Day 22 of Peachtober - Village! 🏘️

I have always dreamt of living in a cozy seaside village, like the one Jessica Fletcher lives in. This scene was heavily inspired by our many trips up to Grand Marias/ The North Shore here in Minnesota. It’s small little town that we always visit in the off season (November) and I just love everything about it. Lake Supierior isn’t the sea but it is very very close!

Yeah, it's another bike map drop already! It's because the waterfront trail downtown opens today and I wanted the map to show that. It's also because I was informed by a local in Newcastle that this one massive shortcut trail on the Newcastle border and into north Renton is in fact basic biker-friendly! You can't see it from overhead so I didn't know, but now it's on the map too.

(He called it paved but I'm pretty sure it's hardpack? But hardpack is fine and the trail association website describes it as "easy." So I think we're good.)

So not only did I finish the Greater Northshore Bike Connector Map to connect the Seattle and Eastside maps, I decided I would ALSO make a MEGAMAP of all three maps since King County stopped maintaining a map over 10 years ago which makes this the biggest maintained King County bike map since then.
