Buddie husband's at work please! Domestic things they'll say to eachother whilst they're working like asking eachother if they remembered to put milk on the shopping list because Chris wanted milkshakes for breakfast and they used it all up
Buck was laughing as he talked to Hen as he leaned against the truck. Eddie smiled as he glanced at his husband. He'd never get tired of seeing that smile or hearing that laugh. Both were contagious, there were so many nights in the Buckley-Diaz household that ended in the three of them laughing hysterically until their sides hurt. It was nice, Eddie and Christopher couldn't be happier. Though Buck needed to work on saying no more to Christopher...and Eddie needed to not cave into big blue puppy eyes.
Eddie walked over and placed a gentle hand on Buck's back causing the other to look over and smile that beautiful Buckley brand smile. "Hey."
"Hey, did you remember to put Milk on the list? I don't want to forget it when we stop by the store on the way home." Eddie mumbled to his husband, not missing the smile that crept onto Hens face as she busied herself with restocking.
"Yeah, I also put chocolate ice cream, bread and I'm pretty sure we're out of cinnamon so that's on it too." Buck replied as he looked over at Eddie.
"Y'know we wouldn't need chocolate ice cream if you knew how to tell him no." Eddie says matter factly as he moves to help Hen.
"Okay you have a point...but I also thought they sounded good. And you didn't complain about having one either." Buck stated as he stretched.
"What's goin on?" Hen asked intrigued, Eddie rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Buck here thought it was a good idea to have milkshakes for breakfast because Christopher wanted them... and apparently he did too." Eddie told her.
Hen paused what she was doing and looked at Eddie and then Buck before laughing loudly. "I wanna be surprised by this news but I can't say I am. Buckaroo you gotta put your foot down with kids, I know you're still a grown child yourself but you are a father now and that calls for tough love sometimes. You can be his pal, but be his dad first." Hen said as she pat Buck's arm and walked off as Eddie took over restocking.
"See, I told you."
"I know it's just...hard." Buck mumbled.
"I know it is but he won't be mad or anything if you tell him no Ev, he loves you so much. You're a great dad baby, you just... gotta learn to tell him no." Eddie said as he leaned forward and gave Buck a quick peck. Buck nodded a bit as he helped him finish loading everything up.
"Any idea what we're doing with him for spring break? I know we've got a few days off." Buck asked as they made their way upstairs.
"Figured we could go to the zoo one day? We always have fun. Not sure what else to do though, it'd be nice to find something new to do."
"What about that pottery place? Alpaca art, I checked it out the other day and it looks cool. Bunch of different things to pick out and then paint and just have fun." Buck said as he moved to the pinball machine. Eddie smiled as he watched him.
"Yeah that sounds great, you know he'd absolutely love it. I think it'll be a good family bonding thing to do. Could paint the first Buckley-Diaz piece in our home." At that Buck grinned broadly.
"Yeah? Well let's do it."
"C'mon guys not at work!" Chim said walking past.
"Haha very funny Chim." Buck rolled his eyes and Eddie laughed as he stole a kiss from his husband before the alarm sounded and they raced towards the truck.

I hope you like it! I definitely will be doing more soft domestic buddie in the future 💙🌟 thank you so much for sending this in

Prompt: Buck and Eddie sleeping together for the first time.
'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'
Eddie stands at the door way, worrying his bottom lip between his teeth and staring at the bed like it would bite him. He hears Buck down the hall behind him, brushing his teeth for bed.
For bed.
Buck and Eddie were going to sleep in the same bed, for the first time ever. They had just moved in together, upgraded Eddie's mattress to something newer and more comfortable, even a new bed spread.
"Hey, I thought you were gonna get comfortable?" Buck startles him out of his thoughts, placing his hands carefully on his hips. "You like the bed spread right? Its not bad or anything?" He asks, almost worried that Eddie might not enjoy the new, surprisingly soft, fabric.
"No, it's not that!" Eddie quickly reassures, quickly lowering his voice so he didn't wake Christopher. "Its just.. It's the first time we're sharing a bed.. Sl-sleeping together." Eddie stutters on the words, clearly nervous. Buck wraps his arms around Eddie's waist, pulling him against his chest and smiling into his neck.
"It is.." He whispers, kissing the junction between his neck and shoulder. "Are you okay? Do you want to talk about it?" He asks, voice tender and kind.
"No... No I'm okay with it... I'm just taking it all in." He whispers softly, relaxing into his chest. "Are you a big spoon or little spoon?" He asks, Buck still gently kissing across his neck.
"Oh, totally a little spoon, but I like being the big spoon too.. Do you want that?" Buck asks, standing straight and rubbing his back gently.
"Little spoon." Eddie says excitedly, eyes brightening.
"Well then get in bed." He teases, pulling the comforter and sheet back, letting Eddie crawl in as he switches off the bedroom light.
They didn't need to talk, Buck pulling Eddie against him with an arm around his waist, and one of his legs slipping between Eddie's. Soft kisses were exchanged, gentle I love yous exchanged, and soft breathing filled the room.
Eddie's mind had been racing. Full of thoughts on if he was too hot, if Buck was too hot. What if they couldn't get comfortable? What if Buck hogged the blanket?
But the thoughts ebbed away when the hand on his stomach rubbed in slow soothing circles.
"Your thinking too loud, baby. Relax and get some sleep." He encourages. Eddie was about to protest, but the hand rubbing his stomach felt so good, so did Buck holding him. He sighs, emptying his head of all worries, and letting himself drift off.
'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'
Buck woke to his quiet alarm, hand quickly finding it and shutting it off, before returning to Eddie's waist. He yawns, snuggling his face into Eddie's shoulder. He hadn't slept that well in so long, feeling actually well rested and relaxed. He smiles, kissing Eddie's shoulder and rolling onto his back to stretch. Eddie shifts next to him, rolling over toward him with eyes still closed. Buck looks at him fondly, stroking his thumb underneath Eddie's eyes. His heart felt even warmer, the beauty of his boyfriend blew him away. He leans forward and kisses his lips softly.
Eddie makes a soft noise, kissing him back gently and smiling into it. He had been hoping that Buck would do that.
When Buck pulls away, Eddie's eyes footer open, meeting those shining baby blues.
"Hey baby.. Did you sleep well?" He asks lovingly, hand returning to his stomach and rubbing.
"Wonderfully.. But I would be totally okay for a few more minutes.." He offers, pulling Buck closer and into another kiss.
"Daddy!!" Christopher calls from his bedroom. "Daddy its breakfast time!" The gentle clicks of his crutches become closer to the bedroom until the boy appears in the doorway. "Hii Buck!" Christopher hums, grinning wider. "Can you make breakfast today?" He asks, coming over to the bed and letting Buck pick him up.
"Hey, what's wrong with my breakfast?' Eddie protests, with fake indignation.
"Bucky makes pancakes." Christopher giggles, snuggling into Buck's chest. Buck laughs softly, sticking his tongue out at Eddie.
"Alright super man... Let's go get you ready and we'll get some breakfast in you." Eddie encourages, watching Christopher click his way out and back to his room. "Duty calls.." He chimed, but tone happy and fond.
"Indeed it does.." Buck kisses him again and stands up out of bed. "I'll start on breakfast. Pancakes sound pretty good about now, don't you think?"

Cold Fury
based off @whumpster-dumpster‘s prompt
Character A tilting character B’s chin up to get a better look at their face and the evidence of the fight. A delicately thumbs away the streak of blood by B’s mouth, saying nothing as they examine it. After a brief pause, B’s heart skips a nervous beat as A looks them dead in the eyes. Their voice quiet and tense, anger barely restrained, “Who did this to you?”
Buck and Eddie mirror each other in ways people don’t often see. Eddie burns with white-hot rage. And when Buck gets angry, well, it’s an ice-cold fury.
Also on Ao3
Eddie leans heavily on the door as he fumbles with his keys, trying to get hold of the right one. Eventually, after finding the right key he stumbles inside, toes off his shoes and drops his gym bag by the door calling to Carla that he’s home and apologising that he’s late. The voice that answers, however, was decidedly not Carla and he’s not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.
“Eddie? Man, where have you been? It’s been hours since your shifted fin—Jesus Christ are you okay!?” Buck’s voice was loud and quiet all at the same time.
Eddie winces at the words, from the sounds of it he probably looked as bad as he felt, and he felt like absolute shit. Buck appears in front of him, hands feathering over his face briefly before moving to his side, bringing a supportive arm behind his back as he guides him to sit at the dining room table.
He frowns, wondering why Buck was even here in the first place. It didn’t make any sense. The last they spoke was when they were arguing in the grocery store only a couple of days ago. Buck had made it crystal clear that he didn’t care about them. Obviously he didn’t care that in filing his lawsuit he had left Eddie unbalanced, teetering over the edge. Buck didn’t get just how much Eddie had begun to depend on him. So why, after everything, was he here now?
Eddie slumps against the back of the chair at a loss of what to think while Buck disappears into the bathroom to get the first aid kit, moving quietly as he does so to avoid waking Chris up. He sets the kit down gently next to Eddie and then moves to the kitchen to fill a bowl with warm water.
Buck sets the bowl down on the table next to the kit and moves to stand between Eddie’s legs as he moistens a towel before beginning to lightly dab at the crusted blood next to Eddie’s eye. Buck hasn’t said a word and it’s kind of scaring Eddie a little, He can be quiet but he’s never silent.
He won’t meet his eyes either, keeping his focus solely on what he’s doing. Eddie has always prided himself on his ability to read Buck's face, but right now, now he has no idea what Buck is thinking. The only indication he can see is a muscle tick as he clenches and unclenches his jaw.
Buck tilts Eddie’s chin up into the light to get a better look at his face and the evidence of the fight. Delicately, he wipes his thumb over a streak of blood by Eddie’s mouth but continues to say nothing as he examines it.
After a brief pause, Eddie’s heart skips a nervous beat as Buck finally looks him dead in the eye as he holds Eddie’s jaw steady. His voice is quiet and tense, anger barely restrained as he speaks, “Who did this to you?”
Eddie widens his eyes at the deathly cold expression on Buck’s face and shies away from his touch in shame and guilt, avoiding his intense gaze by staring down at the bowl of now pink water.
Unwillingly the answer comes unbidden to his lips and escapes out in a whisper, “I did.”
The anger is quickly replaced by concern as Buck crouches down while cupping Eddie’s face gently guiding him to look him in the eyes, “What?” Buck searches Eddie’s eyes for an answer, “What do you mean?”
Tears pool in his eyes as Eddie looks down at Buck, confused why all of a sudden Buck cared enough to look after him. And seeing Buck’s troubled expression, he can’t bring himself to lie.
“I did this to myself.”
“Eddie, I don’t understand. What does that even mean?”
“It means that I’ve been street fighting. And tonight,” Eddie gestures to his face and body, “tonight I lost. Badly.”
Buck releases his chin in surprise at Eddie’s answer, before standing up quickly and moving away from Eddie in one swift motion. Eddie flinches at the movement, taken aback at how quickly Buck goes from being concerned to furious.
“You, WHAT!?” It's spoken in a harsh whisper, but Eddie could still hear the fury. “Eddie, how could you be so stupid?”
The rage that always now seems to be simmering in the back of his mind rears its ugly head. He stands up quickly, his pain temporarily forgotten as he keeps his voice low and venomous, “How could I be so stupid? What gives you the right to judge me? You gave that up when you filed the lawsuit.”
Buck stares him down with a glare, “Seriously? The lawsuit. Come on, it’s clearly not just about that. You’re never this reckless.”
He runs an aggressive hand through his hair and takes a step closer to Eddie, “Jesus man, you have a son. What happens to Christopher if you get arrested again? Or if you end up in the hospital from a bad fight? At any time did you stop to think about what could happen?”
Eddie doesn’t have an answer. He watches as Buck starts pacing, clearly fuming before he stops and moves towards the door, lifting his jacket from the hook with his back still to Eddie.
“Where are you going?”
Buck pauses but doesn’t turn around, “Home. Clearly you don’t need me here.”
“Buck wait.” Eddie moves quickly and catches Buck’s arm, stalling from going any further.
Buck whips around, snatching his arm out of Eddie’s grasp. “What Eddie? What could you possibly say that makes all of this okay?”
“I just… I don’t know how to explain it.”
Buck drops his shoulders and looks at him imploringly, “Just talk to me, Eddie. Even if it is to say that you’re still mad at me.”
Eddie, once again feeling the pain in his ribs that he’d been ignoring until now, holds them gingerly as he moves to sit back down in the chair. Buck follows him and turns the chair next to him, so they could sit face to face.
Not sure where else to look, Eddie lets his gaze drift to his hands, inspecting the crusted broken skin of his knuckles as he speaks. “I’m not- I’m not mad at you. I was never actually mad at you.”
Buck scoffs, “Could’ve fooled me.”
“I was just so angry about the situation. You used to be there all the time and then out of nowhere I wasn’t allowed to talk to you? It felt like Shannon all over again, she became part of my life and then she was gone.”
Buck hums and picks up the discarded towel before gently taking Eddie’s hand in his and starts wiping away at the blood on his knuckles.
“There’s just this rage that’s been building inside me…Bosko was the one to introduce me to street fighting, to give me an outlet for all this anger. And well, now I can’t seem to stop. The anger just never seems to go away.” He peers up at Buck, afraid of what he might think.
Buck pauses in his ministrations and puts the towel back on the table before sighing and taking both of Eddie’s hands in his. He looks into Eddie’s eyes without any of the anger or disappointment that Eddie was expecting.
“Eddie, no more street fighting, I’ll be your outlet. From now on, we are going to the gym and you can fight to your heart’s content against me in the ring. Anytime that you feel the need to let it all out, I’ll be there.”
Eddie pulls his hands from Bucks grasp. “What? No Buck. I’m not going to fight you. You’re on blood thinners.”
Buck shakes his head and shrugs, “Doesn’t matter. If you hurt me badly, then you can take me to the hospital yourself. Eds, as long as it stops you from fighting out on the street, I’ll do it.”
Eddie furrows his brow in confusion. “How’s that going to work? I’m not even supposed to be talking to you right now let alone us going to the gym together. You shouldn’t even be here.”
“Eddie, I dropped the lawsuit,” Buck says lowly, breaking eye contact.
“What?!”
He rubs the back of his neck, “Yeah, after our fight in the supermarket I went to the lawyer and told him to drop it. You were right, I- I didn’t think and I didn’t know how much it was affecting you and- and Christopher.”
“You did that for us?”
“Of course I did. I mean sure, I was mad a Bobby for not letting me back. The whole purpose of it was to get back to the team, to my family, but not at the expense of hurting you guys. What would be the point if I lost you all in the process.”
Eddie sits there for a moment, processing this new information before grabbing hold of Buck’s hands and pulling him into a hug. It’s awkward from the way they were sitting but he didn’t care at this moment, he was just glad to have Buck back here with him.
Buck tenses for a moment before melting into Eddie and wrapping his own arms around him. He’s missed this, god he’s missed this so much.
They stay like that for longer than it's considered normal for most people, but between them it is normal and they were going to savour it.
Eventually, Buck leans back breaking the hug and Eddie is surprised to mourn the loss of his embrace, not yet understanding what his body is telling him.
Buck clears his throat, “Uh, so…we have a lot to catch up on and you still need to be properly cleaned up,” he chuckles, “dude, I know you said you lost badly, but have you seen your face? People are definitely going to notice.”
“Well then, you better get to work fixing me up.” Replies Eddie teasingly.
Buck gives him a look with mirth in his eyes but doesn’t complain as he pulls out the betadine. And while he continues to tend to Eddie’s injures, Eddie updates him on everything that he’s missed. They end up staying at that table until the early hours of the morning, just enjoying being back in each other’s company.

