Le Relais de Grosne (Chez Norbert et Jacqueline), fermé depuis 1985. Pour le voir en version open et connaître sa petite histoire, il suffit de suivre ce lien. Ce Relais routier a vu défiler quelques vedettes dans les années 50 et 60. Les ruines ont toujours des histoires à raconter, il faut juste prendre le temps de les écouter.

Sainte Juliette

Aujourd'hui Sainte Juliette ou Julitte. Deso mais après tous ces destins pas brisés on repart dans le martyr. Ce sont des saints et saintes catholiques quand même, faut bien un peu de drama.

Juliette c'est un peu mamie Betancourt en plus dramatique, elle était riche et vivait au IVeme siècle. Veuve avec un enfant en bas âge, saint Cyr, elle se remarie avec un homme d'affaire... qui lui pique toute sa thune ! Le salopiaud ! Juliette elle veut porter l'affaire au tribunal, normal quoi, sauf qu'elle habite en Tarse (en Turquie) et qu'à l'époque c'est pas très chrétien friendly. Genre ils sont tolérés mais ils n'ont pas les mêmes droits que les autres dont celui de témoigner en leur nom, et ça il le savait l'homme d'affaires qui lui a piqué toute sa thune !(dont on ne donne même pas le nom tellement il n'en vaut pas la peine).

Juliette, qui est chrétienne évidemment, va au tribunal style de rien et défend son cas, et le juge est grave d'accord avec elle, en même temps c'est évident qu'elle s'est fait arnaquer. Et puis on ne sait pourquoi, un gars s'est levé dans l'assistance et l'a balance, comme ça gratos :" une chrétienne ne peut témoigner en justice" !

Bah du coup le juge lui a demandé de renier sa foi, elle n'a pas voulu, elle a gagné un golden ticket pour le bûcher, avec son fils saint Cyr d'à peine 3 ans. Pas de pitié avec les chrétiens. Rude époque.

Saint Cyr a donné son nom au village de saint Cyr qui accueille l'école. 3 ans et un beau prestige de saint quand même !

La Chambre du Dauphin (The Dauphin’s Bedchamber) This rooms still has much of its appearance from 1747, when it was redesigned to become part of the apartments of Louis, Dauphin de France (1729-1765). That year Louis, the eldest and only surviving son of Louis XV, and his second wife Maria Josepha of Saxony (1731-1767) took up residence on the ground floor of the central part of the Château de Versailles, on the side of the Parterre du Midi. In accordance with custom the alcove for the bed was hung with silk, the rest of the room was decorated with carved oak panelling. The bed seen here, is not the original but a so-called ‘lit à la duchesse’ that was placed here in 1991. The fabrics of this bed, that was made around 1740 for the Marquise de Créquy (1714-1803), were embroidered at the famous 18th century workshops of Saint-Cyr. The decoration on the headboard shows ‘The Sleep Endymiom’, after a story from Greek mythology. The armoire, that is inlaid with panels of red and gold Chinese lacquer, is from circa 1755 and was made by cabinet maker Bernard II Van Risen Burgh (or Vanrisamburgh, c. 1696-before 1797). It was transferred from the Louvre to Versailles in 1976. Its original owner was Jean-Baptiste de Machault d’Arnouville (1701-1794), a prominent figure in 18th century French politics; in 1745 he became ‘contrôleur général des Finances’ and in 1750 he became ‘garde des Sceaux’.
