Ok so I watched the 2020 Scoob! Movie and Fred just looked like Aged up Adrien and Aya was Velma looking with a haircut.

I couldn’t resist.

Then I thought… they would have found Hawkmoth’s identity a lot earlier if they had Scoobie.

“Adrien I am your father.”

“I am also bad at fashion.”

So yesterday I watched Scoob! And it wasn’t as good as I thought it’d be but it was still pretty good

I was a little mad at how they characterized Fred but also he was still Fred so it was okay. This version was sort of one of my favorites too but he still kind of just felt like a different character all together

Also it definitely made me ship Fraggy a little bit

And the scene with Fred running at the monster because he was mad about the mystery machine was pure gold

And the gang realizing they they were annoyed with each other because they were hungry was pretty funny

So I watched Scoob! (2020) tonight while babysitting and it was fine.

Very all over the place and idk there was like a lot going on lol the Blue Falcon part didn't feel part of it even tho... like that was the movie?? I don't know how to explain it but maybe that...it felt like the characters were just going through events? Rather than a plot? Like there's a "plot" but it doesn't feel like it. It could had have a lot more quiet moments or character interaction that weren't filled with memes or jokes? Doesn't make it horrible but it was very empty to me.

And why was Simon Cowell there lol I mean it was kinda funny but I was like "huh?"

There were a lot of parts I did laugh at so it's not horrible but I was mostly wondering about the cohesive plot flow and again there was sort of one but idk just barely.

Also the... ending with Shaggy sacrificing himself for Scooby but then he immediately comes back like idk it just seemed... like they didn't know how to end it so they threw that in for the sad factor and then was like "wait we only have 2 mins left....uhh Alexander the Great had uhhh a back door for his best friend!" Idk maybe if it happened earlier and... had Scooby and the gang a week or some time later ? Let's say a week gone by from the events of closing the door right? And Scooby is all sad and misses his best friend and the gang also are all sad and miss Shaggy. Even with the Blue Falcon gang popping in or staying nearby like "we can't just let this happen we have to help find a way to being Shaggy back!" And then que them and Velma going over the prophecy or whatever and uh maybe she finds the collar of Alexander the Great's dog and it has the part about the "back door" and it's this huge discovery and THEN have Shaggy come back?

Idk I just felt it was a weird rushed and shoe-horned ending to me.

2/5 some of the jokes and timing got a chuckle from me. The animation was okay i expected it to look more....idk more impressive but it was okay. The plot was barely there like it felt like an outline of a plot? It's a nice movie with nice parts but i probably wouldn't have watched it if the kids didn't wanna watch it tonight lol but it wasn't horrible. Nice watch to turn brain off and chill I guess

I just re-watched SCOOB!, and look what I noticed during the first few minutes.

Shaggy has a poster of the Impossibles, suggesting that he is a fan of them. He is, perhaps, one of the few male boy band fans I know of. Then, there's this scene.

There were even three kids dressed like the Impossibles' superhero forms! It looks like even in a modern-day Scooby-Doo universe, the Impossibles have fans. C:

What other dogs (or animals) from franchises/shows/movies do you think should cross over with Scooby-Doo next?

Edit: Bandit! I can definitely see them crossing over with Jonny Quest.
