Romantic relationships are something everyone thinks about at some point. A lot of people feel pressured to get into relationships because, for some reason, they make you "cool" in primary and middle school.

I cannot stress this enough, do not force yourself to get into a romantic relationship. It will not end well and you'll feel worse than you did before.

I really would not recommend dating anyone, out of pressure or otherwise, at a young age (like from 10-15, whenever you start to consider relationships "serious").

Your mind is not developed by this point and you and your partner will absolutely make stupid decisions that ruin the relationship.

At that age, you might hear this and think, "well, that won't happen to me. I'm smart enough and I'm genuinely in love with this person."

That's what I thought and got into a lot of relationships.

Now I have trust issues and relationship anxiety.

In a romantic relationship at that age, you more than likely will:

- Be cheated on

- Be emotionally manipulated

- Be taken advantage of

- Be emotionally/mentally abused (maybe physically too)

- Be lied to in general

And it really hurts. You might think, "my partner is an absolute angel who loves me! That would never happen!"

And if that's true, perfect, congratulations. But in young relationships, you really should be cautious (not paranoid) about it. There are people who have been married for 10+ years and never saw themselves cheating, who have cheated on their spouse. It can happen to anyone. Please be careful.

And PLEASE have some self respect.

In the early stages of a relationship (the "honeymoon phase"), it's very easy to put your partner on a pedestal and see them as so much better than you.

Don't.

If they start taking advantage of you or abusing you in any way, you'll force yourself to look past it because you got so attached to them.

This isn't victim blaming, it's hardly ever your fault when these things happen and it's very hard to break it off when they do, let alone see it as a problem.

All I'm asking is for you to try and see that you don't deserve to be treated like that. Try to be strong and end things when you start seeing red flags.

I know it's easier said than done, I know it is, just make sure you're talking to a trusted person about this stuff. Having an outside view on your relationship can REALLY put things in perspective.

Just be careful out there. Relationships can be so beautiful, but they're so hard and can be so draining.

They just need to get the spell components and Fearne can try to bring FCG back. And I'd say the Exandrian Alliance easily owes Bells Hells 1,000 gp worth of rare oils and unguents. Especially for the soul that killed General of the Ruby Vanguard Otothan Thull.

Hi I am Exceedingly Curious about leg theory but tumblrs search function is the only search bar that exclusively shows you things that AREN'T what you're looking for. May I have a link to an explanation of Leg Theory?

leg theory is the brainchild of the excellent and esteemed @catilinas and in short it is A Collection of Thoughts regarding Seafaring, Identity, Curses and Rituals, Sacrifice, and a Significant Leg Injury or Incident!

notable incidences of leg theory include: odysseus when scar on leg, john franklin's / thomas blanky's / ???'s legs in the terror, john silver's leg in treasure island & black sails, a good 45% of what's going on in moby dick, and that time my dad fell through a hatch on a sailboat and fractured his tibia in a way that was quite interesting for his character development.

Daily Sermon #49

If I remember correctly, Lamb's favourite ritual is Sacrifice of the Flesh.

It's very meaningful on multiple levels. For one thing, being so devout that you would literally give me your life willingly is representative of how much you trust me and how well of a job I'm doing raising a cult.

It also shows that you truly do care about the cause, to donate your life force to me to help me grow more powerful.

And for those witnessing and assisting, they should feel happy for their fellow cult member, for they have truly gone to a better place for their services.

Not to mention the absolute miracle it is to bear witness to such a glorious event.

I do not require you to lay down your life for me, though those who do so are certainly favoured.

Death brings fear to some, which is understandable, but in this case, it should instill awe and hope!

The most worthy sacrifice will die happily for me, for they put the cult's cause above their own life. It's what they want. It's what I want. And it's what you all want.

A sacrifice is the bonding of a cult member and their leader and it is a wonderful, beautiful thing.

Captain Kathryn Janeway as a Brilliant Tactician, part 1, 2, 3 (version 1) (version 2)

Star Trek Voyager, 7x10 -Flesh and Blood II (version 2)

Hirogen ships wildly outclassed Voyager and the first time Voyager seriously went up against the Hirogen, the crew lost control of the ship and they were forced to participate in various Hirogen hunting games.

The crew barely took back Voyager and Janeway had to give Hirogen the Hologram tech to get them off her ship.

And then in season 7, after the EMH Doctor betrayed Voyager and thoroughly sabotaged the ship. The Engine room was a mess and the only reason Voyager didn't explode is because B'Elanna reinforced the Warp core. And then the holograms kidnap B'Elanna.

Voyager, battered and limping was on a mission to retrieve their two lost crew members. So Janeway decided to use the Hirogen's hunting skill for their benefit and had the best tactic to deal with the Hirogen while Voyager was in no condition for a firefight.

And despite limping all the way while tailing the Hirogen ships, Voyager fought against two Hirogen ships and won.
