What is this? A short event to have fun this Halloween (Oct 31) and Día de los Muertos (Nov 1&2).

Some more~ i had a lot of fun with these designs <3 (a break down for them under the cut)

Kid and Killer would be two Gym leaders who introduce the idea of Duo battling in the story mode of this hypothetical game. They'd probably be one of the first gym leaders the player would face.

They would enjoy their job of getting to beat up teenagers thoroughly even though they'd have to hold back for the sake of not killing them. (for legal purposes obviously). They Profight on the side to let loose sometimes. To make sure people still know they're dont

Carrot: @majestick-posts-op's design for carrot inspired my design for her, the elbow pads and leg warmers gave me the idea of a roller skater and ideas took off from there! the silhouette of the helmet to match her original silhouette from her bob is a perfect way to keep her original silhouette and have her suLONG hair. For her hearts, i know its obvious but she loves her tutu, she loves her roller skates so the hearts are on those. but if you look closely, there are also hearts on the carrots on her helmet!

Shirahoshi: i was having trouble with her design at first, but then i looked up what kind of fish she's supposed to be and a vision immediately appeared in my head

look at this thing. look at those pathetic eyes. what a creeeeaturee.... so i made her a crereeeaturrreee. The silhouette of her hair loopies and her head is supposed to look like a fish, and the bottom part of her sweater is supposed to also evoke fins/a tail! Her top is meant to reference H2O Just Add Water mermaid tops, and she is all around kinda loosely inspired by MLP:FIS Fluttershy <3 I really tried to make her look kind of regal, with her sheer sweater and long flowing hair. But also i wanted her to have elements pulling her down to earth, like having heir hair all dirty from walking in nature and flip flops to tie in her whole beachy feel. The heart on her design is on her big ol' Nature Club pin on her left chest, even over her heart.

Kid: There's a lot with him that i felt i needed to scrap (Pun Intended.) because i just had no way of incorporating his powers into the power system i have. So i'm thinking instead of metal he can repel and attract, he throws and absorbs cactus's into/from his Big Cactus arm with his Growth, Absorbing, and elastic powers. You can vaguely see his hearts in the pinks of his cactus hand! but the real ting indicating his heart is probably his belt buckle and his neck bandana ;3c

Killer: The whole reason i got the idea to make these two Plants That Hurt is because when i was sketching out the silhouette for killer, i thought i had make his hair kinda sorta look like the mouth of a venus fly trap and my mind was like "Wait. Say That again." so i went off from there! I got the help from my friend @zethsdumpster and their friend who's the local Kid & Killer Thirster and we came up with the idea of them being punk cowboys too! and now here we are <3 Killer's boots are meant to look like terracotta pots and his hat is meant to look like a venus fly trap about to munch on a fly (the white and yellow sash around it). The blades on his gauntlet things, i added a handle part to them to make them look like sickles because sickles are used for gardening and that was really the only way i could tie in whatever the hell those things are to the motifs these two have. Killer's heart if you squint is in the negative space from his choker and open buttoned shirt, the color of the choker being Kid's color EHE HEHEHE EHE EHEH EH EH

YEAH I MADE THEM HOMOSEXUALS WHAT ABOUT IT?!?!??!!? AND WHAT ABOUT IT?!??!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!? I bought the game Tiny Glade to make this building layout LOL and i really havent played it since <3 its a lot of fun though, i enjoy their ducks and their sheep :3 though i would appreciate if they added in a copy building option.

The building is inspired by the school buildings in Card Captor Sakura and Ouran High School Host Club! I wanted a really romantic design like a castle to contrast heavily with the Full Colosseum Structure behind it. Though if i could do it differently, i think i would instead put the arena where the track field is instead. but like theres only so much room on a Tiny Glade workspace.

I have been working on inside setting images too but it is. life draining. This is why I'm a character artist not a background designer.

The middle school Carrot and Shirahoshi would go to would be a sister school to the DDBA and would be close by but in a different location.

Ichiji is too weak for him

they end up dancing, hugging each other, talking in soft voices and/or Ace humming the melody

Unfinished portraits from the 1900s ABO melodrama~ Unfinished because I was playing around with stippling and ignored all of the advice to do it in short increments. The hand is unhappy... But the brain is pretty pleased with these though I'll probably redo Niji's and MAYBE Yonji's. These are basically photographs Judge sends to perspective mates to show 'proof of purity' or basically that they are indeed unclaimed. So very SCANDALOUS to show a bared neck, ooooh~ bunch of giraffes Me and @zethsdumpster agree that it would be an outdated thing that only the high society does. Either way these are potentially plot important somewhat, for me at least in particular Sanji's as he is VERY intentionally drawing attention to his facial hair as a 'fuck you'. Niji is visibly uncomfortable/pissed off/ten seconds away from attacking the photographer, Yonji is embarrassed, and Ichiji 100% knows the assignment and has also shot for extra credit.

Setting: vaguely fantasy-historical, Victorian inspired

CW for references to SA and trafficking, prostitution (it's a bit angst for the vinsibs but we follow from when things start to get better) but Happy Ending

Judge who uses his kids to get whatever he wants (usually commerce stuff, deals and whatnot) and that sometimes has them doing escort work or even some sleeping around, with Ichiji being the most popular (obv)

This time, he's doing a trade deal with Whitebeard, who has brought some of his sons to accompany him, one of which is Ace.

