I went through the Erha book 5 interior illustrations when it came out and offhandedly read the confession scene. That was my first impression of Erha. I thought it was gonna be cute, ok? I really thought it was gonna be nice and sweet. That was what got me into Erha.

Then I found out about the 0.5 timeline.

The confession scene is still one of my favourites, like ever, and the rest of Erha won't change that. The horrors persist, but so do we ;)

So Bingge goes back in time, and PIDW is pretty much the 0.5 timeline. Xin Mo reminds me of that flower from Erha that makes Mo Ran hate Chu Wanning and forgets about any positive feelings he had for him and made him become Taxian Jun (fyi I'm like half way into book 1 and the spoilers that ik are all over the fucking place. I know about the stupid flower and Shimei). Luo Binghe's Xin Mo eats away at his mind and fucks him up the same?? I think? I know Xin Mo doesn't work the same way, but it still makes him act on his impulsive thoughts and penchant for violence.

What I DO know is that white lotus Binghe and Mo Ran 2.0 are just <3 they need to be kept away from bad things fr.

Bagi, who was previously "invited" to a mysterious island/city by its elected official, subsequently trapped on the mysterious island/city, investigated the deep mysterious history of the island/city, came to no conclusions, found her brother after years of searching, was separated once again from her brother, gained and lost an adopted daughter (possibly to being kidnapped by the island government, which was evil), gained and lost a demon fiancée (possibly to being dragged back to hell, so there's no way to find her), gained and lost a close demon friend to dubious circumstance (did he die for his children? is he with skeppy in the gas station?), and has had an unknown amount of time to process and/or suppress all of this: Sure! :D

kuina (weapon)'s frustration stemming from the idea that weapons need miesters to become deathsythe's (let's pretend Justin law doesn't exist) and that weapons have to live in submission to miesters by koshiro (miester, maybe his wife/her mom was a weapon...). so Zoro and Kuina's promise is to become the first independent deathsythe to prove that it is possible. and Zoro's 'my ambition means nothing is I can't protect my captain' moment is accepting Luffy as his miester and preforming their first soul resonance.

Doing a separate post for the tags i added at the end of my last one about Mildew. I also need to fix some of Stoick’s lines, because at first I didn’t have much of a plan for him, but after outlining the story more and winging some later scenes, I’ve built a character arc for him, and also fleshed out more of his opinions and views on the raids as Chief of one of the tribes most affected by them. And after re-reading some chapters to figure out where to shove Mildew and his complaining in, I realized some lines might be a bit more antagonistic than they need to be, or entirely out of character for the character i have planned. I think I’ll write a character study for him after I’ve finished writing and posting the first film, about the character I’ve written for my story, and his mindset on everything and why he’s the way he is at the start of the story. But I need to fix some of his lines as they don’t exactly fit the character I’ve been building now

@nebbychan, as per my favorite of the ideas that you presented, here is Dan and Tim trying to explain the chaos that happened during Dan’s promotion to Captain (as first seen in your story ��One Wild Night”) to everyone at the Ball & Socket, with poor Kiya dying of laughter in the background. “Oh, come on, Dan! You gotta be making some of this up!”

“I swear this is all what really happened!” Dan said, crossing a skeletal finger over his breastplate. “Really and truly!”

“He’s telling the truth,” Canny Tim added loyally. “Not a single, er, embellished detail to be had! I was right there in the thick of it with him, and it was all that chaotic!”

“Yeah – in fact, Tim here saved Megwynne in one of his first major acts of heroism while I was up on the pirate ship!” Dan said, wrapping an arm around his friend. “Though he’ll have to tell you that part, I wasn’t around to see it.”

“Later, maybe,” Tim said through pink cheeks. “You were, ah, telling them about breaking the others out of their cell on the pirate ship?”

“Right, right – so I got my hands on Woden’s sword and set about busting the other heroes out!” Dan said, striking a dramatic pose. “I admit, I tried to use the sword to pick the lock first–”

“Why?” Kiya called behind him, the word almost lost in between snorts and giggles.

“Look, I’d already had probably more wine than was good for me, dealt with a drunken king, retrieved the main course of the meal from a hungry dog–” Woof! “–yes, we all know you enjoyed the boar, Lupo – had to stop an upset elephant dragon from burning down the castle, and figure out why a flying pirate ship was raiding the place on what was supposed to be my special day. I was not thinking clearly.”