Ooooh for the Valentine's Day prompts, may I ask for number 3 ?! (no pressure though if you don't feel it anymore)
Eddie chewed at his lower lip slightly as he leaned back against the kitchen counter. Christopher was spending the night at his abuela's house and by some weird luck Eddie and Buck both had the day off. Valentine's Day. Eddie did not want to spend it alone, honestly who does?
He stood as he looked down at the phone in his hand, thumb hovering over the call button. It had never been so hard to push, not when it came to Buck. Buck, whose name had a little "💙" next to it because Eddie hadn't even given it a second thought when he was going through and putting the teams numbers in. Buck, who was Eddie's best friend. Buck, who has been there for him and his son though so much...who Eddie loved so much it hurt at times.
But Eddie knew that Buck had no one to spend the day with either, and the thought of Buck being alone today kinda made Eddie sad.
"C'mon Eddie just push the damn button. You can do this." Eddie said to himself as he nodded and took a deep breath and pressed the button.
"Hey man, what's up?" Buck said on the other end, picking up almost instantly.
"Not too much, you?" Eddie responded.
"Just playing this new game I picked up, got nothin else to do today, y'know? SHIT just died." Buck replied sighing slightly.
"I was thinking maybe you could come over for dinner. House is kinda empty with Christopher at Abuela's today it'd be nice to have some company." Eddie said as he ran a hand through his hair.
"Yeah! I'll be over in about an hour or so man. Catch ya in a few." Buck said happily.
"Yeah, see you in a bit man." Eddie responded, a small smile on his face before hanging up his phone and sticking it in his pocket. Eddie looked around the kitchen a moment before setting to work on putting dinner in the oven.
——————
Eddie was lounging on the couch in the living room when he heard the door open and perked up. Buck peeked his head into the room with his trademark grin and waved. "Hey."
"Hey." Eddie said with a small smile and fighting back laughter as Buck came over and plopped down in his spot, the spot he and Christopher both deemed Buck's, with a very large stuffed frog.
"I know you said Chris wasn't here but I got him something anyway." Buck said as he held the giant frog towards Eddie so he could read 'You Make me very Hoppy' scrawled on the shirt it wore. Eddie couldn't bite back the laughter that escaped.
"He's gonna love it man." Eddie smiled as he looked at the frog and then Buck who looked down momentarily and cleared his throat.
"I uh...I also got you something too. It's out in the Jeep though." Buck said smiling slightly and Eddie let out a quiet breath of relief.
"Me too, let me go grab it real quick and you can go get that if you want to now." Eddie got up and went to another room as Buck ran out to his Jeep. Both came back in and plopped down in their respective spots on the couch.
"Okay now bear with me, it was really all they had and not super lovey dovey." Buck said grinning like he was in on some hilarious secret. Eddie raised a brow but nodded.
"Yeah I feel you, it took ages to find something so you'll have to accept this really cheesy gift." Eddie laughed. Buck nodded as they exchanged the items.
Eddie had gotten Buck a box of his favorite candy and a small stuffed bumblebee that held a little pillow that said "Bee My Honey" on it. Eddie looked down at the bear he held in his hands and stifled his laughter as he realised why Buck had been so amused by his own words as Eddie read "I couldn't possibly bear life without you".
Both laughed as they looked down reading their gifts and then looked at one another.
"Thanks for inviting me over. I, uh...I really appreciate it. I was going crazy all alone there." Buck said after a moment, Eddie looked up at him.
"Of course man, I love having you over. I was kinda goin crazy too, what with Christopher being gone today." Eddie responded. Buck smiled a half smile before he shifted slightly looking at his hands.
"It's true y'know.."
"What is?" Eddie asked curiously, head slightly cocked as he looked at his best friend.
"I don't think I could do this without you...not anymore. When-...when I thought I lost you and Chris after everything that went down I was terrified Eddie. I've just gotten so used to you both being in my life and I don't know what would happen if I lost that, if I lost you." Buck answered honestly casting a quick glance at Eddie whose shoulders sagged ever so slightly.
"You won't lose us Buck, we're not going anywhere. Why do you think I got so upset in the store that day? I got so angry because I was hurt, I know that maybe I wasn't the greatest friend in the world but I was still upset you didn't realise how important you were...are...to us. You didn't realise how much Chris and I need you. Buck you've become such a big part of our lives and when you're not here it always feels like something is missing. We can't do this without you either." Eddie said honestly as he placed a hand on Buck's shoulder and squeezed. Buck turned his gaze to Eddie and Eddie's breath caught in his throat as Buck did the little eye flutter that drove his heart crazy.
"Jesus Buck you're gonna give me a heart attack doing that one of these days." Eddie said quietly earning a questioning look from the other.
"What did I do?"
"That little eyelash flutter you do sometimes."
"Well what's wrong with it? I can't always help it it's just a natural reaction." Buck stated as he shrugged.
"What's wrong with it is that it takes all self control I have to keep me from kissing you every time you do it in the middle of the station." Eddie mumbled before freezing and realising what he said out loud. Buck was quiet for a moment before he looked at Eddie and fluttered his eyes once more before smiling slightly.
"Well we're not in the middle of the station right now...so what's stopping you Eds?" Buck said as he looked at his best friend. Eddie waited all of two seconds before he leaned forward slightly and tugged Buck forward by his sweater and their lips collided. Buck's hands moved to his hair and Eddie groaned as he tugged at it, God was he glad he started growing it out again.
They pulled away to catch their breath as they looked at one another. Eddie turned his head as the oven beeped. Buck arched a brow at him.
"That would be dinner." Eddie laughed as he looked at Buck's confused face.
"You cooked?"
"Yeah I mean...I did ask you to come over for dinner. Dinner involves eating food." Eddie stated looking at Buck.
"I-I figured we were just gonna hang out and order a pizza or something, didn't think you'd actually cook." Buck replied, face flushed slightly. Eddie laughed slightly as he stood and leaned down capturing Buck's lips once more before pulling back.
"I thought it'd be nice to cook something instead of ordering out today." Eddie mumbled against Buck's lips. Buck let out a breath and his gaze flicked down to Eddie's lips.
"Your oven turns off with the timer goes off right?" Buck asked and Eddie furrowed his brows confused.
"Yeah why?"
"Because food can wait, kinda want to eat something else right now." Buck said as he grabbed Eddie and gently shoved him back on the couch with a wicked grin on his face.
"Oh, is that so?" Eddie mused as raised his arms as Buck tugged off Eddie's shirt and got to work on his belt.
"Happy Valentine's Day Eddie." Buck whispered in his ear, nipping at it and not giving Eddie a chance to answer before he sank to his knees in front of him.

