During the beginning of your relationship, every time you said or did something besides the regular hand holding or kiss to the cheek he would get caught off guard.

He would freeze for a moment before either quietly questioning you or matching your freak.

PDA is alright in his book just as long as it is only hand-holding and the occasional kiss.

He definitely prefers a more private relationship with his dearest.

He loves when you are affectionate.

Openly drowns in your hands as if your words were the seas itself.

Yes, play with his hair and touch his skin.

Yes, whisper sweet nothings while you hold each other, basking in the moonlight seeping in from the curtains.

And please, just continue to stay by his side.

He giggles like a school girl when you tell him you're coming over before quickly recomposing himself.

I fear I suck at writing for Malleus…

Ed called himself the devil, and the crew his kids, like he was making them into some absurd legend of the high seas. And he kept up a hell of a theater. Everything the crew had asked Stede for at the start, everything they’d seemed to revere in Ed — he produced it tenfold. He looked just like the myth, the monster, the terror, and he made them the same. He did everything to show the world that caricature Izzy demanded. And Edward watched his step, and cried behind closed doors, and didn’t speak. Edward wasn’t seen on deck once after Izzy told him to put him away.

And then after they “talk it through,” and Ed knows decisively he’s failed even this — even his best performance — then he washes his face, and puts his hair up, and shows up smiling and soft-faced to steer them straight into the storm. I think that was Edward on deck, giving up at last on watching his step. Not the Kraken — Edward in despair, because his best bravura performance of the theater of fear couldn’t save or satisfy anyone. And he knew it never would — if they went on like that they’d all die anyway, on someone’s sword, or on the end of the noose.

When he asked Izzy to enlighten him on where he’d gone wrong I do think he wanted to offer Izzy one last chance to admit he didn’t want what he’d demanded from him. But I don’t think he had any real hope that Izzy did regret that. He believed Izzy was going to continue to believe in brutality, to require his performance of Blackbeard until they all mutinied or died, and that no one would stop him; that no one wanted just Ed.

And Izzy then says again to his face that it’s love that ruined everything, not the monstrous performance overtaking their humanity, and that’s what puts Ed over the edge.

He wants the crew to kill Izzy for saying love has ruined them, since he can’t. And when they don’t, he wants Izzy to kill him. (Izzy seems to love that he wants that from him; he beams, and he seems flustered to find he can’t quite do it. He adores that Ed wouldn’t ask anyone else — one final intimacy of shared despair, the death of both their humanity, and he can’t pull it out of himself. He pretends it’s Ed that’s the coward, still.)

And since Izzy won’t end him, Ed steers into the storm, puts on his brightest, bravest performance of Ed the madman, but for once it’s a performance he believes in. He wants the crew to despair of him, the way he has. He wants them to fear him the way he does. He wants their horror, their hatred, as well as his own, if he can’t have anyone’s heart.

I think he wants Jim to fight him instead of Archie — to prove to him that love means something to someone on this ship. And maybe he thinks Jim and the rest deserve to die with him if they won’t put him down and save their loves and spare the world from him. But his euphoric “Finally” makes me think he trusts they will — that they’ll see he shouldn’t live and spare him the decision. That anyone can see he’s earned his end.

It’s horrible, but it’s all he believes is real any more — that there isn’t a place for him on this earth, that the albatross can never land, and that the only peace he’ll get is to be sent under the waves like his father before him, like Hornigold and Jack and the rest — to go down to where the monsters sink when the world is done with them. And when Izzy decides Ed’s request for death is justified, and returns shot for shot, instead of saying he was wrong — Ed is glad. When the rest of the crew finishes what Izzy can’t, Ed welcomes their despair of him. He can’t keep tallying the days on his wall. He can’t bear any more hope.

Which is why I love that we saw in the end, in the in-between, he wasn’t really ready to go. In the quiet of his own soul, without any eyes on him, he was still trying to kill the Hornigold in him who said this is all he was, that he would never be good for anything else, that dying was all he could hope for.

And it’s why I love that Stede didn’t meet him at the surface, in the open air— he dove down into the depths with him. He brought the light with him; he changed the waters from a nightmare into a dream. Ed went from sinking to weightless, just because he realized that there in the depths one person still wanted Edward — one person believed in his love.

