Love Letters
Sebastian Sallow x Reader
WC: 1K
A/N: I don’t know how popular the Hogwarts legacy fandom is as of now because I’ve not been on tumblr, but I found this fic in my drafts(along with quite a few wips) and realized I never posted it so I thought I would feed the Sallow girlies a quick snack today.
Summary: Sebastian wants to write you a love letter to tell you about his feelings but it’s not going the way he hoped, even with Ominis’ help.
---
Ominis knows he shouldn’t be as amused as he is right now, but he can’t help it. It’s not often he gets to experience Sebastian embarrass himself so willingly.
Try as he does to suppress his chuckle, it slips out and Sebastian sighs, letting the several half written love notes spill onto the table in front of him.
“It’s not funny.” Sebastian practically pouts, glad his friend can’t see the expression on his face.
“I disagree.” Ominis taunts him with a grin, leaning back in his seat.
“I’ve been trying to write Y/N a note all afternoon! I just don’t understand why they sound so…
“Awful?” Ominis jumps in. “Horrendous? Painfully cliche?”
“Oi, shut it.” Sebastian mutters, gently nudging Ominis’ foot under the table. He very much regrets asking his best friend for help now he knows how embarrassed he’d be.
He sighs before picking up all his papers, trying to find the best parts of them all. “Why don’t you read them again? Out loud, so I can hear.” Sebastian doesn’t see why Ominis asks him to do so, but he reads through the notes, pulling faces every time he gets to a rather cheesy part of the note.
When he finishes, he looks to Ominis, hoping he can give him any sort of feedback to fix this mess.
Ominis stays quiet for a moment, thinking Merlin only knows what until he says, “You make me wish I was deaf as well.”
Sebastian’s hands slap against the table as he gives up, annoyed with his inability to string together simple words to tell you how he feels and annoyed with Ominis’ lack of help. “Forget this.” Sebastian grumbles, crumpling up as many of the letters as he can.
Ominis sighs and puts his hand across the table, covering some of the papers and getting Sebastian to stop. “Just talk to her. Tell her how you feel.”
Sebastian pulls a face at the recommendation. “Tell her how I feel?” He repeats, starting to pace in his spot. “You mean, just walk up to her and tell her how beautiful I think she is? Or how any time she smiles at me, you, Anne or anything really, I can’t help but stare? How she is most likely the smartest and kindest person I have ever met? How anytime she’s in the room, I am most certain my heart will beat out of my chest with how fast she makes it? How each time I see her leave the castle on her little adventures, I fight myself on whether to go with because I need to know that she makes it back safe to me? To us? You think I should just walk right up to Y/N and tell I am absolutely in love with her?”
There was silence between the two boys after Sebastian’s speech and the brunette boy, exhausted mentally, falls in his seat in a slump. Ominis just sat there, gripping his wand tight in his hand as his lips gently pull up to the left. “Well,” he whispers, getting Sebastian’s attention, who frowns upon seeing his smirk, “I don’t think you have to worry about it anymore.”
Sebastian’s brows furrow and he was about to ask Ominis what he meant before the sound of a book clattering to the ground behind him has him whipping his hand around and he opens his eyes wide. There you were, frozen in your place as you struggle to keep more books from falling off the shelves.
“Sorry.” You mumble, trying to determine if you really were hearing what you think you were hearing. “And uh, sorry, I didn’t mean to- I wasn’t trying to eavesdrop.
Sebastian nods at your reassurance. “How much did you hear?”
You wave your hand in the air. “Oh, well just, uh, just… everything.”
Well, that’s not what he wanted.
He turned to glare at Ominis, but the boy slipped out when you and Sebastian were focused on each other.
You glance down at the paper strewn across the table, ready to dismiss them before seeing your name on one of them. “What is that?”
Sebastian sighs, debating whether he could really show you his mess of notes. He nods, letting you fall into the seat next to him as you pick through the papers. You barely got through the first sentence of the very first letter before your eyes shoot to Sebastian’s.
“You.. you wrote me letters?” There was a deep blush on his face and he’d gone silent, but he nods. You stare at him, feeling your own cheeks heat up quite a bit before you turn back and read, picking a few sentences of each discarded letter. Your favorite ones were the ones Sebastian had scratched over with his quill, obviously being embarrassed of having written them, but you enjoyed them.
From the first moment we met, I knew there was something extraordinary about you.
I know what love is because I know you.
My darling, you are my rock, my confident, my ally, my friend, and so much more.
“Bash…” you mumble, blinking repeatedly to keep your tears from spilling out.
“I couldn’t find the right words.” He whispers, picking up a few of the letters and holding them. “I had Ominis try to help me, but I don’t think he was particularly helpful.” You chuckle, imagining Ominis trying to help Sebastian.
Your laugh fades out as you put your hands on top of Sebastian’s and your eyes meet. Your stomach flutters with nerves and adoration. “I think you know the right words.”
Sebastian smiles at you, the corners of his mouth tugging up just enough that his eyes crinkle and he nods. “Y/N,” he begins, looking to his letters for strength but he knows he doesn’t need it. “Y/N, I love you. I’m in love with you. I want to be with you and I want to go on adventures with you and I want to smile with you and I want, I just want you.” His hand cups your cheek, bringing you closer to him as your eyes flutter close and he whispers, one last time before your lips meet, “I love you.”

Nowhere Land
Fandom: Marvel
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x F!Reader
Summary: A handsome stranger comes into your workplace and makes you rethink your life choices.
A/N: Sebastian Stan, the man that you are...
Bucky Barnes Masterlist
Tumblr media
This what you wanted. Boring and plain. So tired of the hustle and bustle, the pressures from family, from society. This is why you decided to uproot your life and move to the small town of Chastity. A large portion of the population being people over the age of fifty. You're probably one of the youngest people in town until one of families of the residents comes through to visit.
You do see the appeal of the small town. Everyone knows everyone and they all give a sense of warm familiarity, but, of course, are weary of strangers.
It took them a few weeks to warm up to you when you first moved there.
Now, they treat you as one of their own.
_______________________________
You're wiping down a table when the bell above the door rings.
"Welcome, take any empty seat you'd like!" you holler before looking up at the new customer.
You freeze when your eyes fall upon a handsome man. He's donning a disheveled tuxedo. His hair looks like he ran his fingers through it a million times and he's donning a five o'clock shadow.
His piercing blue eyes stare back at yours and he nods, He proceeds to take a seat at the far, opposite end of the diner.
Lunch rush just ended and the other server working today, Adell, is taking a smoke break. So that means you have to take the man's order.
You stroll up to him, and hand him a menu, "Anything to drink?"
"A black coffee, please."
You nod and let the man peruse the menu. You go behind the counter, grabbing a mug, and pour the guy his coffee.
You come back, setting the mug down, "Need a few more minutes?"
"I'll just take the BLT with fries."
You scribble his order into your notepad and without looking up, you ask, "Did you wanna add a soup or salad with it for an extra five dollars?"
"Nah, I'm good, thanks." He hands you the menu, which you accept.
You pause, "Sorry, but I gotta ask...are you a runaway groom?"
The man looks at you wide-eyed and confused, "Huh?"
You shrug and gesture to his outfit, "Your suit is all disheveled and you look distressed, so I figured you were a runaway groom. Left his bride at the altar kind of deal?"
The man looks down at his outfit and snorts, "Guess it does look that way, huh? But, uh, no. Had to travel for, uh, work. Flight got cancelled and couldn't wait, so I'm just passing through for some rest."
You pout a little, "How boring. Shame. Would've made a great story to tell some of my usuals here."
The handsome man chuckles and softly smiles at you, "Sorry to disappoint." He holds out his hand, "I'm Bucky."
You take his hand and shake it, "Nice to meet you, Bucky. I'm Y/N. Hope you enjoy your short time in Chastity."
"Thanks," with that, you leave him to his cup of coffee.
______________________________
Adell's come back from her break and she immediately fans herself after getting a look at Bucky, "If only if I was a little younger..." she says which has you giggling.
"He says he's not a runaway groom, but he very much looks like one, dontcha think?"
"Well, if he needs a bride," Adell nudges at you jokingly before handing you Bucky's order.
You chuckle as you walk away to serve Bucky's meal, "Here ya go. Did you need anything else?"
"I'm good, thanks," he gives you a nod and you turn to head back behind the counter.
You and Adell continue to chat while Bucky eats. Occasionally, you'll glance at him in case he may need anything, but other than that, you let him be.
"You should ask him out for a drink or something," Adell suggests as you both sip your own cups of coffee, enjoying the lull in work.
You snort into your mug and shake your head, "Absolutely not. Guy like him is definitely already taken. Might as well not embarrass myself."
Adell lightly slaps your shoulder, "Oh come on! Doesn't hurt. The worst he can say is no! You're probably never going to see him again, so what's the harm?"
You sigh, "Maybe. We'll see."
You hear footsteps approaching so you turn. You give Bucky a soft smile, "Oh sorry! Did you need something?"
He slides his empty plate and cup to you, "I'm actually finished."
"No dessert?"
He chuckles, "Tempting, but no. I should really get some sleep before I have to head out early in the morning."
"Of course," you say in understanding.
He hands you some bills and mumbles, "Keep the change, and thanks."
"Thank you as well. Enjoy the rest of your short time in Chastity," you give him a small wave and watch as he exits the diner.
You hear Adell tsking behind you, "Chicken."
You laugh and shake your head while you put the money in the cash register and put the remaining change in your apron.
______________________
The sun is starting to set when your shift ends, the warmth going along with it.
You zip-up your hoodie to protect you from the chill as you head down the road towards the neighborhood of mobile homes where you reside.
As you're walking down the road, the setting sun casting a golden ray upon you, you hear a car roll by. You don't pay attention to it until it stops and reverses. It stops at you and the window rolls down, "You okay?" You see Bucky peering at you through the window. He's changed out of his suit. He now dons a black t-shirt that hugs his bice-wait. One of this arms is made out of metal?
"Y/N?" he says your name and asks again, "Are you okay? Do you need a ride?"
"Oh, uh, no. I'm good. I just live in that neighborhood there," you point to the mobile homes up ahead, "I always walk to work and from work when the weather permits." You continue your walk and Bucky follows in a slow roll.
"You sure? I'm headed in that direction anyway to the bar-"
"The Gold Anchor or The Garage?"
"Uh, Gold Anchor. Guy at the motel says it's the best of the two?"
You snort, "That guy was probably Travis and he doesn't know shit about which bar is the best because he only likes to drink lukewarm Coors."
Bucky's brows shoot up in surprise and he smirks amusement, "Soooo I shouldn't go to the Golden Anchor?" He occassionally glances at the road to make sure he won't hit anyone, even if he's going at such a slow pace.
"I've only lived here for almost two years, but I can safely say that The Garage is the better bar." You keep your eyes ahead to the path towards your neighborhood.
Bucky then stops the car, causing you to pause in your step. He leans over and opens the passenger door, "Come with me then."
It's your turn to look surprised, "Huh?"
He shrugs, "Come have a drink with me. I don't feel like drinking alone and I'll cover your drinks. Win-win situation."
You take a moment to weigh out your options. You either go home alone to eat leftovers and watch Netflix or go to a bar with this hot stranger.
"Alright. Why not?" you say with a shrug and you hop into his car, closing the door behind you.
_____________________________
"So you're not a local," Bucky states as he gives a nod of thanks to Luis, the bartender and owner of The Garage.
You shake your head after sipping your own drink, "Moved here two years ago. Was tired of living in the city, working a job I hated, dating a guy that didn't really love me, and hearing my family constantly badger me about settling down now."
Bucky whistles, "Yeah, that sounds like a lot. So out of all places, why here?"
"It's in the middle of nowhere. The only rush I need to deal with is lunch rush and even then, it's not overwhelming. I enjoy the close knit of this community. Everyone cares about each other, they look out for one another."
"And you enjoy your job?"
"It's easy and it pays the bills. Living here isn't super expensive either. And no one cares if you have the latest car or newest phone or trends. We're all just living life."
Bucky sighs and begins to stare at the perspiration on his beer bottle, "Sounds nice, actually. My job is a lot too, but I don't have the luxury to quit and move to Nowhere Land."
"Got a wife and family that depend on you?" you ask with a playful snort, but you're also trying to find out a little more about him.
He chuckles, "No, more like a clingy cat and an even clingier best friend."
You perk up at the mention of a cat, "What's your cat's name and do you have pictures?"
Bucky immediately pulls out his phone and opens his album which is mostly pictures of a white cat, "Here she is. That's Alpine. Found her as a kitten in an alley by my place. Couldn't leave her there so I took her in. Planned on bringing her to the shelter, but I instantly fell in love with her." He swipes through various photos of the white cat. Some of her sleeping, some of her chilling on his shoulder, and others of her on a motorcycle.
"She likes riding with you?"
Bucky beams with pride, "Loves it. I even got her her own goggles and helmet. I have a backpack for her to hang out in while I ride around."
"She's adorable. I want a pet, but not sure if I'm ready for that kind of commitment yet."
He nods in understanding, "Taking care of a pet can be a lot, but they provide a lot of comfort, love, and companionship."
"I'll get one eventually. Maybe soon."
You two fall into a comfortable silence. Music plays in the background from the jukebox. There's a lull of chatter among some of the patrons, but nothing that makes you want to eavesdrop.
So you direct your attention back to Bucky, "So what is that you exactly do?"
"I, uh, work for the government."
"So let me guess, everything is classified and you can't tell me a thing?"
"Yup."
"Do you know Captain America?"
He snorts, "I do, actually."
"Impressive."
Bucky clears his throat, "So you really don't know who I am?"
You slowly shake your head, "Nooo...should I? I mean, you kind of look familiar, but it's probably because I saw you in my dreams," you slip in that little pick up line and it causes Bucky to breakout into laughter.
"That was very impressive and very cute of you."
"Thanks, I try," you give him a nonchalant shrug, "But seriously, I don't think I know who you are. Are you going to tell me?"
He looks away and thinks for moment. He hums and then responds, "Nah. I don't think so."
"Well alright," you hold your drink up, "To anonymity."
"Cheers to that," Bucky says with a grin and clinks his glass against yours.
___________________
You two spend three hours at the bar, drinking and chatting. True to his word, Bucky covered your drinks, as well as the order of fries you ordered.
With more alcohol in your system, you were bold enough to invite him back to yours, but he declined.
He drove you back to yours and walked you to your door only to make sure you got inside safely.
You thanked him for the drinks and wished him well.
You fell asleep and dreamt of riding on a motorcycle with a white cat clinging to your shoulder. Your arms wrapped around a strong and handsome man.
If you couldn't see Bucky again, at least you could see him in your dreams.