“Sharing is caring, now give me the hoodie!” 😭🥺👀💙
Eddie sighed as they made their way back to the station, eager to get out and into the showers. Buck sat next to him, their knees touching as Buck's absentminded knee bouncing slowed and came to a stop. Eddie glanced over at him, Buck's head was resting back and his eyes were closed and mouth slightly agape. Eddie shook his head to himself before looking forward again and catching Hen's knowing gaze for a moment.
"Poor guy, he doesn't seem like he's been getting enough sleep lately." Hen stated and Eddie nodded. He knew that Buck had a rough time sleeping, the night terrors weren't as frequent now but they still made themselves known and Buck could never get back to sleep after one unless Eddie was there with him. Eddie felt bad for not being there last night but Buck had gone back to his own place... because as much as Eddie hated it...Buck didn't live with him. Not yet. Eddie was working on it though. Eddie turned his gaze back to Hen.
"He's still struggling with sleep sometimes. Don't really blame him for that either, I'd have a hell of a time sleeping after what he's been through too. " Eddie said to her and she nodded. Eddie looked to see what street they were on before gently nudging Buck who jerked up.
"It wasn't me!" Buck shouted causing them to all laugh quietly.
"We're a few blocks from the station sleeping beauty." Eddie mumbled and Buck looked at him scrunching his face.
"Thank God. Dude you seriously need a shower wow. No wonder I fell asleep, your stench is enough to KO anyone Eddie." Buck stated as he leaned away from Eddie but kept their legs touching. Eddie rolled his eyes.
"Yeah thanks, I had no idea that falling into that pit would make me smell like a rotting corpse in a pile of sh-"
"Ahah language or that's money in the swear jar man. Christopher has a steep price for that thing man. $3 a word is outrageous." Buck said pointing a finger at him. Eddie stared at him exasperatedly.
"If that's the case then you owe like $27!?" Eddie called out loudly as they pulled into the station. Buck shook his head and looked innocent. "I don't know what you're talking about Eddie, I was an angel last call."
Eddie pulled off his headset before attacking Buck in a hug earning laughs from everyone. "EDDIE! Oh my God this is so fucking disgusting. Oh God what even is this?" Buck exclaimed as he gagged. Eddie got out of the truck and Bobby looked them over.
"Don't track that stench through the house, showers both of you." Bobby said and they both nodded and headed to the locker room. Buck grumbling the entire time and even more so when he started undressing. Eddie practically tore his own shirt off him and stepped out of his pants before he grabbed his towel and headed to one of the shower stalls and turned on the water sighing at the warmth of the water hit his skin. He stands under the water with his head tilted back as the water runs over his skin and washes some of the mud and God only knows what off him.
"Dude how are you not scrubbing at your skin right now?" Buck mumbled from behind him and Eddie scoffed as he opened an eye and looked back at him. Buck grabbed the shampoo pouring some into his hand before starting on Eddie's hair.
"Buck-"
"Don't worry Eds, no funny business at work. Just wanted to see if you were okay."
"You just didn't want to be alone." Eddie stated, he knew Buck hated being alone for too long even more so after rough sleep nights. Buck smiled sheepishly.
"I'm fine Ev, how you holding up?" Eddie asked as he got to work on Buck's hair as Buck's fingers still working through Eddie's hair. Buck shrugged.
"I'm fine, probably gonna crash as soon as I get home though. I'm beat." Buck said as he stepped closer to Eddie, both chest to chest under the water rinsing their hair. Buck rested his forehead against Eddie's and Eddie pressed forward gently capturing Buck's mouth. The kiss was short and sweet but it got a smile out of Buck and that's all that ever mattered to Eddie.
"Why don't you stay at my place? Or Chris and I can come to your place?" Eddie said quietly as he grabbed the soap and scrubbed at his body. Buck doing the same with his own.
"Eddie it's fine, I'll be okay you don't have to-"
"Buck please. I think we both sleep better when we're next to eachother." Eddie said trying not to meet Buck's eyes but also not wanting his gaze to wander lower so he turned entirely.
"Take it you didn't sleep much either last night?"
"I never do unless I'm with you Buck."
"Alright, I still have clothes at your place right?" Buck asked and Eddie laughed.
"Yeah, like three drawers man. And a toothbrush. And your favorite blanket is still on the bed. You also left your jacket." Eddie mumbled the last bit.
"I've been looking for that jacket everywhere oh my God. And yeah I'll come over tonight." Buck replied as Eddie turned the water off and reached out grabbing the two towels and threw one at Eddie. Both dried off and wrapped themselves in towels before heading into the locker room. "When's Christopher's science project due?"
"Next Friday. You're still helping out right? You know I hate all that math and equation stuff." Eddie said as he opened his locker and frowned before searching through his duffle.
"Is that even a question? Of course. Besides the math part of the science project is worth a lot of the grade. It can't look flashy and cool and not have how it got to be that flashy and cool. I'm telling you he's gonna do great Eds. He really is." Buck said as he began pulling on his extra jeans and shirt.
"I know he is, don't know where the kid gets his brains from. Both his parents were fucking jackasses most of his life." Eddie muttered as he dumped his bag and groaned.
"Okay you're gonna end up dumping your entire check into that jar, and you're not a jackass Eddie. Smart people do dumb things, I am the perfect example of that." Buck said and pulled out his hoodie. "What are you looking for man?"
"Give me that." Eddie said eyes glued to the hoodie. Buck looked momentarily confused as he looked down at his hands.
"Uh...why?"
"Just give it here." Eddie said as he finished pulling on his jeans, leaving the belt undone as he turned his attention to Buck again.
"What if I said no?"
"Give. Me. It." Eddie said staring Buck down.
"You forgot your other shirts didn't you." Buck asked with a hint of a smirk.
"Sharing is caring Evan! Now give me the damn hoodie!!!" Eddie yelled out as Chimney and Bobby walked in, Eddie had a hand outstretched towards Buck who was laughing.
"Do we even want to ask?" Bobby asked as he glanced between the two of them.
"You're suppose to steal your boyfriend's hoodies, not demand them half naked Eddie." Chimney said as he went to his locker. Eddie flushed, he felt like he was on fire. Buck smiled at him softly and tossed him the hoodie. Bobby shook his head and looked between them.
"We'll fill out the paperwork for HR tommorow. After we eat you guys are going home...and Diaz make sure he gets some sleep." Bobby said in the most fatherly tone they've heard in a while. Eddie nodded as he pulled on the hoodie and stuck his hands in the pocket and was suddenly really glad he left his other shirt at home.
Dinner was filled with the team teasing the two and a lot of people having to pay Chimney for winning the bet on when they'd get together. Hen was a little off and had made a comment about why they couldn't have decided to get together a little sooner than they had. Once they got home they found Christopher already fast asleep thanks to Carla and both kissed his head goodnight before moving to Eddie's room, their room really, and fell asleep almost as soon as their heads hit the pillow.

Prompt #23- The Wish List
"Eddie it's fine really." Buck sighed as he groaned for the millionth time during that conversation.
"Come on Buck there's gotta be something you want or want to do. I'm asking as your best friend what you want for the holidays." Eddie said as he looked at Buck sitting across the table from him in Buck's dining area. Buck drug a hand down his face and held it there for a second. Eddie was persistent in this and was not going to drop the topic.
"I-I don't know Eddie? I've never really thought about it. Just give me a few days and I'll think of something I guess, but seriously man I don't need anything. You guys are all I need to have a good holiday, we're one big weird family at the 118." Buck said and both laughed quietly.
"Okay, you've got three days Buckaroo. I need something, you're impossible too shop for man." Eddie sighed as he stood up and moved over to the case of DVDs.
"Dude you realize I've got Netflix and Hulu right?" Buck said as he got up and moved to start popcorn.
"So you're suggesting Netflix and chill?" Eddie said jokingly and Buck was grateful the man couldn't see his face and the flush that took over it. "I want a holiday classic dude, we're firing up the DVD player. Screw streaming services."
"Die Hard is a solid classic." Buck said as he leaned against the counter and waited for the microwave to beep.
"I...okay we were definitely going different routes there." Eddie laughed as he glanced at Buck who raised a brow.
"And you were thinking...?"
"Love Actually or The Escape Clause Evan. Like...actual good holiday movies." Eddie said waving both movies at him.
"Excuse you, Die Hard is most certainly a phenomenal holiday movie." Buck gasped out offended and Eddie laughed as he held up the movies and Buck pointed to Love Actually. "We can probably watch em both before you gotta go."
Eddie nodded and set up the movie as Buck got the popcorn and drinks and plopped down on the couch.
The next hours were filled with popcorn fights, wrestling and watching the movies. After the third movie way finished, Buck had talked Eddie into watching Die Hard, Eddie looked at his phone. "Alright I should get going. I'll catch you later man, remember you've got three days to tell me something."
"Yeah yeah, I'll see you later Eddie. Tell Chris I said hey, get home safe man." Buck waved at him as he left. He locked the door and sighed as he rested his head against the door. He needed to come up with something.
Buck sat at the table alone the next night, a paper blank in front of him. He chewed at his lower lip as he wrote "My Wish List" on the top in his favorite blue pen. He had no idea what to put down, everything he wanted you couldn't just waltz into a store and get. How was he supposed to put that down? Buck pursed his lips slightly and put his pen to paper and nodded. He'd just have to figure it out.
"One minute!" Buck heard the familiar voice call out from beyond the door. A few seconds later Eddie was opening the door and face to face with Buck. Buck had his hands stuffed into his jacket as he smiled slightly. "Hey Buck, what's up?"
"You asked for it so...uh...here's the wishlist." Buck mumbled as he handed Eddie the neatly folded paper. Eddie smiled softly as he began unfolding it and read over it.
My Wish List
-A replacement for that mug you broke, y'know the cute wolf one
-the ugliest sweater you could possibly find
-The new book to that series I was telling you about
-To kiss you
Eddie read through, and reread the short list several times. Buck held his breathe for what seemed like years waiting for some reaction. Eddie finally looked up, a grin on his face.
"See...now this I can work with." He said as he grabbed Buck by his jacket and their lips crashed together. Eddie's tongue darted between Buck's parted lips and began to explore his mouth. Buck groaned quietly as his hands found their way to Eddie's face and side. When they finally pulled apart to catch their breathe Eddie leaned his forehead against Buck's and laughed quietly. "That last one was on my Wish List too."
(I really hope you like it!!!)

