Working from bases what PoV, a Salubri Antitribue has caught Finn's attention. not a place such a member of her clan would ever want to be. She's not shy about trimming rotten branches of Clan Salubri. Sometimes being the eldest left... means you have to do the dirty work.

Challenge: LotR Characters as VtM clans!
Hmm. Hmmm.
Gandalf: I'm half-tempted to say he's of the second generation just as a cheat ;) But no honestly he's most likely an Antediluvian, given his age and status, and that means either replacing one of the existing ones or potentially being a forgotten Antediluvian. I want to say the latter? Definitely one of Enoch's Seer Lineage clans (the clans that have Auspex and a tradition of wisdom, ie. Toreador, Malkavian, Salubri, and Tzimisce), although he doesn't actually fit any of those. Yeah, I'm actually going to go with a forgotten childe of Enoch.
Saruman and Radagast: By inference, also Antediluvians. I would say that Saruman is part of Irad's Philosopher-Kingship Lineage, which led to the Ventrue, Brujah, and Lasombra (and Cappadocians, although their main inheritance from Irad is Fortitude). Definitely uses Dominate and Presence. Radagast fits very well into Zillah's Hunter Lineage (Haqim, Set, and Absimiliard), who all possess Obfuscate and are considered a little on the wilder side. All, however, are fairly unique in terms of clan, although Saruman I think does fit Ventrue or Lasombra decently, and Radagast would work as Gangrel. I do like the parallels of all three being unknown Antediluvians.
Fittingly, no one knows anything about the last two Istari, the Blue Wizards, which fit in with those clans who don't neatly fit into the Enoch, Irad, or Zillah trio (the Gangrel and Ravnos). Wanderers of mysterious background!
Aragorn: So he's 100% passing himself off as a Gangrel. Everyone he meets as Strider just goes, yeah, he's a ranger from the North, he's a Gangrel, he's super Gangrel. He's not, he's one of the few valid Ventrue who actually have leadership skills instead of just ambitions, and of surprisingly low generation. I want to say he's the 5th generation childe of Nefer-meri-Isis and definitely has her Auspex:
"Unlike many of her peers, she never held a throne, instead preferring to wander the African continent. Her reputation is one of self-sufficiency. Where other Ventrue methuselahs throw armies at problems, Nefer-meri-Isis tackles them herself.
Tales within the clan tell that she single-handedly fought Set and managed to incapacitate him after he had turned against her sire. In the Modern Nights, she is an active part of the Inconnu and monitors the activities of the Followers of Set.
Descendants of Nefer-meri-Isis have acute awareness, as a result of their progenitor's self-sufficiency. They find it harder to obey orders. Many Ventrue antitribu with an affinity for Auspex descend from her line."
Boromir and Faramir: Banu Haqim! Both are high-minded in terms of justice and are intensely capable in what they do, and both have to fight temptation (here, Boromir nearly succumbs to temptation to diablerise Frodo). While they're still biological brothers, they have different sires and thus belong to different castes - Boromir is Warrior caste, Faramir, the wizard's pupil, is Sorcerer caste (with Dur-an-Ki and Auspex). I can see Denethor being Boromir's sire as well as the brothers' father, opting not to Embrace Faramir, except, whoops, a clan mate swooped in and did so anyway, and so he ends up quite resentful that he's stuck with what he sees as the poorer excuse for a son…
Anyway I think Faramir should be able to diablerise Denethor. For a treat. (He doesn't, because he's better than that, tyvm.)
Legolas: Unlike Aragorn, he genuinely is Gangrel. Happiest outside and hunting on his own, tyvm. I can see his beast form being some form of elegant big cat over a wolf. Cougar, perhaps? He's not particularly low-gen, but his line is surprisingly solid and can be traced back easily to Ennoia.
Gimli: Brujah, of the older Philosopher King type, but also of the 'willing to go after you with an axe' type. He very much shows why the Brujah were considered High Clan, and also why it's a bad idea to annoy them.
Frodo: His soft poet hands and gentleness make him very obviously Toreador. His ass is not made for walking in the wilderness! He's meant to be studying poetry and lore and being comfortable!
Sam: Another Brujah. Deeply loyal to the cause (Frodo's happiness). Is 100% willing to throw hands for the cause (Frodo's happiness).
Merry and Pippin: Also Toreador - they're Frodo's cousins by bloodline, both enjoy partying and a distinct Lack Of Seriousness at first, both considered High Clan, stuff like that. As for their emerging combat skills, have you ever seen a Celerity-focused Toreador gunslinger build? Yeah.
Gollum: I mean. Malkavian is the obvious answer, but I would argue he could work well as Gangrel, just one with a derangement. He's become less 'human'-looking over time, has a fondness for raw fish, and is Not Happy to be around others. Yeah, I'm going with Gangrel here, low on Humanity and not doing great, with his hyperfocus on the Ring being the one thing that's kept him from going wight so far (his own Path of Enlightenment, more or less). Meeting Frodo helps him start recovering his Humanity; his struggle between Humanity (represented by Frodo) and the Path of the Ring ultimately leads him into wassail. A tragic tale!
So, of the Fellowship, we have a Ventrue, a Banu Haqim, a Gangrel, two Brujah, three Toreador, and whatever Gandalf is. Fun times! :D
Thanks for the ask, this was really fun!