My heart pounded in its confines within my chest as I stood in front of the mirror.
I had been waiting for this day since I was a little girl, like most women do when they grow up watching Disney movies or crappy romance movies, and now that day was here.
Everything was planned perfectly, complete with flowers, music, the perfect venue, it was all exactly how it was supposed to be. And yet I was still in a state of panic.
Gabi and Ashley stood either side of me as I stared into the mirror in front of me, questioning every moment that had led me to this moment.
Part of me thought that all of this was too good to be true. How on earth did the man waiting for me in the other room look at me and decide that he wanted to spend forever by my side?
It made no sense to me.
“Breathe, Y/N, once you get there and you see him standing there, you’ll be okay. It’s just nerves.” Gabi reassured me, but the thought of having to walk there all by myself was terrifying.
“We’ll be right there with you when you get there.” Ashley added, rubbing my beck gently.
That thought also did little to reassure the nerves settling in my stomach.
My mind flitted back to the night that Noah got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. My heart still raced just from the memory alone. It had been perfect.
That night had been perfect too.
We had retreated back down to our apartment, where Noah made love to me slowly until the sun rose, whispering sweet nothings and promises of happiness into my ear as he slowly thrust in and out of me.
I had hoped that our wedding night would resemble the same, but that thought terrified me at the same time.
Was I making a mistake?
The idea of spending the rest of my life with Noah was perfect. It made my heart race just from the thought alone.
But if the concept was so perfect, why did the thought make me nauseous with fear?
My breaths began to quicken the longer that I looked at myself in the mirror.
“Uh oh.” Gabi began. “Let’s not do that.” She cooed in a gentle voice, as if she were addressing a child.
She placed her hands on my shoulders and massaged them gently as she stood behind me, whilst Ashley ran out the hotel room door in a hurry.
“You’re okay.” She whispered, but it wasn’t helping.
I felt stupid standing there in my dress. I began to pull at it, aching to get it off of my body. I felt constricted.
As if she understood my silent cue, Gabi undid the zip at the back of my dress, letting it fall to my ankles and leaving me there in my underwear. She passed me the white silk robe that I had been wearing that morning as I got ready with my bridesmaids.
I shrugged the soft material over my body and sat down on the bed, sipping the glass of water Gabi had handed me.
I was aware of voices around me, but they didn’t register to me until two large hands made their way onto my thighs, squeezing them affectionately.
He was here.
The feeling of those hands on me calmed me almost instantaneously. It felt calming. He felt calming.
His scent of Dior Sauvage felt like home and this was one of the moments that I needed it most.
“You’re okay.” He  whispered, stroking my thighs in an attempt to ground me. “I’m here.”
I looked up only to be met by those deep chocolate eyes that I fell in love with all that time ago. Then it hit me, I would be looking into those beautiful eyes for the rest of my life. When I woke up, there they would be. When I went to sleep, they were the last thing I would see. I even dreamed about them.
Noah offered me a sense of solace by his presence alone. My breathing calmed and my heart slowed down to a calm, steady rhythm.
I could hear the faint sound of the hotel room door closing, signalling that Gabi had left, leaving myself and Noah alone.
“Look baby, I know it’s bad luck for me to see you before the ceremony, but I can’t help it.” He said, his voice just above a whisper.
“I’m such a mess.” I sighed.
“No you’re not. It’s a scary thing to do okay? I’m nervous too.” Noah reassured in a calm tone, that stupidly handsome smile plastered on his face.
“You are?” I asked, slightly surprised by my fiancée, soon to be husband’s, revelation. “Really?”
“Yeah. I don’t wanna talk in front of all those people.” He said with a laugh, making me giggle. “There’s that smile.”
I couldn’t help but blush at his words, he always knew exactly what to say.
“Me neither.” I confided with a sheepish grin.
“Then why don’t we talk here instead?” He suggested.
“But we need to do the ceremony out there.” I contradicted.
“I mean the scary parts. Saying I do is easy, but I’m not sure that I want to spill my heart out to you in front of so many people, baby.” Noah replied, a blush rising to his cheeks as he spoke.
“Oh.” I replied in a whisper as the realisation of what he meant crept into my mind. He didn’t want to do our vows in front of everyone.
“I want it to be private. Just us. No one else needs to know how I feel about my wife.” He smiled, bringing his large, tattooed hand up to cup my cheek as he spoke, wiping away a tear that I hadn’t realised had fallen.
I nodded, turning my head just enough to place a kiss on the palm of his hand.
He pulled a piece of folded paper out from his back pocket and unfolded it, suddenly seeming too shy to actually turn and meet my eyes.
Noah cleared his throat, sheepishly looking up at me before blushing and immediately turning away again, focusing entirely on the piece of paper that he held in his now trembling hands.
“Y/N.” He began. “You’re my everything, my rock, my shelter, my… fuck not again.” He said, choking up as his eyes welled with tears.
I giggled at his reference to the proposal.
“Let me try again.” He started, taking a deep breath. “Y/N. You’re my everything, my rock, my shelter, my home. You encompass everything that is good in my life, and you always have done. When I picture forever, the first thing that I think of is you in the kitchen of the home we will buy and spend forever in. A cup of coffee in your hand as you look out of the window into the trees of the forest we will live by. Your back is turned as you listen to the birds singing as I come up to you and wrap my arms around you, holding you close. We would start each morning like that until it is joined by a bump, and then some little feet running circles around us. That’s what I think of when I think of forever. Like it or not, you’re stuck with me. You have taught me that the future doesn’t have to be scary. It doesn’t have to be full of unknowns and unpredictability. I love you to the moon and to Saturn and I can’t wait to spend forever with you.”
By the time he was finished speaking, tears were streaming down my face.
“Your turn.” He whispered, folding the paper back up and sliding it into his back pocket.
I took a deep breath, steadying myself before I began to speak to the man in front of me.
“Noah.” I began in the same fashion that he had. “You’re an idiot.” He shot me a shocked and mock offended glance as I giggled at him. “You’re an idiot because you waited to obnoxiously long to tell me how you felt. Granted, I did too, but I prefer it when you get all the blame. Throughout our friendship, you were there for me no matter the conditions and no matter what I asked you to do for me. You spent months pretending to be my boyfriend, and I revelled in every moment. You were an amazing fake boyfriend, and an even better real one. I can only hope that you will make a great husband, and someday father, from this moment on. You are my rock and you always have been and always will be. Someone once said that they would wait for me at the bottom, and it looks like they did. Noah, I love you, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
We both sat there, just looking at each other as tears streamed down our faces.
“Good god, I cannot believe you quoted me in your vows.” He sighed, wiping tears from his face.
“It was a last minute addition. Matt said you would like it.” I giggled, wiping my own tears away.
“You asked Matt!” He exclaimed.
“He’s good at speeches.” I defended with a laugh.
We stayed like that for another moment or so until Gabi re-entered, informing us that the chapel was ready and that we needed to head there now.
Noah stood up, hugging me goodbye before leaving to had to the chapel.
The next time that I would see him would be when I was walking down the aisle towards him.
Gabi and Ashley helped be back into my dress, before leading me out to the car that waited for me outside to take me to the venue.
My nerves were gone.
I felt like a whole new person as I breathed with ease on the way to the chapel.
When I arrived there, everything was in a hurry since we had to push the ceremony back every so slightly. The doors opened and the music started.
Gabi took my left arm, and Ashley took my right.
They walked me slowly down the aisle as our family and friends all looked at me with awe on their faces.
My dress was fitted at the top, with thin straps holding it up. The dress was simple, except for the lace details scattered over the skirt, emulating flowers.
I looked ethereal.
Noah did too.
His suit was as black as night, making his tattoos pop. His eyes were watering once again as he looked right at me, as if there was nobody else in the room with us.
I took his hands, standing opposite him and gazing into his eyes as the officiant spoke. I’m pretty sure that neither of us were absorbing any of the words that was being said by the officiant until it was time to say “I do”, but even then, we were still just gazing into each other’s eyes without a care for our surroundings.
We walked back down the aisle and straight into the reception.
Drinks were flowing as everybody began dancing around us.
Towards the end of the night, the majority of the guests had begun to leave.
That’s when Noah grabbed my hand and pulled me back onto the dancefloor.
“My wife.” He whispered as he pulled me close, swaying to the soft and gentle music that was playing from the speakers.
“My husband.” I replied, slipping my hands behind his neck and drawing him close, touching our foreheads together as we swayed.
We stayed like that for what felt like forever, but it also felt like no time had passed at all. It was almost like we were in our own little bubble for a brief moment in time. It was just us. It was my entire world in one tiny bubble.
Noah’s image of the future had been on replay in my mind since he first said it. The prospect of moving somewhere like that made my heart flutter. Washington State was the perfect place for us to spend forever.
I could picture it, exactly how Noah had described it. Even that last part about having kids. It all sounded completely perfect in every sense of the word.
Noah was perfect.
He made everything perfect.
Our relationship may not have started out like that, but I could say with complete and total certainty that spending forever with Noah, as scary as it may have seemed, was the most perfect decision that I had ever made.

