- exercise and allergy asthma. you'd never notice with how temperate it is for the most part, but its the transitional seasons and winter that gets him the most.

Really self indulgent headcanon post but bigender (male/female) Pyro is so so so important to me (a female/male bigender person) it literally saved my life to think about so I'm gonna ramble about it

On the surface it doesn't really make sense because you'd think I'd find a more transmasc-adjacent headcanon to be more comforting (am transmasc-adjacent myself) but lemme try to articulate why I'm so attached to transfem-adjacent bigender Pyro in particular:

Basically, I'm never really dysphoric about looking masculine/the idea of sometimes having male traits, so when I do get dysphoric it's because of my female traits/that I look "too feminine" to pass as a guy. My headcanon is that Pyro has the opposite problem (is very comfortable with looking feminine/the idea of sometimes having female traits, struggles to pass when in girlmode and gets dysphoria over it)

Idk I think I like it because when I'm in guymode lamenting "who'd ever want to look like a woman" I can think of Pyro in girlmode thinking "who'd ever want to look like a man" and it's kind of nice thinking that my fave would be totally comfortable with femininity when I sometimes am not.

Also it's nice thinking that Pyro doesn't pass in girlmode (and still wears dresses/feminine things in guymode so it's hard to tell which way he's feeling) but is still respected by everyone (friends and family of course but strangers will also just switch from "he" to "she" or vice versa if corrected) because well hey I don't really pass in guymode either and I'm non-hrt so it's nice to create a headcanon where Pyro also doesn't pass and isn't on hrt but is still happily out of the closet and respected by people. Maybe someday I will get there too :')

"How do people tell the difference between girl and guy Pyro if she doesn't pass?" you may ask...well, Pyro is fine with either he or she (or both alternating) most of the time, usually defaulting to "he" but he'll correct you if she's in a more "she" mode of expression. Also when casually dressed/out of her suit, she'll wear name and pronoun pins, sometimes wearing both names and pronoun sets if he doesn't care or feels ambivalent about what he wants to go by that day.

Bigender he/she Pyro is basically canon to me...like Scout says about Pyro, "he's not here, is she?" in Meet the Pyro and there's literally everything else in the videos and comics about Pyro possibly being a woman (or not)...it is because she is indeed a woman and he is also a man...thank you for coming to my ted talk :)
