“Aren’t you part of the basketball team?” Draco asked as she was eyeing a mini basketball hoop game. Harry turned to her, disbelieved. 

“Where did you get that impression from?” she blurted out, completely confused. Draco shrugged nonchalantly, a glimmer of amusement twinkling in her eye. 

“You just seemed like the type,” she said. Harry blinked.

“What type?” 

“Athletic, I suppose,” Draco said flippantly. Her grey eyes flitted to meet Harry’s, gaze challenging. “Am I wrong?”  

Harry stared at the other girl. “Uh. I mean, I exercise, I guess? I go to the gym with my dad on weekends and run when I have time on weekdays, but nothing crazy.” 

Draco shrugged in response. “I’m probably better at basketball then,” she said with a tiny smirk on her face. Harry huffed out a laugh. 

“Yeah right. Don’t you do gymnastics? That’s not gonna get you anywhere with basketball,” she retorted with a grin. 

“I’m willing to challenge this theory,” Draco said, pointing toward the machine. “I’ll win.” 

Harry scoffed. “Yeah fucking right.” 

Five minutes later and four tickets down, Harry was leaning over on the basketball dispenser and panting slightly as the scoreboard shone a taunting 0 - 0. 

“You know,” Draco started as she took a deep breath, huffing primly while smoothing down her hair with one hand and wiping a few beads of sweat from her forehead with the other. “I still think I’m better.” 

“What do you mean better?!” Harry exclaimed, pushing herself off the basketball dispenser to look at the other girl with disbelief. “The score is zero to zero! We both suck at this game!” 

“Yes, well, I almost scored,” Draco retorted, the competitive glint in her eye not wavering. Harry gaped at her for a few moments before quipping back. 

“Almost?! You didn’t score for shit!” 

“Well neither did you, you imbecile!”

But you have no idea how invested I would get if I wrote this AU. I am so unbelievably obsessed with this idea. You are merging two of my favourite fandoms into one and it would be so fucking JUICY oh GOD I NEED IT!!!

If you don't know and can't tell by any of my social medias, I am insanely obsessed with Twilight. My favourite ship is Edward x Jacob because they're are so fucking perfect for each other when you take literally 6 seconds out of your day to think about it.

In this AU, I have to think about the dynamic between Drarry and how that would fit into the love story in Twilight, because there are so many ways to see it!!

You have the obvious: Bella x Edward.

You also have the Twilight/Life and Death re-write with gender-swapped Bella and Edward, so: Beau x Edythe

But also, EDWARD X JACOB??!!? THEYRE FUCKING ENEMIES FFS. IT MAKES SENSE THAT THEY WOULD BE DRARRY.

Let's dissect this, shall we?

Bella = Draco, Edward = Harry? Not bad, I could maybe work with that.

Bella = Harry, Edward = Draco? Better! That I can get behind.

Edward = Draco, Jacob = Harry? I like this. I can see this. Maybe Ginny would be Bella in this scenario, although I can't see Draco ever having a crush on Ginny, so the relationship would be Harry has a crush on Ginny (Jacob has a crush on Bella) but Draco (Edward) in this case would be more interested in Harry than Ginny.

Ah.... Beau = Harry, Edythe = Draco? DING DING DING! I THINK WE HAVE A WINNER!!

And of course I am totally down to make it Fem!Draco !!! I am also VERY down to make it sapphic Drarry.

Fem Draco loves to braid. When shes bored in class her fingers almost subconsciously start braiding little braids, you can almost always see a thin braid peaking out of her long hair. So when she starts going out with (fem) Harry it becomes her habit to braid in Harry’s hair, when they cuddle or when theyre just sitting together. Harry finds it adorable.
