i drew this right after reading comic 7 and then i forgot about it, oops

I like to think of when Scout and the others went to Russia to get heavy back, Bronislava asks Scout about Sniper. Talking about her imagined version of him, asking what he’s like and Scout ends up on a “repressed bisexual” rant about him

“I mean yeah he’s handsome…He’s super rugged, but not like movie star rugged like…real rugged. Like always has 5 o’clock shadow even if he just shaved, chest hair, a deep gravely voice, muscles you don’t know are there until you wrap your arms around him. He hides them under his baggy shirt and vest”

“really?…what else?”

“He’s outside a lot, hunting and carving stuff out of wood, real outdoorsy. And you’d think someone like that would smell like dirt and bugs but he always smells nice. Some of the guys make jokes about how he would smell weird but he never does! He smells like outside, but like..in a good way? Not like dirt or anything smelly, but like..fresh earth, like a campfire, sometimes even flowers. Like he was laying in a meadow or something..”

“…I see-“

“ And his smile sure is something. He doesn’t smile much, he’s usually got this scowl that says ‘I don’t care about anything’. But when he does smile it’s always special, cause it’s like you’re one of the few people he’ll really smile at. Like you’re important or something…I don’t know, anyway yeah, he’s a cool guy”

And Bronislava’s just sitting there thinking “oh my, I guess the sniper isn’t as available as Misha described him”
