Okay this is so random but Zeff and Sanji getting saved by FREAKING Kaido out of all people and he gives them permission to have their restaurant but declares Sanji as his second son and basically Sanji is the back up heir in case Yamato is still having his Oden phrase when they're both adults. I feel like Sanji is extremely protective of his big brother because Yamato while extremely Standish off towards Sanji at first, the duo do get along and Sanji actually gets Kaido to chill with Yamato by bringing up how his father doing that with him didn't work or something. Sanji keeps in contact with Yamtao and Kaido after he and Zeff are able to get their restaurant. He still joins the Strawhats and the story plays out basically the same with Sanji being more ruthless towards his enemies. However when they meets Ace in Alabasta, he's like This guy is the one who wants to kill my dad and bone my brother and is on guard the whole time. But he does soften up to Ace. He ends up having Kaido save Ace and Whitebeard by saying that Ace would be better to grow stronger and maybe he would be the one who could be the opponent that Kaido has been waiting for but Luffy still feels useless because he couldn't save his brother by himself. And then they all train for two years.

Sanji meets Sabo and K during the two years and they become a throuple. Sabo wanted to thank Sanji for helping to save Ace and suddenly they're flirting and now Sabo has a girlfriend and a boyfriend.

Doflamingo recognizes Sanji as Kaido's younger son and freaks out and runs away from the Sunny because he's not about to give Kaido a legit reason to hunt him down.

WCI happens differently because Big Mom also Sanji as recognizes Kaido's younger son and it's Reiju who's being forced to marry one of Big Mom's children (ethier Katakuri or Bruelle) but Sanji has to attend as a guest to represent Kaido which is when the Strawhats finds out that he's Kaido's adopted son. Finally in Wano, Yamato and Ace reunite first and then Sanji reunites with Yamato and is extremely angry towards Ace for dating Yamato Sanji's big brother and when Zoro points out that he's dating Sabo, Sanji claims that it's 100% different.

Okay so that's terrifying. Imagine Kaido rolling up, taking them to Wano, and then just dealing with that. Sanji has so much trauma and then just dealing with Yamato being standoffish and peak Oden phase and Kaido treating him like Judge treated him? Yeah Sanji's not having a great time. Sanji is straight up suffering and you add in Queen? Everyone knows but Kaido isn't letting Queen do anything. Yet. There's a threat of it but like with Yamato's cuffs which is wild. Yamato is standoffish towards the newcomers, the child especially. Sanji is avoiding him, he's loud and he doesn't him and Sanji already knows what happens when kids don't like him. It's this weird dynamic for a while when they first arrive. It's this weird and daunting revelation when Sanji starts feeding Yamato that he's just this kid like him in a shitty situation neither of them want to be in but are forced to be in. Also the food Sanji and Zeff make is so fucking good and Yamato feels like crying every time he eats their food.

They grow up together for a while. They're all a little more comfortable with each other and Sanji talks to Kaido about his dad, what he did to him and how it doesn't help anything to constantly be antagonistic. It makes things worse actually, Sanji should know because his dad had a funeral for him despite not being able to kill him and Kaido listens intently and earnestly which is very unusual because he drinks so much and is rarely sober and doesn't listen to things he doesn't want to hear. He adopts Sanji by saying if Sanji ever needs killed it won't be a problem for him, he's not weak like the King of Germa. Sanji nods and it feels like a weight that settled in his chest has been weirdly Iifted. He feels freer despite being captive, even more so after Sanji and Zeff head to the East Blue to open Baratie. Sanji keeps writing letters to Yamato, keeping in touch with his older brother and sends sparsely to Kaido who responds even less than Sanji sends. All Sanji knows if he's needed he has to go back, to rule Wano in his adopted father's stead because that's part of his deal with cooking at Baratie and being the second son of Kaido.