“Do you even still love me?” 🥺
[okay so the start of this made me sad but it ends happy. I honestly really enjoyed writing it and I hope you enjoy it too!]
----
Eddie sighed heavily as he walked into the house and leaned down unlacing his boots. He could tell the house was empty, Christopher was at Hens for a sleepover with Denny and Harry this weekend. He walked through the house double checking the rooms and his shoulders sagged at the confirmation that Buck was nowhere to be found.
He had hoped that he would have come here, come home, when Bobby told him that he needed to take the day and leave early. Buck had ended up having a pretty bad panic attack after the pool call today. Eddie wanted to leave with him but they needed all hands on deck today. It was hard even being down one person today with the calls they had gotten.
Truth be told as much as it hurt him...he wasn't surprised to not find Buck here. It'd been happening a lot lately. They'd gotten into a few fights, ones that Eddie didn't really think were that bad. Just normal, typical arguments that couples tend to have but ever since the last one two weeks ago Buck just...distanced himself. He was gone for a while and just pretended like it was nothing most days. Maybe he was realizing that this just...wasn't what he wanted. And that killed Eddie. He loved Buck, had for a long time, long before he had the courage to kiss him when they were hanging out after the Halloween party.
That was one of the best days of his life. He had been nervous but it was worth it in the end. Buck was always worth it...but Eddie was starting to think maybe he, himself, wasn't. He never really had been for anyone. He wasn't enough for his family to be proud of until he had earned that Silver Star. He wasn't enough to keep Shannon in the end. He never felt like he was a good enough father for his son. And now he wasn't enough to keep Buck. He tried so hard but…it was never enough.
Eddie sighed once more running a hand over his short hair and decided to put dinner in the oven before heading into the shower. He stood with his head resting against the wall, eyes closed as he tried to clear his thoughts but it wasn't working very well. He kept going over things, over thinking, over analyzing. He just didn't understand exactly where he went wrong. He understood where he went wrong with Shannon, but even then he tried to fix things. Tried to be enough. He had failed his son so many times but he always tried his best and looked out for Christopher. But with Buck he didn't understand what he did? Where he went wrong, what pushed him away. He gently butted his head against the wall before grabbing the shampoo and scrubbing at his hair.
Eddie turned off the water and grabbed a towel drying himself off and pulled on loose sweatpants and a t-shirt before silently padding out of the bathroom and into the kitchen and paused as he seen Buck grabbing plates from the cabinet and set them on the counter. Eddie's heart clenched slightly as Buck came over, a soft smile on his face and kissed his cheek.
Eddie tensed slightly and Buck frowned but didn't say anything about it as Eddie moved to the oven to check the food. Eddie stayed silent as he pulled the food out and set it on top of the stove.
"How'd the rest of the shift go?" Buck asked and Eddie just shrugged.
"Fine I guess, same stuff different day. You know how the job is." Eddie mumbled and Buck furrowed his brows.
"Did something happen?"
"At work? No." Eddie responded. Buck frowned as he looked at Eddie who still had his back to him.
"Then whe-"
"Look I'm surprised you even came home tonight Buck, but you don't have to sit here and pretend just because you did." Eddie cut him off and turned to face him.
"Eddie what the hell is that supposed to mean? When I have I ever not come home? Yeah okay so I went out for a bit with Maddie because I didn't want to be alone with everything that happened today, I don't see what the big deal is?" Buck said and Eddie scoffed.
"Yeah that's the thing Evan, you come home every night but what about before that? You've been avoiding me at work since our last fight, you've barely been here at all and when you are here it's-" Eddie drug a hand down his face and took a deep breath closing his eyes before meeting Buck's gaze. "Do you even still love me?"
Buck's heart dropped at the words he was hearing as he looked at his boyfriend. "Eds what are you talking about? Of course I love you."
"I'm finding that a little hard to believe Ev, look...you don't have to pretend I just..I just need the truth." Eddie said as he sniffled quietly trying to hold back the tears that threatened to come out, God he hated it. He needed to just deal with this, he could allow himself some time to deal with it later and alone. But not now. Not like this and not in front of Buck. Buck who looked like a kicked puppy right now.
"Eddie I...oh God I know how it must look but I promise you it's not like that okay? I know that I've been out a lot but," He paused running a hand through his hair and leaning his head back. "I've been out so much because I've been trying to find something and Maddie has been trying to help me with it when she's not working."
"For two weeks? It doesn't really help your case on why you've been avoiding me at work. We're partners Evan? And you've barely even looked at me. You're antsy when you sit next to me in the truck or when we're all sitting down to eat. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong? I've never been good enough for anyone but I've tried so hard to be good enough for you." Eddie said as he looked Buck in his eyes. Buck's eyes watered slightly and he shook his head as he reached into his coat pocket.
"Yeah, for two weeks Eddie. Not everything can be found and planned overnight. For the past two weeks I've been out trying to find this perfect goddamn thing because," Buck paused as he set a small box on the table and looked at Eddie. "I wanted to ask you to marry me Eddie. So Maddie was helping me out with planning how to do it. It took ages for me to find this damn ring. So yeah I-I've been avoiding you at work because I was excited and nervous and I didn't want to slip up on it. And I know how it all must have looked especially after that last fight but...Ed's it was having that last fight that made me realize how much I love you and Christopher. I love you guys so much Eddie, I couldn't even begin to think what would happen if I lost you guys. You will always be enough for me, more than enough Eddie. Don't ever think differently. I'm not her Eds, I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere."
Eddie allowed himself to be pulled against Buck's chest and buried his face against Buck's shoulder. "I'm sorry."
"Eds you've got nothing to be sorry for, if anything I should be the one apologizing. I never meant for you to feel like I was pulling away. I wouldn't do that. You're stuck with me." Buck said softly as he pressed light kisses to the side of Eddie's face earning a scrunched up face in return.
"You're being soft and mushy again." Eddie mumbled as he tilted his head slightly and looked at Buck who laughed and wrapped his arms tighter around him.
"You love it don't even try to deny it Mr. Tough Macho Street fighter." Buck smiled as Eddie shook his head and smacked his shoulder lightly. They stayed like that for a while, arms wrapped around each other and occasionally giving soft kisses before Eddie looked at Buck who cleared his throat slightly.
"So uh...whatta ya say?" Buck asked and Eddie arched a brow at him.
"About?"
Buck rolled his eyes as he pulled back a bit to look Eddie in the eye and smiled as he spoke. "Edmundo Diaz, will you marry me you wonderfully frustrating dumbass?"
Eddie let out a low chuckle as he captured Buck's mouth and kissed him for what could have been seconds, minutes, maybe even hours. Neither really cared. They pulled apart to catch their breath as Eddie placed a hand on Buck's face, thumb gently stroking his cheek. "Yes Evan, I will happily marry your stubborn frustrating dumbass."
The smile that lit up Buck's face was enough to erase any doubt Eddie had ever had about how Buck felt about him. Eddie would do anything for that smile. Buck reached for the box on the table and pulled out a black band with 'I've got your back now and forever' engraved on the inside. Eddie let him slip it on his finger as he looked at his now fiancé. He couldn't believe that he had thought Buck didn't love him, looking at him right now Eddie knew that it was ridiculous. He knew that sometimes his mind got the best of him, but in the end it was okay. He was okay. They were okay.
Buck pulled him in for another kiss before both pulled away laughing as their stomachs growled. "We should probably warm the food up and eat huh?"
"Yeah, I'm starving." Eddie said as they set to getting their food warmed up and ready to eat. Eddie couldn't help but smile as he watched the other man. His present and his future. For the first time in a long time Eddie Diaz knew and felt in his heart, that he was enough. Everything that happened in his life led him here. To Buck. No matter what road he took from here on out would always lead to him. And Eddie wouldn't have it any other way.

Literally 1-4 could work together it doesn't have to be all of them but I just couldn't pick which one. Love your writing.
"Hey Eds." Buck said casually answering his phone.
"I need a favor." Eddie said on the other end of the phone.
"Uh...o-kaaay. What kind of favor we talking?" Buck asked suddenly intrigued. Eddie sighed out a bit annoyed before continuing.
"I need you to come over. It's a bit of a long story but to make it short I need you here in the next like 15 minutes before my parents get here. There in town and I...really don't want to deal with them today." Eddie said talking kinda fast.
"No worries man, I'm on my way." Buck answered.
"Thanks Buck."
"That's what friends are for right?" Buck said as he grinned and started his Jeep, tossing his phone into the seat as they hung up.
"Look if they ask anything-" Eddie started but was cut off.
"We have reservations that can't be cancelled and it's one of the only nights we have off so we can't reschedule date night. Carla is watching Christopher and we are getting ready to leave because we have to be there by 7:15." Buck said casually as Eddie helped him with his tie. Eddie nodded and stepped back to look at his handiwork.
"Try not too screw this up yeah?"
"I'm offended you think so lowly of me." Buck rolled his eyes.
"Actually the opposite, that's the reason I called you. I could have called someone else. Just seriously please don't be a smartass with them Buck, they get on my case enough as is." Eddie huffed as he did his own tie.
"Look I'm only here to establish an alibi...more specifically your alibi Eddie. But don't worry I'll bite my tongue and behave." Buck said as he leaned against the wall and looked at his best friend. Damn did he look good in that suit.
"I know you're always a good lil golden retriever Buck. So just keep it cool for a few minutes, just long enough to get rid of them okay?"
"So I'm wearing a suit just because you need to lie to your parents? And why has everyone just decided that I'm a human golden retriever?" Buck said throwing his hands up pouting.
"That look right there, you look like an adorable little confused puppy. Plus you've got a heart of gold Buckaroo. You're a puppy boy." Eddie laughed, completely ignoring the first question. Buck shook his head and mumbled something to himself as he took something out of Eddie's hair earning an odd look from his friend. Buck just shrugged a shoulder.
Before Eddie could say anything there was a knock at the door. "Be right there!"
Eddie made his way to the door and opened it pretending to be surprised. Aunt Pepa had called Eddie ahead of time to warn him his parents would be headed his way soon.
"Uh...hey. What are you guys doing here?" Eddie asked as he hugged his mother and shook his father's hand.
"Is that any way to greet your parents?" His father grumbled and Eddie sighed inwardly.
"Sweetheart why are you dressed up?" His mother asked taking in his appearance.
"I've got dinner plans tonight." Eddie shrugged and tried to back away as his mother fussed with his hair.
"Oh? And who's the lucky lady?" She asked but his father simply scoffed. "No, you're just trying to get out of dealing with us huh?"
"Hey Eds? We gotta get going soon or we'll be late." Buck called out as he came around the corner and stopped as he looked at his parents. Eddie silently thanked Buck for his timing of coming around the corner.
"W-who is this?" Both parents said at the same time.
"Mom..pop...this is Buck." Eddie said as he motioned for Buck to come over, Buck taking a spot close to Eddie.
"Buck? Kind of a strange name." His father mumbled and Eddie bit the inside of his cheek.
"It's uh...it's actually Evan but everyone calls me Buck." Buck said smoothly as he held out a hand to Eddie's father who reluctantly shook his hand. Eddie's mother smiled politely and glanced between them.
"This is the young man you work with isn't it?"
"Yes, it is." Eddie said curtly getting a feeling that this conversation was about to go into a direction he didn't want.
"Isn't that against policies?" His father remarked.
"Actually as long as the captain clears it and feels it won't Impact your ability to do your job no it's not." Buck said with a shrug of his shoulder.
"Eddie I thought you were past this?" The man said ignoring Buck who felt Eddie tense next to him.
"I'm a grown man and I am not having this conversation with you, either of you right now." Eddie said clinching his jaw.
"We have talked about this before and we will again, I don't think it's fair to you or this family especially your so-"
"Sir with all due respect, if my father couldn't beat my bisexuality out of me growing up I don't think anyone will change it. For anyone. You can have all the conversations in the world but it won't change who you are as a person. It doesn't change anything about me, it doesn't change anything about Eddie. And it sure as hell doesn't change how great of a father he is to Christopher and I will have you know me and that boy get along beautifully so I don't think it really matters to him." Buck said as he placed a gentle hand on Eddie's shoulder as he spoke calmly. "Now it's great to meet you but it's our only day off and we have dinner reservations at 7:15 so we have to finish getting ready."
"I think it's time for us to go, we'll be at your abuela's but we will be seeing you soon Edmundo." His father said as he grabbed his mother's hand and they left. Eddie sighed as he leaned against the wall.
"Buck-"
"I'd prefer not to talk about it right now okay? Now can I please get out of this suit?" Buck groaned and Eddie couldn't stop the little laugh that escaped him.
"No can do Buck."
"What? Why?" He said confused.
"Because we actually have dinner reservations at 7:15. I'm driving." Eddie said as he walked away to retrieve his wallet and keys leaving Buck standing at the door, mouth open slightly and confusion setting in...was he going on an actual date with Eddie?
Buck sat there swishing the wine in his glass around slightly, he could feel Eddie's eyes on him.
"You're upset.."
"I...no I'm not I just kinda wish you would have told me this was an actual date before hand." Buck said looking up at Eddie.
"I mean I did. I wasn't lying when I told you what we were telling my parents."
"Yeah okay fair point, however I thought I was just being used as an alibi."
"Buck you'd never just be used as an alibi with me, you should know that by now man. But look if this bothers you too much we can go?" Eddie said and he couldn't help the bit of disappointment that crept into his features.
"What! No it's fine, it doesn't bother me Eddie. It's all good, we're good." Buck smiled that beautiful smile Eddie loved so much, and eyes fluttering as he looked across the table at Eddie. "Guess I'm just a bit surprised."
"Well don't be, I really like you okay? And so does Christopher." Eddie said as he took a drink and smiled and Buck's heart nearly exploded. He didn't see Eddie smile like that enough but it took his breath away every time he did.
Eddie went to say something else when his phone rang. "Hello?"
Eddie pulled the phone away from his ear for a moment, a momentary look of horror crossing his face before bringing the phone back to his ear.
"But-" Eddie stopped as he was cut off. "Cap come on nononono I don't need it off, neither of us do. Please call them back and say we're short staffed or something." Eddie pleaded and Buck looked at him, resting his chin on his hand.
"Fine...yeah...see you then." Eddie sighed and hung up as he muttered something in Spanish.
"Soooo..." Buck asked, brows raising a bit.
"They called Bobby." Eddie said miserably.
"Oh? And?"
"We now have tomorrow off, Jackson and Romero are filling in for us. Day after tomorrow Cap wants to talk to us first thing in the morning." Eddie said and Buck groaned.
"Shit.... okay. Okay wait....hang on I have a solution!" Buck said and Eddie's eyes lit up.
"Thank God.." Eddie exclaimed.
"It involves fire."
"Absolutely not?"
"Eds come on!"
"No Buck." Eddie shook his head incredibly. This was the guy he was in love with.
"Okay okay...what if I got stabbed? I'm still on blood thinners. Nothing major but like a shallow one?"
"Evan!" Eddie exclaimed and earned some looks from people at nearby tables.
"I'm joking don't get your panties twisted babe." Buck snorted as he took another drink and laughed a little.
"Hopefully tomorrow goes better than today did with them. Plus we'll have Christopher on our side, I dare them to try something with him there." Eddie said.
"True, he's a great kid man. You're a good Dad." Buck said smiling.
"So are you." Eddie said quietly and Buck dropped the glass in his hand, already profusely apologising to the waitress who came over and cleaned the glass.
"See this is why we can't have nice things Buckley. What am I going to do with you huh?" Eddie joked playfully. Buck smiled sheepishly, his smile faltering as he noticed the blood on his hand.
"Eddie...you still got that first aid kit in the truck?"
"Yeah why?" Eddie asked, not hiding the concern in his voice. Buck held up his hand showing him before grabbing a napkin and putting it to the cut.
Both men got up, Buck heading out to the truck and Eddie paying the bill before meeting Buck outside. The cut wasn't deep and they got the bleeding under control fairly quick but Eddie still kept asking if Buck felt okay.
"Eds I'm okay, it'll heal up in no time."
"I'm still going to worry Buck. Even before you were on thinners I worried. You sure you feel okay?" Eddie asked as he didn't move from where he stood in front of Buck who sat in the passenger seat sideways, legs hanging out the door.
"I'm fine Eddie...could use a kiss to make it better though." Buck mumbled as he glanced up at Eddie who laughed quietly as he leaned in and brushed his lips against Buck's gently, a hand resting on his jaw. Buck leaned forward a bit more deepening the kiss and both smiled as they broke away.
"Just to make it clear...we are dating now right?"
"Yeah Buck, we're most definitely dating now." Eddie said as he pecked Buck's lips again, arms wrapped around him.
"Ready to go home?" Eddie asked gently and Buck nodded as he hugged Eddie a little bit tighter.
"I already am though." Buck whispered in his ear and Eddie smiled.
Yeah...Eddie could definitely get use to this.

