long time no speak?

just came back from seeing Ram Leela, really really enjoyed it, possibly because the only expectations I had of it were from the first trailer, (yeah I'm kind of behind on everything), and the fact that it was an SLB film, but thankfully I thought it was brill.

this is the first film where I have seen Deepika REALLY act and I'm just so happy, it's a long time coming! also the music is fab fab fab, Ang Laga De is just so beautiful, and what a kiss omg.

had a quick browse of the tag, (uh how long have the tags been so shit to look through??), and a few people complaining about spoilers... it's a Romeo and Juliet adaptation? one of the good things about that it that you actually KNOW how it is going to end, so you don't have to worry about it. also it is SLB, like when did anything like that ever end well?

now watch as I probably disappear again for however many months (sorry!)

Set-Sari (Kerla Saree)

Originally worn by women in Kerala, South India, it is worn as a garment that closely resembles the mundum neriyathum(set-mundu) though it is not considered a true mundum neriyathum by classic definition (the set-sari consists of a single piece of clothing rather than two pieces). It is the cultural costume of women of the Malayali community and thus often referred to as Kerala saree. The grace and appeal of the golden borders contrasting with the otherwise plain white mundum neryathum has come to nationally symbolise Keralite women. Both traditional and modern styles of the set-sari/mundu have gained national appeal as popular decorative clothing.
