Spoilers for FHJY Episode 9 again:

Yes I am desperately clinging to the rat grinders being normal jackass teens and the dead god being an unnamed goddess/nightmare king situation more than an evil world destroying force, but what if WHAT IF part of the reason they’re trying to bring the god back is because of the trick it pulled with the anti-revive spell on Lucy’s ribs. Which must also be what stopped her from going to the afterlife of her Goddess. What IF the only way to break the anti-revive spell is to make the dead god’s name knowable to mortals again, which can only happen if the god is brought back. The god possessed Lucy, it didn’t work, so it possessed her friends to kill her and trap her ghost in purgatory with a curse, a curse that can only be broken if the god is brought back. Because the Ratgrinders ARE actually friends and DO want Lucy back, the god knew this would force their hand and make them bring it back. Arthur Augfort clearly has NO problem straight up murdering innocent good people and trapping them in hell for the sake of bringing students back (Gorgug), so The Ratgrinders are fully justified in believing they won’t get kicked out of school and still get good grades and escape jail even with the murders for Lucy if whatever god their reviving doesn’t destroy the world. And obviously this god being ‘brought back’ is tied to Cassandra being brought back, so of COURSE Kristen and The Bad Kids would be on their radar.

kind of obsessed with the fact that in the sims 4 "the public woohoo incident" video on dapg you can clearly tell from dil's surprise appearance that him and evan have like barely any relationship 😭 personally i don't care deeply for dan and phil's incompetence playing the sims because they ultimately have crafted an engaging story and i don't really care whether or not they figured out that dil and evan are strangers in the game, but it is really funny either way.

Jessica DiCicco, voice of Flame Princess, on Finn and Flame Princess's relationship: Finn and Flame Princess started off with a bang, that's for sure. There was an immediate attraction, and they've had some very profound moments. Even if their relationship seemed rocky at times, they have been getting to know each other's flaws and imperfections, and building the foundation for what could potentially be an epic love story—The Notebook-style! Through their ups and downs, I think their feelings for each other were true and undeniable. It's possible they just need to grow as individuals for a little bit before they can become a strong, solid couple. We saw glimpses of their potential, and it's safe to say the seeds for a strong love story have been planted. OTP. I also think there's a way they could be together without Finn having to foil-burritofy himself. In "The Red Throne," we saw that her handmaid had poisoned Flame Princess, resulting in Finn being able to touch her without getting burned. I think this was foreshadowing that there could be a way Flame Princess can learn to manage her power, and ultimately be able to interact with others without burning them. I don't think Flame Princess has found the place she can call home, or at least the place where she's happiest and most comfortable. We've only seen her ruling the Fire Kingdom once, where she was poisoned by her handmaid, had to fight her father, then lock him up, not to mention how incredibly bored she looked sitting on the throne all day, Zombie-eyed… so I'm not sure if the Fire Kingdom is her final destination. After all, she did spend her whole life locked up in a lantern; it's possible that she needs to get out, go on adventures, explore the world, and to get to know herself. As far as things with Finn, timing is everything; maybe after they each get a little more life experience they can explore their relationship again. I don't think it's over between them—perhaps it's just begun.

On Flame Princess's development as a character: Having been locked up in a lantern for her whole life until only recently, Flame Princess is playing catch-up. She has never had the chance to interact with others, experience love, explore her own emotions, and just be a regular teen. With the help of Princess Bubblegum, she is starting to learn about her power, she's starting to pay attention to her fiery emotions, and is now aware of exploring her power to its full potential. This is an exciting time in Flame Princess's life—she is a strong, independent young lady who tries her best to do what she thinks is right. Nobody's perfect, she definitely has her issues, but she's doing her best and working with what she's got.

On being part of the Adventure Time production: The excitement surrounding Adventure Time is palpable, and it's incredible to be part of a show that has struck a chord with so many people. I especially love the show's unpredictability and the dynamic characters that call the Land of Ooo home. Working on this show is awesome.

aaaaarrrrggghhhhhhdjjfigjfi he was literally an angel of the lord who dragged a repressed homosexual man (!!!) out of hell and then fell in love with him (!!!!!!) and rebelled against heaven and committed literal genocide for him and furthermore helped kill THEE literal Abrahamic God with him ?!?!?! like what is not clicking…how can you watch this show and be normal…how are you immune to the cw’s supernatural…with banger lines like ‘you draped yourself in the flag of heaven, but ultimately, it was all about saving one human…’ and ‘when castiel first laid a hand on you in hell he was lost’ and ‘you came off the line with a crack in your chassis. you have never done what you were told’ and ‘the worst part was dean, trying so hard to be loyal, with every instinct telling him otherwise’ and ‘i cared about the whole world because of you…’ etc and so on and so forth…like how are you immune to the unbelievably depressing queer narrative spn writers unintentionally created while they were busy writing the worst show of all time…do you not yearn? we are not the same…they literally sent castiel to nothingness until the end of time all bc he was a little fruity and then dean was like ‘hmm i think im done living now bc i miss cas :-(‘ and died on a RUSTY NAIL after years of fighting literal angels and demons and dying and being brought back to life from literal HELL…while his straight boring whitebread brother lived a long and happy normal life with his wife and children…like what more could you possibly want from a tv show…hashtag love is only for the brave 🌈

Tomgreg week 2023 day 3: italicized ‘oh’ moment

 “I wasn’t there for the beginning of your relationship with Shiv, obviously, but I think the way things end is usually a good indicator of the way they started. And this ended with explosions and divorce and you getting locked out of your apartment.”

 “It was never easy with Shiv,” Tom confesses, swirling a circle on his plate with his fork.

 “See, that’s your problem? You were making it hard on yourself, you really shouldn’t talk to someone who doesn’t feel easy to be around.” Greg instructs, waving a french fry at Tom.

 “Someone easy to be around,” Tom repeats, letting out a heavy breath, staring at Greg.

 “Yeah,” Greg nods, and clears his throat, breaking eye contact to glance at the green light, the lace lamps, the plants on the brick walls, anything other than Tom, and the split-open way he’s watching Greg.

 Greg, in the wake of Tom’s divorce, feels upside down and inside out. Tom, here and unmarried in front of him, is sending Greg spinning out, tumbling over his feet and tripping over his words. Greg wants to reach across the table and smooth out Tom’s furrowed brow.

 He swallows hard and takes a sip of his tea.
