course of like 3 days.. no less because the last one made me wake up in tears #on friday morning. and like it’s brought me to my knees honestly. i can’t DO this #also in my dream i went to a careers advisor or life coach or something and they were really mean to me lol #and my family made me go with them to visit some people i didn’t know who insisted on serving us cups of tea #it was really strong hot tea and i don’t really drink tea like that #and my grandma’s friend who was the loveliest woman and died a few years ago was there #and she was just absolutely pouring milk in her tea even though it was overflowing and going everywhere #and mabel was there accosting their terriers even though she was supposed to be dead. it was too much #in another part of the dream my old roommafe (who i really didn’t like) was pressuring me to go drinking with her even though mabel had just #(dubiously) died. and i was like ‘you do realise i’m going to get absolutely paralytic and scream and cry about my dog the whole time’#there was also this subplot where like everyone i knew but me had been in a play and the stage makeup had been made from ‘magic beans’#that stained everyone blue. so everyone i met had randomly blue eyebrows and stuff #there was one man who was just fully blue #also i was supposed to be in the world championships for a game that was like tetris but more esoteric but the servers broke down #or something like that. i think that’s everything #i’m just like.. why make me bawl at 6:30 on a sunday morning. what’s the advantage of that #i’m supposed to be taking care of benji and he’s looking at me like ‘god this woman is a basket case’#his owner has colitis and chronic fatigue and she has her shit more together than me #personal

Nobody tells you actually how funny it is to run into someone when they're waking up. Because my sleep schedule is more of a sleep plan, there's no set times but it's probably gonna happen. My brother was getting up for work and saw me and was like "??why are you awake?? Why aren't you asleep?"

drugstore makeup run ends in tragedy: lip gloss looks really cool but tastes bad. like if they made cyborg vegetables

#this is the second time this has happened and i have exactly 2 things of lip gloss #when is it my turn to be happy #also ppl are uh a bit friendlier when im prettygirlmoding instead of butchmoding #i know thats not a unique observation but ig i havent really picked up on it in my personal life til now #some of it's also bc dark makeup draws the eye a lot more than a bare face (at least on my pasty ass)#and ive been pretty butchy lately but today i went all out and yeah no ppl like a goth girl in platforms more ig #and it's not like they're not nice to me when im butchy it's just like. i don't turn heads in the same way #bc i kinda just look like a chipper boy #and the guys at kroger are ime not as compelled by that image #this is not me crawling wounded into the refuge of femininity or whatever btw it's just kind of a huh moment on my part #ok the dark makeup tag isn't moving sooo whatever anyway

I told bf I really wanted to go out somewhere glamourous for drinks for my bday this year. Maybe in London. I hope we can make it happen.

#i feel like my life is just beginning sometimes #but simultaneously i'm approaching middle age #when i was younger i always thought i wasn't the type of person to do anything glamourous #but i think it was mainly about clothes and confidence. I knew glamour meant dresses and makeup and i didn't want it to #but since coming out i'm more confident dressing how i want and my confidence has increased AND i have disposable income #so it's like i realised i actually can do things now but omg it's SCARY #i don't want to waste my life and every second feels precious #i don't want to have a shit night and be disappointed but i'll never know if i don't try new things #i feel so annoyingly naive and i'm certain everyone can tell that i have barely any experience of going out to bars and clubs #plus the whole medication assisted lightweight situation...genuinely embarrassing but at least with my partner it wouldn't matter #i have to try anyway i have to try and have some fun now that i can and now i'm becoming my true self

Start with your bare lips, add a BOM lipstick, then go grab the "Pink Fuel GENUS HD Lipstick Applier Dazzle Me" kit on the marketplace and thank me later. Yeah, it's a few years old but it still works perfectly. Using the ombre option as a topper after your BOM lip just amplifies the look.