Clan Powerpoint
Ventrue: Clan of Kings. Rulingg clan, in many places. Made for that shit, but also a lil arrogant about it. Not completely unjustified, but eeh.
Brujah: the opposite! The Rabble. Rebels. Slight anger issues. Shit happens. Historically in a squabble with Ventrue.
Toreador: Roses. Pretty people. Very Into the arts, socially adept.
Tremere: Blood sorcerers. Can Actually make your blood boil. Spooky & secretive. Very well-structured.
Malkavian: children of the Moon, iirc? Diviners. Get visions of the future and are all linked to each other. Mentally.
Nosferatu: information network. You should Always Assume a Nosferatu is in the room with you listening. Extremely cool people.
Banu Haquim: judge Jury and executioner over Kindred. In the Camarilla. (?)
Gangrel: Can turn into animals. Ish. No comment, they're just also cool af.
Lasombra: Shadow Magicians. Catholics? Idk. Shadow magic most importantly.
Tzimisce: Fleshcrafters. Can turn themselves and others into like. Actual dragons and the like. Also the only ones that can change your appearance after this point, I think, except perhaps:
Thin-Bloods: like half-vampires, kinda. Alchemists. Underrated by The Establishments.
Hecata: A collected clan, I think? Only one clan on paper? Something like that. Necromancers. I think. This one's a bit strange.
Salubri: Healers? But also evil. Kinda.
Ravnos: idk what they do but they have to be on the move constantly
Caitiff: umbrella term for Everything Else.
OK that's my PowerPoint. I'm sure dash will deliver additional information by reading into this <3 so you're welcome

Requiem of the Romantic
Love is such a selcouth passage,
And mendacious in it’s core,
It’s the promise of forever,
A false gambit, nothing more.
Puerile lovers will often sing,
Enamored salubriously,
And after life’s vicissitudes,
Only hum, lugubriously.
Love’s veil is sown in sweet beguile,
Stitched with fabric so malicious,
Its’ betrayal is never swift,
But tormenting and pernicious.
At first, descent begins benign,
Like the softest susurration,
And as a sorcerer’s spell, compounds,
malevolent iteration.
And through occult incantation,
It then conjures fear, distrust,
Anger, hatred, and resentment,
Disillusionment, and lust.
So fractured, then, the lover’s spirit,
Cannot exist, and so desists,
Here lies the failthful romantic,
Poet and sentimentalist.

