wait, if ur not blodthegreatrouge, how come u do pjs daycare stuff when it also had a lot of the controversy on it?

A few reasons, but I can promise you, I am 100% not rouge lmao. I think she's in her early 30s, where I'm currently 19. If you trace my blog through my archive, you can see when I joined years after her initial popularity and how godawful my art was in attempting to replicate her style (since I was even heavily influenced as a child). It's also uncomfortable seeing how much of a pro-rouge advocate I was, but I was 12/13 when I joined Tumblr and began drawing Undertale fanart. This was also far before everyone started calling her out in 2021, when I had mostly forgotten about what happened in her AUs

As a child, I was obsessed with the AU and the characters. They made up an important part of my preteen years, as did several other major Undertale comics (Geno's Christmas Party, Handplates, Aftertale, etc.) despite all of the weird/uncomfortable plots rouge shoved into it. I just knew the majority of it made me happy, y'know?

Anyway, my continuation AU of PJ's Daycare (PJ's Daycare 10 Years Later) does not promote the original material but rather tweaks and continues the story in a way I presume most original fans want it depicted---meaning back to its roots of what it is: a Daycare attended by several of the most popular Sanses as children, and popular shipchildren raising them

I wanted to bring back the old whimsical feeling into it and mold the original material into something better and newer. This includes shifting several parts of the original story like, idk, not having kinder!Fresh's love interest be an actual adult, reworking (or entirely removing) the awful Geno suicide depiction, booting proships out of the AU, reworking the love triangle between Palette, Goth, and Cray since they're all 12 - 13, and a lot of interactions made me really uncomfortable (almost sexual undertones AND THEY'RE CHILDREN), etc.

I get many comments on posts describing it as the fandom reclaiming the media from a bad person and fixing it up, and honestly, this is the only AU I could attempt to fix from Rouge. All her other AUs are far too gone, whereas PJ's Daycare had mistakes but was nowhere near as insane as her other stuff (NaJ, for instance)

Again, my content does not promote Rouge or anything she's done. She's awful and shouldn't be allowed online after the mess she's caused and doesn't care cleaning up. I'm just fixing a childhood favorite comic for myself and the community

Hihi!! This is a blog dedicated to (mostly) the Fallen Stars, 2019-2021 Version!

This is kinda like an FAQ thing, tho I take it more as "For (almost) All Questions" than "Frequently..."

Warnings are at the bottom of the post, before the "About the Admin", sorry!

I use mostly what I have from the Gacha community from back then as inspiration/goals for them/etc, tho they have a bit more character than just "emo uwu baby" or the like! I still place a lot of their characters into the old tropes.

This also means they don't follow the truly canon characters! A lot of it is made up and fanonised!

Another factor into this is that I also cannot find a lot of canon information to ALL these characters in the time span that I'd still be motivated to even do this, as it takes a lot of time. So it's headcanons and fanon mixed!

There are two Chara's and Frisk's in this team, one pair are adults and dating Sans (19 y/os) + she/her pronouns, the other pair is small Frisk and Ghost!Chara who both use they/them! Also I mix a lot of the ideas people have/had for both Star Sanses and Fallen Stars, this meaning the team'll end up pretty big!

This is like found family trope but instead of them just having a "family type" they're also dating kinda! Like a really big poly but unknowingly from some sides! They're confused but they got the spirit!

Small Character introductions here!