“I don’t think any of us were,” Tim admitted, running his fingers through his hair. “It was really a most – exciting promotion ceremony.”

“The promotion was the least crazy part of it,” Bonejangles said, Lizzie giggling beside him. “Besides, you know, Dan coming within a couple of inches of ending up like Paul.”

“Yeah, good thing King Peregrine was willing to listen to me, drunk as he was. . .” Dan shook his skull. “Anyway, I figured out how to use the sword to burst apart the lock, then led all the other heroes up to the top deck–”

“You crawled up there!” Woden yelled from his table. “Wincin’ at every little squeak!”

“Hey, I was trying to get us up there unnoticed! Not my fault that the door burst open on the very last step! Nearly busted my nose!”

“And then when you did get above decks, after the rest of us had mopped up the guards, that one pirate scooped you up like it was nothing!”

“All right, but he quickly realized it wasn’t smart to swing around someone who was already feeling seasick,” Dan retorted, folding his arms.

Kiya laughed all the harder. “You throw up?”

“Aaaaall over him,” Dan confirmed, upper jaw flexing in a smirk somehow. “And then he threw me right in front of his captain!”

“Face-first,” Woden pointed out.

“Hey, I still got right back up and chopped his sword in half!”

“Only because you had my sword! Which was promptly stolen from you by that damn swinging pirate covered in sick.”

“A rare sentence, that,” Lizzie observed, causing Kiya to bonk her head against her table.

“You got it back! After I dumped the rest of the pirates off the ship!”

“Another accident!”

“It worked!”

“Everyone, please, let’s just tell the story and not argue about the details,” Tim said, holding up his hands.

“Yeah, before Kiya laughs herself unconscious,” Bonejangles observed, rolling his eye between sockets.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” Kiya said, holding her stomach and gasping. “Just – oh dear, I thought our time in London was a mess!”

“Oh, you don’t know the half of it,” Dan said, chuckling. “In fact – we’re up to the ship crashing into the castle now, right Tim? Right after I’d finally freed the king and my poor dog. . .”

Meet Jade!

A master thief, Nightingale, assassin, Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, Arch-Mage of the College, Harbinger of the Companions, Dragonborn/Alduin's Bane, and Thane of every hold in Skyrim. Also a lovely mother of six children, married to a werewolf, and has a vampire lord as a best friend.

Jade has gone through her fair share of adventures, most of them begrudgingly, but it has earned her a fancy amount of titles.

And riches.

So many riches.

She originally got her start as a member of the thieves guild in a town called Riften, but after botching a job and killing a witness to her crime, she sought out shelter with the infamous assassins of the Dark Brotherhood.

But the Mistress of the Sanctuary, Astrid, had her doubts about one of the newest additions to the crew, a jester named Cicero who had taken a dislike to Astrid and the other members' blatant disregard for the Brotherhood's traditions. Astrid sent Jade to spy on Cicero by hiding in the coffin he tended to that held the ancient bones of the Dark Brotherhoods unholy matron, the Night Mother.

It was while she was hiding that the Night Mother reached out to her marking Jade as the new Listener for the Dark Brotherhood. Aka she now gets to be the only person in the world who hears the voice of a long dead woman in her head telling her who to murder. A glamorous position I assure you.

Jade denied her role at first, and took every measure she could to evade it. She traveled across Skyrim gaining favors in every hold, gained housing in every major city, settled down and focused on raising her children. But the Night Mother's voice echoed in her head all the same until she gave up pretending that her life of being the altruistic hero was something she wanted and she returned to serving the Brotherhood.

Her kids however, still continued to grow older eventually heading off in different directions to pursue their own dreams. And while Jade traveled to the mage's college to drop off one of her daughters she got roped into a series of events that eventually lead to her becoming Arch-Mage of the college despite knowing a grand total of like, four spells at the time. No one protested or questioned this development (much to Jade's annoyance).

Similarly to the mages college, through misguided intentions, coin, and a bit of blackmail she also ended up the leader of one of the most "honorable" groups of fighters in Skyrim. Unlike the mages, everyone questioned this, but still no one protested out of respect for the previous Harbinger's wishes.

It was here however that she met a man named Farkas who was often assigned as her companion on these missions. At first, she considered him a hindrance, but eventually came to appreciate the giant meat shield- I mean skilled fighter that he was. She'd grown used to his presence, and he'd come to respect her, even more so after she became Harbinger.