Mentor Swap!

Kids swap mentors for a week so they can learn more stuff! I just think it would be fun.

Here's what they learn/try to teach.

Neil and Persephone- There was a reason I had you grow a garden, Neil. Look. You had to work hard, but you made something beautiful.

Atlanta and Ares- You got to watch that temper, kid. I never knew Atalanta, but I knew Achilles really well. He was a friend of mine. His quest for justice, his anger, they got him and a lot of other people killed. There's nothing wrong with convictions. Just think things through before you try starting a war over them.

Archie and Artemis- You're a good kid, but you've got to trust people. You're doing better than Achilles did, but that's not exactly a high bar. What do your friends know about you? That you've told them? Take it from an old woman, life's not worth living unless you're living it with at least one person who really knows you.

Theresa and Hera- You're doing well. You have good ideas and a strong voice. Don't hold your tongue for anyone. Sometimes rocking the boat is what shakes loose the sea monster. We need your good ideas.

Jay and Hermes- You need to let go of somethings Jay. Nobody can do it all. Believe me, you'll just end up burnt out.

Herry and Aphrodite- It's only a little embarrassing, deary. Most people underestimate me and my kids. But there's a reason I've survived so long and that reason isn't that I'm pretty. If there's one thing I want you to learn this week, that's it. You know how powerful love is already, but you see a pretty face and you think it couldn't possibly hide ugly intentions. A beautiful woman couldn't ever be a threat because she wouldn't risk breaking a perfectly manicured nail, right? Talons are beautiful, but they rip the liver out of Prometheus everyday.

Odie and Hercules- I remember Odysseus. He used to think all he had to contribute was that big brain of his. Don't get me wrong, he was a genius, and that saved a lot of lives. But the greatest thing about him, was something that people don't talk about. Something else you inherited from him. You both have good hearts. People love you for that. So you don't have to try so hard, okay tiny?"

But Female Reader is not just a trainer, she was in team Aqua, not as member, but a heir of Team Aqua. She's Archie's, Team Aqua's Boss, younger relative (sister/cousin/niece). While team aqua, she okay with the ideals or ways in this team, yet she doesn't like using extreme actions (ex. using violence), despite that she cares of the members of team aqua, including her leader/older relative, Archie.

Whether Team Aqua's disbanded or not, Reader start her own Pokemon journey, maybe she would be a pokemon coordinator/performer And also she loves to sail, swim, or doing water activities

-When you wanted to go on an adventure, this wasn’t exactly what you were thinking, falling through portal that was torn into reality and sent you to a new world.

-This world fit your vibe, as you were in a world where the ocean was the true power- as most everyone lived on the sea, with ships- either being pirates or marines, or even a few merchants.

-You wished you could have shown Archie, your big brother, this- he was always so adamant that the ocean would take over the world, and while you didn’t agree with some of his methods, using violence, you did admire his ambition.

-If he could see this world, seeing a world where the sea was the focus of everything- he would love it.

-You had to learn this world was nothing like the world you came from, people were ready to kill one another, and the moment some of these people saw your Pokemon, they were fully ready to kill you for them- wanting their power for themselves.

-That’s why you were grateful to the one crew who saw your Pokemon as unique and cool- thinking they were some type of Sea King, which you learned were aquatic monsters that lived in the ocean.

-This crew welcomed you in to theirs, the Straw Hats, and while you would always be loyal to Team Aqua, as you were loyal to your brother, you never felt more at home with the Straw Hats- they made you feel so welcomed and so safe in this new world.

-They were curious about your previous world, as they wanted to know more about your Pokemon, as Luffy was being hugged by your Swampert- your partner and longest friend.

-They all wanted to come to your world, to see what it was like to not worry about constantly looking over their shoulders for enemies, while you were learning how to do that now.

-They weren’t bothered that you were part of an ‘evil’ organization, as they didn’t really see it as overly evil, other than the violence- they saw your brother as someone who loved the sea and wanted to flood the world to make a massive ocean.

-Since you had no idea how you came to this world, other than the tear in reality, so you didn’t really know how to get home or get them there, for either a visit or permanently.

