🧾 BACK TO SCHOOL RECIPE - 📑BOOKMARK THIS ONE 🍪⁠ ⁠ 💻️ It seems that 'almost' everyone is heading back to work and/or school tomorrow! I have my first born embarking on her first day of high school, and I can't promise I won't cry 😢. In a blink of an eye, our baby is all grown up. 👶🏽 👉🏽 👧🏽⁠ ⁠ That means I've been busy making some home-made treats for lunch boxes - yep it's that time of year again.⁠ ⁠ I'll start great - make lots of healthy snacks - then get tired 🥱 and buy packaged food 🤣 I'll give it a good go though! Anyone else with me on this>⁠ ⁠ These beauties are our super easy choc chip cookies - healthy, high in protein and no refined sugars. If you're school is nut free you can sub out the almond flour for regular flour.⁠ ⁠ RECIPE 👇🏽⁠ ⁠ 1 ½ cups almond meal⁠ 1 cup plain flour⁠ ½ cup coconut sugar⁠ 1/3 cup melted coconut oil⁠ 2 tablespoons almond butter or seed butter⁠ ½ teaspoon baking soda⁠ 1 tablespoon maple syrup⁠ Pinch salt⁠ ½ cup chocolate chips⁠ ⁠ Mix all together to form a dough, roll out into small balls and flatten them a bit, bake in oven at 180 degrees for about 12 minutes.⁠ ⁠ THAT'S IT!! ⁠ ⁠ Sending all my ❣️ love to those that like me, have a child embarking on something new and exciting tomorrow. Whether its the first day of primary school, kindy, high school, family day care, etc. ⁠ ⁠ And then, relish in the calm and quiet, until 3pm comes 😂⁠ ⁠ Happy Sunday guys xx