Shattered/Dream; a kind-hearted spirit and prior Positive Guardian that has fallen due to his brothers hatred towards him, and several other factors. No one besides the team knows he is corrupted. (he/him)

Ink; after his friends' disappearance and other friends' crash in the antivoid, his vials had been taken away. Occasionally at Error's for fights or "fights" still (he/they)

Blueberror; prior Swap, after being (more or less) forced to stay in the antivoid for just too long he has glitched out and became this version. Mocks Error often and has taken on a slight parental role, just more strict and rude. (he/him)

Unlust/Cher; used to be Lust, but after Events in his au and with Red, an underfell sans, she stepped up for themself and went with Yanberry into the Fallen Stars. His LV has changed her body drastically. She's also the tallest. (any pronouns)

Yanberry; named Blueberry prior to seeing his brother killed in front of her by his Chara. After the reset, he had somehow kept his memory, making him go mad and kill almost everyone in her AU. Shattered had found him and brought him into the Team while he was stalking Dust. (he/him w occasional she/her)

Frisk; since she is now an adult, she is casually dating Sans and Chara. Often goes onto "missions" with the team. She's more or less of a hypocrite and a bit mean, tho she tries to be nice still. Will attack you if you try and hurt Sans. (she/her)

Chara; since she is now an adult, she also started casually dating Sans and Frisk. She feels bad for what happened, and the yellow flowers blooming on her head are a constant reminder of her wrong-doings. (she/her)

Little Frisk/Fry; they're a little sweetheart! But they're also dangerous. Don't step on the bugs they'll kill you for harming their friends :( (they/them)

Ghost!Chara/Charm; they're nice, but also like your intrusive thoughts. And they don't leave Fry alone ever. Also their crush is chocolate fyi (they/them)

Cor!Classic; not a lot is known about him. all we know is he's LV20 and dangerous. (he/him)

Honorable Character mentions:

Sci (neutral ground), Outer (occasionally drops by), Core (had no true choice), Ghost!Dream (from another dimension)

The Bad-Now-Good Guys:

Nightmare; Usually really mean and rude, but is also the only one allowed to hurt Dream. Could possibly corrupt back but doesn't due to fear, most likely.

Killer; more of a malevolent person to the Stars. Knows Cross's dirty little secret but keeps shut about it so he stays still about his own. Nightmare's right hand

Horror; Usually stays at Farm's place, but is also still more than not in the castle, usually by Murder's side. Keeps out of missions a lot but is pretty brutal when it comes to it.

Dust; A somewhat nicer version of Murder. Unaware of Yanberry's stalking&yandere behaviour towards him.

Murder; Stays with Horror a lot. His face is just gone and it unnerves Yan. Just as brutal as Horror and Killer, with LV20.

Cross; Stayed by Nightmare due to not wanting to come over as a traitor. However he is a traitor by simply dating/loving Dream. Keeps undercover.

Honorable Character mentions:

Error (doesn't care a lot), Farm (kind, neutral side character), Color (tries salvaging Killer, it doesn't work)

Dust and Murder are two seperate Dust's/Murder's to me. This is why Yanberry can stalk Dust while Murder will be left untouched by this.

The mental, physical, and emotional drain on him could not be any more clear than how he slouched on the sofa. Nightmare was not one to sit in a slumped manner. The powerful and generally active tendrils sprawled out around him, one mustering what strength it had left to twitch now and then like the tip of an idle cat tail.

A week and a half. He had lasted that long before the thought of needing help crossed his mind as being something he could no longer avoid. Determined to prove himself wrong, he struggled through the rest of that week. It was now the start of week three, and he knew he was being a fool. That pride, which has been the cause of failure in others that he tried to keep in check, got him in the end.

Glancing at the clock, he saw it was time to start dinner. Before he could, he had to make sure the boys were occupied. If he didn’t, then there was bound to be a disaster within minutes of him leaving the room.

Cross was playing a video game, thankfully an age-appropriate one. He had quickly gathered up and put away everything that was not “child friendly.” Still, Killer has somehow been getting into the mature games Nightmare had put away. Naturally, Cross is too well-behaved for that.

Unfortunately, that is not true for them all. For example, Horror was about to sneak up behind Cross. Nightmare has learned that Horror, even while younger, enjoyed giving others a scare now and then. Considering Sanses and their pranks, the dark guardian understood why. Still, that does not mean the others appreciate being startled by Horror.

“Horror, what are you doing?” Nightmare asked, and Cross paused his game to look. 