-When you learned of Luffy’s dream, to become the Pirate King, as well as the dreams of everyone else in the crew, you couldn’t help but smile- they were so motivated and willing to help each other achieve their goals.

-It made you think as your Milotic was curled around you, keeping you company while you were on watch duty, what was your dream?

-Originally you believed you wanted to help Archie achieve his dream, but after both Team Aqua and Team Magma were dissolved, you went on a journey, exploring the world around you, battling, and you had been learning to become a coordinator, but you did that for fun- it wasn’t really a dream.

-As you watched Sharpedo and Gyarados, your final two Pokemon, swimming around the ship, protecting it from the bottom, you couldn’t help but smile- perhaps you would finally find a dream in this new world, with your new and old friends.

In this AU, and in this given time frame, the UnderRealm aristocracy is made up entirely of either monsters or spirits who were born and raised in the UnderRealm. Lore (What's Different from PM/OFMD?)

Grinny/Oscar - The child of a feline-monster from the UnderRealm, and a half Taino woman from Puerto Rico. His mother was dragged to the UnderRealm by his father when she was a young lady, and lived in an abusive situation with him, until Oscar kills his father when he's 12. He runs away from home after this, and joins the crew of Captain Doyle (Hornigold for this AU - I have yet to draw another version of him for this AU, so here's @oakmovies rendition of him on IG). There, he meets Sam and Shadowlurker, and after they mutiny Doyle, he goes on to make a reputation for himself as the feared monster pirate Captain Grinny.

Jeff and Liu - Since Black Pete and Jim Jimenez in OFMD are not at all blood siblings the way Jeff and Liu are, but I was already set on them being these characters, I've created this backstory for them:

Jeff and Liu grow up with their family on a blood orange farm in St. Augustine, when one Christmas night, a gang known as the Siete Búhos attacks and kills their entire family. Instead of killing the siblings as well, they mutilate them, and set Jeff, and the rest of the farm, on fire.The two siblings manage to run away from the burning farm, and are taken in by a Satanic Nun.

The Nun raises them to master the art of killing, but only for the purpose of revenge. Jeff, however, has a different idea, and uses his new skills to rob and kill people for money. The nun acts to kick Jeff out of the convent, but Liu refuses to be separated from their brother, and leaves with him. Eventually, they meet Eyeless Jack, who gets them a job with Spanish Ann.

However, they find out that one of her husbands is the leader of the Siete Búhos, so one night, they get him drunk enough to restrain, torture, and kill him. After Ann finds out about this, she puts a price on Liu's head, and Jack has to escape with the two siblings, where they then join Widemouth's crew among The Retribution.

“Y'see, us Sharpedo hybrids aren't that scary,” Archie argued, “You just have to get to know us! I only get aggressive if the ocean is getting polluted.” He felt quite happy to preach at a group of Sharpedo enthusiasts on the beach. They listened intently. A few were interspersed wearing a familiar banana that he recognised as his crew. It was nice to help teach people that Sharpedos were not some monstrous bunch that lurked the ocean for their next prey. Well, not all of them anyway. Some could be quite violent and brutal – truly loaning themselves to their prescribed title by humans. The bully of the sea. Archie was not that. He was a protector.

Yet, creeping out of the water curiously was another Sharpedo hybrid. Archie wanted to remark that he looked quite sickly, with his pale skin and dark under eyes, but one glance at the tone of his tale showed a different story. He was healthier than one might think. What brought him around? He was not sure. Definitely was not from these waters. That was all he could ascertain. The crowd glanced curiously at the newcomer, clearly interested in who he was or what he might do.

“Oh, man, are we not that scary?” The newcomer questioned, “… I do wonder about that boat that I bit a piece out of earlier then. I did go by quite fast… A risk for all involved.” Archie gasped. He had listened in apparently and was now trying to undermine everything that was said. The crowd seemed a bit more uncertain, but his crew backed him up still. Of course, they did. They knew Archie was not some violent monster that came running at the scent of blood without thought or reason.