Alright, to start this out, I'm not sure if there's a source book at talks about Japan in World of Darkness. There's a Samurai varient of Clan Venture I can't remember the name of in one version of Vampire, but I can't find anything on Japan itself, so I get to play with setting a bit, and if there IS info on it in some source, no there isn't. Leave me be.
Gundham Tanaka
This is up for debate depending on if you want to go with his persona or who he is thematically speaking, but Gundham, in my interpretation of the lore and his character, is firmly in clan gangrel who may or may not masquerade as a member of clan tremere if he's trying to be sneaky or just doesn't want to deal with who he is speaking to. Clan tremere are the blood sorcerer vampire clan that were created when Tremere, the antitribu or creator of the bloodline, did a ritual to gain immortality and diablerized Saulot, the antediluvian (which means before the flood, and this is referring to the biblical flood) of clan Salubri who was most beloved and thus made clan tremere outcasts and one of the youngest clans to exist. Gangrel are also outcasts, but for reasons that they are just more animalistic or have a stronger connection to animals than they do to more "human" kindred. Gangrel can talk to animals and even become animals, but it's less of a furry thing and more of a this fucker turned into a wolf and is about to eat your liver thing.
Due to just how gangrel embrace, turn, potential members of the clan, it would be easy for them to track down and get Gundham when tending to night animals. Like, okay, how they do it is that they sneak up and attack the potential childe, and they leave them to fend for themself. If they survive, they are welcomed into the world of the masquerade, and if not, ...well, they're dead.
Gundham, in particular, would likely remain independent, and he'll have a haven that doubles as an animal shelter to keep himself and his animals safe.
He doesn't particularly have a prey of choice and just goes with whoever he can sneak up on and get blood or vitae on without worrying about them exposing him for a creature of the night, but it is likely he'll prefer to get it from blood banks rather than getting it fresh.
If he does have a ghoul to go to, it will be someone he knows he can trust with his animals as that's more important to him personally.
While he doesn't frequent Elysiums (neutral grounds that are primarily aligned with the Camerilla), he'll go to them when needed either for information about his kind or in case there is a hunter in the area looking for their kind.
Werewolves (yes, those are canon in world of darkness, so are phantoms, witches, and fey. this is a source that has vampiric skinheads that are the fucked up love child between blood sorcerers and shapeshifting torture technicians from eastern europe, not much is off the table) don't really bother him. I'd say he has a neutral, if not sometimes tense, understanding with them and simply stays out of their territory or even aids them at times.
He is looking for his sire to diablerize them as while he has adapted to his new unlife, he is resentful of having to live this way. Though, if he goes through with it is yet to be seen.
He does gain a huge interest in Gehenna and the book of nod. Likely, he'll be pretty much the head scholar of it in Japan or at least one of the more notable ones.
Ultimately, he finds his happiness most in simply being safe in his haven with his animals, and his relationship with other kindred can be rather tense. At the same time, he is aware he needs them for his survival, and he has formed some alliances to keep himself safe.
Mondo Oowada
Mondo being a brujah is like stating that the sun is hot. It's a no brainer. The brujah are a clan of rebels, and while the anarch movement was originally created by clan gangrel, they are the primary force behind it in modern nights, if my understanding is correct, and since Smiling Jack who is a former pirate from the 1300s and now an LA based biker is one of the more famed Brujah, I'd say not making Mondo this is a crime, and if you fight me on this, I will win.
More than likely, his drive to keep up the gang is what caught the attention of a member of the clan, and that is what convinced them to embrace him into the masquerade. It was more than likely a Brujah allied with the anarchs rather than the camerilla, too.
His haven is the hideout where the Crazy Diamonds meet up. Whether he is the leader or not is up for debate, but he does keep it up.
More than likely he was encouraged to embrace the ones that were closest to him, but he likely hasn't turned them all into vampires, probably only Takemichi, at the very least, or at least turned Takemichi into his ghoul with him getting turned and leading the gang after he gets old enough or he needs to move on for whatever reason.
The baron of the kanto region, but if Japan even has a camerilla fraction and thus princes and thus a need for the anarch equivalent of a prince is up for debate. I'm saying yes though just to make the terminology much easier for me.
His prey of choice are rival gang leaders, though he does take quite a bit from blood banks whenever he is in a more peaceful time.
Likely still does wood work, but for the most part, there really isn't a need for him to try and build a career out of it. He might though, just for the fun of it and for a cover.
His own feelings towards the revolt and what that means for him now are rather mixed. On one hand, he does see the need fo r a change in the system the more that he learns about it, but on the other, he isn't entirely sure if he wants to dedicate the rest of his unlife to this cause that he doesn't have many personal stakes it. It's more out of a sense of loyalty to the other brujah that he makes any moves in it at all.
Kiyotaka Ishimaru
Okay, hear me out: also brujah. I know I just got done saying that that is the clan of rebels, but my mindset is that the one that turned him was really into his strong dedication to his own morals and wanted to see what would happen. The other clan that works for him is the Banu Haqim, but I think that's boring. Because yes, they are the clan that judges based on their personal creeds, the process of their embrace is rather long as the initiate is, preferably, put in an apprenticeship, but not always, and they are drawn to people with obsessive personalities like Kiyotaka. Does clan banu haqim fit him? Yes, like a glove. He would even get poison blood blades and a bane that would test him. ...fuck, I talked myself out of brujah with this, never mind.
Likely his embrace would happen in connection to his grandfather's downfall. Like, they would be keeping an eye on him due to how much of an affect the mortal world has on the masquerade and kindred anyway, but my thing is that they saw Kiyotaka's potential and have kept tabs on him for quite some time.