If you are still taking prompts. #6. Like maybe someone is flirting with buck or Eddie and then the other is like is it murder and like Athena or hen is like that's a threat.
Eddie sat at the table with Hen, Bobby and Athena as he glared at the blonde practically throwing themself at Buck. Was Buck doing anything about it? No of course not, why would he? Sure Eddie knew that at the end of the day Buck was coming home with him but still it rubbed him the wrong way seeing people flirt with Buck. His Buck. His boyfriend.
The blonde laughed obnoxiously at something Buck said and went to rest his hand on Buck's arm. Eddie snorted to himself as Buck smoothly shifted and pointed at something off in the distance.
"Remember that Eddie?" Hen laughed and looked over at him.
"Uh...wait what?" Eddie asked confused. "Sorry I zoned out for a minute, what were we talking about?"
"Zoned out? More like zeroed in on someone. You got it bad Eddie." Hen laughed and Athena hummed her agreement. Eddie rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, yeah whatever." He huffed as he continued to stare daggers at the blonde who was leaning in closer to Buck. "Serious question, is it still murder if you give them a heads up?"
"Sweetheart...that's called a threat..." Athena said amused as she tilted her drink slightly towards him.
"Damn!" Eddie sighed. "But like... what if there's good reason behind it?"
"Some blonde bimbo flirting with your man is not good enough reason Eddie." Hen laughed out and Bobby just sat there shaking his head. Eddie took another drink and sat back in his chair.
"Anyway, we were talking about that one lady who got her head stuck in the tailpipe of that truck." Hen said looking at him.
"Oh yeaah, I remember that. Guy was more worried about his truck than the girl he was trying to pick up. Who flirts with someone by telling them to stick their head in your tailpipe?" Eddie laughed as he took another drink.
"I'd imagine that was something Buck said to you...probably happens a lot too." Hen joked and Bobby and Eddie both nearly choked on their drinks.
"Did not want that visual at all Hen, could have gone my entire life without ever imagining that scenario." Bobby said as he tried to shake the visual from his mind. Eddie wanted to sink below the table and disappear from embarrassment.
The embarrassment was short lived as he noticed the blonde put his hand on Buck's thigh. Eddie slammed his beer down on the table and got up.
"Go easy on the poor guy Eds." Hen sighed after him shaking his head.
Eddie stalked over to the two and practically growled. "You've got two seconds to get your hand off him and get out of this bar."
"Or wha-" The man's words died on his tongue as he turned and looked at Eddie who was about two seconds from fight mode, a feral look in his eyes. The man got up quietly, not casting another glance at Buck as he left.
"Oh c'mon babe, we were just talking." Buck said as he took in Eddie's stance.
"Really? Just talking? That didn't look like just talking Buck." Eddie growled as he moved closer to Buck. Buck smirked slightly as he let Eddie pull him closer. "You need to set boundaries for people Buck and you need to stop being such a-"
"I'll have you know I was not being a flirt I was actually talking about work. I don't know why he was laughing so hard. Gotta say... Didn't think you were the jealous type Eddie." Buck muttered leaning closer to Eddie, who was snaking an arm around Buck's waist.
"I'm not jealous."
"Really? Because you look jealous... and ready to murder someone." Buck snorted.
"You're my boyfriend Buck, and I don't like seeing my boyfriend being hit on by people."
"Well I can't help that I'm practically a sex God." Buck joked as he wrapped his arms around his boyfriend. Eddie scoffed.
"You're an idiot."
"But I'm your idiot." Buck said as his lips brushed Eddie's.
"Damn right you are." Eddie mumbled before crushing their lips together. Buck grinned as Eddie practically growled against him as they kissed. Eddie always kissed him like it was the last thing they'd ever do, but Buck always kissed him the same way.
"God can't you two just get a room or some privacy already!" Chim and Maddie called out as they got back to the table from their Karaoke binge.
"No don't tell them that, knowing them they'll disappear into that truck and there will definitely be something going in someone's tailpipe somewhere." Athena grumbled as she gave them the look strictly reserved for them. Bobby groaned and buried his face in his arms.
"Uh...what? I-i'm confused...what about tailpipes?" Buck said with a look that made him look like an innocent confused, lost puppy.
"I'll show you later." Eddie whispered close to his ear with a grin as he dragged Buck back to the table and pulled a chair closer. They sat down and Eddie threw an arm around his boyfriend who still had a confused look on his face, only made worse when Athena looked at Eddie and said. "Proud of you, you actually managed to not commit a serious crime tonight."
The night ended in laughter and them all parting ways to go home, and Eddie showing Buck what they had meant in talking about tailpipes once they got to their own place.

“Is the cat in a onesie?” “Uh, no? Hi!!! Oh please do this one 💙💙💙
"Can we just...can we at least keep him for the night Eddie? He's cold and soaked to the bone and I just want to keep an eye on him." Buck said looking at his boyfriend with his big blue eyes and a soft expression on his face as he held the grey Maine Coon to his chest. Eddie sighed and drug a hand down his face. Boy was he glad Christopher was at Hens for the weekend having a sleepover with Denny.
"Fine, but tomorrow he's going to the shelter. If that thing does it's business in my house YOU'RE cleaning it up." Eddie looked at his boyfriend who was absolutely beaming as he cradled the cat to his chest and ran into the bathroom to grab an extra towel. Eddie grabbed a small box and set up a towel over an old throw pillow and a bowl of water and waited for Buck to come back.
"Alright think this is as good as we're going to get you little guy." Buck said as he walked back in and looked at the box Eddie set up nodding his thanks as he set the cat down in the box and plopped down on the new, very comfortable, couch. Eddie sat next to him and draped an arm around his boyfriend and pulled him closer. Buck leaned over and kissed Eddie softly before turning his attention back to the cat as Eddie turned his attention back to the movie he had been watching when his boyfriend got home.
___
Eddie was going to kill him. He knew it. Eddie hated the cat and it had only been a single night, he promised he would take it to the shelter today but Buck couldn't bring himself to do it. Eddie was doing a store run and having lunch with his abuela, typically Buck would he there but he had the cat issue to deal with. Now he had to figure out a way to explain to why the cat was still here especially because-
"Is the cat in a onesie?" Eddie asked exasperated.
"Uh, no?" Buck said as he slowly put the cat in his hoodie all while staring dead at Eddie. "W-what cat babe?"
"Buck..." Buck hated the look Eddie gave him just then.
"Eddie I can't leave him there, you know how bad certain shelters are? Look maybe we can ask around and see if anyone wants a cat? Just keep him here until we find someone who is willing to take him?" Buck pleaded as he scratched the cats head. Eddie stood there for a moment before nodding.
"You call anyone yet?"
"Hen said she's not taking chances because of Paisley. Chim is allergic. Haven't tried anyone else yet though." Buck answered as he yawned.
"And Maddie won't take him because her and Chimney are always together." Eddie mumbled and Buck nodded.
"Could try Bobby or Carla?"
"Yeah but you know how Athena is Eddie. That's why I haven't called him."
"I could try to talk them into it." Eddie shrugged a shoulder crouching down in front of his boyfriend and staring at the cat who hissed at him.
"Wait...what about Pepa or abuela?" Buck asked and Eddie hummed to himself.
"Well... abuela does generally love animals. I'm sure she'd love the company. It's easy to keep up with, doesn't have to walk it..." Eddie pondered outloud.
"Abuela!...Yes of course, it's nice talking to you too...oh no everything is just fine with us...He's at a sleepover this weekend...I was wondering if you maybe wanted a cat? I found him last night and I don't want to bring him to a shelter around here...Yes, well to be honest I don't think he likes him very much either...mhm... okay I promise I will. Bye abuela." Buck smiled as he hung up the phone and looked at Eddie who raised an eyebrow at him. "She'll take him but also we're having dinner with her tommorow night."
"Why is it that I feel like she likes you more than she likes me?" Eddie laughed.
"Because she does, who wouldn't? I'm a delightful individual Edmundo." Buck smiled as he set the cat down and kissed his boyfriend who just rolled his eyes.
"I still can't believe you put it in a onesie Buck."
"Speaking of onesies..."
"Buck please tell me you didn't buy us one as well." Eddie groaned.
"They're really adorable though. Chris likes em."
"Buck!"
"I love you." Buck said laughing at Eddie's expression.
"I love you too but I'm not getting in one of those." Eddie said smiling against Buck's lips. Eddie knew that as soon as Christopher found out about Buck buying those onesies the man would cave. He always did.