“An' why'd you do that?” the bigger man replied and crossed his arms, “What do you get out of attackin' random boats? A harpoon shot at ya?” Archie only attacked boats if they were going into protected zones or actively hurting the sea. He did not really prefer attacking humans if he could avoid it. His mate was one, after all. Best not to upset them. They might fillet him or something. “Don't you have a human you care for?”

Grimsley shrugged and let the waves lull him closer to the sands of the beach. “I do,” he replied, “But, they don't travel by boat.” Archie now felt frustrated. Well, someone might! They had to share the waters even if he did not like it himself. “If they are in my territory, they are just asking for it,” he caught himself before he was pushed entirely onto the shore, “I'm pretty well known back in Unova... Though, I did get chased off. A friend in Alola gave me a place to stay, but I ended up swimming off on a whim.”

“And? You still didn't learn to stop attacking boats after that?” Archie honestly felt nervous, seeing him near all the people on the beach. He moved closer himself.

“I'm a thrill-seeker,” the response was light. His icy blue eyes watched Archie's actions closely. “… Ah, do you think I'm really going to attack humans directly?” a small chuckle left him, “That's a death sentence in my usual experience. Or, well, if you get caught, it is.” With that, he seemed to grow bored with the crowd and treaded back into the deeper waters. Grimsley took one last glance at the people crowded on the beach before disappearing under the waves and swimming off.

Archie swallowed. That definitely would set him back. “… I'm not friends with that knave,” the Sharpedo hybrid could see the panic present on some of their faces, “That's one of the ones you need to avoid. He's probably lyin', too. I can't think of anyone who has gotten away with attacking a human.” He desperate glance at his crew had them gearing to help calm the situation. Now, Archie had a new enemy.

I’ve only had sea monster!Archie for around a day and a half, but if anything happened to him, I would first kill everyone in this room and then myself

Ok I have some thoughts

So Ed got slammed in the head with a fucking cannonball. I know this show doesn’t exactly rely on real life logic, like ever. I mean people get stabbed and are up and around in two days, they have no problem finding each other in a massive sea. But Ed’s been effectively dead for days, if not weeks based on the way they were eating that seagull. He’s gonna be severely dehydrated and starved from being comatose, and have major head trauma. He’s not just gonna get up, it’s a wonder he has the strength to headbutt Stede.

But severe head trauma can seriously fuck with your memory. So there’s a huge question of what version of Ed we’re gonna get: Blackbeard pre-Stede, Ed with Stede, or post-Stede. Bc those are three TOTALLY different people. I doubt we’ll get that season one fawning over Stede version of Ed, based on the headbutt and the fact that it would be a narrative step backward, but it’s still a possibility that he’ll wake up and be in love with Stede like before. But I think pre-Stede Blackbeard is as likely as having no memory loss at all.

If he does have memory loss, it begs the question of what everyone is gonna do with that. Like Stede is feeling so much guilt for what he did to Ed, and he’s learned that guilt is something you have to express and have to live with. But reminding Ed of everything they both did and went through could have Ed leave him. Stede has never been the one to take the easy route, but he loves Ed so much and has been doing the hard thing for so long, he’s gotta just be tired. He almost lost Ed several times now, he can’t risk losing him again.

Meanwhile the rest of the crew probably would love for Ed to go back to the way things were, but he’s destroyed everything they’d worked so hard for. And he and Stede are both so unwilling to think of other people or take responsibility for their actions. I really don’t think they’ll allow Ed to go on like nothing happened, at least not for long. Izzy in particular has shown himself to be very concerned with the wellbeing of the crew, and is living with this guilt of turning Ed into a monster. As much as he now misses the way things were, he can’t just ignore what Ed did.

But Lucius has been through hell and though he seemed to forgive stede idk how he could forgive ed after trying to help him so much in the finale. Though I do wonder if he really cares about ed anymore, like even in terms of wanting revenge, like what he said about ed being broken kinda feels like totally giving up and just accepting that he’s a bad person and there’s no closure to be found there. I also really wonder if he’s gonna tell Pete about what ed did, because he didn’t initially and I think it would have been mentioned if he told him when stede finally got them to talk. Pete idolized ed so much but he loves Lucius so much I really think if he finds out he’s gonna kill him. Like Lucius will be mad but I do think he’s given up on it but for Pete it’ll still be so fresh and he’ll be protective.