A part of the camerilla, no arguing with me on this. I highly doubt that he would join the anarchs with how he is and the sabbat are just... blatantly evil? If you want to attribute morality to all of this. Anyway....
Presuming that there are princes in each prefecture in Japan, he is likely the sheriff of his, and he ensures that the masquerade is upheld with the upmost care.
Most of his blood comes from those that he has to hunt either for the sake of the camerilla or from blood banks. He is very careful to ensure that he is fed before performing his duties due to the clan bane of the banu haqim making the blood of the judged basically mana from the heavens for these guys, and makes it hard for them to stop drinking their blood.
To make sure that he doesn't kill his targets unnecessarily, he has another vampire with him at all times while out, either at a distance or right next to him, usually a brujah.
Rantaro Amami
Problematic as it is... I gotta say clan ravnos for him. Ravnos was a clan that was built on racist romani stereotypes, at the same time, and partially to fix this, there was an event that wiped most of them out... so... that was.... great [very sarcastic]. Nowadays, it's used for as a clan of daredevils, with only their clan bane really reflecting the problematic past as the bane is that you can't sleep in the same location more than once within seven days or their blood will explode with the sun. This is due to a battle with their antitribu that involved orbital sun lasers fired by witches.... I think. It's insane.
Likely he came across them in his travels, and he managed to charm them with talks of his travels and his exploits in different countries.
Uses his network to try to find his sisters, and with how many more eyes that he has now, he has a higher chance of finding them.
To work around his clan bane, he finds working with the camerilla, moving from elysium to elysium to avoid the sun or using their other resources when he can to be more beneficial than to remain independent.
He has no particular victim that he prefers to feed on when he does feed from kine instead of getting blood bags, but he is careful to make sure that it doesn't violate the masquerade.
Due to his traveling, he doesn't really worry too much about his clan bane, but just in case, he makes sure that he's pretty far from the last place he slept when traveling.
Likely doesn't have any ghouls but he does probably know a few.
Sayaka Maizono
There are only two viable choices for her: toreador and daughter of cacophony, and one of them are singers, so take a wild guess which one I'm giving her. There's also the matter that the DoC are related to malkavians who are kind of, sort of, depends on who you're asking psychic? Like DoC don't have access to the network, and the malkavian influences only really come into play when they get lost in the fugue and become banshees, but I'll take this and move on.
More than likely, she accepted the embrace due to the fear of growing too old and losing her dream, but also just so she could keep performing for people for eternity. It does give her an enchanting voice that can literally entrance people, so there's that.
Alright, this is going to be callous, but I can't see her turning her best friends, but I can see her turning them into ghouls. I can't explain it other than that being a vampire for all eternity and forcing them to give up their lives for this dream doesn't seem like her style. Maybe if they asked to do this with her then yeah, but otherwise, fuck no.
Camerilla based, and a part of that is that A) she likes the attention that toreadors give her, and B) they can help ensure that she doesn't break the masquerade while she is still performing (the lack of reflection is a very specific clan bane).
She has a preferred elysium where she enjoys performing when she has some time outside of her idol duties.
While her fans are accepting that her meet and greets are now indoors and nights only, there are some that are suspect of her, another benefit of staying with the camerilla is that these rumors are kept in check by the nosferatu managing online boards mentioning her.
Sonia Nevermind
I was torn on Ventrue or Lasombra for her. On one hand, clan Ventrue's compulsion to have no one tell her what to do doesn't fit her, but on the other hand, Lasombra's (general) disregard for weakness makes her kindness and compassion for her people to be an undesirable trait for their embrace. All right, so look at banes and compulsions. The compulsion of Ventrue is arrogance meaning that if an order is not followed then it calls for a penalty until said order is followed, and the bane is that they can only have very specific types of blood that they can eat... ingest... whatever. For lasombra, the clan compulsion is ruthlessness meaning that they will stop at nothing to succeed and will not accept failure, and the bane has varients: one makes it so they can't see their reflection and the other makes it so they are callous to humanity. Looking at abilities, they both have skills that make people obey and make them strong, ventrue have the ability to draw people to them while lasombra have shadow magic powers...
This is a difficult choice, though ultimately, I'm going with Ventrue. I can flavor it a little to work with her. Would she be jealous of Lasombra and Tremere, yes. Could Tremere also work? Not really, but I'm glad that I asked and answered this.
Due to her clan bane, she can only drink blood from the people of Novoselic. While she is in Japan, her primary attendants are ghouls that have agreed to give her their blood as their eternal princess.
She was turned by one of her nobles who she realized hadn't aged since she was a young girl, but due a grave mistake, she was allowed to diablorize him thus taking away his grasp on her as her sire.
Novoselic, as a whole, is safe for the camerilla and their forces.
All right, there are two schools of thought for her vampirism affecting her position as the ruler of Novoselic: A) everyone in Novoselic is aware and while there are more attempts to kill her the majority of the country is cool with it or B) she lessens the powers of the throne by faking her death, and as they switch to a legislative democracy, she watches from the shadows to ensure they are working towards a good future or completely fucked off to Japan. I have not decided which is better yet.
She would likely be very interested in researching everything she can about kindred society and the history of vampirism. While in Japan, she would end up becoming the Ventrue Primogen of Japan unless in a verse where Togami is also a vampire, then we gotta talk about this.