Seeing his plan of scaring Cross was thwarted, Horror sighed, “nooothing….” He then shuffled over to play with toys while Cross glared at him. With that settled, though, Cross returned to playing his game.

Dust was curled up beside him, sleeping. Feeling the tiny skeleton’s negative emotions increase, he knew a nightmare was starting. He drew out some of those emotions while placing a gentle hand on the child’s skull. In return, Dust’s body relaxed, and he continued sleeping peacefully.

Wait… where was Killer? Nightmare quickly looked around the room, trying to figure out where the more active of them was.

A crash from the kitchen answered the question of where. 

“sorry!” Killer called out.

With a long-suffering sigh, Nightmare stood up and made his way to the kitchen. The child had flour and other ingredients all over him and the floor. A bowl was upside down beside him, and he was trying to pick it up the best he could. But it was a large bowl and likely too heavy for one so young.

“Killer…,” was all Nightmare could say.

“you looked so tired… i just wanted to help…,” Killer explained, a feeling of regret emerging from his soul.

That was it. The guardian surrendered to the children tonight. He had planned on doing this in the morning, but the dark guardian needed rest now. Nightmare was exhausted after watching after them, tending the animals, filling in for missions, and being in charge of chores. He needed a moment, a chance to close his socket and sleep. 

With that, he pulled out his cell phone and made a call. As he kept the phone to his head, he shuffled into the kitchen and picked up the bowl.

“Greetings,” said a soft, sweet voice. A part of him felt some guilt for this, calling her back to play nanny for him. But, he knew she offered and would likely not mind or see it that way.

“Could you come over in a half hour?” Nightmare asked Lyra. As he spoke, he grabbed the broom and dustpan, then set to work cleaning up.

There was a pause before the Guardian replied, “I can. Though, I must ask, are you alright? You sound different.”

“I just need to rest. If you could watch the boys for five… ten minutes?” Nightmare was ashamed he was pleading but was too tired to stop himself.

“you need longer than that!” Killer insisted, real tears in his sockets.

“Are you sure you don’t want me there now?” Lyra replied.

“I need to get the boys washed up… normally I would do dinner first…” Looking at Killer, Nightmare sighed.

“i’m sorry…,” the child said as he started to cry. Nightmare winced as he knew he would need to comfort Killer before Lyra arrived.

“we’ll be good…” That sounded like Cross, and Nightmare looked back at the doorway. There the other three were, looking into the kitchen with worried expressions. Meaning it would need to comfort all four.

“Let me give them a bath, as I need to talk to them anyway. Once that is done, they will be ready for you. All you need to do is watch them and then wake me to make dinner.”

“Night…,” Lyra started.

“Please.”

“Alright, I will give you time to wash them up. But I am making dinner, no exceptions,” Lyra said. “I will see you soon.”

“Thank you,” Nightmare replied as he relented dinner duty without any more fight. He then hung up and sighed as he looked at Killer.

“i’m sorry!” Killer then said before bursting into more tears. His soul had succeeded in changing back into the monster soul shape, which meant he could feel some of the emotions that had been cut off before. The poor thing was drowning in regret.

He wanted to pick Killer up in his arms, but Nightmare didn’t want to get covered in flour. Later, he will have to comfort the boy. Using a tentacle, he scooped the child up and then walked over to the others. “come along, bath time,” he said as he grabbed the others.

Walking was a kind way to put it. Nightmare shuffled down the hall until he arrived at their bedroom and set them down in the connected bathroom. There, he started to run water. Luckily, by then, Killer’s crying had calmed enough that Nightmare could speak. “I understand you wanted to help, Killer. I am not angry, just disappointed. You could have assisted me instead of trying to do it on your own. Your body is… you are small… and fragile right now. If you got hurt trying to do that, I would have been… very sad.”

Killer sniffled, “i’m sorry.”

“I know… now, come on, undress for a bath, all of you,” He said.