As for the rest of the crew, I’m not sure how they’ll react. The fact that Ed marooned them really hasn’t come up, and that makes me wonder if they’ve somewhat gotten over it? For Ed’s crew, however, everything is still fresh, and it was so much worse for them. Whether Ed is the same person or not, nobody’s gonna get over him trying to kill them all. Fang I think would love to go back to the way things were, Frenchie is currently holding everything in. The ones I’m worrying about are Jim and Archie. Archie is a wildcard, and has not experienced the compassion and love of the crew “that’s just the way these things go.” She’s cynical, and while I think Jim and the crew could soften her and we’ll learn more about her, I think right now she could go either way.

Jim however, dealt the killing blow. Jim took care of Izzy, amputates his leg, saves Archie. But they still hesitate to tell Stede what really happened. I think a lot of Jim has moved on from that revenge driven killer, at least in season one, and has softened a bit. But they’ve been raiding and plundering and killing for months. They’re brutal in the wedding scene.

Jim strikes me as very protective of the crew, in the same way as Izzy. They calm down Fang with their weird little Pinocchio, they’re the one to bring up that the wedding was overkill, they ask Frenchie how he copes. They “kill” Ed. I think it’s a real possibility that they’re gonna try to finish the job, especially if he doesn’t lose his memory. If he does, I think they’ll hesitate.

Anyway I’m so excited to see what happens, no matter what I know it’s gonna be crazy.

Sacred Animal Headcanons for The Descendant Heroes

I have been on another Binge-Watch on “Class of The Titans” lately and only in a first few episodes, I wanna give out my very own personal headcanons of Animal Symbols for each of the Main Characters (who are Descendants of the Heroes from Greek Mythology) based on their own Ancestors’ story.

Jay (Descendant of Jason) - Ram

A Ram for Jay would obviously make a lot of sense in a case for his Ancestor, considering that Jason was the Leader of the Argonauts that traveled through the Sea to find the Golden Fleece so that he could reclaim a kingdom on his own for his own relative.

Atlanta (Descendant of Artemis) - Deer

Artemis’ main associated of an Animal was a Deer. Deer were obviously a symbol of her Hunt, especially the Ceryneian Hind. In fact, Artemis did had a chariot of her own run by Four Deer. Giving on how Atlanta’s name is a reference to “Atalanta” (A Woman who was favored by Artemis herself). Not to much that Atlanta runs really fast like a Skilled Deer.

Herry (Descendant of Hercules) - Lion

Herry has a lot of similar strengths to his own Ancestor. Among Hercules’ stories was his 12 Labors. Throughout the Twelve Labors of Hercules, Hercules’ first labor was the Nemean Lion who he easily strangled as stories did say that he wore the Nemean Lion’s pelt throughout his own adventures. So a Lion for Herry would make a delightful common sense among Hercules giving on how that he was one of the strongest children of Zeus.

Archie (Descendant of Achilles) - Horse

Achilles is one of the most popular heroes around in Greek Mythology, in fact, The Trojan War is one of the most biggest Myths of all time. A Strongest Warrior who was the son of the King Peleus and even the Sea Nymph, Thetis. However, Achilles was trained by the Centaur, Chiron (the Trainer of Heroes) to become a Future Warrior. In case for a little suggest of a sacred animal for a Non-God, I think Achilles’ symbol for Archie would be a Horse giving on how some Horses can have a suicidal tendency in them (which does seem to work for Archie’s leg).

Theresa (Descendant of Theseus) - Bull

Now a sacred animal for Theresa through Theseus has to be an easy one. Her own Animal Symbol would be a Bull, considering that Bulls were indeed one of the most popular and divine creatures in all of Greece. In fact, her own Ancestor’s famous story was about slaying the Monster (the Minotaur) after when Poseidon cursed King Minos’ Wife (Paisphae) to fall in love with the Cretan Bull who the King was supposed to sacrifice. 