Character Concept: Spooky Sorcerer/Warlock Multiclass
Ohhhh. So. I haven’t gotten the book yet, but apparently Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons will have a ghost dragon in it. As in an undead, the ghost of a dead dragon. And that is marrying up in my head with the Undead Warlock, possibly via the mechanism of a cursed hoard/piece of a hoard, and ohhh. Oh I like that idea. Maybe add it to someone who was a little odd and spooky anyway, the kind of person who would end up with a part of a cursed hoard in the first place, and then …
So. In honour of ghost dragons and Halloween, meet Honora Blackwood. Tainted scion of a less-than-salubrious family well known for black market dealings in artefacts, stolen treasures, grave goods, and general haunted objects, who may have picked up a little tiny bit of a curse because of it. But, hey, magic is magic, and a client is a client, even if they happen to be dead:
Character Sheet: Honora Blackwood
Name: Honora Blackwood
Race: Variant Human
Age: 28
Background: Criminal (Fence)

Hit Points/Hit Dice: 34 HP, 3d6 + 2d8 Hit Dice
Ideal: Anything, everything for the family, darlings. And a little bit for myself as well along the way.
Bond: In the interests of staying alive, relatively unscathed, and perhaps gaining a little bit of power and magic in the process, I need to talk to a dead dragon about a hoard.
Flaw: Oh, greed. Definitely greed. Without a doubt. Neither curses nor morals have ever stopped Blackwood acquisitions before, and they’re not going to start with me.
Proficiencies, Skills & Languages:
Proficiencies: light armour, simple weapons, thieves tools, Charisma & Constitution saving throws
Skills: Arcana, Deception, Perception, Persuasion, Stealth

Spell Slots: 4 1st level (Sorcerer), 2 2nd level (Sorcerer), 2 1st level/short rest (Warlock)
Warlock Patron: Calosaryx, the ghost of a slain adult green dragon (Ghost Dragon)
Description: A slim, straight-backed, pale young woman with green eyes and thick black hair scraped back into a loose bun behind her head. There is something … slightly off about her features, but it’s hard to tell what. There’s something slightly off about her expression, too, but that’s easier to make out. No one should look that quite that cold and ever-so-slightly amused by the world. At least not openly.
History:
The Blackwood family business has always been … less than salubrious. You might call them dealers in antiquities, fine arts, curiosities, but those in certain circles would also call them dealers in curses, hexes, black magic and stolen treasures. Truthfully, there is little enough the Blackwood family hasn’t dealt in at one point or another, though generally speaking they tend to stay away from … live cargo, shall we say. But corpses? Ingredients? Cursed objects? Stolen treasures? Grave goods? All of those and more have passed through the family’s hands and vaults on their way to whatever dark (or light) destinations happen to be paying the most money right now.
As a likely result of generations steeping in the corruption whatever tainted goods come their way, the family bloodline has gotten a little … odd. Children with strange gifts, odd physical features, and worrisome magics have been a fairly common occurrence in recent generations.
Honora Blackwood is no different. A perfect warped example of her line. Her oddness showed young, in some of the aforementioned worrisome magic, and an ability to reach out and speak to other minds. The Blackwoods being the family they are, her gifts were promptly and happily put to use in pursuing the family business. Since her teenage years, Honora has been one of their finest scouts and ‘procurers of oddities’, her talents lending more to the sharper and less administrative ends of the business, something she has always taken a certain amount of pride in.
It comes with a cost, though. Hazards of being a Blackwood. A recent job brought a certain … artefact into her hands. A small, tarnished brass-and-bronze medallion, showing two entwined dragons, tainted green with verdigris. Non-magical, as far as anyone could tell, but just because a thing isn’t magic doesn’t mean it isn’t haunted. When the object came into her possession, for the first time in her life, something touched Honora’s mind. A whispering voice, ancient, beguiling, offering threats and promises both.
Calosaryx. The ghost of a slain dragon, vicious, embittered and sly. The pendant was from her hoard, she whispered. She must have it returned to her. All of it, her entire hoard, but at the very least the pendant. The part of it Honora had touched. Calosaryx knew she had touched it. Every item of that hoard carried her taint. She knew them, each and every piece, and each and every thief. Return it to her, any part of it, and she would grant power. Magic. On her honour. But hold it from her … and the Blackwoods would learn the true meaning of a cursed object. Oh, the dragon promised. On her patience, and her fury.
So. Here Honora is. Taking a … sabbatical, perhaps, from the family business, in order to talk to the ghost of a dragon about a pendant, a hoard, and a curse. Perhaps she might look for a few other pieces of the hoard along the way. Just to offer back full proof of her compliance. And if she should happen to stumble across any other objects or items of value in the process, well, she is still her family’s daughter. No harm multitasking and picking up a few other things as we go. One for the dragon, one for the Blackwoods, and maybe a one or two for Honora herself or even someone else along the way …

