This is one of two bands that had to be blue, white, and yellow. #fallforcostume day 16: trial and error. This is my eight panel #kirtle/Gothic fitted dress/#cotte based on #herjolfsnes 38. The fit has been a challenge all along (I mean, look at that sleeve). I’ve made all kinds of adjustments, and actually I’ve redone the sleeves and taken in the shoulders since I took this photo, and will be moving the front and back gores down and adding a few more inches of lacing and opening up the neckline.