Not that he thinks Yamato would be a bad ruler it's just the whole Oden thing and Kaido being Kaido about it. Yamato eventually writes about meeting Ace and his crew, the fight and the vivre card and Otama, they admits to liking Ace a lot. Sanji writes back about the warlords, the East Blue, other pirates and the Navy. Sanji is also known for ruthlessly kicking people out of Baratie. Literally. If they drown, they drown, everyone knows they technically are Beast Pirates even if they don't fly the flag. Still, when the Luffy and the others show up Zeff tells him to leave and Sanji does. He smirks at the fishmen to take back Cocoyashi. He probably killed a few too many to stay under the radar but Kaido would not want anything else from him. He still writes to Yamato and when he meets Ace he gets to listen to everything Yamato didn't say, which he regrets. Let it be known he regrets it. Ace is fucking WHIPPED for his older brother and it's gross. Sanji has never seen love or adoration like that and he rolls his eyes and gags. Ace playfully shoves his shoulder and says he'll understand one day, the bark of disbelieving laughter is enough to make Ace frown at him. They go their separate ways and Sanji keeps getting closer to his crew even as it grows. Nobody recognizes him as the second heir to Kaido, which he's thankful for. He lets Robin read some of his letters to and from Yamato, he makes desserts from Wano that delight Chopper. So when they're separated on Sabaody, when they're on the way to the execution out of pure desperation calls Kaido and begs him to help Luffy save his brother. And maybe he accidentally kicks a few Okama a little too hard. Still, when he meets Ivankov he finds out Kaido did help his captain, as did King. They were a big enough distraction to pull most of the attention to them and save Ace. Both still heavily injured but it's good. They're safe. Sanji spends the first few weeks training when he's accosted by a man in a top hat and suit and a girl racing after him trying to get him to stop and Sanji reflexively kicks the guy away. He looks dazed and confused at Sanji and Sanji is being cautious. That's it. Just cautious. Iva is chastising them for scaring the boy and they're apologizing rapidly and it's so fast Sanji doesn't understand it. Izou is another who gives you space when it's all a bit too much, somewhere to unwind without the expectation to engage. You can vent to him, too, and he won't punish you for it as long as it's in this specific setting. Make a scene, though, and he's not as merciful. You're gagged after too many verbal outbursts, something horribly embarrassing that has you doing the isolating yourself, save from them visiting you. Too many escape attempts result in shackles- they won't hurt you unless you hurt them.

Sabo is... painfully nice. It really throws you off. Doting and loving, acting as if you want to be here, oh-so-patient it's maddening. You will have everything you need, but you'll be so lonely without him. This is deliberate, of course, anything to get you to lean into that touch, to cling to him... Sabo is honestly a good option, in terms of yanderes. Doesn't force you to be affectionate too quickly, but heaps it onto you. Good food, a nice room, but when he's on his missions which can take ages, he... doesn't let anyone see you directly. He has things delivered, of course he does, and a snail to call you with, but it's still maddening. He's this low partially because of the isolation and because he actually is willing to hurt you. It is an absolute last resort that he will put off as long as he can- but you don't have to hurt him to earn it. If you break out to many times, he'll break a leg. He doesn't want to though, and you are very unlikely to even be able to push him that far.

Law is... not good with feelings. I admittedly struggle with his characterization because of this- stoic characters are hard for me. He won't hurt you, not when his power works the way it does, but it's still distressing to be rendered into pieces. It's... kind of miserable. He knows this, and he isn't happy about it, but he won't let you go. Honestly might be the type of yandere to not keep you close, opting to do something similar to when he had his crew live in Zou during Dressrosa. He's that worried about his crew- how could he bear endangering someone he's utterly obsessed with? A strange one in that I can see him distancing himself even as a yandere. But I can also see him keep moving the goalpost in regards to what he sees as safe enough- meanwhile you're trapped in a tiny submarine room, rarely getting any sunlight... and if your inevitable depression leads to you clinging to him, that makes it even harder to pull away.