Me: (Abruptly appears.) You: (Jumps, startled.) Me: I can assure you I mean you no harm. You: Who are you? Me: Who? Who is but the form, following the function of what, and what I am is an RPG blogger. You: I can see that! Me: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation, I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking an anonymous blogger who they are. You: Oh, right. Me: But on this most auspicious of nights, permit me then, in lieu of the more commonplace sobriquet, to suggest the character of this dramatis persona. Surprise! In sight, a small-time cyberspace scribe selected in substitution as simultaneously supporter and scion by the vicissitudes of the stars and the decision of the Scoundrel. This screen name, no simple show of superciliousness, is a successor of the scrīptor sortiāriōrum, now sequestered, split. However, this sudden showing of a sometime scrivener stands salubrious and has sworn to speak on this sweet and savory station slinging spells and summoning the stupendously supreme and supernatural sagacity of sortilege! Me: (Carves a gigantic "S" in the wall.) Me: The sole subject is ensorcellment; sorcery sustained as the substance, not in silliness, for the significance and sooth of such shall sometime substantiate the secretive and the superstitious. Certainly, this salmagundi of speech steers sesquipedalian, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to introduce myself to you and you may call me S. For Snake. Or Dragon. Whatever. For Sorcerer. You: Are you like a crazy person? Me: I'm quite sure that anyone who knows me will say so.
(Hi! I’m the new Sorcerer! I have just come on and haven’t quite decided what [if anything] I might change about this blog, but I hope to fill the shoes of my predecessor as best as I can. I’ll be adding to the queue soon; I have various ideas of what to post, but I also figure a queue is good so that you get delicious, delicious sorcerer content while I’m working. The inbox shall be open shortly.)

"I gave him time to throw it away. I'm not a monster." She starts to pull her hand away to return to the work she was doing, however Tok climbs between her and Dawson, now sitting on his shoulder and chirping.
She indicates the thing she's working on. "If I am sending you down to that party. I need to send you with gifts for the people throwing it." She explains. "Polite thing to do, at least for me. "This one is for Chez. I will be sending it down with the blood-spirit bags." She reaches over and hands him one. It is blush pink kidskin and decorated with pink diamond cherry blossoms formed into the shape of the Caduceus.
She grins. "Perks of having a matter mage aboard, gemstones are in frequent supply."
Along the edge is Finn's symbol for the Salubri Sorcerers, a Phoenix surrounded in golden fire with three eyes. This was stitched in golden silk and radiates holy power.
Dawson was very, very, very tired of tyhid bullshit. He was warned that there would be creeps on the internet, but this soon? Ew.
So, he knocked on Finns door, as she told him to do if people were being assholes.