One by one, they each were placed into the tub to wash up. The bathroom was warm and smelled pleasant. The soft sound of them splashing around as they played in the water was calming…

“mr. night?”

Nightmare’s head shot up, and he blinked a few times. How irresponsible. With a sigh, Nightmare sat straighter beside the bathtub. He will have to do better about staying awake for their sake. Granted, skeletons don’t need to breathe and can not drown, unlike other beings. Still, now was not the time to doze off.

“Are you four ready to get out?” Nightmare asked.

Killer moved closer and stretched a hand out to pat Nightmare on the head. “can you please sleep longer than ten minutes? i… i don’t care if i have ta go to bed hungry! you’re too tired, and you need sleep.”

“we’ll be on our best behavior!” Cross added.

“And you will have Lyra watching you, and she insisted on making dinner for all of you. So, you will eat, and I will get some rest. Still, you are my responsibility,” Nightmare said, then yawned. “Ready or not, you are getting out. Lyra will be here soon enough.”

Nightmare got the towels and wrapped up each tiny skeleton. “Go get your pajamas,” He said as he walked with them into their room while holding Killer. “Thank you for caring about me, Killer. I forgive you, but please let me know next time.” He then set the child down.

Killer hugged Nightmare around the legs. “all right, mr. night,” the child replied.

“Go get dressed,” Nightmare urged, and Killer nodded before joining the others. Horror and Killer both do well at getting themselves dried off and dressed. Cross, being younger, and Dust, who is still learning, need a little coaching and help from him.

Finally, all dressed in PJs, they walked over and cuddled beside him. He could feel how sorry they were, and he wished he could say or do more. This guilt will be something they will just have to work through on their own, which is unfortunate but good for their development. 

Just as he felt like he was about to drift off again, there was a light knock on the bedroom door.

ermmm ...with the popular headcanon of the ecto bodies/magical body and blood for Sanses being now almost a sure value in the utmv... do we have precise ways of how it works or do we all go with our own headcanons and try to make it work- as for me I just- go with some skels being able to grow ecto (any ecto, like stomach or chest) and others not, it developing at a certain age, colour of magic, but not much outside that- also that they don't have control on what their ecto looks like, so, a transmasc sans would actually have to get some sort of surgery (... on what?? THE SOUL??) okay i'm overthinking this just imagine a sans screeching because he got punched in the guts he didn't knew he had until then - ✩

The obvious existence of them in the first place.

So, when it comes to ectos, they are obviously going to match the said skeleton's own magic. Due to the fact that most life starts as wee babes, the babybone versions of them should be talked about.

Honestly, I feel like their ectos is a puberty like thing, and a personal decision too.

So, when asking mum and dad about why they are only bones and everyone else has flesh in some kind of way, they'd be sat down to talk about it.

Of course, being young, I doubt that their magic would be strong enough to even summon a belly, much less anything else. The most likely age I think that they would be even fully curious about it is in their teens, around 16-19.

Curiosity with sexuality and gender.

Honestly, due to the nature of most of our skellies, either they aren't interested in sex or are too lazy to engage in that kind of relationship. Of course, that doesn't apply to this blog because this is a headcanon blog catering to people who like to slobber all over bones.

When it comes to the body for our skeletons, it's common to make Sans, your short and chubby lazy guy, with the color blue and Papyrus, your long and lanky sport enthusiast, with the color orange.

I believe the specific colors blue and orange come from the differently colored bones that both boys use in their attack. Also, these attack appear throughout the game constantly, are one of the few tutorials that are constantly called back to within both battle and the HOTLAND puzzles.

So why would these apply to the skeletons? Simple.

These are the first time they are mentioned, so when thinking about them, people automatically think about Sans and Papyrus. The latter specifically.

Back to their gender, I feel it's a weird mix of chosen by them and something that appears automatically.

While their skeleton(ribcage and pelvis) would show an obvious male/female origin, their ecto will not obey this rule. In other words, it's like a game of mis-and-matching for them.

