In the space of time Dean has known about Castiel, he’s seen him burn a woman’s eyes out of her skull, seen a room full of demons scared shitless of him, and tried to kill him with every weapon at his disposal and failed. And this is how he talks to him. I love him.

One of my biggest bugaboos about the later seasons is that the ‘evil’ mentorship plot set up between Kreese and Robby goes nowhere. Their relationship builds all across season 3, but in 4 (which is a personal favorite of mine btw—definitely a tonal sweet spot) Robby’s time at CK is mainly used to explore his relationship with Tory, give him an opportunity to be a mentor to someone else, and hype up the Terry/Daniel stuff for season 5. It’s fine, I like a lot of what his character got to do with Kenny and Tory that season, but it’s very different than what was set up in the previous one.

Quick update on why I threatened to blog my GXS3 re-watch and then never followed through:

Y'all, I'm so torn over whether to recap the episodes I watch in the [very easy] parody manner or if I want to deep-dive into all my over-analysis about an unpopular spin-off show about children's card games.

Needless to say, I still haven't made up my mind so have some EFFing ducks because apparently ducks are our noble steeds in the acid trip fever dream that is GX.