Does Amelia have the magic gift like Ian?
Well, now that I think about it when Amelia Callahan used to be Kayleigh Wyldflaoer at the time I did mention that she came from a paternal lineage of sorcerers, which, now that you put it that way in your question, got me thinking that Amelia’s 40-times great grandmother Queen Edith Callahan was a sorceress who became royal by marriage to King Aydon as a token of his gratitude and his love for her after she saved his life when she was just a young sorceress mage named Edith Sparkstein when he was fatally ill as a boy by using a magical healing flower called the Salubrious Wildflower, which was a special kind of healing flower that can only be summoned by the magic gift of those in the Sparkstien lineage. It’s said that the Salubrious Wildflower has the power to restore the health of the one who partakes of it and, like how a wildflower blooms where it pleases, is said to span the life for many generations. Although, unlike the wizards who rely on their staffs to wield their magic, the sorcerers and sorceresses in general and the ones throughout Amelia’s paternal lineage wield their magic with their bare hands, and, unlike the bright blue color of the wizard magic, their color of their sorcerer magic is a bright purplish pink. So out of all the Callahan siblings, Amelia ended up being the only one with the magic gift from the sorcerer side of her paternal lineage. Also the flower in the Callahan family crest happens to be the Salubrious Wildflower.

When I said I was gonna keep myself from thinking and writing about a Malec World of Darkness/Vampire AU I LIED
So here we go: to not fuck too much with the meta plot of the actual game I think it would be interesting to make a parallel pre-clary/pre-second inquisition and a clary/post-second inquisition timeline.
Pre era : The Camarilla/the clave has maintained influence over New York ever since the Battle of New York/Uprising (of Valentine/Sabbat) and things go like kindred politics go.
The Camarilla/the Clave seeks the help because of a rumored Baali (demon summoner) becomes active in New York downtown. Magnus Bane, a Banu Haqim sorcerer, is the best man for the job. Regardless of the price/boon he would ask it’s of capital importance that he investigates and if needed being threatened into doing so. Enters Alec Lightwood, Ventrue, enforcer of traditions and Sheriff. Isabelle Lightwood, Toreador, weapon master and harpy, she is the voice of NY’s kindred society. and of course Jace Wayland, Brujah and Scourge, the muscle of the Prince who is in charge to do the dirty work. Jace has proven himself numerous times to be an ally of the Camarilla/Clave even if his clan isn’t inclined of following him.
Camarilla : Maryse Lightwood : Ventrue – Prince of NY Robert Lightwood : Toreador – Primogen/clan elder Alexander Lightwood : Ventrue  – Sheriff Isabelle Lightwood : Toreador – Harpy Jonathan Christopher Wayland : Brujah – Scourge
Camille Belcourt : Toreador (Antitribu) Raphael Santiago : Lasombra Antitribu Lorenzo Rey : Tremere Ragnor Fell : Tremere – Primogen/clan elder – former Prince of London Meliorn : Malkavian – Keeper of Elysium
Lucian Greymark : Gangrel – Primogen/clan elder Maia Roberts : Gangrel
Sabbat : Lilith – Baali Valentine Morgenstern : Brujah Antitribu Jonathan Morgenstern : Brujah (Antitribu)
Anarchs : Jocelyn Fray (fairchild) : True Brujah Clary Fray (fairchild) : True Brujah Simon Lewis : Toreador
Independent : Magnus Bane : Banu Haqim Catarina Loss : Salubri => protected by Magnus
Post Inquisition :
The Camarilla has fallen but so has the Sabbat. Clary Fray tries to rise up to the challenge to bring the Anarch Free States to a reality in NY city. Upon meeting Jace Wayland everything starts to fall apart and the Camarilla becomes no more as most followers turn toward the Anarch movement for protection and security. Of course the new Prince, Lorenzo Rey, isn’t planning on letting things slide as easily. The Inner Circle decides to intervene and sends a Justicar with their Archon to restore order and Camarilla influence over NY.
Camarilla : Lorenzo Rey : Tremere – Prince of NY Lydia Branwell : Ventrue – Justicar Helen Blacktorn : Gangrel – Archon Meliorn : Malkavian – Keeper of Elysium Aline Penhallow : Toreador Sebastian Verlac : Toreador
Sabbat : Valentine Morgenstern : Brujah Antitribu Jonathan Morgenstern : Brujah Antitribu Camille Belcourt : Toreador Antitribu
Anarchs : Jocelyn Fray (fairchild) : True Brujah Clary Fray (fairchild) : True Brujah Simon Lewis : Toreador
Alec Lightwood : Ventrue   Izzy Lightwood : Toreador Jace Wayland : Brujah
Luke Garroway : Gangrel Maia Roberts : Gangrel
Independent : Magnus Bane : Banu Haqim Catarina Loss : Salubri => protected by Magnus Ragnor Fell : Tremere – former Prince of London (presumed dead) Raphael Santiago : Lasombra Antitribu