Nothing Ever After
Noah Sebastian x Reader x Vinny Mauro
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chapter Six
warnings: none? :)
even after rewriting this a few times i don't really like this chapter and i'm not too sure why... but its getting spicy in the next few parts so…
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
Once the two of you were in Vin’s room he sent a text to Bryan briefly explaining the situation, and letting him know that you were safe with him. He gave you a spare sweater to sleep in, and he turned around as you got changed to give you some privacy.
“I’ve never heard of this band before.” You say as you look in the mirror at yourself wearing his dead grandma sweater.
“Oh, uh,” his face flushed red, he was embarrassed to tell you the truth but he hoped you would forget by the time you were sober, “it’s actually not a band… it’s the name of my WoW guild.”
“Your what now?”
“It’s a game, world of warcraft-”
“Oh! Sorry I don’t speak nerd.” You said with a smirk as you got into his bed, “This is so cool though.”
“Thanks,” he said, getting undressed and leaving him in just his boxers. “I texted Bryan by the way to let you know you’re here with me tonight, I said Noah wasn’t picking up so you couldn't get into your room.”
“Shit I forgot about that! Thank you.” You said as he lied down next you, you couldn’t help but find yourself staring at him so you quickly rolled to your side, facing away from him. “We should get some sleep, you’ve gotta be up in 4 hours.”
“Shit, that’s true…” He says as he puts his phone down and you hear the light switch off. “Sweet dreams.”
“Goodnight Vinny.” You whispered before letting your eyes close.
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
You woke up suddenly to the sound of someone knocking banging on the door.
“Vin! Wake up everyone’s waiting for you!” You heard someone shout.
You rolled over and squinted at the brightness as you checked the time on your phone. 7:25?
“Vinny!” You gently shook him, taking in how soft his skin felt beneath your fingertips- Stop it y/n. “There’s someone here for you.”
He groaned, rolling on to his back as he rubbed his eyes.
What's the time?”
“It’s 7:25, you-”
“Shit!” He flew out of bed, beginning to get dressed when the door knocked again.
“This is why I told you it was a bad idea to go out la-” Vin opened the door, and you saw Rick stood on the other side, his camera in his arm with a coffee in his hand. “Finally, I- What’s y/n doing in your room? What the hell Vin! This better not be what it looks like-”
“No! She stayed here because she was locked out of her room! Look, I’ll be 5 minutes, okay? I’ll meet you guys by the bus.”
Ricky gave you a look, before looking back at Vinny.
“5 minutes, no later or you’ll have Chris to deal with.”
Vinny shut the door on him, turning back to you and shaking his head as he searched the room for where he’d left his shirt.
“I'm so sorry about that.” He said as he continued getting dressed.
“It’s okay.” You smiled, getting out of bed, “I better go and see if Noah’s awake yet to let me in.”
“Y’know, if you’re our photographer for the first couple days here, you should really come with us this morning. We’re doing an interview and I’m sure Chris would love to have some behind the s-”
“Vinny, I’d love to but I slept in last night's makeup and I’m about to walk back to my room in last night's clothes so I don’t think I’m ready to get to work just yet.”
"Well, you're lucky Rick didn't hear you say that."
Vinny turned around and dug through his suitcase for a moment before pulling out an old slipknot shirt, throwing it over to you.
“To replace the top I ruined last night. I’m still so sorry about that-”
“Don’t be!” You chuckled, “It’s honestly fine, Vin. But thank you. I’ll quickly get changed and then let myself out, it seems you have an interview to get to.” You smiled, to which he nodded, grabbing his phone and water bottle before heading to the door.
“I’ll see you later, before the show.” He said with a smile and a little wave before leaving.
As you got out of bed and walked to the bathroom, you couldn’t help but look at Vin’s belongings scattered across the room, laughing to yourself. You could've guessed he was a messy person, the complete opposite of Noah.
After getting dressed you left his room, heading towards yours and Noah's. You knocked on the door and quietly tried to call out to Noah, expecting him to still be asleep, but to your surprise was awake. As he opened the door he immediately began questioning you.
“What the hell? Where have you been? I woke up and you weren’t there and then I saw you tried to call me- Is that Vinny’s shirt?” Noah’s face suddenly turned pretty pale and you walked past him, into the room.
“We got back pretty late last night and I forgot the key and I didn’t want to wake you up. I tried calling you to wake you up but in the end Vin let me stay in his room, he texted Bryan to let him know so I just assumed he would’ve told you. Oh, and I’m wearing his shirt because he spilt my drink on mine last night.”
“Why couldn’t you have stayed with Bryan?” Noah questions, shutting the door and crossing his arms as he waits for your answer.
“Bry went back early with Folio and Ryan. Me and Vinny wanted to stay a bit longer,” you sighed, “Sorry, I guess.”
“No, it’s okay, don’t apologise… I didn’t know if you’d met Vinny before, that’s all. I wouldn’t want you being uncomfortable, staying with a stranger-”
“Noah. I’m an adult, I wouldn’t purposely put myself in a situation I’m not comfortable in. We met last night, but I trusted him and look, I’m fine, nothing happened!”
“I know, I just... I care about you, y/n." He said before quickly changing the subject, "Anyway, we’ve got a boring morning, I have some phone calls to make, then we’re going out for lunch. We’ve got to get back to the venue at 1 for sound check. How are you feeling about our first proper day on tour?” He smiled.
“Good,” you nodded, “I can’t wait to finally start, but before I do anything I need to take a shower.”
 ───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
You sat on the venue floor as Nicholas and Jolly tuned their guitars, Folio was having his drums put together and Noah was stressing with Matt over how the sound was coming out. Bryan was running up and down from the stage to the floor, demonstrating which angles you could take pictures from, and how to do it without getting in anyone's way.
You already got a few pictures of the guys setting up, and some of them on their way to the venue, but Noah reminded you that you were Motionless' photographer for the first few days so to focus more on them- but personally you thought he was only saying this because he didn't want his picture being taken.
"Hey y/n!" Rick gave you a smile as he passed you, he had clearly gone to get coffee, "All the guys are in the green room right now, I'd really appreciate it if you got some unflattering pictures of the guys so I have something to post on their birthdays."
"Okay, sure." You chuckled, getting up and waving to the Nicks and Jolly as you followed Ricky backstage.
"So... How are you feeling?" He asked, taking a sip from his cup.
"Great! I thought I'd be nervous but I think I'm too excited to even worry about anything."
"That's always a great attitude to have," he smiled, "Sorry about this morning by the way, assuming you and Vin..."
"It's okay," you said, focusing your eyes on the ground as you walked, "I can imagine what it looked like."
"He explained everything to me, it sounded like you guys had fun last night. Kind of made me wish I came too."
As you guys walked into the green room, you were greeted by Justin and Ryan. Justin was sat with his feet up on the table clearly taking a nap, whilst Ryan was playing a game on his phone.
“Hey, get one of me and Justin!” Ricky said, leaning onto Justin’s shoulder and holding up a peace sign as Justin snored, his mouth half open with his hat covering his eyes. You bring your camera up, smirking as you take a couple pictures.
“You guys look beautiful.” You say, setting your camera back down in front of you, and Justin's phone starts to ring, startling him as he wakes up.
“Just wait 'til you see us in our makeup,” Vinny says, walking in with a sprite in his hand, before turning to Justin. "Is that Shae? Tell her I said hi."
“Hey baby!” Justin grins, answering the facetime call, flipping Vinny off.
“Is that his wife?” You ask, and Ricky nods his head.
“So what camera have you got there?” Rick asks, and you hand it over to him, telling him all about it as he inspects it.
“I thought you didn’t 'speak nerd'?” Vinny smirks, watching how your face lit up as you told Rick about how this was the camera you’d always wanted, and what made it so different from the others you've previously had. Ricky furrowed his eyebrows as he looked between the two of you, and Vin just laughed when you didn’t have a comeback and sat beside his friend.
“I can’t wait to get out there tonight,” Vinny said, leaning back in his seat, his legs spreading slightly, causing your stomach to feel fuzzy, why were you suddenly feeling like this? “It’s been so long.”
“Don’t mess up this time though.” Ricky says, a slight smile on his lips as he’s still inspecting your camera.
“Oh yeah? Well don’t fall through the stage this time.” Vinny sasses back, and Rick went silent, handing your camera back to you.
“Look who’s here!” Chris grins as he walks a beautiful, heavily tattooed woman in to the room, and as you turn around you can’t help but notice how gorgeous she is! Then you realised who she was, she was Angela. You followed her on instagram when you found out she was the guys makeup artist, and you couldn’t believe how talented she was.
“Hey!” She smiles, wheeling something in behind her. “Oh you must be y/n! I’ve been dying to meet you!” She drops everything and runs to give you a hug.
“Hi! You’re Angela, right?”
“Yes! I make these guys look pretty to go out there and do their thing!” She says as she begins to tie her black hair up in a messy bun.
“Hey, Ang!” The guys all greeted her as she sat down beside you.
“I’m kinda late, I was hoping to get here about an hour ago but I should get you guys all done in time. How long until you’re on?”
“About 3 hours,” says Justin as he ends the call, “we’ve got plenty of time!”
“So who’s going first?” She says, getting everything set up on the table in front of her.
Ryan went first, then Ricky, then Chris and finally Vinny as Justin did his own stage makeup. Vinny insisted on putting his body paint on first, and you couldn’t believe what it all looked like in real life.
You couldn’t help but giggle as Angela tied his hair back in a little ponytail, and he spotted you in the corner of his eye and flipped you off.
“Please can I take a picture of this?” You asked, and whilst everyone else encouraged you, Vin was against it.
“I’d love that!” Angela gasped, “Could you take some for me? I’d love some more for my socials.”
“Don’t you fucking dare!” Vinny warned.
“Hey, I think your hair looks cute, I love your little ponytail.” You laughed, and he couldn't help but roll his eyes as you pointed the camera at him.
Once Angela had finished, you took pictures of all the guys’ makeup, and one full body shot of Chris, showing off the outfit he’d chosen for this tour.
“How are we feeling guys?!” Folio cheered as the Bad Omens guys all entered the room.
“Great, man! I can’t wait to go and fuck it up out there.” Vin says, fixing his hair as Ang takes the hairband out.
“You guys look amazing!” Nicholas says, looking rather stunned.
“You ready?” Noah’s voice startles you, feeling his hands on your shoulders as he stands behind you.
“I sure am.” You grin, tilting your head back to look up at him. “I’m still a little nervous though, I wasn't earlier but now it's actually real. I'm gonna be out there!”
“You’ll be great, y/n. Don’t forget it’s only the first night, and you’re here to learn anyway.”
“I know, I’ve already taken a few pictures this afternoon, and I got some of the guys in their makeup for Angela. So even if I don’t get any good ones out there I’ve got these.”
“That’s great!” He smiles, tucking a piece of your hair behind your ear.
“Guys we’re on in a minute!” Chris announces, and everyone starts to get up.
You can’t describe the atmosphere in this moment, everyone was so hyped and ready to get out there and put on the best show they could. You got a couple pictures from behind of the guys beginning to walk on stage, and then you watched them all take their places as the intro to meltdown played.
You couldn’t just choose one of the guys to watch, it was almost breath taking as they all did their thing and the crowd went crazy for it. However, you kept finding your eyes being drawn to Vinny. If you hadn’t found him attractive before, you definitely have now. He was so into the songs he played, you could tell he really loved what he did, and just watching him was breath taking.
You managed to get some pictures, you took a few of Justin and Ryan from the side, one of Ricky from behind, one of Chris from below and a couple of Vinny from various angles.
You were doing everything Bryan had told you about earlier, but you were still quite nervous to get in the way, or to be seen too visibly on stage which definitely held you back. But when it got to a certain bit in slaughterhouse, you had to get some close ups of Justin and Vinny, who looked too good on stage. You caught yourself biting your lip a couple times as you watched him, looking away and focusing your attention on one of the other guys instead, and snapping a picture or two or twelve.
But as soon as it all began, it was over. They played their last song, one you haven’t heard before, but you fell in love with it. As you heard Chris thank the crowd, and tell them 'we are Motionless in White, and we are eternally yours' you felt goosebumps run up your arms. You took a few pictures of the crowd from the barricade, before getting back on the stage and taking some of Chris.
You’d noticed that for half of the show, you’d been too caught up in watching each of the guys that you only took a handful of pictures of them each.
You got off stage and headed backstage before the guys as they stayed to give out guitar picks and setlists to the crowd, maybe also a drumstick or two. However, as you went back into the green room you were met with a hyped up Bad Omens but an anxious Noah.
“Is everything okay?” You asked, setting your camera down on the table and took out your ear plugs, watching as he bounced his leg up and down from his place on the couch.
“No,” he laughed, “We were having issues in soundcheck and I’m just worried it’s gonna fuck everything up tonight.”
“Well Motionless sounded great-”
“Well of course you’d say that.”
“What do you mean?” You furrowed your eyebrows.
“For one you're on stage with them, which will sound totally different to the crows, and you’re not listening out for any mistakes, anything that doesn’t sound the way it should.”
“Well-”
“Guys you’re on in 5!” One of the guys who worked at the venue called, to which Noah nodded his head.
“Give it your best, okay? They fucking love you and they’re happy to just be here. Everything will be okay.” You tell Noah with a smile, watching as the Nick’s and Jolly begin to walk out, followed by Bryan.
Once everyone had gone, Noah kissed your cheek before walking out the door and slipping on his ski mask.
“Awh! I didn’t know you guys were dating!” Angela beams, leaning forwards in her seat, making you jump out of your skin, “God, I’d do anything for a guy like Noah Sebastian-”
“We aren’t dating, actually...” You tell her, feeling yourself blush as you talk about it after he had just kissed you. “Look, I know we've only just met but right now I really need some advice, as a girl-”
“Honey, I’m all ears. What’s up?”
“Well, ever since I've met him I think I've kind of had feelings for Noah, but then last night I met-”
“Oh my pinky is fucked!” Vinny groaned, walking in with the guys, his makeup and body paint had worn off on stage and his hair looked messier than usual. “Y/n look!”
“Ew! No!” You turned away as he laughed, he then attempted to show Angela who had a similar reaction.
“What were you guys talking about? Looked pretty serious.” Ricky asks, running his fingers through his sweat drenched hair, he was also really pretty…
“Nothing to do with you.” Angela grinned, and he shrugged, walking off. “C’mon, I need to pee, the guys can’t follow us there.”
You followed her out, walking to the bathroom. Once you finally got there, you checked your hair in the mirror, realising it’s a mess after running around on stage, so you take it out of the ponytail and begin to redo it.
“Sorry about that,” Ang says, locking herself in a stall, “What were you saying, who did you meet? Tell me everything!”
You sighed before answering.
“This is between us, right? You won’t go and tell the guys anything?”
“Of course not!”
“Well, it’s Vinny...”
“Girl, I could’ve guessed that.” She laughed, coming to wash her hands. “Let me guess, he’s all flirty with you, makes you laugh and teases you, all that?”
“I know that’s just him but… I dunno, I never really feel like I’ve clicked with anyone the way I have with him, it doesn't feel like I only met him last night.”
“How long have you known Noah?” Angela asks, leaning against the counter
“Quite a while, but I haven't seen him in 3 years…”
“And you’re asking me for advice… Are you asking me who to choose or..?”
“I don’t really know, because you saw earlier when Noah kissed me on the cheek, the other day he called me ‘sweetheart’ and 'angel', but he can have such an attitude with me sometimes and we even had an argument yesterday. I just feel like he might not feel the same way. Vin just seems so much more chilled, things just feel more natural, I dunno. I really want to get to know him better first because he probably doesn’t even see me like that.”
“Well,” she smiled, “If you and Noah aren’t actually together then what’s stopping you? I should maybe also mention that you’re Vin’s type, if that helps.”
“Really?”
“I’ve known him quite a while now and you certainly fit his criteria,” she smirks, “I’d love to see him happy again.”
“Thanks, Ang.” You smiled, “But... I don’t know, what should I do?”
“It’s pretty difficult whilst you’re touring because nobody ever gets five minutes alone, but try and maybe spend the afternoon with him on an off day. Vin’s a sweetheart, but you might spend a day with him and find him insufferable.” She laughed, “But don’t worry, I won't say a word of this to any of them.”
“Thank you,” you say, “So are you with us for the entire tour?”
“Most days,” she says, leading you out of the bathroom and back to the green room, “I’m here all week but then I have to get back to New York for an event, but then I’ll join you again.”
“I can’t wait,” you smiled, “I didn’t have time to tell you earlier but I think you’re so fucking cool. I see your cosplays and makeup looks all the time on instagram, you’re so talented it's crazy!”
“Thank you! I need to check your account out, what's your name?” She asked, immediately opening instagram.
“There you guys are!” Chris waved you over to join them as the two of you came back to the green room, “Where were you?”
“We had to pee.” Angela said, sitting down on the couch, leaving a space in between her and Vin.
"We thought you got lost, we were going to send Rick out to find you." Vinny laughed, and for some reason all of a sudden you felt shy around him.
You sat down when Angela patted the spot she strategically left for you next to Vin, and as you sat down, he carefully placed a hand on your knee, causing you to freeze.
“Get any hot pictures of me?” He smirked, and you noticed Ricky’s eyes on you both.
“Maybe…”
“Can I see?”
“No, they need editing first! I’ll get that done tonight if I don’t fall asleep too quickly. But I can’t promise anything, I’m so tired.”
"Go back to the bus and have a nap," he smiled, "We won't be here too much longer."
“But it’s cold on the bus.” You complained, and he agreed.
You felt Vinny snake an arm around you, and pull you close so you rested your head on his shoulder. You caught Angela smirking at you from the corner of your eye, it would’ve gone noticed by the guys too if they weren’t watching a video Justin was showing them of a girl playing timebomb on the guitar, which seemed pretty impressive.
You let yourself shut your eyes, and before you knew it, you were asleep.

