hey hey!! not related to much of anything except sailor moon but I was curious your thoughts on the oppositio senshi and their storyline in sailor moon another story?

Heyo!

I have not played sm another story and I know very little about the narrative, but it seems.. interesting. I’m never fond of the senshi and shittenou teaming up, but I do like the idea of past villains showing up again. To me it’s really just another sm story where “oh actually this new thing/person/place is showing up now and causing us trouble, you know this thing/person/place we all knew about, but never mentioned before or ever will again after this one adventure”. Ok, sorry, I’m nitpicking, but idk. Doesn’t seem like it’s for me, sorry.

The Oppositio senshi look.. fine, their designs aren’t my fav, but I don't hate them or even dislike them. I’m just a lil indifferent toward them. I do like the concept of opposite/evil versions of the senshi, but it’s been done already and it failed every time they attempted it.

I do like that they are wearing ties tho, that’s rlly cute. Also I like the Karen hairstyle on the Mercury one, she seems done with everything and I can rlly respect that.

And here we have probably the most obscure member of my series. Kousagi is Chibiusa's little sister from an alternate timeline where NeoTokyo isn't established until after all our guardians grow up and have kids. Kousagi is younger than the daughters of the other inner soldiers and they are kind of annoyed with her until she is discovered by this mysterious nameless pink cat and transforms into Sailor Moon. The manga isn't entirely sure if their whole sailor adventure was a collective dream or not, but I'd like to see more from this au, especially Chibiusa as an older sister. If it ever gets revived I hope they flex a bit on the other inner daughters bc in the comic they're just a little too much like clones of their mothers.

In Another Story, a sorceress named Apsu arrives from the 30th century. She has formed a group of girls from Crystal Tokyo known as the "Opposito Guardians" and ordered them to alter the past in order to change the future to her liking, with the ultimate goal of attaining the Silver Crystal. Apsu and her followers succeed in changing the fates of the defeated villains from the first three-story arcs, bringing deceased villains back to life and turning reformed and healed individuals back to the darkness. With the advice of the ghosts of the Shitennou, the Guardians set out to regain the Barazuishō (Rose Crystal), Tuxedo Mask's stone, in order to change Sailor Moon's destiny back and to save Crystal Tokyo. I wasn’t aware of Sailor Moon: Another Story for the longest time and when I did find it, it was impossible to find any media of the gameplay, so I thought I’d contribute to the community and record some myself! I’m replaying Another Story rn and just got past the part where Usagi has to fight the DD Girls again and she spends that entire section panicking and afraid of the Senshi dying for her again so I made sure to kill all 5 DD Girls with only her so she could do what she couldn’t back at D-Point