Crocodile is a constant, unyielding presence. You always know when he's there, and when he isn't, you still know that anything you do will get back to him. He expects your gratitude. You get a few inches of lenience in the beginning- being abducted and expected to play house with a man like him is jarring to say the least- but he isn't kind about it. Mocks you for being fearful, but won't punish you for it. You can tremble when you sit on his lap, light his cigars, rub his shoulders. You can get teary-eyed when he pulls you close, able to taste his cigars and scotch on your tongue when he kisses you, just don't be too loud in your displeasure. Escaping or talking back are met with punishments. Ah, ungrateful, are you? Then enjoy a few nights in the doghouse, without any of the luxuries he provides. Minimal food, scratchy clothes, no bedding, etc. It's nicer to love him isn't it?

Kid pirates... it's going to suck. If it's just Killer: he won't hurt you unless he absolutely feels he needs to. But Kid? Yeah, he's loud and mean and it's likely he killed whatever family/friends you had on the island/crew he pulled you from when he raided it. Even if Killer isn't part of the relationship, he's your saving grace as the only one who can get the guy to calm the fuck down. Kid isn't against hurting you, but prefers not to- harder to be affectionate with someone who can't be touched without aggravating a wound. He doesn't want you broken and your distress is completely expected. Kid isn't one for comfort, though. The best you get is time alone to cry. You'd think all he has is disdain for your tears if it weren't for the way he huffs, and tosses his big coat over you before stomping away. Kid has his moments, and gets better the longer you stay, but... it's never good.

Doflamingo is still Doflamingo. He's the worst.

Luffy x Nami: Unexpected Proposal

Warnings: Extreme fluff; Spoilers (I think); Takes place in the future; a couple of theories I'm throwing in

Their hard work had paid off

All the blood, tears, shared laughter, unexpected obstacles, and adventure had come to an end.

Luffy had found the One Piece and became King of the Pirates and the news spread like wildfire. The slaves of Mariejois were free and the Celestial Dragons had been taken care of.

Zoro became the world's greatest swordsman

Sanji found the All Blue

Usopp became a brave warrior of the sea and is known worldwide for his heroics

Chopper finally found the cure to every disease known to mankind, even ones that had been left unsolved for generations

Robin found every Poneglyph

Franky now made ships for people far and wide and is sought out by anyone and everyone

Brook reunited with Laboon

And Jinbei was finally able to convince the fishmen and merfolk to trust humans and how the two races lived in harmony both on land and in the sea

Nami smiled as she watched the celebration going on in Laugh Tale right now. Her own dream was achieved as well. The map of the world was proudly displayed in a glass case made from a strong material that would prevent anything bad from happening. She sighed in content and leaned back against a stone, watching everyone. People they had met along the way were there, even those they fought in the past. The Cross Guild, Perona, Nojiko, Genzo, Foxy, Hancock, Iceburg, Paulie, Zeff, Reiju, Bon Clay, Conis, Shirahoshi and her brothers, King Neptune, Hachi, Camie, Pappag, Duval, Bartolomeo, Viola, Rebecca, Coby, Helmeppo, the entire Revolutionary army, the Heart Pirates, Bonney, Kidd, Kiku, Hiyori, Momo, Yamato, Smoker, Tashigi, Hina, and of course Vivi and Cobra. Hell, even Katakuri and Pudding showed up. Nami laughed as she watched Luffy bicker with Garp before the two fell asleep briefly. She pushed herself off the wall and walked to the extremely large buffet table. Sanji was still cooking up a storm with Zeff and Hachi's help. Good thing, too, since Luffy was eating like he hadn't eaten in days. She refilled her mug with some high-quality wine Mihawk had brought and picked up a small quiche.

"Big party, huh?" Vivi asked, walking next to her friend. She was holding a plate of fruit with a whale skewer in one of the pieces.