 Odie (Descendant of Odysseus) - Ox

Odie has the same intelligence as his ancestor, Odysseus (who was a trickster of a Hero with such Smart Brains throughout the Trojan War and even the Odyssey). One time around in Homer’s “The Odyssey”, Odysseus felt really starving as he ate any of the Cattle. Now Oxs and Cows are considered to be part of the Bovine Family, so I’d like to think that an Ox would suit for Odie giving on how some of the Oxen can actually be smart.

Neil (Descendant of Narcissus) - Peacock

Narcissus was more of a Vain Hunter who couldn’t care less if anyone would to fall for him (in this case for two of his victims, Echo and Ameinias). He wasn’t so much of a Hero but more of a Narcissistic Jerk. After when Aphrodite cursed the Hunter into looking at his own reflection just to fall in love with himself, he died as a Flower. Peacocks are often portrayed as Vain and Proud in some media despite the fact that they were mainly depicted as Beauty (as to this day for Real-Life Peacocks). A Peacock would work for Neil giving he shares some of his narcissistic personality from his Ancestor.

Now that she is not dwelling over her own death, the anger seeps in. A righteous, blessed anger, at not just her parents but merchant society and the whole damn island that broke her and her brother. They were children. Babies tossing coins into wishing wells thinking that a tiny circle of metal might somehow banish the monster from their house. They never should have been trapped in that manor house, any more than Jim or Lucius or Frenchie or Izzy or Archie or Fang should have been trapped by their sea god.

“Fuck that place,” Mel spits as she takes another swig of rum. It burns going down, as hot and sour as her fury, and she relishes it. She'll take the heat of grog over the chill of a gaol cell any day. “Fuck being seventeen and knowing you'll never make it out and accepting that you're destined to die." She passes the bottle back to Lucius. “Because we did, you know? We made it out. Fuck him. Both of them. We made ourselves a family, a home, beyond what they wanted for us.”

“Fuck yeah,” Lucius says, raising the bottle in the air, cheering her statement. "Fuck him. Eat shit, Solomon and Elizabeth Spriggs." He downs a large gulp of rum while sending a middle finger to the sky.

And Mel cannot help the giggle that bubbles up through her throat, escaping bright and wild into the ocean air.

Going home can be a comfort for some, but it would never have been a comfort for her. Anguilla holds only ghosts; the Revenge holds life. It holds lantern light and music and love.

Because finally, Mel has this. The thing that she and Lucius could never have as children, when they were too scared of who might overhear. They have a shared anger, a shared catharsis. They get to complain together, bitch together, exist together without sins or memories weighing them down.

Something about reading Mel and Lucius' heart-to-heart rewired my brain a bit after the amazing arc they had in Season 3 and I'm not going to be over it anytime soon. Clearly I'm not over it now because I've been thinking about these two and their complicated, loving, trauma-bonded dynamic and them finally getting a sense of catharsis for the past week and a half.

(In which I have been rotating this song in my head for these two for weeks now and I don't care if I already did a moodboard for their dynamic, I'm posting a second one because I have FEELINGS, alright?)

Sonic Prime - Frame by Frame

Hi,

I've seen and now taken tons of frames from the newest Trailer. Some are just funny, but you'll notice "odd stuff" in some. So, let's dive right into them. Also, this will be a very long post ;-)

I don't mind the 4th wall breaking, but I wonder how often, or if it will be there. The opening looks like it could be trailer-exclusive.

It's just for a frame, but we can see Sonic and Shadow being knocked back. This means both are evenly matched regarding the raw power of their spin-dash/homing attack. Which is no surprise XD

It seems not all Badniks have a Flickie.

We can conclude, Dr. Eggman also cracked the Paradox Prism. Or the sparks were caused by the forceful removal. I wonder if we will learn why that stone exists, who created it, and why it was in Green Hills. There is definitely a lot of worldbuilding that can be explored.

It's hard to see, but I wonder if those letters are based on any existing language or inspired by games. It would be cool to find out those aren't random "words". Also, notice the red dot which is the ShatterPortal (Let's call it that ;-)).

I really love how we get to see "Mobians". And it seems we may get a decent amount of variants. Also, it begs the question if we will see more humans outside of Eggman. It would be the first time since Archie we would get humans and Mobians living together and not separately.

