SO BASICALLY I MADE AN ABUSIVE CRACKSHIP OF IT THAT I HAVE BEEN OBSESSED OVER FOR THE PAST MONTH STRAIGHT...

I'll post some information about it if anyone is interested, but honestly my goal is to spread this crackship around the fandom just for shits and giggles.

St. Peter came to Joppa as the Lord led him & he stayed in the home of Simon the Tanner. In Joppa, there were many healings & salvations including the healing of Tabitha. This is old Joppa & somewhere in this area Peter resided.

School art project

The theme was to represent ugliness in beauty, and I opted to represent it through the sacrificial lamb

Purity through the horrors of a martyr

The beauty of devotion and the ugliness of the cruelty it shall face

The lamb is placed in a holy water font, as to represent the “bloodletting” of the sacrificial lamb to see human kind often represented in paintings, but also Jesus’ own sacrifice

beneath the lamb was placed a golden-like metallic paper to give the impression that the blood changed into it, this being a reference to the miraculous aspect of the holy blood of this lamb

The pearls represent in a childish, and pure way the tears flowing

Behind it are 2 wooden trays, on the 1st one are marks of when it was used to “sacrifice” the lamb, it is decorated in the same gilding as the gold water-blood, it reads “this is not blasphemy” in latin, the idea was to make it look like a religious icon by the colours and shapes of it, but also the usage of latin, it's also to remind the piece’s real goal, not to mock religion but to evoke emotions of it

At the very bottom you can see 2 keys inserted in the holes of the tray alongside long metallic wires, the 2 keys are supposed to represent these of heaven that Saint Peter bears symbolically

On its left is the 2nd one, it is a portrait of Saint Pierre/ Saint Peter, his portrait is downward to represent his crucifixion being that way, I decided to put him in the project as he represents a devotion that is very human, it is faulted at times but it is here and strong, “You are Peter and on this rock I will build my church”, around his face are symbols of the things above him :

Top left: the holy Trinity's triangle

Top right: the 3 eyes looking on the side represents Jesus with 3 faces, Jesus and the holy Trinity's representation, the 3 eyes look down on Saint Peter with 3 different expressions, neutrality, anger and sadness

Below left: the orthodox cross put downward to represent SaintPeters's execution

At the very top you can see 2 other keys, they have the same meaning as the previous ones

Both the lamb and Saint Peter are decorated of an halo to represent their holiness