"Tell me about it. I'm surprised this island hasn't sunk with how many people are here," Nami replied causing the two to start giggling silently. They stood, saying nothing as they observed everyone around them. The people who they had so many memories with were all celebrating one person and for good reason. Nami's eyes wandered until they landed on Luffy. He was stuffing his face but that's not what caused her gaze to linger. Former warlord Boa Hancock was seated next to him, slightly turned away, a blush on her cheeks and her finger tips pressed against each other as she spoke. Nami couldn't make out what she was saying but was sure it was something about how she loved him. Luffy, of course, didn't register.

"You should tell him." Nami jumped.

"What?"

"You should tell him how you feel," Vivi said, gesturing to the redhead's hand. Nami realized she had gripped the quiche so hard it was now ruined. She sighed and wiped it off.

"You know I can't do that."

"Why not?"

"Because we're Nakama, Vivi! And besides do you think that Luffy even returns my feelings? Much less when he has the undivided attention and affection from the most beautiful woman in the world?!" she shouted. Luckily the party was loud enough that not many people heard her. A couple heads turned but they brushed it off. Vivi set her plate down and took Nami's hands in her own.

"Nami...when I admitted my love for Koza, he didn't believe me at first. He thought that I was joking because I was royalty and he wasn't. It took some time for him to find out I was telling the truth but when he did, he couldn't believe it. He had loved me since we were children and that deep rooted voice in his head told me I would never reciprocate his feelings so he neglected to tell me out of fear... if you do the same, you'll lose Luffy for good. You will still be friends but you will never forget that you had a chance to make your true feelings known and you didn't because you were scared. You and Luffy have faced so much together. He saved you from Arlong, you're the only one he trusts with his hat, and you've fought alongside each other against the deadliest of opponents. You believed that he would be king of the pirates and he believed you would draw a map of the world and now here you both are. Surrounded by people who love and admire you. I have a feeling that Luffy loves you more than you may think. All you have to do is talk to him." By the end, Nami was crying and she threw her arms around Vivi, hugging the princess tightly.

"Thank you..." she mumbled.

"I'll always have your back. Now go," she said, nudging her in Luffy's direction. Nami started to walk in his direction and stood in front of him.

"Eh, Luffy?" He looked up and gave her a big smile.

"Hey, Nami! Have you tried the food? It's so good!" She giggled and nodded.

"Yes I did..." Nami looked at Hancock briefly, whose piercing gaze was boring into her head. "I, uh, was wondering if we could talk alone, Luffy?"

"Hm? Sure! You can have Hammock's seat!" Nami avoided a grin and a laugh at that statement but decided to sit on the other side of Luffy instead. Hancock rolled her eyes and glared at Nami before getting up and walking away, shoving Buggy to the ground in the process.

"So what'd you wanna talk about?" Luffy asked, shoving a piece of cake into his mouth. Nami couldn't help but stare. He was so immature, loud, and messy... but he was also kind, made her laugh, and was fiercely protective of not only her but everyone else who asked for his help. Luffy tilted his head when she didn't say anything.

"Nami, you ok? Are you hungry?" Nami sighed and shook her head with a small smile.

"No, Luffy, I'm not hungry, I,...I need to discuss something very important with you."

"Ok! What is it?" he asked, shoving a whole cantaloupe in his mouth.

"Luffy... ever since I met you, I had this feeling that you were different from any other man I met. The way you went about life so carefree and fearless was intriguing and it made me somewhat scared for your life. However...as I stayed with you and kept getting to know every part of you, my feelings grew into something much more serious. When you put your hat on my head back in Cocoyashi and promised to help me with Arlong, I felt something grow within me. Something that I hadn't felt in so long. And every time you smiled at me, saved me, or even promised to help someone else like Vivi, that something kept growing bigger and bigger. It took some time to come to terms with but Luffy...I fell in love with you. And I fell in love hard. I know you might not reciprocate or even understand the meaning and I understand if that's the case but I just wanted to tell you that-."

"I love you, too." Nami's head snapped up in shock.

"W-What?"