They can choose what genitals they want and if they want a chest or just their ribcage there(I don't think they'd add pecs in unless they were one that liked to work-out or had an overflow of magic).

I like to believe that their magic can flow into certain areas and stop to stay bone : their collarbone, their elbows, and their knees.

If they wanted to, they could make their arms become fully fleshed out and stop at their wrists.

If they choose not to make a chest, their arms won't form either, keeping it just skeleton.

It really just depends on the skeleton's preference and who they like.

Like, for example, Cobalt/Sans is someone that prefers to use a male body, but will willingly change if asked to(very politely and not forcing them to) while Red/Nox/Edge will strictly only use male presenting bodies, and will ignore you if you ask for otherwise. With skeletons like Rus and Wine(maybe) though, they can and will fluctuate with how they feel at the moment, or what their s/o asks of them.

Do they have organs?

Er, no. Due to their bodies being strictly magic, I'm sure they wouldn't want to form those.

"but-but, what about the ji-" Magic. Not everything needs a scientific explanation. They say themselves within Undertale that the monsters are made up entirely of magic, and that's what the core of their soul is.

So, the cum is made of magic. Done, there you go.

What if scenario for No Longer the Guardian,

What would've happened if Killer had actually gotten the chance to propose to July before she was killed?

Awe man, this is going to hurt me cause it will never be canon 😭

Anyway- there will be some spoiler

Looking at the timeline, this will happen if Killer and June didn't waste their time and went home immediately. Horror would never find Killer in Samuraitale but still searching as in Nightmare said "find him or else you'll lose your head" with his angry face 😒.

But it'll took another 5 years (5 days for outside of Samuraitale) cause I want more angst.

It's June birthday and it was supposed to be July's death day too but it was never happen cause Horror didn't find Killer.

June got her blue kimono that she really wanted also for her extra gift, Killer proposed to her older sister with a beautiful silver ring. Of course July accepted it and they got married at 14th February <3.

I am restraining myself to give July and Killer a child cause I know at the end, I'll just going to unalive them but then again, I love angst 😈 (I am a cruel person istg-)

So 5 years later, June is 19, July is 29, Killer (I forgot if I ever mentioned his age but let's just make him in late 30) and the baby is 4 years old <3 (I'm so cruel 💀)

June doesn't have her temper like the original storyline since June is not dead. Killer taught her some fighting skills and June became a skilled Samurai with Frisk ^^.

Nightmare is being a baby that threw tantrum cause Killer disappeared for days now. So he went to Ink for help lol. Of course for fun, Ink helped Nightmare and they found Killer in Samuraitale.

Oh the look of Nightmare face when he caught Killer with his family. He hates the sight of it... This time it wasn't Killer who killed July. It was Nightmare 💀💀💀.

Nightmare killed July and the baby... June wasn't home that day as she is out with Frisk. Nightmare kidnapped Killer but this time, he's no longer have the control over Killer as his soul are not there anymore.

Killer betrayed the bad sanses and left. He didn't join star sanses though but June did. After June found out what Nightmare had done, she got out from Samuraitale thanks to Killer finding her.

June in here didn't get Dream power but she is like kind of vampire that suck others people power yknow. Well she always have that power even in original story line. Which explains Killer determination soul "disappeared" to other people view. She can suck others people power but the condition is, she have to earn their affection and trust

Nightmare and his baby gang Chapter 19

Previous chapter

Error was still in front of Nightmare, between the guardian and Blue, he refused to let his guard down. Blue hurted him and Nightmare was clearly too weak to do anything. He won’t let him hurt the guardian as he hurted him.

Nightmare was still shaking and started leaning against the destroyer’s back which made him glitch harder. He could handle a little physical contact if it was from Nightmare but not for too long.

“It’s fine Ru…He didn’t hurt me or the kids. I just need negativity and rest, he can’t handle the boys and the castle alone while I recover. I need you to watch the kids with him or something, I don’t know how you two want to do things but I don’t want any dangerous activity in the castle.”

