( @xxgotthedevilinsidexx asked: “ I know that feeling. That pain. That hate. ” ( To Shane From Sherry )
there had been a time when pain and hatred weren't a part of his dna. time was meant to heal and while it had, a gruesome thick scar was in its place and it does nothing to soothe the ache. survival thus far had kept his mind from backtracking too much. then, in the quiet, he feels like he's lost, bombarded by a past that made his throat close up and his fists ache. shane hears sherry and for a moment, he fumbles with what to say, feeling bare and vulnerable.
the end of the world had torn them all apart, hadn't it? then rearranged the pieces.
❝ would y'believe me if i told you it wasn't always like that? didn't have much to hate. didn't have much to be mad about — ❞ he chuckles, albeit a self-deprecating one.
he's better at the sanctuary. but the ongoing conflict with alexandria took his past and threw it back in his face with bone-cracking force. with the world in shambles and him across the damn country, he never thought he'd see the faces and hear the names of the past. the odds felt so low that if it is fate, it's a twisted fate, like karma catching up when he thought he'd changed.
he exhales a sigh, raking fingers through dark hair, equally dark eyes on sherry. he wonders if she knows that her presence has a way of calming him. he doesn't feel half as high-strung, like every thread is about to snap. even though he fears vulnerability, he also doesn't want to spring up and run. he stays there, on the sofa, wishing his thoughts would quiet.
❝ what d'you hate, sherry? ❞

❜𝐓𝐢𝐥 𝐈 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐮❜𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐞
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary ➳ Daryl never liked it when the neighborhood cop Shane came around. You, oblivious to Shane’s attempts to flirt with you and don’t see the fuming Daryl.
(A/n) ➳ Inspired by “You” by Ari Abdul. Those who are waiting for the first chapter of JUDAS, it’s almost done. I’m just finishing the final touches before it’s uploaded. This is also very rushed, I’m sorry.
Word Count ➳ 900
Content Warnings ➳ Female reader, MODERN AU/NO OUTBREAK, DUB-CON, SHANE, jealous Daryl, sexual content, p-in-v, protected sex, phone sex, hair pulling, pet names (baby, darlin’), overstimulation, little dacryphilia…
Tumblr media
“Goddammit Daryl!” You clutched the sheets under you as Daryl pulled your head back by your hair. “S-Slow down!” You cried out.
Daryl seemed to ignore your plea, his eyes remained on your ass and how it jiggled by each hard thrust. He continuously slammed into your g-spot, doing so without mercy.
You had no idea what’s gotten into him, he was perfectly fine this morning…
But Daryl knew what was wrong, he was angry, maybe at you but most of his anger was focused on that shitty cop.
Shane Walsh.
Daryl never believed Shane’s bullshit excuses whenever he came around your neighborhood. It was like he knew when Daryl was around, he knew of his record and his brother’s which is why he always stood back and remained silent.
Daryl was out on your driveway working on your beat-up car. He used his arm to wipe away the layer of sweat on his forehead. You had brought out a glass of ice-cold water for him, you went back inside to retrieve a rag as he asked.
“Dixon!”
Daryl froze at that voice, he cursed Shane under his breath. He turned his head slightly, enough to get a view of Shane who exited his car and walked up to him.
“(Y/n) home?” He asked, his hands on his belt as a shit-eating grin was plastered on his face.
“Busy.” He grunted in response, going back to your car.
“Mind if check?” He took a couple of steps towards your door before Daryl stood in his way.
“I’ll get ‘er.” He didn’t bother taking a second glance at him because he knew Shane had won… Yet fucking again.
You had come down the stairs, a couple of rags in hand. “I didn’t think one would be enough-“
“Cop ‘ere.” He told you, taking the rags. “Lookin’ for ya.”
“Shane? Again?” You lifted an eyebrow and peered through your window to see Shane standing there, giving you a wave. “What’s he here for?”
“The hell should I know.”
You made your way outside, seeing Shane leaning up against his patrol car. “Hey, Shane, what brings you here?”