Ace and Ichiji end up meeting in a casual way before the formal reunion (like, maybe Ichiji was seeing sth interesting at the park and Ace saw it too and was like *whistle* "that's cool/beautiful" and they just kinda started talking and getting along and when they officially meet at the meeting Ace is like *happy to see Ichiji* "hey, it's you!" - > proceeds to explain and tries to make more casual chatter with Ichiji)

And Ichiji notices the ideas forming in Judge's brain and his blood runs cold, it's obvious that he plans to use Ichiji in some underhanded way because he noticed the way Ace saw him

Later, Judge arrives (with Ichiji) to strike a special deal with Ace that includes letting him borrow Ichiji (Judge jumped to the wrong conclusion since Ace kinda looks like a fuckboy)

And Ace is both disgusted and horrified

He stares, getting angrier and angrier as Judge pretty much gives Ichiji away for Ace to use however he pleases for a night, until he takes Ichiji and drags him away, getting misunderstood by both

But things get cleared with Ichiji when he doesn't get dragged to a room or sth, instead Ace takes him to the park, it's dark outside and, since it's pretty late, there are only a few people there. And Ace just takes his anger on a tree or sth. While Ichiji stares confused

They do end up returning to Ace's room, and talking: Ace does question him a bit and Ichiji ends up answering honestly and that just gets Ace more incensed

Ace promes Ichiji to free him from Judge by any means necessary, and saying some other stuff, and going to sleep in the room's chair or sofa or sth so Ichiji can keep the bed and feel comfortable

And Ichiji just stares, confused, the whole time

It doesn't dawn on him until Ace is fast asleep and he himself has been laying under the bed covers for a while now and he almost cries

Thatch and some of the others go in to wake him up only to find Ichiji asleep in the bed and (maybe) Ace coming out of a shower and, obv, they jump to conclusions. Ace tries to keep them quiet (and at the door) but they still wake Ichiji up

Someone says sth about Ace having to take responsibility

And, boom, idea, contract marriage

Judge is kinda taken aback by the marriage proposal but, hey, it's always a good thing to have a positive connection to WB

Cue marrie life with Ace at WB's state with Ichiji always baffled at how much freedom he's given and how Ace keeps, pretty much, not forcing himself on him or sth

They sleep in the same room (Ace's) to try to keep up appearances. But Ace keeps sleeping on the sofa. Until Ichiji has had enough of that and insist Ace takes the bed. They end up sleeping together. And Ichiji surprises himself by not taking that long to fall asleep (he's surprised by how much he trusts Ace)

Ace also talks to WB about everything and WB has the idea to invite the Vinsmokes to stay at his manor for a while for both the wedding, getting to know each other better and more business stuff so Judge won't have time to go around offering his kids to people and so they have time to investigate and prepare to doom Judge and save the Vinsibs

Luffy learns about all of this when he and Sabo visit Ace (and that's also how the YonjixSabo stuff gets kickstarted)

Fortunately, Judge leaves before his kids Cuz he has other businesses to tend to and he allows them to stay, just to stay in WB's good graces

They stay all in the same wing where Ace's room is. They end up sharing rooms often, looking for that feeling f of safety in a new place, even having pajama parties sometimes, just the four of them. But, with time, they do end up making themselves a home in WB's state, helping around and making friends, feeling the safest they've ever been since their mother's death

Blackbeard is also around, scheming to (among other things) take everything that WB has to himself (because, obv, WB wouldn't leave all his things to only one of bis many, many children) but Ichiji's paranoia saves Thatch from being murdered by Teach and also makes him a target of Teach who now will also try to sabotage WB's plan and take Ichiji from Ace, both as an insult to Ace and to settle a deal with Judge, who'll let him keep Ichiji like he let Ace

As for Sanji, he was stolen away by Zeff when he heard some plans Judge had of giving Sanji away (he would've taken the other kids too but it wasn't possible at the moment, he could only hope that they wouldnt have to go through that since Judge seemingly actually loved his other kids, unlike his obvious disdain for Sanji). Sanji learns about what has bee happening thanks to Luffy and decides to help too.

But I must insist for you not to worry. I've not been overly stressed, it's just that my schedule has been all over the place. So, while I've been able to get into a new hobbie (book binding!), house and family stuff has kept me a bit occupied (nothing bad! Don't worry).

There's just a lot of things I want to do, most of which I haven't even sat down to think about, much less plan, but I will get to that sooner or later!

This AU has EVERYTHING except for competently drawn bicycles I WAS TIRED : action, romance, mystery, court cases, revolutionaries, arson, kidnapping, patricide, and most importantly the Vinsmoke boys in pretty, pretty dresses... which is really the only reason all of this came up, I just doodled them in the S-shape dresses and off we went to the races!

Side note, the younger versions are in the 1880s era so bit of a different style. I drew Reiju younger, too, but uh, she kinda looked like she was cosplaying Beetle Juice
