The Truman Show must've been so boring if you were in the wrong timezone. All the Americans would be like "wow look at his day to day activities" and the Australians just get a live feed of Truman sleeping.

The memes woulda been like "when you tune into The Truman Show but he's just sleeping again:

You know it was also such a good plot device for fics too so that we can skip to the next scene.

Concept: Ladybug loudly saying “beep-beep, oh no, look at my earrings, gotta go!” to get out of uncomfortable/embarassing post-battle discussions.

It’d totally work, too, mostly because Chat Noir would be too busy rolling on the floor with laughter to actually call her out on it.

When you've been a writer for long enough, commas become more of a spiritual practice than a grammatical one.

Could I explain the actual rules of how they’re used? Absolutely not.

Do I rely on sensing a tremor in the force to tell me where to use them? Yes and this has never failed me even once.

Who is running this dern thing?

We've been compiling information about zine history for Miraculous to include in this zine, and it's become apparent that not every zine's "editorial staff" is available.

So, with that in mind, and for posterity's sake, the editorial staff for miracu10us is comprised of:

A very brief summary of us as if we were a single person: publishing industry; graphic design industry; co-run various Miraculous events (including the Big Bang, Fandoms for Palestine, and Kagami Appreciation Week); and this one totally unknown artist who has made zero beloved AUs and who definitely doesn't have a well-subscribed Patreon.

As far as updates go, things are chugging along rather nicely, and we're on track. A number of our artists have completed pieces, we've got a few finished fics, some drafts, some critical analyses, statistics about the fandom, some fandom history, some interviews with creators, information gleaned from the fandom surveys we put out in the summer, and a lot more!

And it's still over three months out from the release!

so I've seen many, many posts bemoaning the fact that for most fandoms on Ao3, reader engagement has dwindled like tadpoles in a heatwave. and it's not just author-reader -- some readers even say their favorite writers aren't posting as much, if at all

"the fandom is dead," authors say, and I am here to say no. your fandom is not dead

as a fanfic writer starting in 2019, I got used to tons of comments and reader engagement. but note the dates there: 2019-2023 were the golden years of fanfic.

because they were the years we were all trapped in our houses by a global trauma with nothing but time and keyboards.

our fandoms aren't dead. our fandoms have writers and readers who no longer have the time they used to have a few short years ago for fandom

So I watched all of Miraculous for the first time in like 7 years. I hadn’t kept up with it since season 4 but with the new season coming out I binged it all again

It brought me back to simpler times of being a weird ass kid drawing ponies and being on Am*no… it was nice

But this is a redraw of Chat from when I was like 15. Sufficient to say I’ve learned to draw backgrounds and knees