“Just checkin’ in, makin’ sure you’re alright. Y’know, keepin’ the neighborhood safe.” Shane’s eyes lingered down your neck, he fixed his posture, getting himself a better look at your cleavage.
“Well, everythin’ is fine here. Nothin’ to report.” You let out an awkward chuckle, fixing your shirt.
Back in the house, Daryl stayed by the window, jaw clenched as his hands formed into fists.
Shane leaned in, way too close for comfort. “You free tonight?”
“I- What?” It took you a couple of seconds before his words sunk in. “No, no. I’ll be here… with my boyfriend.”
“Boyfriend?” Shane mocked. “Hard to believe a redneck like Daryl Dixon could be your boyfriend.”
“You don’t know shit, Shane. Find some other woman to ask out.” You sighed, growing frustrated.
Shane pulled out his pen and notepad, writing something. “It’s only a matter of time before he disappoints you. Call me when he’s gone or you want somethin’ better.” Ripping the paper, took your hand, and pushed into it.
Shane Walsh had crossed a line…
Daryl remembered snatching the number out of your hands and nearly ran out of the house just to punch him. You dragged him back to the room just to get him to call him.
“D-Daryl!” You mewled, shutting your eyes as you felt your hot tears slip.
“That’s it, baby, say my name.” He growled. He didn’t stop, even when you tightened around his cock, another orgasm coming down on you.
He released his hold on your hair, letting your head fall onto the pillow. He picked up his phone and began to dial the number. He left it by your head and on speaker.
“C’mon baby, let ‘im hear you.” He turned you over onto your back and shoved a pillow under your hips, letting him go deeper inside of you.
It felt like you were screaming, you couldn’t focus anymore. Not on Daryl, not on the sound of the headboard slamming into the wall… It’s a surprise that nobody had called to complain.
“Keep ya eyes on me darlin’.” He said, his hands coming to your wrists to keep them from covering your face when you tried to. “Look at me.” He demanded.
You opened your eyes to meet his blue ones, he licked his lips as his eyes were clouded.
Your nails dug into your hands. “Daryl! Daryl! Daryl!” You chanted his name over and over again, your legs coming around his hips to pull him closer.
That’s when you felt the pit again. “Daryl-!”
“C’mon, cum ‘round my cock. Let ‘im know who’s makin’ you feel like this, scream like this.” Daryl let out one final grunt as he came.
Your eyes shut instinctively as your back arched from the bed. Everything became white noise as you were sure you screamed louder than you could, waves and ripples.
Daryl slummed over your body, too tired to push him off or say anything.
He picked up the phone and smirked when he saw the call’s duration, he could hear panting on the other side. He hung up the phone and tossed it across the room, hearing it hit something.
“Stay with me darlin’.” Daryl sneered at your fucked out face. “I ain’t gonna be done with ya for a long time.”

Happy STS! If you had to make your WIP a musical, what would you title the songs? What kind of music would be there?
Happy STS, and thanks for the ask! This is pretty fun, and I went with Memento Vivere :3
Trapped - something dramatic and relatively long; it'd change slightly for each of my eleven character cast and the narrator. Christ.
For The Throat - something hard and fast paced for Cassie and Aidan's fight that would soften once Aidan started talking - giving his silver tongue an audible effect.
Ice Queen Isabella - no idea. I just think she deserves a moment.
Not sure what I'd title this one but I'd like a song where Hugh just tears John to pieces. Deduces his secrets.
Who are you? - this would be about Nate and would culminate in his accusation, I think.
I Knew Her - Dante gets her moment!
Caught You - Isabella & Miriam :3
Two-Faced - this is where Hector starts to talk :)))))
River God - (title from Walsh's book series, River's Waltz) where Walsh gets to absolutely fuck everything up, culminating in her death.
Hunger - this would be very short and it would be the moments before [REDACTED]'s death, and The Kiss.
Isabella, Isabella, Isabella - she gets a second god damn moment. This would be every bit as dramatic as you can imagine. It would be so much, except the very last second, which would be soft for Miriam's dialogue - "You had to say my full name."