"I love you, too." I talked to Robin about it one time after we got her back from CP9, and I told her that it felt like things were dancing in my stomach whenever I saw you or was close to you. She explained to me that I was in love. I still don't fully get it, but what I do get is that I am in love with you, too." Nami felt like she was going to cry. All of the fear she had initially felt was gone.

"But, what about Boa Hancock?" Luffy shrugged.

"Eh, she's not my type. Also, she's like 12 years older than me, which is kinda weird." Nami couldn't help but laugh a little at that.

"Nami..."

"Yeah?"

"You know I'm King of the Pirates now."

"Of course. Why else would we be having this party?" she said half sarcastically.

"Well...a king needs his queen." Nami gasped softly at that. She turned to look at Luffy searching his eyes for any signs of deception but saw none, only truth.

"Luffy, you know that kings and queens are typically husband and wife, right?"

"I know that. And?"

"But we're not married." Luffy reached over and grabbed her hand.

"Then marry me." The redhead's eyes widened.

"Luffy..."

"Marry me, Nami. I know it's fast but I love you. Be my queen... please." The dam had broke, and Nami had tears streaming down her cheeks. Sanji noticed, and his gaze turned fiery.

"LUFFY!! WHY IS NAMI-SAN CRYING?? WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER??" His yelling caught the attention of pretty much everyone else there, and they all stared at the two. Sanji set his leg on fire and leaped into the air, about to land a flying kick to his captain's face. Nami exhaled a shaky breath.

"Oh, Luffy, of course I'll marry you." Sanji stopped in mid-air and fell on his face.

"WHHAATTT???" everyone shouted at the same time, save for Robin and Vivi, who were both giggling off to the side. Luffy grinned wide and laughed.

"Shishishi! We're gonna be the greatest king and queen ever!" he said, wrapping his stretchy arms around Nami in a tight hug. Nami laughed too and hugged him back just as tightly. Everyone started cheering and clapping. Sanji was face down crying into the dirt. Hancock was off to the side chewing on her sleeve.

"Congrats guys!" Usopp shouted, clapping both of them on the backs. Robin and Chopper hugged Nami while Franky and Jinbei ruffled Luffy's hair.

"Never knew you had it in you, Captain," Zoro said with a smirk, taking a sip of his beer.

"Oi! Strawhat!" Luffy looked up to see Genzo giving him a stern look.

"You remember your promise!" he said, raising his mug. Luffy nodded and bowed.

"And I'll keep that promise!" Everyone's drinks were refilled and Sabo, with his arm around Koala, raised his glass high into the air.

"A toast! To the new king and queen of the pirates!"

"To the king and queen!!" everyone shouted happily. Luffy pulled Nami close to him by her waist and pressed his nose to hers.

"To us," he said. Nami smiled and placed her hand on his cheek.

"To us." They kissed softly as the cheering got louder and Usopp, Franky, and Bartolomeo let a barrage of fireworks off. Luffy and Nami watched the fireworks and Nami stole a glance at her now fiancé's huge grin. She was going to marry her best friend and she was going to be a queen.

And she was going to be the best damn queen the world has ever known.

And,, This is making me go insane. Okay. Okay. Lesbian thoughts, I mean- Pretty girls- I mean- Coherent thoughts.

Thinking about Koala and Sabo staying for a few days with them just because they can. Because I think revolutionaries also need their free days. They don't pay them but let them enjoy them at least. Nami and Koala grow really close during these days, and they know it's the last night they're gonna be in the ship because they have responsibilities. Koala is feeling odd because, after leaving everything behind to focus on her ideals, now she has something she wants to treasure and keep with her but she can't do it. And she's starting to understand Sabo way better now and why he always has a hard time leaving Luffy (and Sanji) behind. Nami and her have something going on. A connection. A bond. Fate? She doesn't believe in such. Or the universe. They shouldn't believe in that. But there's just something different about her... And in such a short time, Nami has made her way to Koala's heart.