Sebastian Vettel x RBDesignEngingeer! Reader.
Set in 2013 during the GP, Jennifer is fresh out of uni and has made a name for herself within the F1 world. She joins Redbull-Renault as one of their engineer designers and easily fits into the team, forming friendships easily. Most of all, she captures the attention of three time world champion, Sebastian Vettel.
Part 7 omg time for some angst, let’s just say Sebastian doesn’t know how to handle his jealousy so well and it’s obvious when Jen has a conversation with his rival Lewis Hamilton… here’s the LINK to part 6.
Tumblr media
Hungary, July 2013.
“Look at you!” Sebastian face lit up as I laughed out loud, amused at the fact I was in his oversized Red Bull uniform. “You’re like a pint sized driver! I love it!” His eyes scanned me up as down as I couldn’t help but snicker. “Let me take a picture!” Sebastian pulled out his I phone, clicking several pictures of me. Others crowded around, amused at my outfit change. We were just having a bit of fun, even Christian and the bigger managers were finding it funny that I was practically drowned out in his jumpsuit. “She looks better than I do.” Seb then commented, standing up off the edge he was perched upon. “And I’m gonna steal her for myself.” He teased, wrapping both arms around my waist and lifting me off the floor. He practically took off as I held onto his shoulders, bouncing around.
Sebastian was giggling to himself, smiling and grinning wildly like a child who’d just stolen a handful of sweets from the shop. “Where are you taking me?” I asked I amusement, feeling him momentarily put me down and pick me up in a more bridal style manner the moment we got through the garage doors. “It’s a surprise.”
“Wow, so romantic.” I giggled as he smiled back to me, carrying me towards his car. “How do you get in?” “I’ll put you in.” He gently spoke, slipping my legs into the Red Bull as I felt a momentary feeling of horror that I was sat in something that costs millions. “I love it!” Sebastian clapped as I froze, holding my hands out. Gaining a burst of excitement, I started pretending to turn the wheel making car noises. Sebastian snapped more pictures of me as I giggled excitedly. I’d worked around these cars for years, never once had I actually been in one. “I think I could drive one of these.” I confidently nodded, Seb leaning against the car with a smirk. “Oh yeah?”
“Yeah.” “You need a helmet first.” Sebastian pointed out as I pretended to press on all the buttons. “Fuck the helmet. I won’t be crashing.”
“Of course…” He played along as I looked up to him with a smirk, playfully rolling my eyes. “I can’t even drive in the first place.” “You can’t?!” He exclaimed. “No, I failed my test twice then gave up when I went to uni.” I glanced around the car, slowly pushing myself out. “It’s a bit dangerous with nothing in front of you, no?” I pointed back to the front bit. “Maybe… that’s why we have our helmets.” He knocked on my head playfully. I sat back down, analysing the car. “What do you think we need?” He asked, resting his his chin on his palm, on the side of the car. “Something for protection, that won’t obstruct the view. I dunno, I don’t know how many people would like something there.” I looked back, watching him attempt to see the same thing I was. “Would it be safer?”
“Yes.” “Then I agree with you.” I stood up once again, allowing him to help me out as I thanked him softly. “Do you want to come out for a few drinks tonight?” “Yeah, sure, who’s going?” I began unzipping the suit seeing as I was growing a little warm in Sebastian’s jumpsuit. “Uh- I can ask around…” he slowly spoke, giving me a funny look. “Okay!” It wasn’t until after that conversation did I realise what he was asking me. Did he mean drinks just him and me? Did I ruin that? On my way out I was deep in thought, not looking where I was going when I thumped into somebody’s shoulder, my phone going flying across the floor. “Oh! I’m so sorry!” The stranger spoke, running over to pick up my phone. Except, it was no stranger, it was Lewis fucking Hamilton. My breath hitched, “no, no, I’m sorry, I should’ve been looking where I was going!” I exclaimed.
“That makes two of us then.” He handed my phone back over. “Thank you.” I awkwardly laughed. “You’re Jennifer, right? You work at-“ he pointed towards the Red Bull garages. “Red Bull, right?”
“Yeah, yeah, I do. It’s Lewis isn’t it?” I laughed, glancing back to see Sebastian looking over slightly. I offered him a quick smile before turning back to poor Lewis who I’d just barged into. “Yeah.” He laughed gently, showing me a row of his really white teeth. He definitely was a pretty boy.
“I was always a Mercedes fan growing fan growing up, don’t tell anybody.” I admitted. “Oh really?” Amusement lit up on his face. “Maybe you’ll have to come find a job in our garages.” He nodded back to the other one as I choked out a small laugh, surprised.
“Noo, I couldn’t do that.” He was smiling at me, in a way that seemed almost flirtatious, I couldn’t tell. “I’m just messing with you, it’s nice to meet you anyway, I’ll see you around.” He patted my arm. “You too.” I politely spoke before we moved back into our own directions. When I turned back up to the Red Bull garage, Sebastian had a frown on his face, as soon as he saw me look back he disappeared. Something about it didn’t sit right with me, but I continued making my way back to the hotel. I wasn’t sure why he looked so pissed off, or why exactly he was watching, I know Lewis was one of his biggest competitions, but we were just having a conversation? That evening I took all night to get ready, texting Loretta who had decided to come out for a couple drinks as well. I was walking around in my towel, taking breaks in between each makeup step. That’s when I noticed a door in between my hotel room and somebody else’s. Maybe nobody was in there? I curiously spun the lock, causing it to fling open. I gasped in a panic and it revealed no other than Sebastian laid on his bed watching TV. He had an immediate look of surprise on his face, not even moving as his eyes widened, taking in my towel cladded state. “Oh, hello.” He began laughing as nervous laughter racked through me. I love how he didn’t even question the fact I’d opened the door between our bedrooms.
“Hi- I got curious and started twisting it, I didn’t even realise it would open!” I quickly spoke as Sebastian shrugged. “I knew it was you, could hear you singing in the shower.” Great. “Oh- I’ll go now anyway, sorry.” “No, no it’s fine. Leave it open, I could do with the company.” “Company listening to me get ready for the next hour.” I teased as he smirked towards me. God, the way he was looking at me like he wanted to devour me. He nodded gently as I offered him another smile. “Okay. Fun.”
When I was ready he was wandering around my room, smelling my perfumes, watching the TV. “I saw you talking to Lewis earlier…” he pondered whilst looking through the several perfume bottles I had. Part of me thought he wasn’t actually interested in them, he just wanted to look occupied whilst bringing Lewis up. “Oh yeah?” I glanced back to him in the mirror whilst I topped up my lipgloss. “Mmmmh.” He hummed, smiling to himself. “I almost took him out, didn’t see him.” I giggled.
“He is quite… small I suppose.” I spluttered out a laugh. “What’s that supposed to mean?” I spun around, leaning against the dressing table with an amused smile.
“Nothing- you look beautiful.” He was quick to shake it off, the comment going straight to my cheeks that blushed a vibrant colour. “Thank you.” I giggled turning down to the floor. “Still, why is Lewis small?” I probed sensing he was feeling a little jealousy. “No reason.” Seb snickered, fixing his hair slightly in the mirror besides me. I made eye contact, smirking and glancing him up and down before spraying myself with 4 different perfumes. Excessive, but I couldn’t decide which one I preferred. Hannah and James knocked on my door, joining us as both Seb and I spilled out the room earning some weird looks. Nobody said anything but I knew exactly what they were thinking. The club was booming, the music was loud and the drinks were flowing too easily. I’d been drinking a lethal cocktail of alcohol, buzzing to be in the party atmosphere with all my friends.
“Was he flirting with you?” A voice questioned, I turned around to see Sebastian, placing a hand on his shoulder. “Who?” I spoke into his ear. “Lewis.” I playfully rolled my eyes, shaking my head.
“No, I don’t think so, why?!” “No reason.” He smirked. “You’re jealous.” With a bit of Dutch courage I poked his chest, “never.” Sebastian’s hand was grazing over my hip as I spoke to him, rubbing his shoulder. His head tilted to the side, smiling down to me with a knowing expression. “You are.” I firmed as it was his turn to roll his eyes. “No need to be jealous.” I shrugged, hand sliding off him. “No?” He asked. “No.” I firmed smiling back up to him. There was a singular second before I felt a hand on the back of my head, pushing both mine and Sebastian’s faces together. James. Way to ruin it! I sighed, taking myself back to the bar to retrieve another drink, stealing one more glimpse to Sebastian who was chatting a way to a bunch of mechanics. Maybe a little more alcohol would help me make a bolder move…

Meatball on the run
@voxophile sent me this idea and it was HYSTERICAL so I wrote a little drabble about it. I made myself laugh writing this one. Enjoy!
“Do you have Meatball?” Ominis asked, coming into the dining area.
“Um, no, I thought YOU had him.” Melody replied.
“I thought YOU had him!”
“Uh oh, mom and dad have lost their child!” Sebastian teased.
“Shut it!” Melody jumped up.
“If someone finds him and they don’t know he’s harmless, they might kill him! We have to find him!”
They all turned their heads as they heard screaming coming from the staff table.
Professor Garlick was screaming as Meatball slithered into her lap. Professor Ronen attempted to grab him with tongs and Meatball slithered down his legs. Ronen began jumping around on one foot, trying to shake him off. Meatball went flying and began slithering away and Professor Howin dove towards him.
Professor Sharp had just entered and saw the chaos and began running. He saw Meatball and his eyes widened. “NO! NO, IT’S OK! HE’S A PET!”
Ominis and Melody ran towards Meatball just as Professor Black was entering. Ominis heard Meatball gasp.
“HE’S THE BIGGEST SNAKE I’VE EVER SEEN!” He made a beeline for Professor Black who, upon seeing him, let out a blood curdling shriek and jumped into the arms of the closest person, which happened to be Madame Kogawa.
“MEATBALL NO!” Melody dove towards him but Meatball was zooming towards Black and Kogawa. Kogawa threw him off of her and bolted.
“FRIEND FRIEND FRIEND FRIEND FRIEND!” Meatball was enamored with the headmaster.
Black was still screaming as Meatball reached him, and slithered up around his neck.
“PHINEAS IT’S ALRIGHT, HES A PET!” Sharp screamed as Black rolled across the floor shrieking and trying to pry Meatball away from his neck.
Meatball, upon seeing the group of people rushing towards him, attempted to hide. Unfortunately the place he chose was inside the headmaster’s jacket.
Phineas’ screams went up an octave and Sharp ripped his jacket off. Meatball was terrified and disappeared once more.
“WHAT IS GOING ON?!” Professor Weasley screamed.
It looked like a renaissance painting. Black was on the floor in the fetal position, with Sharp kneeling beside him holding the torn jacket. The staff table had been flipped in the chaos, Garlick and Ronen had ended up covered in food. Madame Kogawa was standing on a chair, Melody and Ominis had slipped in the spilled food and were on the floor, and Sebastian was trying to help them up.
“SNAKE! THERE WAS A SNAKE!” Black screamed.
“It’s alright, he’s harmless! He’s a pet!” Melody explained.
His eyes snapped over to her. “YOU! Of course you’re involved in this! You’ve done nothing but cause trouble since you’ve gotten here! You are-“
“HE’S MINE!” Ominis shouted. “And as a direct descendant of Salazar Slytherin, I’m entitled to have a snake as my pet! YOU upset him! I should call my father, and-“
“No, no, Mr. Gaunt! My apologies! He startled me!” Black was backpedaling.
“Now you’ve frightened him and my beloved pet is missing!”
“My sincerest apologies Mr. Gaunt!”
Melody snorted beside him and Black glared at her.
“I’ll have you know Meatball wanted to meet you, he could tell you were a well-to-do Slytherin, and then you with your screaming and wailing scared him away! If my pet is not returned to me, I will-“
“We’ll find him right away, Mr. Gaunt! STAFF! FIND THE SNAKE! Find…Meatball?”
“Marinara. Meatball Marinara Gaunt.” Melody added.
“Right. We’ll find Meatball and return him to you at once.” He left the dining hall and Sharp stomped over and yanked Melody and Ominis off the ground with ease.
“Are you INSANE? Why would you let him do that?!”
“He escaped!” Melody protested. “We didn’t know where he was!”
“I did hear him say that he liked Black. He said he was the biggest snake he’d ever seen.” Ominis smiled.
“HA!” Melody laughed.
“ENOUGH!” Sharp shouted. “You’re lucky that Mr. Gaunt has an esteemed family or you’d both be expelled!”
“Ha, you sounded like a spoiled brat.” Melody laughed.
“How about a you’re welcome for saving your ass?!”
“Go. Find. The snake. NOW!” Sharp barked.
“I’ll go see if he went home.” Ominis said.
“I’ll check this floor.” Melody replied.
“I’ll check my underwear because I laughed so hard I may have pissed myself.” Sebastian snorted.
“I’ll check the dungeons. Now go.” Sharp demanded.
“Phineas, it’s alright, they said he’s harmless!” Matilda was attempting to calm Professor Black down in his office. “Everyone is looking for him, we’ll find him in no time. How about I fix you a relaxing cup of tea?”
“Thank you, Matilda.” Phineas sighed and sat down at his desk. He had an extreme fear of snakes. His heart was still racing. He rested his head in his hands and closed his eyes, breathing deeply.
Then a small tongue flicked across his hand.
Matilda dropped the teacup she was holding as Phineas let out a glass shattering scream. She sighed and cleaned it up. It was just another day at work.

Sam/Haley?
(Saley? 🤭)
Saley? Or Ham. LMAO
Hmmmmmmm this one. This one irks me. They sure would be pretty though.
I'm itching to put them in some kind of AU because my mind screams that they don’t make sense in their current context. There has to be an inciting factor like both working as camp counselors in a nearby town or going to college together or something. (Or… Scooby Doo AU? A little Fred/Daphne dynamic perhaps?)
Like maybe Haley has considered it, kinda liked the rogue skater, class clown thing Sam had going on. But she was always expected to be with the star athlete.
Ok wait maybe the inciting incident is Alex coming out as gay. That could work. Farmer shows up, we have an “oh no he’s HOT 😩” moment and Haley is left in the dust.
She’s pissed at first but then realizes she’s free. She can truly do whatever she wants. Who is going to care, now that the rumor mill is abuzz with Alex’s scandal?
She experiments with her fashion. Tries new hobbies. She goes to visit Emily at work and even gets a little tipsy and dances. And one Friday night she sees Sam there playing pool with Sebastian and she can’t help herself. He’s so fucking tall and edgy, it’s an exciting kind of intimidating. But Haley can be intimidating too, despite her size.
“Sebastian. Sam.” She greets them both with her arms crossed and an easy smile.
“Uh. Hi.” Sebastian is the first to respond, straightening up from where he was lining up a shot.
“In light of recent events I feel the need to ask if either of you are gay,” Haley starts.
“What?” Sebastian asks in disbelief.
“No,” Sam says immediately.
Haley meets his eyes with a predatory sort of smile. “Alright, prove it. Dance with me.”
Sam kind of chuckles and bites his lip, looking over at Sebastian. “Man I know we’re in the middle of something but…”
Sebastian rolls his eyes and points to Haley. “You, wait there two turns. If you still want him after I kick his ass you can have him for tonight.”
Haley chuckles. “Deal.”
It’s actually kind of torture, in a good way. She has a front row seat to watch his body move, his eyebrows furrow and tongue sticking out when he’s concentrating.
She doesn’t know much about pool, so she doesn’t care that Sebastian is right about kicking his ass. All she cares about is the man rounding the table to meet her, as Sebastian goes off to find Abby.
“Hi,” Sam says with a cheeky smile down at her. He isn’t shy, getting close and personal already.
“Hi,” she gives him her best flirty smile.
“Still up to dance with a loser?”
“Can’t really be considered a loser with the hottest girl in here on your arm.”
He chuckles at that, taking her hand to guide them to the dancefloor. She’s caught a bit off-guard by his forwardness but damn if it isn’t sexy as hell. And his hand is big 🫠
His hands move to her waist on the dancefloor and they sway with some distance between them to continue speaking.
“I don’t know how you can be so confident about that by the way," He says once their settled into a rhythm.
“Oh?”
“Yeah, I mean, just look at Pam. You’ve got some stiff competition.”
“Oh har-har very funny,” she rolls her eyes but fights a smile.
“Ooo tough crowd.”
“I’m tough to please.”
“I can imagine. But correct me if I’m wrong Princess, seems like you’re already sold on me.”
The sudden nickname almost gets her flustered. She decides to ignore it. Ignore it and definitely not file it away in her brain to obsess over later. “Not sold at all, that’s why I asked for a dance and not your hand in marriage.”
“I see. This is my test drive then?”
“You could call it that.”
“You look beautiful.”
It’s obviously a line. But it comes so suddenly that Haley does get flustered this time. “I know,” she blurts, and then, “thank you.”
His smile widens at her blush. “I’m serious, I like the new look. You seem more like yourself.”
“Myself? And how would you know?” she raises a perfect eyebrow at him as its his turn to get sheepish.
“Oh, well I just mean like, I don’t know. It suits you. You seem happier.”
She thinks about that, looking at his shirt instead of his eyes. She has been feeling happier. She sighs and leans into Sam, closing the distance between them to lay her head against his pounding chest. He stops swaying, surprised. She smiles at how fast his heart is going under his facade.
“I am happier, I think.”
DAMN OK I DONE GONE AN CONVINCED MYSELF LMAO these two are kinda fire ngl I think theyd both be sassy and flirty the banter is top tier