((oh wow, three people wanted to know about Orsino's living quarters, huh))
Orsino used to stay in the Sabbat headquarters for 8 years until his official training as a member of clan Banu Haqim was complete; his 'living quarters' were a pitiful prison cell back then. When he finally left the Sabbat he stayed in Alamut; where he was accepted in the sorcerer caste. Most of his assamite blood sorcery training took place there; and was also able to fine-tune his quietus skills and become a proper assassin. Alamut is famed for its austerity, so his living quarters there were very simple and devoid of decorations; one was supposed to be there only for daysleep and no other activity. Although most of his nights were filled with studying and practicing, however, Orsino doesn't remember his time in Alamut very fondly, since the place isn't the friendliest for christians. On top of that, he had to deal with some extremely radical views of Haqim supremacy and dominion over the rest of the Kindred; so he was relieved when he was allowed to leave the Holy Mountain and follow the Path of Blood in the real world.
In modern nights Orsino shares a flat with other members of his clan as well as some Salubri kindred they are protecting-and yes, he can finally own nice things (he was ecstatic to realize he could finally buy a bed that didn't feel like he was sleeping on rocks.). Although he occassionally impulse buys nice throw pillows and blankets, that's as cosy as his bedroom gets. The biggest part of it is devoted to his desk and bookshelves, that clutter most of the room. Then there is a small chest, where he keeps everything he needs to perform blood sorcery rituals. This chest is under lock and key at all times and NOONE is allowed to speak about it or its contents, under the threat of diablerie. Oh, he also has a bookshelf dedicated to his medieval chant music sheets and he can now hang a cross on the wall above his bed.
((for those who do not know much on medieval/gregorian chant music sheets...

Oh no no no. Adara is a living dragon.
A DRAGON... dragon.
And I mean "Woke Up"
as in he's a mage now. A merlin of Space and Matter.
Me, I'm the mage and the healer. The one who brought Unicorns back and the first of the Phoenixes, the Salubri Sorcerers.
Decended of Holy Salout, and his grand childer. But walking with a hunter awakened, and a mighty dragon. I am little in comparison.
Thought that fit your vibe~
:) yes... yes it does fit :) though I will say I prefer rifles over shotguns... but yes

“Tremere: A clan of blood sorcerers and mages originally belonging to the Order of Hermes. The Tremere gained their immortal status by experimenting with Tzimisce Vitae (blood). Their ambitious founder Diablerized (drank all his blood) the Antediluvian(the first vampire of the clan) of the former clan Salubri, solidifying the Tremere's status as a clan. Their Discipline of Thaumaturgy allow them to use the power of their blood to cast spells but their dependency on Vitae makes them more easily susceptible to Blood Bonds (unable to harm the other vampire) . The clan is highly organized and its members are all partially Blood Bound to the ruling seven Elders of the clan. They are one of the founding seven clans of the Camarilla (one of the main alliances among vampire clans).”

hm. i feel like you could make it in the camarilla if you wanted to, but feel more at home with anarchs. you would make a very good toreador or maybe a tremere, if you dont mind everyone hating you
toreadors are the socialites of vampire society. they are most connected to the mortal world through art, and most toreadors are artists or actors of some kind. most other vampires sneer at toreadors, seeing them as weak posers and useless in any sort of combat. theyre usually right, but you shouldnt underestimate a toreador. if theyre not powerful in their own right, they definitely have powerful allies, mortal or kindred. they tend to rise pretty far in whatever politics they choose, sabbat, camarilla, or anarchs, but they arent as natural at leadership as the ventrue. they tend to their own visions first. they almost always embrace artists and visionaries. race and gender doesnt matter, but they are usually young
tremere are the sorcerers of vampire society. some assamites practice sorcery, but the tremere are strongly camarilla and thus easier to reach. they are very isolated and feared/hated by most kindred. the secrets of their powers are very closely kept, and their chantries (places of learning) are pretty much impossible to navigate without a guide. they are the youngest clan, and their antediluvian (founding member) made clan tremere by diablerizing clan salubri’s antediluvian, pretty much destroying clan salubri. clan tzimisce are their enemies, and they’re a big reason why tzimisce are in the sabbat. they are very strict in embracing, and their culture lends no room for deviation. in fact, all sabbat tremere were mysteriously killed all at once in a suspected tremere spell, but of course theyre very hush about it. partly to threaten the other clans “this could happen to you as well.” they embrace intellectuals, sometimes loners, just because they wont be missed. after you’re embraced, you can be an apprentice for decades or even centuries. impressing your elders is really difficult