So Nami is on night watch, right? Courtesy of our dear Sabo moving a few lil threads and saying that Sanji can't possibly do it because he's just sooo exhausted of cooking and he needs somebody to cover for him, and Nami is a good friend. A "good friend" meaning: "I am so charging you for this but enjoy your secret fucking". And of course, Sabo tells Koala to make a move already. She says it's too soon. Or maybe just too risky, keeping in mind they won't be seeing each other for a long time probably. Sabo insists, Koala refuses. But then, she can't sleep. She can't do it!!! She needs to see Nami right away. She might not do anything, but at least she can spend one night with her.

She finds Nami taking care of her tangerines and walking around the ship because she doesn't like sitting still sometimes when watching the ship. She looks around at the sea. Talks to her and Usopp's plants. The usual. Their conversation starts shy and slow and somehow there's so much depth in simple words like "I just thought it'd be nice seeing you" and "I'm glad you did". And so they talk for a little while about everything and nothing until the sun is basically shining over them, barely, and they know the crew's going to wake up soon. Nami seems calm but oddly shy. Like she's expecting something but doesn't have high hopes for it. And Koala thinks that if somebody like Nami, who is used to take what she wants because she's a pirate, doesn't do anything, then somebody so tied to her responsibilities like her should be able to go against her persona too and do something. Or else she will lose this chance. She hates that the last thing she hears before kissing Nami is Sabo's voice telling her to do it, but, well, they've always been each other's inner voices.

So she has to stand on her tiptoes to kiss her, holding her gently by the shoulders and pressing their lips together right behind Nami's tangerine trees while the sun is rising. Nami smiles into the kiss oh so softly and she laughs as if she had been waiting for this for a long time, while Koala doesn't exactly know why she's laughing but laughs too anyway.

When they move away, Nami looks at her fondly and says "You know? I was starting to think I'd have to be the one doing this". And Koala knows, that no matter how far away she goes, they'll be alright.

one piece modern/college au drabble

a/n: based off previous headcannons :)

cw: mentions of marijuana, harem?, probably Westernized (I'm sorry, I'm from the US 😭), kinda crack lmao

you had gathered up some of your friends to have a smoke session on the back porch of whoever's house this party was at. along with you were nami, robin, vivi, koala, zoro, sanji, sabo, ace, law, killer, and kid (kid and law have been fighting all night for your attention). you look around at the group and start to sit.

“okay,” you clap your hands together as you sit at a seat between ace and law. “I got two to split between the twelve of us” you hand one to sanji, knowing he’s the least likely to choke while lighting it and is the most likely to have a lighter on him (he swoons because you chose him), and put the other one up to your own lips.

you light your joint with your little zippo lighter and inhale deeply, making sure that the end is fully lit. you pull the joint away from your mouth and exhale, then take a few more hits.

“wanna indirectly kiss me?” you teasingly ask, offering up the joint to law. before he even has time to respond kid quickly, but surprisingly gently, plucks it out of your hand and takes a massive inhale, and…

immediately starts coughing his lung out. he hands the joint to killer as he walks away, who courteously hands it back to you, gives you a nod, and follows his friend.

you hold back a laugh, take another puff, and offer it back to law. while smirking at winning this round against kid, he takes it from you, takes a long drag, and exhales like it's pure pleasure.

“didn't expect a doctor to enjoy weed so much” you chuckle out. he gives you a smile and says, “people self medicate with it all the time, why can't I?” you look at him and give him a wide smile, “I mean, fair enough, I’m doing the same thing!” you laugh, and he takes another hit.

he looked absolutely stunning, taking hits from the joint like it was pure pleasure. you could practically drool from how good his neck looked when he looked up to exhale the smoke.

someone behind you wraps an arm around you and pretends to shut your jaw. "shut your mouth, you're gonna start drooling" ace jokes in you ear.

you turn to him and hit him in the chest, "shut up, asshole" you mumble...