“Siren..”
Sirenbur x oc
Prologue
Waking up and stretching my arms way above my head, I throw the covers off my body over in the left direction. I get off my bed, stand up, and walk into my bathroom, rubbing my eyes as I look at myself in the mirror. “Can’t believe I’m still living in this shitty apartment..” I mutter to myself. I brush my teeth and comb out my midnight blue hair before walking back into my bedroom and over to my closet, getting out my work uniform and changing into it quickly. My work attire consisted of a short, tan pencil skirt and a white button-up which I normally pair with black heels and a long coat since Brighton is always cold. I grab my phone and purse, shove my phone into my purse, and walk out the door, making my way to the elevator. My neighbor, Wilbur, steps out of his apartment looking extremely tired. He’s wearing a black button-up with navy dress trousers that are paired with a coat and Doc Martens. ‘He looks nice today.’ I think to myself. “Hey, Wilbur,” I say as he stands beside me. “Oh, hello, Eliza. How have you been this week?” He asks as we both wait for the elevator which takes such a long time since we live on the top floor. “I’ve been good, how’ve you been?” I continue the conversation, trying to be polite. Wilbur has always seemed like such a strange character. He doesn’t talk to people unless he’s seen their faces many times and never under any circumstances lets anyone into his apartment. He freaks out when you ask! “I’ve uh- I’ve been okay.” He responds. Once the elevator finally gets to our floor and saves me from this awkward situation we both go on and Wilbur presses ‘L’. “So, uh- Eliza. You’ve never really told me where you work.” “Oh! I work at the police station, I’m a detective. Right now we’re trying to figure out what the hell Siren is planning.” I say a sigh of annoyance leaves my lips at the end of my sentence. “Y’know, maybe he’s just- taking a break?” “Well, I’m also kinda obsessed with Siren… I am just dying to know what he looks like under the mask!” I say as I imagine what he looks like under that damn mask. I get snapped out of my thoughts when I hear Wilbur’s soft giggles, I turn to look at him to be met with the softest, cutest face I have ever seen. Before I can say anything else I hear the ding which means we’ve made it to the lobby floor. Me and Wilbur walk out of the elevator and walk opposite ways since he parks in the parking garage and I walk to work. “Cya later, Will!” I shout as I walk backward, seeing him hold up the peace sign as he walks out into the parking garage. I walk out of my apartment complex and walk to work which is only a few minutes away. Once I arrive I prepare myself for the dickheads that are my colleagues before walking into the building. I walk in and go straight to my office, ignoring all the stairs that everyone is giving me. “Oh! Eliza, you finally decide to show up. You’re gonna have to work later tonight.” My boss, Sebastian says. “What! Why?!” I snap. I hate having to work late! “Because we need you to try and get more evidence.” “Evidence from where?! And for what? We only have one concern right now and that’s to find out what Siren is planning!” I yell. Sebastian only has one care in the world and that’s money. As long as he has money he’s fine. And that’s probably why I’m still living in my shitty-ass apartment. “Whatever. I still want you to work late. Hang out with Greg or something. I don’t care.” He says as he walks out of my office. I groan and close the door. He loves torturing me! Guess I better make the most of this.
11 p.m. rolls around way too fast. I only have to stay in this stupid office for what, two more hours? Sebastian told me before he left that I just had to stay until 1 a.m. Then I can leave. I pick up the tennis ball on my desk and throw it up, catching it in my left hand and doing the same, throwing it with one hand and catching it with the other. I do that for about 30 minutes before I get bored. I pull out my phone and turn on a movie. This should last until 1. And I was right. 1 a.m. rolls around at the end of the movie and I get up, putting my phone back in my purse and walking out of the building. As I’m about to walk past an alleyway I get pulled into it, a large hand slapping over my mouth. The person pins me to the brick wall, their hand still on my mouth. I look at the person in shock. ‘I-is that…’ “Siren..?” I whisper into his hand. The blue fabric that covers his eyes looks so perfect with his curly brown hair. I came to notice that he hasn’t shaved since there’s stubble on his chin and under his nose. He takes his hand away from my mouth, a smirk forming on his face. “Hello, little one.” He mutters. “W-what… What are you and the syndicate planning?” Is the first thing I say to him, it’s the only thing that comes to mind. “Oh, you’ll have to work for that answer, sweetheart.” He says. “W-what do you mean?” “I mean… work for me, sexually…” He whispers into my ear, his hot breath on my neck. A shiver runs down my spine. Why does he have to be so hot? I gulp, nodding hesitantly. “I mean, if you don’t want to, you don’t have to. I’m not gonna force you to do anything.” “N-no! I want to!” I shout out at him, immediately clamping a hand over my mouth out of pure embarrassment. “Good girl.” He whispers in my ear one last time before nipping at my neck.

Danganronpa Stardew Slaughter: Chapter 1 Deadly Life
https://archiveofourown.org/works/63745603/chapters/164193958
“KYAHHH!” The first thing Sophia did as she and the rest of the townspeople entered the farmhouse was scream as she set her eyes upon the body of Sam.
“O-Oh Yoba, n-no!” Penny practically begged as she laid eyes on the corpse.
The normally collected Maru fumbled her words too, everyone did at the sight of the corpse.
“H-How, how did this happen?” Emily mumbled, all of the colour draining from her face as she looked down at the body of Sam.
“Someone killed, ain’t that obvious?” Shane said, scorn clear in his voice, the asshole.
“Unfortunately, the man is right. Someone gave into their greed, their desire to go home and…” Elliott let out a deep sigh as he continued. “Murdered our poor friend, Sam,”
“He always seemed so cheerful, why would someone target him?” Leah asked, sounding queasy as she spoke.
Victor shook his head. “Reason doesn’t matter here, we’re gonna have to investigate this thing whether we like it or not,”
“I-I can’t believe it, though,” I finally spoke, still looking shocked at the body of my friend. “Who would- why would?”
Everyone looked just as shocked, even as they all spoke… but no one looked more terrified in that moment than Abigail, the normally energetic girl couldn’t even muster up the confidence to say a word.
“Some asshole went and killed Sam,” Alex grumbled.
“And now you assholes are gonna investigate it!” We all jumped as we turned around to see MonoMo cheering from behind us. “And then after that, you’ll all be going to trial… oh, I’m so relieved, I thought I was gonna have to pull out the big guns to get someone to do it,”
“You little shit!” Abigail shouted at the apple creature, earning a gasp from a couple fellow townsfolk. “I bet you killed him, you seem desperate enough to-”
“Nuh uh, that’d break the rules!” MonoMo pouted. “Speaking of rules, I have one extra to add. From this point forward, anyone who kills will get to take their family with them to escape!”
Everyone suddenly turned to either Emily or Sebastian, briefly, but everyone still did it.
“That’s right, it’s upgraded from motive to rule! So if you manage to catch this killer. Next time, you can get your beloved brother or sister in on your very own murder!”
“You… disgusting little-”
“Aaaanyways, have fun investigating!” MonoMo interrupted Abigail. “Bye bye!”
And with that he scampered his way out of the farmhouse, leaving us all alone in the dark house. The corpse of Sam was still at my feet…
Harvey was the first to break the silence. “…I suppose we should begin investigating,” He said grimly, his voice sounding tired and timid.
“We have a trial after this,” Victor gave a kurt nod as he turned off the sink. “We’ll… be able to avenge him by getting the killer right,”
“And we won’t all die,” Sebastian quirked an eyebrow. “I feel like we should consider that too,”
Haley shrugged. “Well, do your best I guess. I’ll go investigate outside,”
Some people seemed to agree with her sentiment and decided to leave the farmhouse. It was crowded anyway.
Only myself, Abigail, Harvey, Sebastian, and the body of Sam remained in the room…
I didn’t have time to waste, I needed to discover who did this. Not just so that I and the rest of the innocent people here could survive, but so that Sam could be avenged.
I need to reveal the truth!
INVESTIGATION: START!
My Monopad buzzed in my pocket, so I quickly pulled it out and checked whoever could be messaging me at this ungodly time… it wasn’t a message though. It was seemingly a case file of some kind…
IN ORDER TO ASSIST WITH YOUR INVESTIGATION, EVERYONE HAS BEEN GIVEN A MONOMO FILE! IT DISPLAYS ALL INFORMATION THAT DOESN’T SPOIL THE SURPRISE!
MONOMO FILE #1
VICTIM: SAMSON NELSON
TIME OF DEATH: 5:40 PM
CAUSE OF DEATH: DROWNING
Victim is Sam Nelson, he was drowned at 5:30 PM.
Cause of death and time of death, but no information about location, that’s probably something important. I keep note of that and put the Monopad back in my pocket.
+MONOMO FILE #1
Deciding to get the hard part out of the way first, I walk towards the body of Sam, take a deep breath and bend down to begin investigating.
“Ah, I don’t think you’ll be able to do that on your own,”
I let out a gasp of shock as Harvey speaks, the man shrinks a little. “I’m sorry,” I said. “You just startled me is all,”
Harvey nods. “Makes sense, once you’re done looking at the body yourself. I will attempt to do an autopsy on him, identify what his wounds could mean,”
I nod with a smile, though somewhat forced considering the situation. “That would be very helpful,”
“I think helpful is the best thing I can be right now,” Harvey nodded. He was right, I’d need all the help I could get to find this killer.
“Is there anything you can tell me right now?” I ask, Harvey bent down to feel the Sam’s chest.
“His ribs are broken,” Harvey said matter of factly as he stood up. “Near completely shattered, in fact,”
“Must’ve been hit with a lot of force,” I said.
Harvey gave a small nod. “Yes, though he could have also fallen. I’ll have a concrete theory once my autopsy is done,” I nodded as I continued to investigate Sam’s body with Harvey’s help.
+SAM’S BROKEN RIBS
The most notable thing about Sam’s body was his jacket, it was covered in greenery, soaked and practically torn to pieces, some kind of fight must have broken out between Sam and his killer, that’s all I think could have done it…
I looked around the farmhouse, and the place was barely even scratched minus the flooding from the sink, maybe the killer had time to clean up their mess? I didn’t know yet.
+SAM’S JACKET
+CLEAN FARMHOUSE
I elected to take one more thorough look at Sam’s body before leaving it to Harvey…
“What’s this?” I ask to myself, the Doctor looks down to see what I’m motioning to.
“Scratch marks,” Harvey confirms as he sees. “On the back of his neck,”
“I don’t want to imagine what caused those,” I shuddered as I stood up from Sam’s body. “I think I’ll leave the autopsy to you,”
Harvey nodded dutifully and crouched down to investigate the body himself…
Scratch marks, I guess that confirms some kind of struggle if the killer needed to do that, but why?
+SCRATCH MARKS ON SAM’S NECK
I next decided to walk over to the sink, this seems to be the only place where the killer could have drowned Sam. The MonoMo File hasn’t given a place of death, after all.
+OVERFLOWING SINK
Though, there was also something besides water bobbing in the sink…
“Hey, what’cha looking at-”
I let out another yelp as I was spooked for the second time today.
Abigail scratched the back of her head. “So sorry, I just uhh… wanted to help you investigate,”
I let out a breath. “That’s nice of you… I was looking at this scrap of paper in the sink is all,”
“Weird… I don’t think that was there before,” Abigail said, then shrugged. “Guess that means it’s important,”
I nod. “We’ll need to keep track of it,”
+PAPER IN SINK
“So, anything else in here?” Abigail asked.
“I suppose we should get our alibi straight. We were together when Sam had died,” I nodded.
Abigail nodded in return. “And Sam had decided to go into the farmhouse alone,”
“And Sebastian was exploring the south on his own,” I replied.
Abigail looked hesitant for a moment, before giving a nod… Sebastian’s alibi is shaky but…
I looked over to the man looking tired as ever in the corner… Sam is our friend, his friend. I know in my heart that Sebastian couldn’t have done It.
+SAM IN THE FARMHOUSE
+FARM GROUP ALIBIS
“That’s it here, I say we go interview everybody outside,” I said.
Abigail nods. “We’ll be able to get everyone’s alibis and stuff,”
As we walked towards the door, we were stopped by Harvey. I turned to greet the man.
“Ah, is your autopsy done?” I asked.
Harvey nodded. “Pretty much, the kind of broken rib he has is extremely common in cases where the victim is pushed against something,”
“So Sam had to be slammed against whatever he was drowned in?” Abigail shuddered. “Gives me the heebie jeeebies, but… I guess it’s good to know,”
“So there was likely some kind of fight, but why is the farmhouse so clean?” I ask as I look around. No one has an answer for me.
“They wouldn’t have had much time to clean it,” Harvey added. “We found the body at 6, Sam died at 5:40, that’s barely 10 minutes to clean up and leave in time to leave no trace,”
I nodded. “That’s right,”
+HARVEY’S AUTOPSY
With the last thing we needed to do in the farmhouse done, we waved the doctor goodbye and walked outside into the orange afternoon light. Pretty much everyone had gathered in the clearing around the farmhouse and was looking around. We had a lot of people to go through and not much time…
We stared with Emily and the rest of the group who were exploring the North, all of whom had gathered together near the edge of the forest. We greeted them, as I approached I noticed that Alex wasn’t wearing his jacket, his upper body was dressed in a white tank top… probably some weird, flexy thing, he’d do that.
“You here to ask about where we were?” Alex asked. “Cause I’ve answered that exact question like a hundred times,”
“There’s nothing wrong with being thorough…” Clint mumbled.
“Ugh, can’t we just wait for the trial to ask all this? We’re gonna all be together anyway,” Haley pouted.
Emily shook her head, then smiled. “Ignore them, Clint and I will answer any questions you have!”
“Hey!” Haley complained.
“Thank you,” I said. “Where were all of you when you were exploring the north?”
“Well, I looked around that path leading to the mountain. Clint, Haley and Alex elected to split up and search the rest individually,”
“I actually did see Emily at some point, she’s not lying…” Clint reassured with an awkward smile.
“Were you stalking my sister?” Haley asked with a teasing smirk, Clint practically jumped at the accusation.
“N-No!”
“I think he was, heh,” Alex let out a chuckle.
Emily stood defensively between Clint and her two other groupies. “Don’t be rude you two,”
“Yeah, Clint only seems kinda weird and unkempt. At least he’s not like Shane!” Abigail’s defense only seemed to make Clint look more bummed out by the second.
“Ugh, you take the fun out of everything,” Haley pouted. “I chilled out behind the abandoned building, no clue where Alex was, though,”
“The playground,” Alex said with a shrug. “I feel like that’d be a good place to hide something,”
“A bunch of sand and children’s rides?” Abigail snickered a bit. “Okay, sure,”
I didn’t really expect much less of Alex, he certainly wasn’t the brightest bulb in the bunch… I thanked Emily and co, even if Emily and Clint had been the only two helpful people there and moved on to the next group…
+EMILY’S ACCOUNT
+CLINT’S ACCOUNT
The group that had explored the town, consisting of: Penny, Maru, Victor and Sophia.
“H-Hi,” Penny greeted, still clearly shaken up from the situation at hand. “Did you want to ask us anything?”
“That’s why we’re here,” I confirmed. “Did you see anything unusual in the town,”
“We explored in groups of 2 slash 3: Penny, Harvey and Maru, Me and Sophia,” Victor explained. “We didn’t really see anything of note,”
“W-We didn’t even see anyone from the other groups,” Sophia added in her usual, stuttery and awkward manner. “I’m sorry if that doesn’t help,”
“It’s really fine,” Abigail said. “If anything, you’re helping by telling us that,”
“Every bit of information helps us solve this stupid murder,” Maru added. “We’ll all get through this if we work together,”
I agreed, I nodded to indicate this, but I also knew that the killer would also be at the trial. They wouldn’t be one to let us solve this.
We waved goodbye as we walked to the next person to interview, and the one I had honestly been dreading since I first saw him in the farmhouse after the body discovery announcement…
+TOWN GROUP ACCOUNT
“Hello Shane,” I greeted with a sigh, the man greeted me in return with an irritated sounding grunt. “We just wanted to ask where you were,”
“The ranch,” He answered simply. “I was alone though, so you probably don’t believe me,”
“Well now I don’t!” Abigail grumbled.
“Ah, but you should!” Elliott practically materialised from thin air as he sauntered on over to us, Leah following closely behind him. “Leah and I spent most of our time in the forest, and we didn’t see Shane leave his ranch once!”
“Yeah,” Leah nodded. “We didn’t move super far from the clearing, there wasn’t much worth exploring anyway, so we would’ve seen if Shane just up and left,”
“It’s not my ranch, it’s just where I sleep,” Shane made the distinction in an annoyed tone even though he didn’t have to. “But thank you, my innocence is confirmed,”
Abigail shrugged. “Probably, let’s go,”
I nodded as Abigail and I walked to the middle of the clearing… we had interviewed everyone we could, but it still felt like we were missing something.
+FOREST GROUP ACCOUNT
“Hey,” Abigail tapped me on the shoulder, snapping me out of my thoughts. “You see that on the overgrowth over there,”
I looked over to where Abigail had now begun pointing, the cut, but still long overgrowth between the Farmhouse and the North… there was…
“Fabric, blue fabric,” I said as Abigail and I walked towards the fabric stuck to one a particularly sharp piece of overgrowth.
“Weird, maybe… maybe someone went through here,” Abigail suggested. “We should explore the other side a little,”
I nodded as I made a mental note of the blue fabric. “Yeah, better to be thorough,”
+BLUE FABRIC
+SHARP OVERGROWTH
When we got there, we found something more surprising than anything.
“Is that blood?” Abigail asked as we laid eyes upon the blood stain on the rim of the fountain. “And scratchy looking marks…”
“Something happened here,” I said. “We should get-”

