#poorly drawn mdzs #mdzs #wei wuxian #granny wen #a-yuan #It's always fascinating how colours translate from the page to the screen.#It would probably surprise a lot of people to see what some of these comics actually look like in physical form.#My lighter colours takes about 3-4 washes before it shows up on scan which means it tends to ripple the page.#And my yellows and oranges are drastically different colours when scanned compared to the ink colour.#There's about 20 or so comics where everyone's hair is purple - because it scanned in the exact same colour as my light grey.#Wait my book is right here in front of me so I can...yeah...Comics 57-77 were indeed purple.#This is all to say - is it not fascinating how what we see is often not the full truth of what the subject truly is?#Is it not fascinating to open another episode that reminds us that despite everyone's claims they could totally spot the evil YLLZ-#-The man walks around among them for months as no more than a man haggling for deals like the rest.#It's almost as if he's just a person. It's almost as if none of us - no matter what we do are really anything more than just a person.#Your good acts will be overtaken by how other's interpret you in negative light.#Just as easily are people willing to forgive crueler actions if they hold you in high esteem.#But what's real? Is the page I hold the real version of this comic? Is it the one you look at?#Is the man known as Wuxian the most himself when he is alone or on the battlefield?#Perhaps he is and has always been a scared orphan boy lost in the market.#I think there is no good answer to any of these questions.#But I do know that panic rising in WWX as he frantically looks for A-yuan was for more than one boy.#To be human is to have layers around a delicate center. I imagine there would be a Lot of variations #and well. at least in spyre we don't see non-human mixed heritages so far... tbh I couldn’t for the life of me pick a color palette I liked And Render it so I gave up on color. Enjoy the half assery.

Tbh I’ve just been call it Ithacan Naga, but it’s objectively it’s a mix of snake, owl/bird, and human. So 🤷.

Tbh the wings are supposed to be white/gray-brown, cause owls & Hermes, while his scales are supposed to be an oscillating scale from sea green-blue to purple-tinted gray. Uhm. Evidently that sorta didn’t happen but also did. So.

The purple/grayer scales are gonna be more around with the feathers and wings.

Those fin colors are. Too blue and too bright but I love the colors themselves so they’re staying for now.

Uhm. That’s it for now, ig. I’m sorta on a timer rn and I’m tired so <3

Meet Aspa: Ody's and Poseidon's child

They're a small, nonbinary devil XD I know what you're probably thinking, but no; Ody wasn't the one who got pregnant this time. It was actually Poseidon. And nope, he didn't get knocked up the traditional way. Aspa was the product of blood mixing (during six hundred strike, some of Ody's blood seeped into Poseidon's open wounds, mixed with his ichor and ended up getting him pregnant). They're super attached to Odysseus and a literal angel around him. Poseidon, however, gets the feral side. He's honestly just their stress ball that they bite and chew on. Their design was inspired by beta fish and catfish :333 If you have any specific questions about the twins, feel free to ask either me ( @shinedoitsulikeabright ) or @axt-bs since we worked on it together :3 If you'd like to know more about Aspa, you can either ask here or you could ask me (at least while Sky's on hiatus).

#i actually do enjoy coryo as a villain and liked his origin story but people are really making excuses for him? and they know what he became #gale hawthorne #the hunger games #anti coriolanus snow #tbosas #like even in tbosas he shows that he is a sociopathic narissist. he tries to be good but those traits are still there and he embraced them #as for gale he was oppressed his entire life and lived in the poorest part of panem and resents the rich who were complicit in his suffering #the things he does for the resistance were things he thought was neccessary to win to end oppression #the other option was losing the rebellion and getting tortured killed and allowing snow to cause a lot more suffering #do i agree w everything he does? no because he is a character with flaws but i dont blame him one bit for decisions after the genocide of 12 #he has to live with the consequences of what happened during the war and what he had to do to survive #but he is not a bad person for fighting back and willing to kill to survive he also does not understand the toll it takes to have to kill #him and snow are the same age and they both choose survival but snow is choosing power for himself and restoring his families wealth #and gale is choosing to join the rebellion and willing to fight for the sake of the rest of his people and to put an end to the suffering #one creates an oppressive society and one is tearing down that society both do whatever it takes #wow i guess i have more thoughts on gales character than i originally thought and the comparisons with snow are interesting