They continued to travel together and eventually most of Jade's kids had begun taking a liking to him, and one by one they all started to band together to try to convince Jade to marry him, some less subtly than others (the oldest did not approve, but he was out voted by his siblings).

They were unsuccessful in their attempts, but the idea of courtship did start to stick, and after Jade had gone on to save the world from the dragon uprising (as a main character does) Farkas officially proposed to her.

For sake of the stardew bit we're starting here in the timeline: with the two hunting down some cultists who crashed their wedding ceremony.

Which means Farkas has just been left stranded somewhere without his wife. Whoops.

He'll probably be okay.

Imagine you got turned into a mech and teleported to the middle of the Quintesson attack on Cybertron. But the catch is - all the characters whose Transformers toys/figures you own are in your squad and they are on your side.

If you have two Megatrons or like three Ratchets you can have all of them. Can't wait to see if someone's squad is just them and their 200 Bumblebees

So who wants to hear about the thought that passed through my brain after finishing Saving Hope in more detail? (Mostly because I feel like putting the idea/thoughts into writing to some degree.)

This idea does not deal with the tv show at all. Instead it comes from the many AUs my one friend and I have discussed over the years (which of course means the origins are actually from Cars and her fan fictions that she's written of such). As much as I want to outline the exact path of how I got to the current thought/idea that I have, I will restrain myself. As none of that is really necessary to understand the base idea of what this story thought/idea is. This is nothing that will likely turn into a novel idea unlike some of my ideas, but I need to share it any way.

Basically the story elements that I am playing with and studying from all angles in my brain is a family losing the mother of their family. A little girl only 5 lost without her mom, her father devastated by the lost of his wife. Their unborn twins are now born prematurely and are at risk of being lost themselves. The now single father of three reaches out to his wife estranged brother, wanting him in his childrens' lives. The life of a single father being difficult, but he makes it work. Never remarrying, always carrying this sorrow of his wife being gone, as much as he tries to keep moving on.

The twins do survive, they grow up only knowing dad and older sister telling them stories about mom. While the twins miss mom, it's not the same heaviness that dad and their sister carry around with them. When the twins are teens, they somehow manage to go back in time to back before mom dies.

They find it absolutely fascinating to get to actually know mom and to see dad (and their sister, little as she may be) without the weight of their grief of losing mom. With them being there they end up changing things in one of two ways. Either they manage to keep the accident from happening at all because mom ends up being in a place completely different than she was originally. Or with the twins being there, the way the accident happens it turns out not to be deadly (though might end up with mom having some amnesia for a time.)

Anyways there's my basic rundown of what the last two episodes of Saving Hope made me think about again, sort of.

(It's both been thought of before but not in that exact combination.)

let's ignore the fact that this episode came out like two weeks ago AND WOO LET'S TALK ABOUT THE STAR

I actually really like this episode it's like my fav along with the winter king one so yeah I'm gonna talk about it it's getting the same treatment

as a whole I really liked how the episode was directed?? executed?? idk what word I'm looking for exactly but I could rewatch it a thousand times and still adore it in its entirety the a-plot and the b-plot are fucking awesome it's a marceline/marshall lee episode dude like c'mon (kind of a gumlee/bubbline episode too)

anyways to really get into it it's basically a vampireworld with toxic yuri bubbline

also shame on the ppl who clowned bonnie's design I love it she rocks and marceline is a star ofc I adore her

bonnie sees cake killing vamps like the absolute badass that she is and decides to recruit her so ofc fionna and simon tag along

cake is literally fantastic in this episode I mean I've come to like her genuinely she's hilarious but she kicks ass, she's got her powers in check and everything man and while cake is thriving fionna's morale is pretty low like damn

girl just discovered murder and isn't quite too happy about slaughtering innocent ppl because a hot ice wizard convinced her it was the right thing to do

the whole episode she's worried, scared and generally not as excited as before to go on another adventure because she now realizes that this isn't some rpg this is real and her actions do have consequences on the ppl she meets, the worlds she travels to

like look at my girl she's not having a good time this is terrifying to her (tbf she sees martin get his life sucked out of him soo)

speaking of martin ik he's like an awful dad in the og series but he's pretty nice in this episode I was kind of upset when he died like aww not the nice cool guy :(