I can't help but think Sonic can't run as fast as he should. Could it be possible that he can run fast thanks to his shoes as suggested in old Genesis manuals? It would be probably too similar to Shadow, but given his shoes are all sparkly, it's possible. That could also explain why he needs new shoes and gloves per universe.

I really like how each mecha is different. Also, I think we have seen only 3 out of 5 in this trailer. Unless those two Eggmen have something different.

Basically except for the fully blue-haired one, everyone is based on the old concept art. I really wonder what individual quirks they have :-D Also one of them seems to have a visible tattoo that is quite big. You don't see that often :-D

I can't help but think Tails have both of his tails. Right behind him, you can see something like two tips. But it may be just one tail with a split end. Tails also may have those mechanical legs because he can't fly even with two tails, or to increase his combat potential. I can also see him being more cynical or sarcastic, showing he is less optimistic.

Terminator Amy, nothing else can be said XD I wonder if we will get a flashback of how she ended up like this. Also, it may be possible she is completely mute, giving her more Metal Sonic vibes.

Primal Flickies used to be huge :-D Also, Amy is a bit of a less cavehog in this case. I really love the use of leaves for clothing. Froggy is there too :-D And Tails is examining something in the background. This fox will always be the brainiac :-D

I just find it interesting, that Rouge's sword looks so different from the other two.

Only the best of the best pirates have hot-air ballons on their ship :-D Notice Amy in the background by the helm. Also, I love Knuckle's clothes here, and his dreadlocks got a small but cool makeover.

Did Sonic steal Knuckle's hat? XD Also, Big is there too. Now to find Froggy. (It would be way past cool if Froggy turned out to be a giant sea monster Big befriended XD)

These robots are exactly the same as in the Dystopia world! And they are in Pirate world now! That may mean a few things.

One of the Dystopia Eggmen is after Sonic, chasing him through the multiverse.

For some reason, the Eggman of each universe uses the same robots. Maybe because of the Paradox Prism.

There is another Eggman, that provides his robots to "lesser" Eggmen to control the Shatterverse.

Any other ideas?

Could there be a piece of Paradox Prism, that acts as a gateway to the ShatterVoid? I wonder if anybody else can use it to hop between dimensions?

There seem to be Knuckles under the ship. It can be a flashback or an outcome of the battle with the robots.

It seems Sonic is deep in thought and realizing what mess he had made. It's refreshing to see him being so serious. I wonder if this moment is in the first episode where he decides to stand against The Council and fix everything. Not that he wouldn't want before, but this isn't your everyday banter with Dr. Eggman he knows. He needs to mature to be the hero he thought he is.

Do you see the portal? Could it be possible for Sonic to leave Dystopia World (by accident or by choice) and get back later to fight The Council? Because the next few seconds are from one scene.

First thing, lovely shot. And... Rouge has some sort of knife on her soles! And a different style of heels! And it seems her main partner is Knuckles since we can see them almost always together in this trailer. It may not mean much, but it would be a nice teasing for Knuckles x Rouge shippers :-D

It's also interesting to see that, despite the chase, citizens seem indifferent. Shows how their will is broken, and they just try to survive.

Also, I have to wonder why Sonic looks so "concerned" or "worried". He should be able to run just fine with his new shoes. I wouldn't be surprised if those robots are tougher to beat. But it may be just a frame from his usual smile.

Have you noticed those weapons are literally taped together? Such a neat detail that tells a lot about their resources. It's also interesting how all of them are surprised by Sonic's speed. Could this be possibly the first time he had shown it to them? Or it was Sonic returning to aid them after leaving?

Of course, leave the best for the end! It seems Shadow's involvement will be bigger. And unlike Sonic, he may be stuck in between dimensions. This may be because he used his Chaos powers to protect himself, making his situation worse or better.

Worse - He is stuck in between.

Better - He may be in a similar position as Sonic, allowing him to search for a way to fix the mess.

But also, he seems to be more friendly toward Sonic than in most of his incarnations. He sounds urgent, not angry or aggressive. Maybe he will be able to point Sonic in the right direction where to find shards of Paradox Prism or something that can prevent from the multiverse collapsing.