Super simple but I hope you like it!!! 💙💙💙 Thank you so much for the request 😭🙏🏻

Seeing as you got trashed lmao...a drunk Buddie prompt (Eddie is wasted and Buck is just trying to look after his dumbass)
(....you right though I got trashed the other night, let's make Eddie deal with doing similar... Let's see how this turns out. Probably soft. I don't know. Sorry in advance that this is probably shorter not my greatest thing.)
----
Now typically this would be the other way around. Buck would be borderline black out drunk and his best friend would be looking after his sorry ass, yet for some reason Buck was stuck in the parking lot of the bar trying to get Eddie into his Jeep and get him home. It was raining and Eddie lost his shirt at some point and was drunkenly trying to dance around.
"Hey magic Mike come on, get in the Jeep." Buck said as he grabbed his extra hoodie out of the back and made his way over to Eddie to help him into it.
"I want to stay out here though Buck." Eddie slurred out as he flapped the slightly too long sleeves around.
"Eddie you'll catch a cold."
"Old wives taallleee." He sang out as he allowed Buck to zip up the hoodie. "If I get in can we get a puppy!"
"What?" Buck asked looking at his best friend.
"Pllleeaasssseeeeeeeeeee." Eddie asked with the most serious expression Buck had ever seen on him.
"Y-yeah sure Eddie. But not tonight, we can go find you one tomorrow if you still want one then." Buck laughed sightly as his friends face lit up. Buck helped Eddie into the passenger seat and handed him a bottle of water. "Try to drink this okay?"
Eddie nodded and opened the water. "It's like bottled rain man. The sky is so beautiful, it gives us water. So so wonderful. Looks like your eyes sometimes too, really pretty."
Buck raised a brow at that but said nothing as he got in and double checked Eddie.
"Why can't we go tonight?"
"I'm sorry?"
"Why can't we get a puppy now?" Eddie asked looking extremely confused.
"They're all sleeping." Buck said as started his Jeep and looked over at Eddie again who was deep in thought.
"Yeah but you're not asleep and Buck you're literally a puppy given human form it's one of the reasons I love you." Eddie mumbled.
"I think you've definitely had way too much to drink so just...drink your water and let me get you home okay?" Buck said and Eddie nodded.
-
"I still can't believe you spilled them everywhere." Buck said laughing as he helped Eddie separate the Skittles all over the floor into their respective colors pile. He had tried to get him to lay down but the man was not at all having it. At least he seemed to be in a good mood, oftentimes he was a bit angry and closed off when he got drunk.
"Shhhh stop talking just swoosh this one into that pile." Eddie said as he concentrated on moving the last of the red ones. Buck moved the rest of the green into the pile and looked at Eddie. "Now what?"
"I...I don't know I never thought that far ahead. What do you think we should do? Should we taste the rainbow?" Eddie asked as he looked at Buck and then the piles of hundreds of little Skittles on the kitchen floor.
"How about we put them into bags for now and we can...erm taste the rainbow later." Buck said stifling laughter as he got up to retrieve multiple bags. When he returned he found Eddie with a mouthful of red and orange Skittles.
"Rainbows taste like magic. Wanna try it?"
"I've already tried it Eds but uh thanks." Buck said scooping the rest into bags. He prayed these floors were clean considering Eddie just ate at least 50 Skittles off it.
Buck sighed as he helped Eddie into the shower and tried to ignore the weird smiles he was getting. He reached over grabbing the shampoo and poured some into his hands and washed Eddie's hair which had grape juice in it now. Drunk Eddie was either a five year old or a brooding asshole there was no in-between apparently. Buck tilted Eddie's head back and rinsed and looked at him.
"What's so amusing?" Buck asked finally giving in to his curiosity.
"You're kinda hot." Eddie chuckled and Buck blushed sightly. "Can I kiss you?"
"Eddie no." Buck said and earned a hurt look from his friend. "Look you're... you're wasted right now Eddie. We can talk about it tomorrow and if your wanna kiss me still then fine it can happen. But not like this."
Eddie frowned deeply but nodded as Buck turned off the water and got out pulling on sweats before helping Eddie into his. Buck had Eddie drink some more water before they went to Eddie's room and Buck got him situated.
"You every like someone. Like reeeaaaallllyyyy like em and you don't know how to tell them so you drop dumb hints and like they're just so oblivious to it. So you go out and you do something dumb and think hey maybe this way I can tell they but you still can't! Y-y-you just go hey your hot let's kiss." Eddie slurred out quickly, Buck having a hard time understanding him.
"Eddie just...get some sleep okay. We can talk on the morning." Buck said as he double checked Eddie had everything he needed and headed to the spare bedroom. He lay there on his side slowly drifting off trying to make sense of the night. Eddie had been hitting on him most of the night even before he got shitfaced, and he apparently wanted to kiss him and god did Buck want that but not like this. He had baked brownies, organized Skittles and gave Eddie juice as he colored a picture for Christopher in a coloring book. It had been a strange night and hopefully tomorrow it'd make more sense.
He was finally drifting off to sleep when he felt the matress dip slightly behind him and felt a body snuggle up closer to his back and whisper, "Goodnight Evan." quietly.
-
"Oh my God what the hell happened." Eddie groaned as he moved and how head felt like it was splitting. Buck laughed quietly as he brought him something for the headache and more water.
"A lot. Do you remember anything?" Buck asked watching Eddie take the pills and chug back the water quickly.
"I remember saying something about a dog... asking to kiss someone? I...Don't remember most of the night though man. I didn't do anything stupid did I?" Eddie asked looking at his best friend.
"Nah, nothing too bad. I kept an eye on you. You did it Skittles off your kitchen floor and hit on me all night though." Eddie paled at the last bit.
"Wait what?"
"I didn't mind much... Only thing I minded was that you were drunk while doing so." Buck mumbled as he sat on the edge of the bed. Eddie staring at him as the words sank in.
"You wanna go grab some breakfast?" Buck asked.
"Like a breakfast date?"
"Exactly like a breakfast date." Buck answered.
"Sounds like a plan to me." Eddie said and Buck flashed him that famous smile before he leaned forward and pecked him gently on his cheek.

Ice skating!!! ⛸️❄️
"Buck you'll be fine man come on!" Eddie said as he looked down at his best friend sitting on the ground. Buck was pouting and looking at the ice like it would kill him.
"Eddie I'm not sure man...look I'm not exactly graceful on my feet. That one call a few weeks ago showed that." Buck said as he rubbed at the back of his neck and looked down. Eddie crouched down in front of his best friend and looked at him.
"Evan...I'll be right there with you the whole time. You'll do fine Buckaroo." He said calmly and held out his hands. "You rescue people from life or death situations every day, you really gonna let ice skating get the best of you man?"
Buck looked at his hands hesitantly before sighing and grabbing them allowing Eddie to pull him to his feet. "Alright take careful steps forward until you're at the edge of the ice okay?"
"Yeah, okay." Buck said as he held onto Eddie's hands and took a careful step forward. Then another.
"That's it Buck, see careful steps." Eddie said as he took a step back with every step Buck took forward until he hit the ice. Buck looked cautiously at the edge of the ice and up at Eddie.
"Alright, now we're going to carefully get you on the ice okay? I'm right here, I've got you Evan." Eddie said as he moved farther onto the ice. Buck took a deep breath and carefully set a skate on the ice and then the other. Eddie moved back slightly and pulled Buck along with him carefully. "Okay now you've got to try to move your feet carefully okay? Keep it steady."
Buck nodded and attempted to move forward but nearly slipped and his grip tightened on Eddie. "Woaaahhhh easy there Bambi. Try moving like this"
Eddie kept a grip on Buck as the man watched his feet and how he moved and attempted to mimic the movements.
They had been skating for at least an hour before Buck felt comfortable enough to try on his own, staying near Eddie. Eddie smiled as he watched Buck skate, he honestly looked like a new born deer trying to walk for the first time and Eddie couldn't help but smile.
"You're doing great Buckaroo." Eddie called out as he skated past him and turned smoothly and looked at Buck and held out his hands. Buck moved forward and slipped as he reached for Eddie, both falling down.
"Shit sorry Eddie." Buck mumbled as he moved to roll off Eddie and get up but slipped again blushing a furious red. Eddie laughed gently and joked. "It's all good, you're just falling for me."
"Haha very funny." Buck mumbled as he tried to steady himself enough to stand up. Eddie got up and helped Buck back on his feet. A woman and her daughter stopped near them. "You two are really cute together, how long have you been together?"
"First date Actually." Eddie smiled as he held Buck's hand, Buck rolling his eyes and mumbled something about it taking long enough for him to ask.
"You'd have never guessed, you two have a great holiday." The woman said and they waved as they skated off.
"Wanna go get something to eat?" Eddie asked as he wrapped his arms around him. Buck leaned forward and kissed Eddie gently. "Yeah...I need to get off the ice."
"Oh come on, you look real cute recreating Bambi." Eddie laughed as the skated towards the exit.
"Oh God please tell me Bambi isn't gonna stick?" Buck groaned earning a laugh from his boyfriend.
"I guess we'll see."

Pppst I would love to see what you come up with for Buddie doing a snowball fight ❄️💖
"Oh you're ON Buckley, bring it." Eddie said as he stared down his best friend who had just thrown a snowball dead square in his face. Buck smirked as he pulled his other hand out from behind his back and Eddie dove to the side dodging it.
"What the hell was that Eddie? That was the weakest snowball throw I've ever seen in my life. Christopher threw one at me harder than that and he's eight." Buck called out as he hid behind a tree and started forming more snowballs.
Eddie scoffed silently as he stood against the corner of his house, Buck was just within sight behind his tree as Eddie looked around the corner. Eddie had to admit that the man already had an impressive stack of perfectly formed snowballs... and probably had more experience with these sort of things than Eddie did.
Eddie peaked his head around the corner again and swore. Buck had disappeared. Eddie grabbed a few snowballs before cautiously moving from his spot. He caught movement out of the corner of his eye and turned seeing Buck run. Eddie took off after him and as Buck turned to throw a snowball Eddie jumped, yes physically jumped in the air sideways, to dodge it as he threw his own.
"Oh it's so on now Diaz, now this is gonna be a snowball fight." Buck said as he nailed Eddie with another snowball as Eddie rolled over to avoid how face being hit again. Eddie got up throwing two snowballs at Buck before they bolted apart again.
They were at it for three hours. It was the most intense snowball fight Buck had ever been in. At one point Eddie was on the roof. The goddamn roof! Buck had ended up jumping down from where he perched in the tree to get more snowballs when he was blindsided and Eddie tackled him to the ground and hit him with another snowball before rolling off and got up running.
"Jesus Eddie what the hell are you made of?" Buck grumbled to himself before he got up and got a massive snowball ready to go. It was approximately the size of a softball. He rounded the corner and Eddie eyes landed on the snowball.
"Nononono. Nope" He turned around and picked up Christopher, who Buck assumed had just gotten home and turned back to Buck.
"Daaaaaddddd!" Christopher giggled.
"That's just dirty man, how dare you use my favorite person in existence against me. This," Buck motioned between them "is not yet settled. We've got unfinished business."
"I propose a truce, go inside, I'll whip up some nice homemade Diaz hot cocoa, put on some movies and have a fun movie night sleepover?" Eddie said peaking out from behind his smiling son.
"Fine. Only because I love your cocoa and you won't give me the recipe. Hey buddy!" Buck grumbled and disappointedly dropped his snowball as Eddie set Christopher down and the young boy walked over and hugged Buck. "Hi Buck!"
"Sorry Buck but you've gotta be a Diaz to have the recipe. Abuela and Tia would both have my skin if they found out I have it to someone outside the family name." Eddie shrugged as they stomped off their boots and headed inside.
Buck ordered pizza as Eddie went to the kitchen and started the cocoa. Buck plopped down on the couch and Christopher came over and brought blankets with him. "How was the sleepover bud?"
"It was fun. We made Christmas cards. Aunt Hen helped me with mine!" Chris said happily as he showed it to Buck.
"Oh that's really cool Christopher! Is that the three of us?" Buck asked looking at the cover and the young boy nodded with a big grin on his face. Buck opened the card up and smiled looking at the picture drawn before he read it and choked on his own saliva.
"H-hey bud...you realize I'm not you're actual dad right?" Buck said looking at the glittery red words 'You're the best dad's ever'. Chris looked up at him and nodded.
"I know that Daddy is but...you can have two dad's. Like Denny has two mom's." Christopher stated and Buck's heart clenched. "You do the same thing Daddy does."
"Yeah but...it's different little man. See Hen and Karen are together, they're married and love eachother. Your dad and I are just really good friends." Buck said with a small pang in his chest.
"Don't you love Daddy?" Christopher asked with a small look of confusion on his young face. Buck looked down and he couldn't bring himself to lie but he couldn't flat out say yes either.
"It's complicated to explain Chris." Buck said quietly.
"What's complicated?" Eddie asked as he came in carefully carrying three mugs and set them down on the table as he took up a spot next to his son. Christopher showed him the card and Buck couldn't read the expression that passed over his face.
"Ah..." Was all he said for a long moment. He went to say something else but their was a knock at the door. Buck got up before he could hear what Eddie told Chris. Buck answered the door and payed for the pizza and went into the kitchen setting it the box on the counter as he got plates out and set the table.
"Veggie night right?" Eddie said, making a face as he and Christopher walked into the room and sat down as Buck brought the box over.
"Indeed it is, veggies are important Eddie. Besides I don't want to hear anything coming from a man who ate pineapple and mushroom pizza in front of my very eyes." Buck said as he grabbed two slices and began eating.
"Excuse you but that is a fantastic pizza to get you just have bad taste." Eddie muttered.
"I like the veggie pizza more." Christopher said as he ate. Eddie clutched at his chest.
"HA! See at least one Diaz has taste." Buck said as he held up a fist in victory before reaching over and high-fiveing Chris.
The rest of the night was spent eating snacks and watching movies. Eddie looked over at Christopher who was sleeping against Buck and smiled a little. "Guess I should get him to bed."
Eddie got up and stretched before carefully scooping his son up and taking him to his room. Buck grabbed the remaining popcorn and heading into the kitchen. Buck was so lost in thought that he didn't hear or see Eddie enter the room already changed into loose gym shorts and a baggy blue shirt.
"So what was so complicated about explaining that we're just best friends to an eight year old?" Eddie asked inquisitively.
"It's compl-" Buck started but Eddie just looked at him.
"We weren't just talking about that okay, he asked something else that was a little harder to explain." Buck said as he glanced over at his best friend while he dried the popcorn bowl he just washed.
"What was it?"
"What is with the questions man, seriously it's not a big thing Eddie." Buck sighed and dragged a hand down his face. "I should get going, I know you guys wanted me to stay but maybe I should just head home Eds."
"Buck it's late man why don't you just stay over? Seriously, I'll stop with the questions." Eddie said as he moved a little closer to Buck.
"I don't think it's a good idea.." Buck said as he shifted his weight looking anywhere but Eddie.
"What? If it's about the whole Christopher thing man it's all good. He's not exactly wrong, you do all the things a parent does Buck." Eddie said and Buck shook his head.
"You're still having night terrors aren't you?" Eddie said softly and Buck looked up at him silently. Eddie sighed quietly muttering in Spanish. "Buck stay here man maybe... maybe sleeping near someone will help?"
"I don't follow?" Buck said looking at him confused. Eddie swore to any God in existence that Buck could be dumb when it comes to certain things. The man was beyond smart but he was an idiot all the same.
"Sleep with me." Eddie said and at the flush that crossed Buck's face Eddie realized what that sounded like and quickly clarified. "N-not like that I meant the same bed. Not actually...doing anything man. Like next to me."
Buck's brain seemed to short circuit but he managed a slow nod. Eddie bit back the smile begging to make itself known. "Your toothbrush is still in the bathroom and your clothes are still in the guest room dresser. Meet you in the room."
With that he left Buck who was trying to hide the slight trembling in his body. He was going to sleep next to Eddie. In the same bed...with his best friend...who he's been in love with for at least a year now...cool.
Buck grabbed his loose fitting sweatpants and his black shirt before heading into the bathroom and getting ready, and maybe he was taking his sweet time because yeah he was nervous something would happen.
Buck wandered into Eddie's room to find the man sitting up in bed scrolling through his phone. Buck also took note of the fact he was shirtless now and pried his eyes from Eddie's naked torso. Buck moved to the other side of the bed and set his phone down on the small nightstand next to it as he crawled under the covers.
"Dude how are you not freezing?" Buck mumbled as he shivered slightly.
"I'm wondering how you're so damn cold right now man." Eddie laughed as he set his phone down and scoot a little closer to Buck and opened his arms. "It's warmer over here."
"Eddie.." Buck said as he turned and looked at Eddie holding his arms open.
"Evan.." Eddie said softly and Buck's heart skipped a beat. Buck closed his eyes for a moment before deciding he might as well take this opportunity and enjoy it. Buck scoot closer and wrapped an arm around Eddie as Eddie's arms pulled him closer.
"Dios mio Buck you really are freezing." Eddie mumbled against his hair.
"You're a human heater what the hell." Buck mumbled as he had his face nuzzled against Eddie's neck. He shivered again as he felt Eddie's laughter in his chest.
"Guess we balance eachother out." He smiled as he looked down at Buck.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Buck mumbled furrowing his brow. Eddie sighed as he leaned forward and captured Buck's lips and Buck froze, eyes widening momentarily before his brain caught up with everything. Buck kissed Eddie back gently as he pulled himself a little closer to him.
"What do you think that means?" Eddie whispered against his jaw as he trailed his lips across it.
"That I'm dead." Buck said as his breath caught in his throat as Eddie slipped a hand under Buck's shirt.
"No Buck you're not dead, granted you gave me a few scares over the past few years." Eddie sighed as he trailed his hands further up Buck's torso. Eddie captured Buck's mouth again and bit his lower lip causing Buck to moan quietly.
They broke away as they heard Chris cry out in the other room and were both up and in his room in an instant. They both stayed with him until he was calm and sound asleep before heading back to Eddie's room and collapsing back into bed. Buck snuggled up to Eddie and kissed him gently before yawning.
"Night Eddie. Love you" He mumbled as he drifted off.
"Love you too Ev, get some sleep." Eddie said as he closed his eyes and they drifted off to sleep.