“I’m not a babysitter!!” Error exclaimed when Nightmare started looking at him with the expression of someone completely done with some teenager bullshit.

Not even answering back Nightmare turned his back to the two other adults, started hugging his boys, and to get comfier. Blue smiled moved by the guardian’s doing, it was so cute. He was cuddly like Dream when he was too tired, adorable. The more he stayed at the castle the more resemblance he could see between the twins.

“I hate it when you’re sick you’re more annoying than ever.”

Error groaned and approached the guardian before taking him in his arms. Both Nightmare and the kids were surprised, he struggled to get free but Error refused to let him go.

“Error! Let me go this instant!” He exclaimed before trying to get free with his tentacles, in vain.

“Nah. You’re sick so you go to your bed. Now stop it before I attach you with my strings and pull you to your room.”

Nightmare kept struggling for a moment before he gave up when he understood it was pointless. Error refused to listen to him and if he made the glitch crash into the stairs it wouldn’t end well for both of them. Blue was following them with the kids, with impressed expressions. Great now he wouldn’t hear the end of this…

Error put him into his bed and covered him with two warm blankets. He closed all of the curtains and shooed the kids away because apparently, he needed calm to get better. Urgh.

“Nighty night Mare. Sleep well and I’ll be back with a treat for you.”

“Stop treating me like a kid” Nightmare groaned with the blankets that were practically covering his face.

Error hummed something and closed the door leaving the guardian alone in a calm and safe place. With that, he should be able to get some rest. Now Error only needed to get the kids busy and started collecting negativity for the octopus.

“It’s impressive how you two act so differently from what I saw last time you were together,” Blue said with a curious expression that Error knew too well.

“Nightmare is nicer when he’s sick so it’s easier to deal with him when he’s like that. Also, you saw us on the battlefield, not in our homes. Mare is always too stressed when he’s out collecting negativity.”

“Well, he has good reasons if what he told me is true…”

Error looked at Blue a little impressed that he get Nightmare to talk about the balance. He didn’t like to talk about it since he had to explain his own weakness to do so. So the fact that Blue, a star sanses, knew about the balance thanks to Nightmare was really surprising.

“Error about last time…I’m sorry!! I didn’t know and I was mad and I hurted you and I’m sorry! I would understand if you don’t want to be my friend anymore! It’s just I missed spending time with you…I didn’t want to hurt you…”

That was why he didn’t want to come back to the castle and pick up Blue! He knew the little skeleton would say sorry! He didn’t want to hear it! He didn’t want to forgive him! But he also didn’t want to lose his friend, also the tears in his eyes were unexpected.

The destroyer groaned trying to decide what to do with this mess while the kids were enjoying the situation like it was some kind of TV Show.

“Fine! I forgive you! But never do that again or I’ll send you to the end of the multiverse and you’ll be waiting for years before someone finds you!”

Blue kept silent on the fact that he already did that since he was still stuck in Nightmare castle. At least thanks to that he met his nephew and learn more about why Nightmare and Error were killing and destroying people’s lives.

“Error why did you never talk about Ink or Nightmare to Dream about the Balance? We could end the fights if they knew!”

Error sighed when he thought about the last time he tried to tell about the balance to Ink. It was pointless with the squid, he won’t listen or understand Error wasn’t sure. Nightmare also had his reasons to keep Dream away from the truth, it was a complicated mess.

“I told Ink a few times already. He just keeps forgetting about it so in the end, I stopped, it’s pointless to talk about that with him. As for Mare well…Dream is so focused on bringing his old brother back to where they were and to how their life was. He refuses to go back and if you’re trying to take him back to this damn place or a similar one I’ll kill all of you in a matter of seconds. You can tell your boyfriends about me if you want but never talk about Nightmare.”

“I see…”

The destroyer took the kids in his strings and brought them to the living room where he gave them papers and pencils before lighting the TV. With that they should be busy and wouldn’t bother Blue too much, he could go produce more negativity for the guardian.

