Today was my first day in Nockfell after 8 years of being away. I'd be happier about this, if there were better context for it. I miss my mom, even if it's only been two months. I hope she's happy, wherever she is.

You'll never guess who sits beside me in homeroom. LARRY JOHNSON. I don't know what it is, but it sickens me to have to be anywhere near him after he ghosted me for EIGHT YEARS. I hate him. Not only do I sit beside him in homeroom, but he's in ALMOST ALL OF MY CLASSES. The only time I get away from him is during my math class. Thank God I have at least one lesson away from him.

I dont even think he remembers me, and that hurts more than the rest of this for some ungodly reason. This whole thing is just so tiring. I hope he doesn't recognize me, it'll make things easier.

On the bright side, I made a new friend. His name is Travis. Apparently he has two other friends who I'll meet, but they weren't at school today. Their names are Ezra and Philip. I wonder if they're Christian like he is? Travis is pretty cool. But he's also very homophobic, so I don't know how good of friends we'll end up being.

I hope things go well, I don't know what will happen if I don't have friends here. Apparently it's really embarrassing to sit alone in the cafeteria.