This one goes out to @stellarstacey for the following prompt:Cyber Punk/Circus/Christopher/Heavy the head that wears the crown/Love(the emotion I'm going with)
-------
Eddie kept a careful hand on his son as they made their way to the seats. Christopher had been wanting to go to the circus for a while now but Eddie was always busy with work, so when he finally got a day off he thought it'd be a good way to spend it with his son. He'd heard a little bit about Cybertanisa and how impressive it was. All of the animals were completely biomechanical and from what he heard many of the performers were sporting cybernetic limbs and enhancements. Christopher seemed extremely interested in it so what the hell right? Anything to make his boy happy.
They took their seats and waited for the show to start. Christopher was telling him about the biomechanical tigers they use when Eddie caught sight of what he assumed was one of the performers. The man was beautiful, he had blonde hair and piercing blue eyes and a birthmark right above one of his eyes. He was wearing tight black pants and an equally right red and gold vest. The man walked to the center to speak to Ringmaster who nodded to him and blue eyes turned and sprinted off gracefully.
"Isn't that cool dad?" Christopher said as he leaned into his father's side. Eddie felt bad for not catching the last bit of what his son said but smiled down at him seeing how happy Chris looked. "Yeah, that is pretty cool Mijo."
Christopher held onto a little green, bioluminescent rose that he hoped to give to one of the performers after the show. Eddie thought it was sweet of his son and only hoped that he could actually be able to give it to someone.
It felt like hours before it actually started but Eddie had to admit...it was pretty cool. The tigers were quite impressive and able to withstand more heat from hoops and more dangerous tricks. Chris was mesmerized as he watched the tiger stand on it's hind legs and one of the women did a one handed handstand on it's paw before she flipped off and began to do some sort of fire dancing. Her hands were quite literally on fire and Eddie figured that was one of her enhancements. Neat.
Eddie cringed as he watched a man stick 67 swords down his throat but he was pretty impressed. There had to be some sort of cybernetic internal modification. However if it wasn't Eddie was going to be mildly horrified and also most definitely impressed with the man who's name he has already forgotten. Actually Eddie had forgotten all of the names that had been announced tonight and he felt kinda bad about it.
Eddie was listening to Christopher tell him about the twins performing on the trapeze before his breath caught in his throat as the man let go of his sister. A low collective gasp overtook the crowd and Eddie was sure just about every heart in the place stopped before she was caught by someone else swinging in. His legs woven through an aerial hoop as he grabbed her by an arm and launched her to her respective platform before he grabbed the ring and hoisted his legs from the ring as he spun.
"We are proud to introduce the best Aerial performer around, Our very own Evan Buckley!" The Ringmaster called out as Eddie kept his eyes glued to the man who moved through the air so gracefully. He seemed to be a part of the ring he wove himself in and out of dancing in sync to the music Eddie hadn't even realized was playing. He heard Christopher giggle as Eddie watched the man, Evan, hook his left leg through the ring as he swung around the tent in a wide circle.
"What's so funny bud?" Eddie asked his son quietly as he glanced at him. Christopher leaned over closer to him. "You think he's pretty don't you? You've got that look on your face and you've had your mouth open the whole time."
Eddie flushed slightly. "I do not."
"Liar liar pants on fire." Chris giggled as he leaned against his dad and watched the rest of Evans performance. At the end he stood on the ring before dropping down and holding on with his hands, Eddie catching the miniscule hesitation he had before swinging off as someone caught him and he landed safely on a platform.
Eddie couldn't really focus much on the remaining hour and barely noticed when the show has ended until he seen everyone come out and bow. Christopher handed Eddie the rose he had been holding all night so he could applaud everyone, beaming the entire time.
Eddie and Christopher waited until the place was practically deserted before making their way downstairs catching sight of the Ringmaster. "Uh, excuse me sir?"
The man stopped and turned towards them. "How can I help you folks?"
"I'm sorry to trouble you but my son here is...a huge fan of you all and was wondering if he could give this rose to a specific performer? He's been saving it for them for a while." Eddie said as he looked at the Ringmaster who took the two in and glanced around.
"Who're you looking to give it to kiddo?" The man asked Christopher who waved him closer so he could whisper in his ear. Eddie looked at him and raised a brow slightly.
The Ringmaster smiled slightly. "Well you'll find him right over there. Just keep your eyes up and you'll find him. Now you folks have a nice night, hope you enjoyed the show."
Eddie nodded as he followed his son who was looking upwards as he walked and slowed slightly. "M-Mr. Buckley?" Christopher called out quietly as he looked up at the man.
Evan was suspended about 20 feet in the air hanging upside down from his ring. One leg hooked through the ring as he tinkered on his cybernetic leg, synthetic skin hidden as he glanced down and once again Eddie's breath caught in his throat. He was even more beautiful up close. Eddie noticed that the man had eyeliner ringed around his eyes as well as green and gold eyeshadow like many of the other performers.
"Well hello there, how can I help you there buddy?" He said as he looked at Christopher.
"I was wondering if I could give you something Mr. Buckley?" Christopher asked.
Evan smiled broadly as he carefully unhooked his leg and dropped, landing gracefully near the two and walked closer. "Of course you can, and please call me Buck."
"Here you go Buck! I heard that this was your favorite type of rose and Daddy and I found some a while back." Christopher said as he took the rose from his father and held it out to Buck who's smile could rival that of the Suns. Buck crouched down.
"Well thank you, that's very sweet of you buddy. I love it." He said smiling at the young boy. "You are just the cutest kid huh?"
"Thank you I'm glad you like it." Christopher giggled before quietly adding. "You're cute too apparently, at least Daddy thinks so."
"Does he now?" Buck mused as he smirked glancing over to Eddie who was looking at him confused, wondering what his son had said just now.
"You okay with your son being introduced to Lassandra?" Buck asked as he looked at Eddie. Christopher turned to his father and pleaded. "Pllleeaasssseeeeeeeeeee Daddy!!! Can I please see the tiger?"
"Of course Mijo just...be careful okay? I'll be right here Christopher, no running off too far okay?" Eddie replied and the look on his son's face made him melt.
"Hey Chim! Do me a favor and take my new bud Christopher over there to meet Lassandra?" Buck called out as another man came over and smiled.
"Sure thing Buck, come on little man. She's one of the coolest things you'll probably ever see." Chimney said as he walked Christopher over to the pin the tiger was in. Buck walked over to Eddie and held out a hand which Eddie shook.
"So my kid tells me that you're one of the best." Eddie said as he tried not to look over the man shaking his hand.
"Heavy the head that wears the crown." Buck mumbled with a sad smile. "That title came with a heavy price."
"Most things do." Eddie said simply.
"You got a name?"
"Eddie...Eddie Diaz." Eddie answered with a small smile as he watched Christopher touch the biomechanical creature not too far away.
"Well Eddie...you're not too bad yourself." Buck said as he eyed the other man. Eddie flushed.
"I'm sorry?"
"Your kid made the comment that you thought I was cute, you're not too bad yourself Mr. Fireman." Buck said with a lopsided grin. Eddie opened his mouth but Buck spoke again.
"Your shirts not buttoned all the way, caught a glimpse of your badge number and the F.D on your chest. I don't have modded eyes. Only thing not real on me is this." He motioned to his lower left leg. "Lost the real one in a fall a few years back."
"And you're still willing to go up there?" Eddie asked, mildly impressed by the man's observation skills but not commenting on it.
"Don't see why not. Got nothing else to live for outside of this." Buck said honestly.
"You could."
"Not as easy as you think man, we're not all firefighters with a cute kid." Buck mumbled as they watched Christopher laugh as Chimney did something with Lassandra.
"You could be."
"A firefighter with a cute kid?" Buck asked raising a brow.
"Yeah. Don't see why not." Eddie stated calmly as he glanced at Buck who's blue eyes were trained on him.
"Is this your way of flirting?"
"Depends...is it working?" Eddie asked.
"Yeah. Probably only because it's me, doubt it would for anyone else." Buck said with a low laugh.
"I don't need it to work on anyone else." Eddie smiled as Buck laughed again and moved a bit closer.
"You busy tonight?" Eddie inquired as he looked into blue eyes.
"Nope, looks like I have a clear schedule for a while. I just quit my job about .2 seconds ago. Might end up spending my life with this really handsome fellow and his son though." Buck mused as he leaned in towards Eddie.
"That sounds nice." He mumbled to Buck and Eddie closed the distance between them, capturing Buck's lips gently. They broke away laughing slightly as Christopher mumbled, "Ew gross" as he walked back over to the two.
"How about we all head out and go get something to eat?" Eddie said ruffling his son's hair. Both Christopher and Buck nodded in agreement and they headed out into the night of the awaiting city.
(epilogue: Buck becomes a firefighter and marries Eddie and they love happily ever after with Christopher because it's what they deserve)
(p.s. I'm probably going to do a longer fic for ao3 on this prompt if anyone would be interested in that)