+MARKED FOUNTAIN
DING DONG BING BONG
“Attention everyone, investigation time is over. Head to the Mayoral Manor ASAP. Attendance of the town trial is mandatory and tardiness is punishable by execution!”
“Oh… guess we ran out of time,” Abigail let out a forlorn sigh. “I-I’m sure we have enough,”
“We do… we should,” I tried to reassure her, but I couldn’t deny that these weren’t good circumstances in the slightest… I made a mental note of any final details that could help in this trial, and headed for the Mayoral Manor in the middle of the town. The locked building in front of Penny’s Trailer
+KILLING GAME FAMILY RULE
---
Everyone else was already standing outside of the doors, part of me wanted Sam to show up, to reveal that this was all some kind of joke. That wouldn’t happen though, our friend was really dead, and one of us was the killer.
“I guess this is it,” Maru said, a deep sadness present in her voice.
“Ugh… this is making me queasy,” Sophia mumbled.
“I think we’re all afraid right now,” Penny sighed. “This is the first time this has happened to any of us,”
“I’m sure at least one of us have been to court before. We have an alcoholic among us,” Sebastian turned his shifty gaze to Shane, who glared at the programmer in response.
“You were in the same group as him, what’s that about?”
“That is pretty suspicious,” Haley said innocently as she stared down the programmer.
“Hey, let’s not go accusing anyone yet,” Emily stepped between the two.
Leah nodded. “Yeah, we haven’t even discussed any evidence yet,”
“Mere hours have passed, and we’re already at each other’s throats,” Elliott gave a sigh of disappointment through his smirking face. “I suppose it is natural though, that we tear one another apart?”
“Whatever man, I just wanna get this over with,” Alex rolled his eyes.
“If we cooperate we’ll be able to,” Victor said. “Though… the killer’s gonna try to stop that wherever they can,”
“That makes sense…” Clint mumbled. “I’m not suspicious of anyone right now though, too early for that,”
“Yes, we’ll need to be careful. Our lives ride on this,” Harvey added.
Emily let out a sigh of relief. “Thank you two, we all need to be reasonable here,”
“Ughh… this is gonna suck,” Abigail mumbled to me.
“It will, but… it’s something we need to do,” I whispered back, that seemed to calm her frayed nerves a little, just a little though.
The door to the manor soon opened slowly, revealing the inside to be a giant platform elevator.
“Guess this is actually it,” I said as I let out a deep breath… we all soon stepped inside…
WHIRRRRR
The inside of the elevator was dead silent… a suffocating, hellish silence that threatened to swallow of us whole until the elevator stopped rumbling.
We all stumbled into the trial room, uneasy and tense at the decadent room, decorated with 16 witness stands in a circle. The one reserved for Sam had a picture of him with an X over his face.
MonoMo sat from utop a throne at one end of the trial room. “Finally, you’re all ready for your first trial! Stand at your stands and we’ll begin!”
We all did as told, and I got the chance to really think about this…
This Trial, this situation. One of us was a killer hiding amongst 14 innocent people.
It’s up to me, and the rest of those innocent people to find out that killer.
Not just for our sakes, but for the sake of Sam, who had always been a friend to everyone here.
Someone took advantage of that to kill him, and that’s why I need to get to the bottom of this, to find the killer and make it out of this trial alive.
I need to reveal the truth.

Chapter 3
Tumblr media
Word Count: 1775
A/N: This one is a bit short, apologies //TW// abuse, strong language, violence, gore, etc. Also, the plot is going to be based on the manga!
You could tell that Ciel and yourself felt the same way about the idea of having to participate in a dance. His reaction was a visible twitch, yours being somewhat similar. Your reaction caused Mara to snicker. She knew that you had absolutely no dancing experience, she did. "I think it'll definitely be cuuuute!" Elizabeth squealed. "You can wear the clothes I picked for you!" She then went on some small tangent on how much of a dream would be to dance with Ciel. Ciel and Sebastian eventually headed up to the study as you and Mara went along to do other things. By that, you meant that you had nothing to do so you followed Mara around while she did her thing. After a while Mara left you, saying (suspiciously) that she had to go talk to Ciel. You shrugged it off, assuming it was something non-important, and just walked around to keep yourself busy. After a whole lot of doing nothing, Sebastian spontaneously appeared right behind you. This nearly made you shit bricks when you turned around to see him. "Jesus!" You exclaimed while preventing a heart attack. This made the butler chuckle, "Not quite." You stared at him momentarily, "Oh haha, I'm not sure if you've ever been made aware but you're hilarious man." You respond rather flatly. Sebastian merely smiled, "Of course, if I couldn't do that-" You cut him off, "Then what kind of a butler would you be right?" His brows raised in response but he still kept that stupid smile on his pretty face. As you looked at him you thought, 'Calm down, (Y/n) he isn't THAT attractive.... Damn it, I'm a liar, that's for sure.' "Lady (Y/n), did you hear me?" You hear Sebastian question, dragging you out of your thoughts as you look directly at the man plaguing them. "Uh...Yes...?" You say, not wanting him to think you were intentionally blocking him out. This elicits a sigh from the man as he stares down at you. "You weren't paying any sort of attention, were you?" "No.." You sigh. "I thought not, Lady Mara took it upon herself to inform me that you have no etiquette or experience when it comes to, as she referred to it, 'Victorian ball dance things.' As a Phantomhive servant, she felt that it was necessary for you to know how to at least dance.'" You, again, stared at the butler. "Nah, I'm okay. I'm a servant, no need to go to the ball."
"My lady, it wasn't a suggestion, I agree. To be a proper servant, especially one serving closely to the young master, you must know the simplicities of our era's celebration." This causes you to groan, "Dancing is not a 'simplicity', Sebastian, especially not when you're from my era. We don't normally have any sort of 'Ball' related things." "Precisely why I, myself, will be teaching you to dance." This made you panic internally considering that lately you'd been thinking more about how attractive the butler is. "Psh, I can figure it out myself." You laugh nervously, trying to back out of it, "I'll just be a wallflower, it's all good." Sebastian shook his head, muttering, "Just like the young master." He looked up at you, "Again, my lady, it wasn't a suggestion, now if you would follow me." He turned from you and began walking, leaving no room for any protests or arguments. You grumble and follow him; this leads you to walk into a ballroom of sorts. There was a record player off to the side. Sebastian walked over to it and turned it on, and soft music began to thrum from it. He approached you and held out a hand, "May I have this dance, My Lady?" He gave his signature smile. "I'm gonna stop you there, can you please stop calling me 'Lady (Y/n)' or 'My Lady', you make me feel old." He raised a brow at you, looking rather amused. "What would you prefer?" You hesitantly took his hand, you just knew you were going to trample this poor man's feet. "Just, (Y/n), none of that prim and proper stuff." "Of course, (Y/n)."
Returning back to the task at hand, you spoke, "Sebastian, I warn you; I lack any and all forms of grace. There is no way, even with your demon abilities, you will make it out unscathed," Sebastian chuckled in response while taking hold of your hand as he began to lead you, "I assure you; I will be fine." He raised a brow as you stepped on his foot, you were just now realizing how warm his hands actually were. For some reason, you expected a Twilight vampire effect, ice cold. You figured it was the whole 'demon' thing. Lost in your thoughts over the butler, you tripped over your own feet. Sebastian steadied you, making it seem as if it didn't even happen. "You're doing very well, (Y/n). I expected much worse due to Lady Mara's description of your abilities." Sebastian says while peering down at you. "Hey, come on, I'm pretty okay at most things." You laughed. After a few more minutes, the song ended and so did your dance. The two of you stepped away from each other, "Okay, that could have been much worse." You say while grinning. "I certainly agree. I've had to dance with far worse partners." You chuckle, "Is Ciel possibly one of them?" Sebastian smiled, slightly amused, "My, you are interesting." He avoided your question. "Ah, but you didn't say 'no.'" You say grinning. He merely smiled back at you before pulling out his pocket watch, "If you'll excuse me, I must go prepare the master for his fiancée's party. It will occur back in this room shortly. If you cannot find your way back, you may simply call, and I will come to assist you and lead you back."  With that, the butler took off. You decided to use this time to go check on Mara.
You manage to make your way back to the kitchen; you peek your head in to see Mara and Bard speaking to each other. Baldroy who seemingly saw your head pop in, set his focus on you and grinned. "'Ey, (Y/n), makin' it around alright?" This allows you to walk in without just disrupting their conversation. "Uh yeah, when you have a butler like Sebastian hovering, it sure is hard to get lost." You chuckle, approaching them. "Speaking of," You turn your eyes to Mara, narrowing them in the process, "Did you really have to tell Sebastian about my god-awful dancing skills?" She burst out laughing, calming down after a moment. "Well, think of it like revenge because you got to escape Lizzie's decorative wrath." You kept your eyes narrow. "How exactly is that my fault? Ciel literally made me leave with him and Sebastian." She simply shrugged in response. "Anyways, did he teach you how to dance?" She raised her eyebrows rather suggestively.
You huffed, "Not in the way you're obviously implying but yes, I destroyed his feet in the process."
"Wait he actually managed to get you to dance?" She questioned skeptically.  "Well, he didn't really give me a choice. I would've probably had more of an option if you hadn't made it sound like I had absolutely no talent whatsoever."  She shrugged, "You needed the assistance. Was it at least fun though?"
"I suppose it wasn't terrible." You admit. At this point, it was time for the three of you to make your way back to the ballroom, which Baldroy pointed out. If he hadn't, you wouldn't have made it on time and would have had to face the butler's wrath. Of course, as soon as you got there, Lizzie decided that she needed to dress the servants back up. Luckily she only managed to get through Bard, Finnie, and Tanaka while speaking of how excited she was. Before she could make it to Mey-Rin, Mara, or yourself Ciel had appeared at the top of the staircase followed by Sebastian.
Lizzie immediately rushed him. "You're so cuuuuute! My eyes weren't wrong!" After spinning the kid into oblivion, she gestured to the male servants, "Look! I've made everyone cute! I've let them come to the party too!" She grabbed his hand before looking down, "Huh? Ciel, where's the ring I prepared for you? There was a ring that matched the Western-style clothing, wasn't there?” She said, almost glaring at the boy. He huffed, “This ring is fine.” This led to Lizzie pretty well freaking out and demanding that he wear what she went through a lot of trouble to get. You would’ve liked to step in but you knew that would have poor results. But, knowing what was gonna happen, you began inching closer to the couple arguing. This elicited a brow raise from Sebastian and Mara staring at you, probably knowing what you were going to attempt. And wouldn’t you know it, she snatched the ring from the boy. This obviously pissed him off. “Give that back Elizabeth!” He practically growled. ”Why are you mad like that? I worked so hard…” She trailed off. Her brows furrowed, “I just made you cute so why are you mad? This ring…I hate it!” She exclaimed, throwing the ring. You quickly took off knowing that she was about to throw it. You dove for it and just barely managed to stop it from hitting the ground. Sighing in relief, you got up and shuffled away from the two. You watched Ciel raise his hand to smack Elizabeth before Sebastian spawned behind Ciel, placing his new cane into his hands. Sebastian then explained the importance of the ring. Ciel calmed down and declared that the ring wasn’t what made him a Phantomhive and propositioned Lizzie for a dance. Which she, of course, didn’t oppose. While they were dancing, you walked over to Sebastian and passed him the ring. “My, how generous of you stepping in to save the day like that.” He said amused. “We’ll, ya know, just doing my part around here.” You chuckle. “I’m my own version of ‘one hell of a butler.’ This caused Sebastian to smirk.
After everything was said and done, they had Lizzie sent home and you retired to your room and plopped onto your mattress. It had been such a long day. Yet, all you kept thinking about was the black-clad butler. This was seemingly going to be a problem. You sighed and decided it would just be best to go to sleep. So with that being said, you fell asleep to dreams of dancing and shattering rings.

Tumblr media
Pictured: Me, writing this liveblog late at night when I have work the next day.
Tumblr media
If you look down at the lower right corner, you’ll find the time and it’s nine past eleven? In the forenoon? Talk about a sleep-in!
Staying in the lower right corner, we also find what might be Luz’ handle on this universe’s equivalent of twitter or X or whatever it’s called. She’s called FriendofOwlsandTitans.
Moving over to the left part of the screen, we find a The Good Witch Azura fanfic. Pfft, only one? I’ve got like twenty unfinished fanfics lying around my computer, get on my level.
Luz is also a gamer, as she’s got the alternate universe version of Hollow Knight, something called Hades, which I’m sure is a reference to something, and Totally Original Farming Game Moonfarm Valley.
Say. who do you think is Luz’ favorite bachelor/bachelorette in Stardew Valley? Oh wait, silly question, it’s Abigail. Who’s her second favorite then? I’m thinking… maybe Sebastian?
Tumblr media
”Dear Diary. All I ever wanted was to be good at something. To be around people who also liked that something. And when I found the Demon Realm, I thought ’wow, I found it!’I can learn magic, I can be a witch! I won’t be the dummy in the principal’s office anymore.’ But I messed up too much a-and put everyone in danger.”
I-I’m sorry, I need a minute-
When I sat down, I was expecting to watch a sad cartoon child, not a reflection of myself. Did someone swap my computer screen for a mirror?
Shit… this hits a little too close to home for comfort, jeez Luise. ”All I ever wanted was to be good at something, to be around people who also liked that something.”  No, that’s not me, nu-uh. It ain’t me, it ain’t me.
And after I just got done plugging my fanfics too… bloody hell’s bells…
Insert that one ”I’m in this picture and I don’t like it” meme.
”So… I know what I have to do now.”
Wait, what are you talking about now Luz? Do what? Luz, what are you planning here? Tell me right this instance, young lady!
Tumblr media
And so does arrive the Spirit’s Eve. Check out the maze and see if you can find the Golden Pumpkin at the end!
Let’s see… I spy with my little eye… what looks like Jacob Hopkins (ugh) over by the round stage. Also by the round stage, but a wise distance away from the insane creep is what I think are the two guys Luz met in school. Next to them, sitting on the stairs of the big building are, um… decorations…? Either that or some of the shadow people from RWBY volume 1.
Next to one of the stands on the lower left side we find the principal from episode one, season one. It doesn't look like the snakebite had any lasting effects, that’s nice to see. Near the middle of the screen we find what looks like young Willy Wonka going trick-or-treating. By the hale bales next to the tractor we find someone who gives me Mickelina Räv vibes. Just throw on a yellow dress to complete the look.
Up on the tractor wagon itself we have what looks like Masha. And that could be the mom and daughter who got spooked by Philip earlier in the episode as well.
Finally, in the upper right corner of the street, we find Frybo talking to the steak from Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared 5. Now THERE is a cursed crossover idea.
Tumblr media
What kind monster truck car is Camila driving that the top of the wheels reach Luz’ waist?
And wait a minute! Go back a few seconds! Were all of the kids squeezed into the backseat? All five of them?
Amity exits first, followed by Willow, meaning Amity must’ve been sitting in Willow’s lap. Then comes Hunter, followed by Gus, meaning Hunter was sitting in Gus’ lap, which really should’ve been the other way around considering Hunter’s bigger than Gus. Either that, or Hunter got the middle seat to himself and Gus sat in Luz’ lap, since she exits last.
Why couldn’t one of the kids be sat in the front passenger seat? Couldn’t Hunter have used his Oldest Brother privilege to get the front seat?  That’s like on of the few nice privileges we have!
Also, I guess Vee didn’t come along. On one hand, staying at home instead of going to any form of activity involving a mass of people is super valid and cool. On the other, should the rotten mayonnaise of a man that is Philip rear his ugly head (or what constitutes a head in his current state), it might’ve been useful to have someone with the ability to drain magic.

