If I had a nickel for every time a recent film adaptation of a beloved character has a scene of them in their younger years, I’d have five nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened five times over three years.

Say that you want, but I have no regrets of saying that Scoob! is one of my favorite films. And it’s because of these two.

And not just because of Jason Isaacs and Billy West’s performances, but the side plot of why Dastardly was trying to open the gates to the Underworld. Muttley, whether Dastardly will say it or not, is Dick’s best friend (probably the only one he has).

I just can’t stop watch this scene since day one of the film’s release.

It's my favorite part in the film. I swear when Dastardly starts to cry while apologizing to a presumed dead Muttley, it almost sounds like Jason broke down in tears while recording. I don't know if that's true or not, but you feel the human emotions coming out of Dastardly. I wanted to cry along with Dastardly. But when Muttley revealed himself to be alive.... I was like: "MUTTLEY! That wasn't very nice! You scared me!"

So far, Muttley, Dynomutt, Courage, and now Krypto have made appearances.

What other dogs (or animals) from franchises/shows/movies do you think should cross over with Scooby-Doo next?

Edit: Bandit! I can definitely see them crossing over with Jonny Quest.

I just remembered that I once watched the Scooby-Doo movie from 2020 in full length, for free, on a porn website that starts with x and is referring to rodents.

It was very good quality, even though I was surprised that I even found that.

It tuens out 13 shimejis and an animated background of gojo breathing does Not do wonders for my 13 year old pc that hasnt had a hardware update since the graphics card died in 2020 but what am I supposed to do. Not see gojo breathing animation every time i start up ?

Ok so I watched the 2020 Scoob! Movie and Fred just looked like Aged up Adrien and Aya was Velma looking with a haircut.

I couldn’t resist.

Then I thought… they would have found Hawkmoth’s identity a lot earlier if they had Scoobie.

“Adrien I am your father.”

“I am also bad at fashion.”