“Alright kids I’m going out, you behave with Blue while I’m gone and everything will be alright. If you’re acting like some brat with him I’ll lock all of you into the anti-void for three hours. Be nice!” Error said before jumping into another portal, ready to go apeshit for his more than a friend.

Cross started shaking it at the thought of that big white place, why did his dad call Error and not Ccinno?! He wanted a hug from the barista that smelled like hot cocoa and was super fluffy.

“I want Ccinno to be watching us not Error…”

“Are you kidding?! Error is so cool! I bet he’s going to get something for dad to feel better!” Killer exclaimed looking at the place where the destroyer was with stars in his eyes.

“You know Ccinno kids?”

“He’s one of dad’s boyfriends! Just like Error.” Dust exclaimed with a rabbit plush in his hands.

Blue gasped surprised, he had no idea about the relationship between the three. Now he could picture it he found it cute and nice, Ccinno could help both of the murderers to feel better and they could help him not feel lonely. Who knew maybe Nightmare would invite him to their wedding?

The moment Nightmare opened his eyes he knew something was wrong. It was quiet, his castle was quiet! It shouldn’t be with four chaos makers running into the halls and corridor as they pleased. Something must be wrong, what if there had been an accident?! Or that someone came for them?!

Without thinking twice Nightmare got out of bed and once the spinning sensation stopped he went searching for his boys. He was still feeling like shit but not as much as before, he could even walk without any difficulties.

The guardian went down the stairs, wary of his surrounding in case of an intrusion in his castle. This calm wasn’t normal. When he entered the living room he saw his boys coloring on papers while Error was watching Undernovela and Blue setting the table for the dinner. In which parallel universe did he fall?!

“Mare! You’re supposed to rest in your room not come here to check on us!” The destroyer exclaimed before coming near his friend to carry him to his bedroom. ”The kids are fine and quiet so let them be. I’ll bring you your meal into your room soon so you’re going back to bed!”

“Wait Error! I’m feeling way better I can stay out of bed now. I-”

“Yeah nah, I’m not buying it. We’ll see this evening if you’re feeling better but for now, you rest.”

Nightmare sighed and let the destroyer carry him to his bedroom. The kids who noticed Error was taking their dad away started to follow the two skeletons like little ducklings. Blue found it so cute he took a picture, one day they will all look at this and laugh. He was sure of it.

Once Error put Nightmare in his bed and finished tucking him in, he started going back to the living room. Nightmare grabbed the destroyer’s coat and as embarrassed as he was he kept looking at him.

“Could you stay..? I-I don’t really like to stay alone…”

He hated it, he hated how weak his voice sounded, how pathetic he must have looked, or how stupid his behavior was. He was the king of negativity and he couldn’t stand being alone anymore. Pathetic. The kids were watching him as if he said something unbelievable and it was making him nervous.

He went to take his hand back and leave Error alone when the black-boned skeleton smiled at him and came into his bed, soon followed by the kids.

“Just try to not touch me for too long, Octopus.”

“Sure,” Nightmare said smiling and hugging the destroyer with his tentacle while he was in his arms. His friend had the power to make him feel at ease anytime he wanted and the guardian loved it. He felt so safe and warm with him, he never had this with anyone else except for Ccinno. The contacts were easier for Error when it was his tentacles so Nightmare tried to hold him with them each time they were hugging like that.

The kids were about to stay in the bed too but then Blue came to the door and asked them to leave their parents alone for a moment. They needed some time together without any kids after all and Nightmare could enjoy some time without worrying about the boys.

Leaving with Blue under the soft gaze of the destroyer the kids watched their dad falling asleep in Error’s arms. 

“I’ll get you more negativity tomorrow. You’ll get better in no time, you’ll see.”

Nightmare hummed a positive answer and cuddled up to his more than a friend before falling asleep again, feeling way safer than usual in the destroyer’s arms.