Letters to Santa ✉️ / decorations - idk I kinda wanna see Buddie and Chris preparing for Christmas, putting the stockings up etc...a wholesome cozy winter night w the fam
Buck and Eddie had been at the store for hours buying Christmas decorations and were now on their way to pick Chris up from school. Was it a little early? Yeah maybe but who says you can't pull your kid out to help with decorating and spending time with his dad and his Buck.
"Hi Buck!" Chris said happily as he made his way over to Buck who ruffled his hair.
"Hey Christopher, you got everything little man?" Buck asked and the boy nodded as they walked together out to the truck. Eddie greeted them both and helped his son into it before they headed back to the Diaz household.
"What are we doing today?" Christopher asked curiously from the backseat.
"We are going to spend the day decorating Mijo." Eddie said glancing at his son in the review mirror who was smiling brightly.
"Really!?"
"Yep. Figured since Buck and I had the day off we could pick you up early and spend the day together." Eddie smiled.
"Can we do Letters to Santa too?" He asked excitedly.
"Of course we can Mijo." Eddie answered and glanced at Buck who was smiling.
Eddie pulled into the driveway and got out stretching slightly as he helped Christopher out of the truck and Buck grabbed most of the bags. Eddie grabbed the two left before unlocking the door and ushering both of his boys inside.
Buck set all of the bags on the couch and looked at Eddie and Chris. "So...where are we starting? You guys got any traditions you do? Like something you save for last, something that's strictly your things that you don't want me doin?"
"Tree and stockings are always the last things we do, and Buck... I am pretty sure that any traditions we have you're automatically a part of now." Eddie said matter of factly and Christopher nodded his agreement. Buck smiled brightly and grabbed a bag.
"Okay uh I guess let's get started!" Buck said happily as they all set to work.
They had finally gotten most of the house done and were sitting down at the table hanging out after dinner, Eddie making his famous homemade hot cocoa. They sat there working on their letters to Santa, Buck messing around with Christopher trying to peak at his letter.
"Buuccckkk!" He giggled out as he hid his letter. Eddie set a mug down in front of Buck and nudged him.
"No looking at his letter man, Santa's eyes only." Eddie smiled as he sat down and finished up his own letter. Buck sipped at the drink and practically moaned. Eddie and Chris laughed as he set the mug down, whipped cream on his nose.
"Dude you've gotta tell me how you make this." Buck said as he rubbed his nose. Eddie shook his head.
"Sorry Buck but it's a Diaz family secret that abuela taught me as a kid."
"I'm practically a Diaz anyway, your abuela adores me! I'm sure she wouldn't mind at all." Buck said pouting and flashing those big blue eyes at Eddie who's heart fluttered.
"Nope, my lips are sealed." Eddie laughed. "Alright, we're all done with the letters?"
They all nodded. "Okay let's get these stockings and tree topper up and then you, my little man, need to get some sleep."
Buck helped them pin up the stockings and nearly passed out when Eddie held up one that said 'Evan' and pinned it up next to his own. Buck had to keep his eyes on the tree while Eddie put on the topper, his shirt raising slightly.
"Alright buddy, say goodnight to Buck okay? Then I'll get you tucked in." Eddie said brushing his hands off as Christopher nodded.
"Goodnight Buck, I love you." Chris said as he hugged him and yawned.
"Night buddy, I love you too. See you soon okay?" Buck said softly as he ruffled his hair and sat down.
Eddie walked down the hall with his son and tucked him in after he had his PJs on. "Hey Dad?"
"What's up buddy?" Eddie asked sitting on the edge of his son's bed and looked down at him.
"Do you like Buck?" He asked.
"Of course I do Mijo, he's my best friend."
"No like... like like him." The question had caught Eddie off guard slightly as he looked at his son.
"Where'd that come from?"
"Buck likes you, his letter said so." Christopher said quietly.
"Chris you know reading other people's things isn't nice Mijo." Eddie said, voice faltering slightly as he let those words sink in.
"I know but...I just was curious to know what he wanted. I didn't know what adults asked Santa for."
"Next time Mijo you can ask one of us okay?" Eddie said he brushed a curl from his son's forehead.
"Okay Dad. You didn't answer the question though."
"Yeah little man, I like Buck too. Now get some sleep okay." Eddie kissed his head as his son giggled slightly. He got up and closed the door and looked down the hallway.
Buck...liked him? But Christopher could have taken it the wrong way. He could have just meant as a friend, as family or something.
Eddie ran a hand through his hair as he made his way to the living room, Buck looking through his phone. "Hey."
"Hey... Eddie you okay man?" Buck friend looking at his best friend.
"Yeah I'm fine Buck. Just tired."
"I can go ahead and leave man, if you want to get some sleep." Buck said as he set hit drink down to get up.
"N-no you don't have to leave right now Buck." Eddie said as he set a hand on Buck's shoulder. "Can I ask you something?"
"Uh, yeah sure man. What's up, everything okay?" Buck asked as he looked at him. Eddie plopped down on the couch next to him. Eddie furrowed his brows slightly and opened his mouth and closed it a few times.
"You know don't you?" Buck said so quietly Eddie barely heard him. "Look Eddie I-... I can go okay. We can pretend like you don't know and things can stay the way they have been between us."
"That's the thing Buck...I don't want things to stay the same." Eddie said and seen Buck tense up and realised that of course Buck jumped to the worst conclusion when hearing that. "Buck I...I feel the same way okay? I'm willing to try this if you are."
Buck just looked at him for a long time and Eddie shifted to look at Buck. "Can I kiss you?"
"Well...yeah. Besides...we are kinda...under mistletoe right now. I told you the placement of it was bad." Buck whispered as he leaned closer to Eddie who laughed quietly before gently kissing Buck.
"Nah, I think it was in the perfect place." Eddie mumbled as he pulled back slightly and Buck laughed as he pulled Eddie in for another kiss. "Did Christmas come early this year?"
"I don't know about Christmas, but I know someone who might be." Eddie mumbled against Buck's have causing the other to laugh and shudder slightly.
(I honestly really liked doing this one, hopefully all of you do too! ❤️❤️❤️))

4. “Don’t be such a Scrooge.” ♥️
Buck sighed annoyed as he sat on one of the benches in the mall. He had let himself be convinced to tag along with everyone to the mall to do their Christmas shopping and just hang out but somehow he had gotten left out of most things because everyone's SO and kids had tagged along. Everyone but Eddie and Chris had come today because there was a family thing they had to do. So here he sat alone on a bench trying to ignore the oogeling people who passed.
Buck pulled out his phone and was going through his messages when a kid flicked him in his ear. Buck jolted as he whipped his head around and looked at the kid who must have been at least 13. "Dude not cool."
He shook his head and went back to what he was doing when the kid did it again... and again. He looked around and seen a woman approaching and calling out to the kid. "Ma'am I'd really appreciate it if you could talk to your son about keeping his hands to himself, it's-"
"Don't be such a scrooge. It's the holidays and he's a kid." The woman rolled her eyes and walked off with her son. Buck sat there mouth slightly agape but decided to shake it off. It was just one rude kid, he shouldn't let it ruin the rest of his day. Buck took out his headphones and decided to listen to music for a bit to pass time.
Buck was about halfway into this album before something pipping hot was spilled all over his stomach and lap. Buck shot up with a string of curses and ripping out his headphones. "Jesus fuck oh my God oh my God. What the hell man?!"
"Dude it was an accident, chill out. Don't be such a scrooge man. You can get new clothes." The man who had stumbled and spilled his coffee all over Buck. Buck pinched the bridge of his nose and waited to one of the bathrooms to clean up the best he could. He sighed as his phone rang and answered it not looking at the caller ID. "What?"
"Well someone sounds thrilled... Don't be such a scrooge Evan. It's the holidays, a friendly hello would be nice." Eddie laughed jokingly.
"Why does everyone keep saying that!?" Buck practically yelled out in the bathroom, suddenly grateful no one else was in there.
"Buck, you okay man?" Eddie asked, concern suddenly laced in his voice.
"It's...it's been a long day Eddie okay. Let's just leave it at that." Buck groaned as he wiped the sticky drink off his stomach.
"That's fair, hey look are you still at the mall? Bobby said you had wandered off and didn't know if you were still here." Eddie asked and Buck could hear Chris saying hi I'm the background.
"Yeah, I'm in the bathroom by the arcade area. Mind picking me up some clothes from a store? I'll pay you back." Buck asked.
"Uh...yeah sure. But of a weird request but I'm sure Christopher and I can manage to find you something real quick. See you in a minute." Eddie laughed as he hung up and Buck sighed shrugging out of his jacket and waiting.
The door to the bathroom opened and Eddie and Christopher walked in. "We come bearing clothes!"
"Thank God." Buck sighed out as the tension left his shoulders.
"Damn, you look like you've had one hell of a day man." Eddie said as he took out the clothes he had just gotten Buck. Buck thanked him before moving into one of the larger stalls and began changing.
"Yeah that's one way to put it man. Being left out, an annoying kid, a flat tire, hot coffee being spilled all over me... Yeah its been a day Eddie." Buck said as he balled up his clothes and walked out and took the bag Eddie offered. "How about you two?"
"It was fun!!" Christopher shouted out happily before Chris and Eddie both added. "But we can't tell you about it because it's a secret."
Buck gave a questioning look too his best friend who smiled and made a zipped lips motion.
"Would you mind keeping an eye on Christopher while I go take care of something?" Eddie asked, hands resting gently on his son's shoulders and mouthed 'Last minute gift we passed on the way to the bathroom I wanna get him.'
Buck nodded and smiled. "Yeah man of course! Any chance to hang out with my favorite bud I'll take."
Eddie made a fake pained noise and clutched at his chest as Chris giggled. "Ouch, I thought I was your favorite Buck. You wound me my dear friend."
Buck laughed as they left the bathroom and parted ways. "What do you want to do today little man?"
"Ice creaammm" Christopher said happily and who was Buck to deny that bright smile some ice cream. They went and got ice cream and were sitting on a bench outside of a bookstore talking about a new comic book Chris read when once again Buck's luck took a turn.
Now Buck may have been a bit cocky at times but he had a good hold on his temper especially when Christopher was present but this guy made something snap inside of him and he completely blacked out.
"Buck...Evan calm down, calm down." Eddie was in front of him. Extra sets of hands, he later found out were Chimney and Bobby also trying to get him to stay put, loosened their grip.
"I don't-" Buck panted out as his head pounded and he allowed them to steer him back onto the bench. "I-is Chris okay?"
"Yeah he's fine Buck, he told us what happened and he just wants to make sure you're okay man." Eddie said before asking, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah... yeah I'm okay." Buck noticed Eddie's knuckles on his right hand were bruised and frowned. "Are you?"
"Yeah I may have punched the guy to get him off you after he said something about you being a holiday scrooge...but yeah I'm fine. Just some bruised knuckles Buck I'll live."
"Bah humbug." Buck mumbled earning a laugh from everyone as they patted his shoulder.
"Our Buckaroo? A scrooge? Nah, he's just had an off day. We all have them." Hen said from where she stood.
"Let's go get you some new ice cream champ." Bobby said causing everyone to laugh and Christopher was brought around the corner by Karen. Buck smiled at him as Chris threw his arms around him. Maybe today could be redeemed a bit.
(Sorry if this one's not the greatest, and kinda all over the place. Thank you so much for the requests 💙💙💙💙💙💙🥺)
