Ambiorix
Ambiorix (c. 54/53 BCE) was the co-ruler of the Eburone tribe of Gallia Belgica (north-eastern Gaul, modern-day Belgium) who led an insurrection against Caesar's occupying forces in Gaul in the winter of 54/53 BCE. Nothing is known of his youth or rise to power; he enters and leaves history in the pages of Caesar's Gallic Wars which later historians then drew on for their own accounts of the uprising. Even his name is unknown as “Ambiorix” is a title meaning “Rich King” or an epithet meaning “King in All Directions”. However he came by that title, he actually shared the Eburone kingship with an elder leader named Cativolcus who seems to have been pressured into supporting Ambiorix's revolt and later regretted the decision. Ambiorix gained lasting fame for his clever deceit of the Roman garrison in Gaul under the command of Quintus Titurius Sabinus (died 54/53 CE) and Lucius Aurunculeius Cotta (died 54/53 CE) and the subsequent ambush which destroyed a Roman legion.
Caesar's Gaul
The Eburone Uprising was a complete surprise to the Roman forces as they believed they were on good terms with the tribe as a whole and with Ambiorix in particular. The Eburones were among the weaker tribes in the region and had become a client of the larger and stronger Aduatuci tribe to whom they paid tribute and surrendered hostages.
After Caesar defeated the Nervii and their allies at the Battle of the Sabis River c. 57 BCE, he reformed the tribal systems in Gaul, allegedly in the interests of equality and peace, but the reformation served his own purposes in decreasing the power and prestige of any one tribe. The Eburones profited from this as they were freed from their obligations to the Aduatuci, and Ambiorix personally benefited as hostages from his family were set free. The Romans, therefore, felt secure in their relationship with the tribe even though it was understood that they were still an occupying military force in the Eburones' land.

Chr. In 54 v.

NWR #17 "The Belgae Confederation"
The Belgae Confederation, better known by there individual names of Ambiorix and Boudica, is incredibly large and powerful engine from Belgium, and they are named after the ancient Belgae confederation, while there individual names come from famous ancient Celtic figures. Ambiorix is the more out-going yet hot headed of the two while Boudica is more mature yet cautious, and both are incredibly reliable and hard-working as well. They were built as the Belgian Franco-Crosti Boiler locomotive in 1932 in Tubize, with a 0-6-2+2-4-2-4-2+2-6-0 wheel configuration, making them a quadruplex locomotive. In 1935, they were purchased along with Andreyev, and the engine was used for heavy goods work on the mainline. In 2019, the engine was renumbered from 2096 to 17. They are still working on the mainland today, working together as a unit.

These people are absolutely pathetic.
Ah yes, being able to select your gender at character creation, overt pro-LGBTQ messaging. I swear if you let this crowd run loose, you'll have to give video game stores your birth certificate to get a male or female console to make sure you aren't playing as inappropriate genders.
Also "race swapped Suleiman" he looks exactly like he does in every historical record except for that one Titian painting where he has a lighter skin tone (and visibly MENA facial features because that's what he fucking was but shhh) because Titian likely didn't know how to do skin tones darker than Italian and pigment was expensive. That's the only way I could imagine thinking that a guy with a name like Suleyman, tenth Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, was white. Also "unimportant female leaders" you look me in the eye and tell me Ambiorix was more important to world history than Gitarja or Queen Victoria. These assholes will rewrite history if they aren't stopped.

The Celts were a diverse group of ancient tribal societies that inhabited parts of Europe from the Iron Age through the Roman period and beyond. They had their own heroes figures who played significant roles in Celtic history. Here are a few notable ancient Celtic heroes:
Vercingetorix: Vercingetorix was a chieftain of the Arverni tribe in Gaul who led a coalition of Celtic tribes in a revolt against Roman conquest during Julius Caesar's time. He is considered a hero for his efforts to resist Roman domination, although he was eventually captured by Caesar.
Boudicca (Boadicea): Queen Boudicca of the Iceni tribe is both a mythological and historical figure. She is celebrated as a hero for leading a rebellion against Roman rule in Britain in the 1st century AD, standing up for the rights and dignity of her people.
Queen Medb (Maeve): Medb, the legendary queen of Connacht in Irish mythology, also has historical roots. While her mythical exploits are well-known, she may have been based on a historical queen who ruled over the Connacht region. She is sometimes celebrated as a strong and influential leader.
Ambiorix: Ambiorix was a Celtic chieftain of the Eburones tribe in what is now Belgium. He is known for leading a successful revolt against Julius Caesar's forces in 54 BC during the Gallic Wars. His cunning tactics and resistance against the Roman army have earned him a place in history as a Celtic hero.
Caratacus (Caradog): Caratacus was a British tribal leader who resisted Roman rule in Britain during the 1st century AD. He led a long campaign against Roman forces and is celebrated for his tenacity in resisting foreign occupation.
Viriathus: Viriathus was a Lusitanian leader in ancient Iberia (modern-day Portugal and Spain) who led a successful rebellion against Roman rule in the 2nd century BC. He is considered a symbol of resistance against Roman expansion in the region.
And there are more. These historical figures are celebrated as Celtic heroes for their roles in resisting foreign invaders and defending their Celtic cultures and communities during times of conflict and conquest. While their stories may have been embellished over time, they continue to be remembered for their bravery and leadership.

Guerriers Celtes
