I’m not really someone who wants to weigh in on what’s been going on with animation, but after the miracle of streaming came to be and Hollywood executives saw what they could do with their franchises and businesses, I realized I couldn��t remain silent any longer. I’ve had it with so many greedy executive producers acquiring film and animation studios that were never theirs to begin with, and shutting down various animation studios for the sake of corporate greed, as well as the cancellation of various projects for stupid bills to “keep their companies afloat”! Enough is enough! They are not only trying to steal our childhoods, but our futures as well as the futures of many children who aspire to become animators(even if the shows they watch are brainrot lol).

As you probably know already, the Animation Guild is holding a “Stand with animation” rally today in Burbank, and I thought to myself why not hold my own rally at my home, although being a thousand miles from where I’m from. So, I did hold my own protest but it was very hot outside so I had to come back inside but while the WGA and IATSE continue to defend for their professions and futures, I thought it would be wise to post some of the posters that I’ve made throughout 2024. I was originally wanting to protest on my own on March, I thought today was the right time to do it.

Notice that the 3rd sign, I made was featuring Kitty Bobo, who I would’ve loved to have gotten a chance to greenlight since it didn’t back in 2001. David Zaslav, I still haven’t not forgiven you for shutting down Cartoon Network Studios and Rooster Teeth for the sake of “money, money, money”, and I’m still mad that you closed down the Cartoon Network website for that aforementioned reason, and on behalf of many kids and NEETs right now who wanted to work there as well as other studios recently shut down unjustly, you will not get away with robots being your prized possessions! Time is up, Zaslav!!

CN games closing down

Just found out about this myself only this morning, but Cartoon Network Games have delisted all their games, incuding the Steven Universe duology, the SamJack game and the OK KO game. I'm really sad about this because I genuinely liked that last one and had fun playing it. Anyone who has a copy of a license can still play it, but people can't buy these game licenses anymore.

And yes, partly this probably has to do with Steam as a store platform in general - since they licences and not DRM-free copies, but still! CN used to be such a big name, it's very odd to see them shut down another game endevour. I'm reminded naturally, of the shut-down of Fusionfall in 2013.

Really makes you think about how fragile the games industry is, but CN was shut down as a studio last year as well, so maybe I should have seen this coming.The games were last purchasable on December 23rd (I was browsing a friend's wishlist myself). Maybe the notification got lost somewhere, but I'm reading on reddit that even on 23rd, it was already delisted.

I was hoping when I'd finally get around to animating this! Here's another fan-animation from yours truly, my dedicated pups! As you can guess, it's based off the iconic scene from "Ed, Edd n Eddy" with the famous "Hat of Discipline"!🎩🔨

And it looks like Dylan (Voiced by SapphireAtlas) is the one to make sure Dolly's (Voiced by DrCrescentSpade) paying her end of the bargain with all the antics she had caused!🤣

This fan-animation was requested by @fenrisarts, as a way to compensate for the 101DS x EEnE comic I requested more than a year ago, and I am SO glad to have finally have finished this!😁

20 years ago today, Teen Titans premiered on Cartoon Network. I've been thinking about this milestone for a long time, and I can't believe it's finally here. I've already talked a lot throughout the years about how much I love this series and what it means to me, but honestly I really don't think I'll ever be able to adequately express how grateful I am to everyone involved in making this show for all the stories, entertainment, and comfort Teen Titans has given me and so many others. There's a reason Teen Titans is so popular, and theres a reason that still, 20 YEARS LATER, there are so many passionate fans raving about the show and asking for another season. Teen Titans was a masterpiece in so many ways and regardless of whether or not we'll ever get that sixth season, it will always be known as one of the greatest animated series of all time.