Hellloo, straight to the point, an idea (a delusional one, yes) suddenly came to me. Can you imagine if Sebastian and Chris were challenged to flirt with each other (I imagine it in the CW press tour era) playfully (it sounds silly written down but with some celebrities it actually happens ok? But we don't have that much luck) and whoever flirts better wins some stupid paper trophy or something. And I just can't stop grinning because no matter how they would respond, it would be very interesting.
They would be either really miserable (because there's always been romantic tension) and being like "what about Mackie? Can we do that with him? Whoever wins against Mackie will get the trophy, maybe?" And Mackie is like "Nah-ah-uh man I'm comfortable the way things are, and how are you two gonna beat me? go on boys, [to the interviewer] have you guys got any popcorns around here?"
Or Mackie would just save their awkward asses because he's a great guy and a great friend.
Or, they would accept their fate and would be blushing hard before any word's been spoken. And about this part, it gets me so excited thinking about it that I don't even know what they'd say to each other, I would be interested in your ideas, Minnie 😉
I'm sorry this wasn't supposed to become that long, I wish I wasn't so horrible at writing, otherwise I would write this thing myself.
Oh god this was really silly. Thanks for reading honey, sorry again. I send you lots of love and wish you the best💙
NONNIE, I loooooove this!!! This idea is right up my street! 😍
It reminds me a bit of the premise of my fic Heat Wave actually, since Chris is also challenged to flirt with Seb in that one, and during the CW era too😉 So if you're interested in my ideas about how Chris might flirt with Sebastian, check out that little story! I think he'd just go a little alpha male and use his low voice and his muscles and cheeky smile to make Seb swoon! As for Sebastian, I almost can't even imagine how he'd act when challenged like this, because I feel like he'd crumble so hard when trying to flirt with Chris in a more obvious way 😂 I think his flirting game is stronger when he can be subtle and teasing (smiling cutely and biting his lip and laughing at Chris's jokes) than if he'd actually have to whip out the pick up lines and get in Chris's space and be bold and all that, but maybe I'm wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️
So yeah, my guess is Chris would definitely win this little challenge, sorry Sebastian..!
Also, I love Mackie's role in your scenario, that's so typically good bro Mackie, I love it. Of course he'd ask for popcorn lmao💙 Also, I don't think you're horrible at writing at all, nonnie! Why don't you give it a go? 😉 I'd love to read a full of fic of this! Thanks for sending me this idea, lovely!! I enjoyed it very much, sending you a big hug! 😘

Alina’s pov
Lizzie and I were hanging out in the kitchen since we didn't have class until later that evening. She was eating some ice cream from the freezer eyeing me with a smirk on her face. "So I have some questions and since you're literally a hybrid supernatural being I think you can answer some of them."
"Oh you do huh. Dare I ask why me and not my mom or your own?" I asked her to hoist myself up onto the kitchen island.
She stabbed her spoon into her ice cream cup. "Come on, Lina. Pretty please for me."
"Hmm….fine." I gave into the Gemini siphoner witches request seeing as I had nothing better to do and I enjoyed her company.
She sat her cup down near my side clasping her hands together blabbering off like this was her first crush or something. “Okay so I met this strange guy out in the Old Mill and he has this kind of old accent.”
“Like my dad?” I asked her.
She nodded in agreement talking again. “Kind of like the type that uses the term fancy or whatever. Anyway his name is Sebastian and I need your help figuring out what type of supernatural he is.”
“How do you think I would know anything about what he is?” Tilting my head at her I was confused.
Lizzie puts her hands on my knees meeting my gaze with a half serious expression on her face. “Because I need to know if he is stalking me to just have sex or is he stalking me because he likes me.”
"Why should I know anything like that, Lizzie." I spat at the blonde in front of me.
She rolled her eyes with an innocent chuckle like I was kidding. "Uh because you and Jackson have been married for almost five years now. So I assumed that you could pick up on a guys tell."
"No, Lizzie. That’s ridiculous." Shaking my head at her.
The Saltzman twin made a confused face. "So you’re telling me Jackson doesn't tell you that he wants to have sex with you?"
"He does. I just…I'm waiting until I'm ready." Avoiding her gaze I knew my cousin in front of me wasn't a virgian anymore.
Lizzie blinked her eyes and let the room fill with silence trying to find the right words but she had none for this type of situation. "So you’re telling me you're a virgin, Alina.."
"Yeah I am. Is that bad?' I questioned her.
She takes my hands in hers, sending me a kind smile knowing I was self conscious now. "No, cuz. It's totally fine. I just assumed because you're parents keep popping out kids that maybe you and Jackson would-"
"I don't want to hear about my parents and their sex life, Lizzie!" Slapping a hand over her mouth I cut the witch off feeling my face turning bright red at the thought.
She held her hands up in surrender backing away from me. “Chill out, werewitch. But it’s the truth and we both know it. I mean they're five kids….oh it’s time. Wish me luck. I have a date with Sebastian.” She glanced at the clock on the wall waving bye to me as she left the room.
“Bye Lizzie-beer.” I waved leaving the kitchen in search of my mother since she convinced me that this was something we should talk about. Standing outside the headmistress office I knocked stepping inside to see that it was just her meaning dad must have been off with Henrik playing some kind of game otherwise my dad would be in the room with her. “Hey mom, can I talk with you about something..kind of personal?”
She pushed aside her notebook of work, putting her hands on top of the desk. “Always honey. Shut the door and we can talk.”
“It’s about me and Jackson.” I shut the door sitting in one of the chairs she had in front of the desk. Tucking hair behind my ear I shifted my gaze up to meet hers after a minute of silence. “This is awkward to ask but ... .what made you decide to sleep with dad for the first time?”
My mother ran her fingers through her hair that she put in a messy ponytail. “Oh wow. If your father was here he would definitely be threatening Jackson’s life. Thankfully you just found me….I guess I’d say the moment I knew I was ready to lose my virginity to your father was the night that I knew I loved him. I had never been in love with anyone you see. But I couldn’t live physically and emotionally without your father. Once I had that feeling I knew he was the one forever and always.”
“So it’s not weird that Jack and I have been together for awhile and we are both virgins?” I questioned my heretic mother feeling better about the situation.
She reached across the desk taking my hands in hers smiling longingly at me. “Alina, the best advice I can give you is just to wait until you are completely sure you are ready. Yes you are already married but that doesn’t mean you have to jump into bed with Jackson so soon.”
“Thanks mom. I knew you’d have the answer.” Getting to my feet I hugged her quickly.
She shrugs her shoulders chuckling before I leave her to get back to work. “I may not have a thousand years under my belt like you’re father but I do know some things. Have fun, Lina.”
It was nightfall by the time I had worked up the courage to face Jackson in his dorm room. Even though mom’s advice helped I still felt nervous to have this type of conversation with him. We were still only young adults regardless of the ceremony to untie our werewolf sides together. “Jack, there is no easy way to say this so I’m just going to come out with it. Have you….do you want to sleep with me?”
“Woah Lina. I thought you weren’t ready for that kind of conversation.” He was sitting down on the bed with his arms behind his head while he laid down.
Running my hands down my shirt I felt more nervous than I already was when I came in here. "It's awkward, yes. But…I don’t know what to say."
"Listen to me, Lina. I know Mt mother said that this would have to be a real marriage in every way. But I don't want you to think that I'm rushing you into anything you've not comfortable with. You do understand that right?" Jackson came over taking my hands in his with a kind smile that suited him.
Squeezing his hands in mine I met his deep brown eyes, reaching up and brushing some of his curls from his eyes. "Jack, I care about you a lot. That much I know. In terms of our relationship I think I'm ready for this."
"I'm not pressuring you with this right, Alina?" Jack moved one hand to cradle my face where I lightly shook my head not about to kiss him until the door flung opened making us separate.
Missy entered the room holding up a necklace to me and Jackson. "Alina, you have to touch this thing I just found in the old abandoned room in the mansion. You won't believe it when you see what I saw." I slowly touched the necklace and I instantly saw a strange girl that had the same auburn hair as the Hope girl from Ethan’s school.
The Hope girl was moving a paintbrush across her page that was a blue ocean. She looked up at my mom and dad seeing they were watching her. "Mom says you like to paint too."
"I do, very much." Dad grinned brightly. He pulled the chair away, sitting down staring at her.
She looks at mom, placing a blank page in front of him. He picks up a paintbrush drawing something with orange. "Daddy, watch Invisique." Missy called his name, making him lift his gaze upward.
She disappeared from Alina's view when she took a hold of her orange gem necklace that I had given her. "What the - Missy that's cheating!"
"You did it last time." Missy became visible again before Alina could grab her light green gemstone necklace but I didn’t remember this Hope girl being around or ever call my parents like they were hers.
“I can’t believe you’re getting married, Alina. I’m the older sister. I’m supposed to go first.” Hope said pulling me in for a hug before I was getting ready for the wedding between me and Jackson. Missy wasn’t there because she was picking out the perfect flowers for me to carry so it was just the two of us alone talking.
Tucking hair behind my ear when we broke the embrace I smiled at my sister. “Yeah well at least I actually got to know Jack before we say I do. I just worry that this will make us separate now and everything.”
“Don’t ever think something like that, Lina.” Hope takes my hands in hers making me look her directly in the eye. “You’re my sister always and forever. We will always be there for one another.”
I trailed off still a little unsure. “Yeah but what if the universe wants to tear us apart?”
“It doesn’t matter if I have to scale hell and back. I will always be just a call away. I will always protect my sisters.” She vowed where I flung my arms around her, knowing that she truly meant what she said to me that evening.
One more memory appeared in my mind bringing up the time when Missy and I got in trouble with mom and dad. The Hope girl spoke up sitting down on the couch hitting her hands on her knees. “We knew it would take something big to bring you home.”
“So you had your little hybrid friend attack your cousin and her parents?” He scolded her like she was his child.
Hope rolled her eyes thinking that their plan was perfectly fine. “Henry just did the heavy lifting. And "attack" is a really strong word. They’re fine. In a really nice coffin, sleeping. Mom cloaked her in a sleeping spell for five years until I wrote a better one myself.”
“You're just gonna go disappear again if we tell you ... .and then mom will cut our communication with you all together like she did for almost two years until we did something about it.” Alina snarled, crossing her arms over her chest glaring at mom.
In these memories, I saw Hope in various situations and locations, ones that didn’t make sense to me at first but more just kept racing through my head until finally I drew my hand from the necklace, my mind was filled with questions. I turned to my twin sister who had a curious expression on her face, hoping she could provide some answers. “Missy, what the hell was that!”
“I’m not messing with you, sis. She’s really our older sister. I…I was just as confused as you are now. But then it’s all coming back to me. I remember Hope leaving us here with mom and dad while she went to save Landon. But now it makes sense why Alairc didn’t know who sent him the message that Landon needed him that night.” Missy rambled her words off a mile a minute throwing her hair around as she paced in front of me.
I felt tears starting to fall down my face letting my brain try and catch up with my emotions. Threading my fingers through the knots in my hair I couldn’t believe it almost. “Malivore made us forget about our own sister. There is no way in hell that we are letting her do something like that ever again.”
“I have a question. Who is this Hope girl you’re talking about exactly?” Jackson raised his hand out of one of the pockets on his red flannel shirt.
Before Missy or I could say any response to his questions we turned our heads at the sound of someone yelling through the upstairs dorms. And it sounded like it was coming from the Saltzman twins room. “Hope Andrea Mikaelson!”