Trapped (reprise) - ahahahahahahaha. RIP Aidan.
Thanks for the ask!

The Stepfather (2009)
Tumblr media
2009’s The Stepfather is the dead-beat, absentee dad’s equivalent of horror thrillers: it does the bare minimum. Even if that were enough, its utter lack of thrills and creativity means it scores low. If you’re young and you’ve seen no other films of this kind, it might entertain you. Anyone else will be calling out every single development a half hour before it occurs.
Michael Harding (Penn Badgley) is suspicious of his soon-to-be stepfather. His mom (Sela Ward) just met him six months ago and certain things just don’t seem to add up. The teen is right to be suspicious. David Harris (Dylan Walsh) is actually a serial killer named Grady Edwards.
You know every one of this movie’s tricks from the title. Michael is a formerly troubled teen who thinks his mother is moving too fast. To his mom, Grady seems like the nicest man on Earth - the total antithesis to her ex-husband, Jay (Jon Tenney). Michael's girlfriend, Kelly (Amber Heard) also thinks he's over-reacting. Cue the mysterious incident in the neighborhood. Maybe it’s a dead cat or a nosy neighbor that turns up dead. Either way, isn’t it convenient for Grady that the one thing he was complaining about not so long ago has suddenly been solved through violence? Cue the failed attempts to gather clues as Grady leaves the house but suddenly has to turn around because he forgot something. Do I need to say more?
Once you begin watching The Stepfather, you will develop precognitive abilities and foresee everything long before it happens. Even if you don't, this still isn’t an effective thriller. There’s no subtlety, sense of humor, ironic twist or any commentary in its 101 minutes. All you can think of is how much smarter you are than Susan Harding. I don’t know if it’s a US thing, but her house has a lock on the door in the basement. Is it to prevent someone from sneaking ice cream? One must assume it was there before the stepfather moved in because otherwise, what kind of irresponsible woman would let someone install latches willy-nilly in her home? Anyone with half a brain should be able to tell the man’s as dodgy as a locked cellphone sold without its charging cable. The Stepfather can’t even keep his own lies straight and his attempts to cover up his fake identity are as weak as a kitten. In his defense, this film is set in the late 2000s, when it should obviously take place in the 80s, like the original. You’ll be yelling at the screen in frustration as characters’ phones constantly fall on the ground, are left unattended or run out of battery to prevent the story from ending prematurely.
If there's one good thing to say about this picture by Nelson McCormick, it's that the performances are fine. Dylan Walsh is quite good at flipping the switch between charming and menacing. Penn Badgley and Amber Heard are believable as a couple of teenage sleuths and while Sela Ward is too beautiful to completely sell her role as a single woman desperate for love, she does a fine job with the material.
The Stepfather does not fall into the usual pitfalls of bad slasher films. Its killer may be unusually quiet when sneaking around but he’s not invincible or capable of teleporting. It’s well made enough to be described as “basic”, which I suppose is better than “terrible” but far less memorable and by no means an acceptable substitute for “good”. This remake is destined to be forgotten and no one will care. (On DVD, October 24, 2021)

By Mel Gussow
Nov. 2, 1979
IN his Pulitzer Prize‐winning drama, “The Shadow Box,” Michael Cristofer dealt compassionately with death and dying. In “Ice,” which will run through Sunday at the Manhattan Theater Club, he is concerned with bleak survival, death in life: two lonely men and a woman in an isolated cabin in the Alaska wilderness.
Clearly, Mr. Cristofer has intended to write an archetypical drama about vagrant people, who, through force of circumstance, have become more animal than human. However, the result is unfocused and unsavory — a selfparody whose best feature is its brevity.
