Every time I read Fernando cursing in fic, I can only think about this clip and then my brain short-circuits

One of the most underrated and overlooked aspects of an entire episode. From the gorgeous astrology used, the paintings, that voice, and stunning character design. I've never gushed over such a small character.

i know s7 is effectively a chess board in which tim minear is moving all of his pieces right where he wants them so he can get Back To Business™ in s8 but oh what i would give right now for an episode a la stuck or pinned or future tense with 3-4 low stakes calls that all somehow tie in with the name of the ep and link thematically with the main characters' individual plot lines
#i LIKE s7 don't get me wrong this is not a criticism but everything is happening so much & 4 out of 8 eps so far have been about Big Things#instead of individual calls and it is wild for me to miss calls when my biggest gripe last season was spending *too much* time on calls#but i'm also like 'take me back to the s1-5 episode formula please' aksjdfhd#basically i just want more conversations in the back of the firetruck lol#911 related