Blaine Oneshot - Some Secrets are Worth Sharing
Requested?: No
Prompt: None
Type of oneshot: Fluff
Reader's Relations: None of importance
Warnings: None I can think of
Other notes: 1) You’re the principal of Dalton’s daughter. 2) You’ve been pretending to be a guy for a while. 3) Sebastian is in this, but i haven’t actually watched any of the episodes where he’s in (i’m only on like season 2) so he’s prob going to be ooc, but even then he only appears for like a minute, and you’re really good friends with him. 4) (M/n) means male name (cause you’re pretending to be a guy.) 5) Kurt doesn’t like Blaine in this (Kurt is my special lil bean and I don’t wanna make him sad)
-------------------------
“Can I ask you a question? Are you guys all gay?”
I let out a small chuckle at Kurt’s question, before taking a sip of the (insert drink) in front of me, as Blaine answered his question, “Uh, uh, no. I am, but no, these two have girlfriends.”
“I’m bisexual,” I spoke up, after swallowing the mouthful of (drink).
---------------------------BLAINE’S POV (After Kurt has transferred btw)
“Seb! Come back here! I told you to stop stealing my things!”
I turned around and got out of the way just in time so I didn’t get knocked over by Sebastian running, however, (M/n) did bump into me, “Sorry! I wasn’t looking where I was going. Sebastian stole my comb again and he won’t give it back, gotta run!” before he ran off chasing Sebastian again. Kurt helped me stand up and I thanked him, “Kurt, can I tell you something? I’m in love… with (M/n).”
“I’m happy for you Blaine, really! Just tell him!”
I shook my head, “I can’t.”
“Why?” Kurt asked, “It’s not like he’s straight or something.”
“It’s not that. It’s obvious he likes Sebastian, and I can tell Sebastian feels the same.”
“How do you know for certain? Because of the amount of time they hang out with each other? I’ll ask (M/n) if he likes anyone and try get him to tell me who, then you’ll have your answer.”
—-----------------------YOUR POV
“(M/n), question. Do you like Sebastian?”
“Well, yeah. Of course, I do! He’s my best friend.”
Kurt just let out a groan, “I mean romantically.”
“Oh… No, I don’t. Plus he’s gay anyway,” I replied, staring up at the clouds.
“But you’re a guy too…. Wait a minute, (M/n), are you a gi-”
“SHHHH! Fine, yes, just dont tell anyone.”
“How though? Dalton’s an all-boys school.”
“My dad’s the principal. To be honest with you, Kurt, I got bullied at my old school because I was bisexual. I begged my dad to let me come to Dalton because of the ‘No bullying’ policy and he did immediately say no, due to Dalton being an all-boys school, but I told him that I could pretend to be a guy. I would take cutting my hair and wearing a binder over being bullied any day of the week, so my dad agreed, and I’ve been going here ever since. You and Sebastian are the only two that know I’m a girl, that’s why Sebastian keeps stealing my stuff. I’d like to keep it that way if you don’t mind, so please don’t tell anyone! Please, I’m begging you.”
Kurt just gave me a hug, “I promise I won’t say a word.”
----------------------
“Where is it? Where are you, you stupid binder?!” These were some of the questions that were floating around my head as I searched my room, almost turning it upside down trying to find it. I eventually gave up and growled to myself as I buttoned up my Dalton blazer, fixing my hair in the mirror, “Well, I guess I’ll have to roast today,” I told myself as I looked out the window, seeing that the sun was shining brightly. I sighed and left my room heading to my first class of the day.
-----------------------
“Curse you, sun!” I growled, lying on my back, fanning myself with my hand, “Why does it have to be so hot?!”
I heard Blaine chuckling beside me, “Just take your blazer off, (M/n). We’re allowed to if it's this hot.”
“NO!” I exclaimed, swatting his hand away as he placed it on my shoulder, shocking him and Kurt, “I-I mean… I don’t want to get it dirty… So I’d rather keep it on.”
“Then just unbutton it.”
I shook my head, “No.”
“What are you hiding? (M/n), I know you’re hiding something from me… Tell me,” Blaine protested starting to poke me, knowing it got on my nerves. I rolled my eyes and mouthed to Kurt for him to help me. He smirked and just gave Blaine a nudge, pushing him into me, causing us to fall onto the grass. I felt my face heat up and I saw Blaine’s eyes widen when we realised where his hands were: on my chest.
“Y-you’re a girl?!”
I immediately pushed him off me and ran off, ignoring his shouts for me to come back, and ran back to my dorm room, shutting myself in.
A few minutes later, I heard a knock on the door of my dorm room, “(M/n)... You in there?”
“Go away!” I replied, “I know you hate me or not telling you-”
“I don’t,” I heard Blaine reply from the other side, “I want to talk to you. Please?” I sighed and stood up, opening the door, and letting Blaine inside. I encouraged him to sit next to me on my bed and spoke quickly, “Yes I am a girl, my real name is (Y/n), but you can’t tell anyone else, please. I’ve been pretending to be a boy cause I persuaded my dad, who is the principal, to let me come here because I was bullied for being bisexual at my old school, so when he let me come here, I cut my hair and started wearing a binder so I’d seem more like a boy. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, but my father didn’t want me to tell anyone.”
“Does anyone else know?”
I nodded, “Sebastian and Kurt. Sebastian because he walked in on me getting dressed once, and I’m sure the image still hasn’t left his brain, and Kurt because when I was telling him I didn’t have romantic feelings for Sebastian, I said “Plus he’s gay anyway”, and Kurt figured it out from that that I wasn’t a boy. I pro-”
I was cut off when he took my cheek in his hand, kissing me. I was shocked due to the fact that I’d thought he liked Kurt, but wrapped my arms around him, kissing back, something I’d wanted to do for ages. When we broke off, I spoke up, “B-but I thought you were gay.”
“I thought I was too. When I realised I was in love with you, I thought I was gay, but now, at least bisexual.”
“So, even though you know I’m a girl, your feelings haven’t changed?”
Blaine nodded and I smiled, “Does that mean I can kiss you again?”
He chuckled and nodded, kissing me again.

Note
#24 for the end-of-year book meme, please!
Did you DNF anything? Why?
I sure did! I read a lot and I try not to make myself finish things if I could be reading a book I'd like more. I'm bad at it and I'm also bad at tracking but here are the ones I did track/can remember
Under a cut because apparently I have more than I realized
Queen of Sorrow, by Sarah Beth Durst -- I was enjoying this trilogy well enough. Like nothing ground breaking but I was having a good time. And I thought I knew where it was going! The premise of the world was that humans and these like, nature spirits shared the world and some female humans had the ability to control the nature spirits and each land has a queen that controls the nature spirits of the whole land and it was framed in a way that the nature spirits needed the human queen to control them and in the first book we find that some of the spirits are way smarter than the protagonist knew was possible, so I thought oh, I know where this is going, in the last book we're going to find out that this White Man's Burden style subjugation is actually bad, but then I picked it up and that didn't seem to be where it was going and I talked to some folks who read it and apparently that doesn't get addressed??? So that felt icky so I gave up on it.
Octavia's Brood, this is a short story collection that marries the themes of Octavia Butler's work with the imaginations of social justice activists, which is a cool concept! Except I read the first two stories and both of them were ... not good. I was told there was one really good story in there but I gave it back to the friend who lent it to me without reading it so that was on me, but yeah, not for me.
Nudge, I was reading this and then it seemed uh, internally inconsistent with its argument and then I remembered the executive level coworker who recommended it to me got fired and then If Books Could Kill did an episode on it while I was reading it and I was like "Okay, I don't need to finish this"
The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making, by Catherynne M. Valente. I just wasn't vibing with it. It was good but idk, I think I read it too close to Seanan McGuire (writing as A. Deborah Baker) doing a very similar concept and I needed more space between them. I may pick it up again. some other time
Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett - oh my, okay. So. I know a lot of people adore this book, and I'm so happy for them and I wish I could be one of them. But the prose is excruciating and I say this as someone who loves flowery bullshit. I think my biggest problem with it is that it felt to me like it was supposed to read academic or even maybe bloviating academic, which makes sense! But instead it was overwrought in a way that did not match at all with Emily Wilde as a character. She is an old school anthropologist who is so focused on her work that she doesn't think to do anything to personalize her long-term-temporary home. This is her journal/field notes, I just cannot imagine her taking the time to describe the natural world around her in all that much detail, let alone describe the sky as a "cerulean canopy". If she were in the humanities, I'd be here for it, if she were especially extra as a person sure! But she is neither and I got mad about it.
Castles in Their Bones, by Laura Sebastian - Another book that I was having a perfectly fun time with, but I think I just didn't have patience for YA at the time and then my library loan lapsed and I didn't put any effort into getting it back.
The Terraformers, by Annalee Newitz. I am planning on picking this one up again! I have it on my list of books I am going to prioritize this year! But somehow again! Timing has conspired against me with finishing one of their books! This is the fourth time!!! I have started one of their books and through no fault of the book!!! I have failed to finish it!!!! :( I am going to break the pattern this year!!!!
How to Keep House While Drowning, by K C Davis. Listen I know this book helps a lot of people. It wasn't for me.
Stiff, by Mary Roach - loan lapsed, I'll pick it up again at some point maybe but I don't have any real plans to do so in the immediate future.
The School for Good Mothers, by Jessamine Chan. I heard good things about this book and I get why! But I am not like, invested in stories about parenthood, and the first bit of the book that I did read was rough (in a like, intentional way that was impressive from a craft perspective) and I wasn't able to get past that part.
Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone, by Benjamin Stevenson. I found this book boring, and I think that is entirely my fault. I am not a mystery reader and I got the vibe that this book was in conversation with the genre in a way that I just wasn't going to appreciate because I was missing all of it! I may pick it up again if I ever become more well versed in the genre or maybe I will try reading it with my ears some time.
The Soul of an Octopus, by Sy Montgomery - Montgomery started out the book framing how cool octopodes are through her own experience that was just so obnoxiously saccharine that, I, a person who already thinks cephalopods are cool as heck was rolling my eyes right out of my head. Another example of a book that's probably fine but just not for me
The Last Heir to Blackwood Library, by Hester Fox. I don't remember this book at all, it just had a cool concept and I felt like it kept falling short of how good it should have been.
Tesla, by Richard Munson - I would love to read a biography of Tesla but somehow all the ones I haven't really vibed with any of them. I mean I think biographies of dead genius men are frequently written in a way that is obnoxious. This one was the best of them so far but also my loan lapsed and I have not found my way to caring enough to check it out again.
And finally this is the year I discovered that most romance novels work for me for about 80-90% of the book but once we get to the third act breakup (annoying) or the resolution (even worse), I frequently cannot bring myself to care. And like, I read and finished romance novels I like! But I read 80-90% of probably half or slightly more of the romance novels I picked up. I do think this has to do with me being on the aromantic spectrum. I like romance, I just think that when we start to see the priorities of our protagonists change, the book loses me a little. And I think that's yet another example of not all art being for all people and that being okay.

san sebastian - syj
summary: you have a rly cute waiter who you find out to be eric from the boyz - based off of eric on the genius paik season 2 || warnings: none || genre: fluff || word count: approximately 1400
I walked down the street with my best friend, Sophie, just trying to take in the new environment. We had arrived in San Sebastián only two days before for our little vacation.
“How about there?” Sophie broke me out of my trance as I admired the area. She pointed to a Korean place.
I thought that it was interesting that there was a Korean place here. “Um.. yeah. Okay.” I nodded.
She smiled and headed towards the store. We both walked inside the restaurant which was more of an outdoor restaurant.
“Do we just-” Sophie stopped talking when we saw what seemed to be a worker walk out to us. “Hello.” She greeted him.
The guy, who I must admit, was pretty cute, walked over to us. “Hello.” He glanced over at me. “How many people?” He asked us, giving us a charismatic smile.
“Just us two.” Sophie answered him and I just nodded.
“Outside or inside?” He asked us.
Sophie glanced at me, “Um,” I glanced at her as well before looking at the worker, “Outside, please.” I told him.
“Sure. Follow me.” He tells us and we follow after him as he leads us to our seats.
He sits us down and puts two menus in front of us, “I'll be back to get your drink orders.” He tells us. “My name's Eric if you need anything.” He then says.
Sophie and I both nodded as we smiled and he smiled back before walking off.
Once he walked away, Sophie gave me a knowing look. I didn't even try to pretend like I didn't know why she was looking at me like that.
“He is so your type.” She teased.
“I know.” I blushed a little. “But, I mean.. this may sound weird.. but I swear he looks familiar.”
“Girl, we're in a whole different country, why would he look familiar?” Sophie asks me.
“I don't know.” I shrugged. “But, I swear I've seen him before.”
“He said his name was Eric. Do you know any Eric's?” Sophie asked me.
I thought for a moment, “No..” I said. I then got my phone out and clicked on Google. I sat there, staring at my screen as I thought for a moment, feeling a sudden burst of determination.
I repeated his name in my head, trying to think of where I might've known him from. I then found myself thinking about Eric from The Boyz. I giggled to myself, yeah, that definitely wasn't him.
Despite the fact that I knew it wasn't him, I decided to look him up either way, with no particular reason.
The page loaded and I was met with pictures of Eric from The Boyz. Oh my god. I scrolled through the images and I realized that this Eric was Eric from The Boyz.
“You guys know what you want to drink?” Someone said and I looked up from my drink to see Eric. I immediately shut my phone off and put it face down on the table. I suddenly felt even more nervous than I did before.
“Um, can I get coke?” Sophie asked Eric.
“Yeah.” He gave her a smile before looking over at me.
“Uh, I'll get coke too.” I say, hoping that the shakiness in my voice wasn't too evident.
“Sure,” Eric smiled down at me. “two cokes coming right up.” He said, still looking at me before he walked off to get our drinks.
As soon as he went inside, I immediately looked at my best friend. She looked confused for a moment but as soon as I got my phone, turned it on, and showed her my search she gasped.
“Oh my god.” She said with a wide smile.
“I know.” I said as I put my phone down on the table again.
“He totally thinks you're fine though.” She suddenly told me.
I blinked a few times, “No way. Do you know how many kpop idols he sees in his daily life? I'm nothing compared to them.”
Sophie rolled her eyes, “Maybe they're not his type.”
I was about to say something back but I immediately shut my mouth when I saw Eric walking over to us with our drinks.
“Your two cokes.” He said as he placed a coke in front of each of us. “Do you guys know what you want yet?” He then asked us.
I just then realized that I was too busy thirsting over this guy that I realistically had no chance with when the whole point of me being here was to eat.
“Not yet.” Sophie yells at him and I was amazed at how she was able to act so unfazed while I was over here struggling.
“No problem.” Eric tells us before he goes so that we could look at the menus.
Sophie and I both started looking at our menus. I was kind of distracted though as I tried to decide on what I wanted.
“Excuse me.” I heard Sophie call out and I looked up to see her looking at Eric who walked over to us. “I know what I want but I think she needs some help deciding.” Sophie suddenly tells Eric who looks over at me.
“Um, I- yeah.” I said as I looked up at him.
Eric comes over, “Mind if I look?” He asks me and I shyly nod as he leans down a little closer to me as I hold the menu up for him to see. “I mean, cheese bulgogi is pretty good.” Eric tells me, looking over at me, his distance remaining.
I can't bring myself to look away from him no matter how hot I could feel my cheeks getting, “Okay, I'll go with that then.” I tell him softly as he nods and stands up straight again. I put my menu on the table as he writes down what I want.
“I can take your guys’ menus.” He tells us and Sophie hands him her menu. He then looks over at me as I pick up my menu off the table and hand it to him. Eric then walks off with the menus and I shyly put my face in my hands.
“You're so obvious.” Sophie giggles. “He definitely liked it though.” She then says.
“No, he didn't.” I respond, my voice a little muffled.
“Yes, he did.” Sophie giggles. I removed my face from my hands, shocked that she could find this whole situation so amusing while I was here flustered and suffering.
Eventually, Eric came out with our food. He placed our dishes in front of the both of us along with our utensils.
“You guys need anything else?” He asks us.
“No, thank you.” Sophie tells him.
Eric glances over at me and I shyly shake my head. He nods, “Enjoy, guys.” He says before walking off.
After we finished eating, another waitress came over and gave us the check and took our dirty dishes from us. Sophie and I put our money in the little check book thing along with a tip.
Eric then came back and took the check book from us, “Have a good day.” He told us.
“You too.” Sophie and I both said back before he smiled at me and walked off.
Sophie and I walked outside of the restaurant and were about to head in the direction of our hotel when Sophie went, “Ah!” I looked over at her, wondering what was wrong. “I forgot something in the restaurant. I'll be right back.” She told me. I was unsure of what she forgot but I just told her to go back to get it as I waited out here for her, not wanting to go back inside with her just in case I saw Eric again.
After a few minutes, Sophie came out of the store with a look on her face that just made me know that she did something.
“What'd you do?: I suspiciously asked.
“I may or may not have given Eric your number.” She told me.
I gasped, “Sophie!”
“Hey! It doesn't hurt!” She said back. “I knew the both of you weren't going to do anything but I sensed the tension and decided to take matters into my own hands.” Sophie told me.
“He's never going to text me anyways so it doesn't even matter.” I said.
Later that night, I lie in the fluffy hotel bed, fresh out of the shower and in my pajamas. I was scrolling through my phone when a notification came up.
unknown hey it's eric