The owner of the cabin, played by William Russ, begins as a clean‐cut outdoorsman. Inexplicably, he invites a scrofulous derelict to share his quarters, and talks to him as if he might be an old buddy from high school, instead of a filthy, crab‐infested stranger. By the end of the play, the derelict (J. T. Walsh) is sober, shaven and even articulate — with cleanliness comes good speech. On the other hand, Mr. Russ is chattering to himself like a deranged parrot. The switch in roles is as obvious as it is farfetched. As Susan Sharkey, playing a woman called Sunshine, says, “Surprises are hard to come by out here.”
Miss Sharkey is the primary asset of Robert Woodruff's production. She is, as usual, a striking and sensual presence, but her role and the play are marshaled against her. Sunshine is loosetalking and promiscuous, aggressively available to one man and another. The men in the play are usually passive when it comes to sex, although in other respects they can be whirligigs of energy, charging into the night to walk four cold miles to stand alone at the nearest bar.
As director, Mr. Woodruff is unable to give the play a basis in credibility. He and Sally Jacobs, as designer, err in not stressing Arctic authenticity. The play begins with Mr. Russ unboarding a window in his cabin, exposing the room to inclement weather, but the place never seems the least bit wintry.
In contrast, for Mr. Walsh's first entrance, the makeup department has outdone itself in seeking versimilitude, caking the actor with what appears to be grease and spittle. He looks as if someone stepped on his face with muddy boot. The probable explanation for the seemingly unnecessary intermission is that it gives Mr. Walsh time to wash up and change his clothes.
One other theatrical footnote: this is the second time in a week that an ax has been used as a comic stage prop. In “Emigres” at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, a character uses one to open a tiny tin can. In “Ice,” Mr. Russ takes an ax, raises it high over his head, and with unerring aim chops himself a nice neat slice of birthday cake.
“Ice” was first presented at the Mark Taper Forum in 1976, and since then, Mr. Cristofer has written a number of other plays. Perhaps this one should be regarded as the equivalent of a successful novelist's failed second novel — something to be forgotten.
A Sunday matinee at 3 P.M. has been added to the schedule of “The 1940's Radio Hour,” the musical at the St. James Theater, 246 West 99th Street. T‐shirts with the logo of the show will be given free to the audience at this Sunday's matinee, tickets for which range from $11 to $20.
Cabin Fever
ICE, by Michael Cristofer. Directed by Robert Woodruff; setting and costumes by Sally Jacobs; lighting by Marc B. Weiss; production stage manager, William Chance. Presented by the Manhattan Theater Club, Lynne Meadow, artistic director; Barry Grove, managing director. At Upstage/Cabaret, 321 East 73d Street.

Direct from the Director Late Summer 2024
We’ve had a very exciting summer at the museum! As a result of our recent AAM Museum Accreditation, this was the first summer that we had professional guards and were thus able to be open through July. Our first two summer exhibitions proved very popular with our visitors, especially Peter Anton: Just Desserts!
We welcomed 5,732 visitors to our Peter Anton and Suzanne Chamlin exhibitions in the 10 weeks between graduation and the close of the exhibitions.
We broke our one-day attendance record with over 850 visitors (serving free frozen treats at an ice cream social that day probably didn’t hurt)!
Recently we've been busy repainting the walls, planning new programs, preparing our two fall exhibitions, and installing a new group of outdoor sculpture. We can't wait to welcome you all back to campus.
The Museum is all about works on paper this fall! A pair of exhibitions will introduce you and our other visitors to a broad range of works on paper, from Old Master prints in the Bellarmine Hall Galleries to prints by contemporary BIPOC artists in the Walsh Gallery. We hope you will check out both exhibitions and all of the programs on offer.
Tumblr media
The first exhibition, opening in the Museum’s Bellarmine Hall Galleries on September 12 and on view through December 21st, is Ink and Time: European Prints from the Wetmore Collection. Curated by Michelle DiMarzo, PhD (Assistant Professor of Art History & Visual Culture), the exhibition presents a group of woodcuts, engravings, and etchings from the late 15th through late 18th centuries, including Albrecht Dürer, Raphael, Rembrandt, and Canaletto. From familiar favorites like Dürer’s Adam and Eve and Rembrandt’s Three Trees to hidden gems like the gold-sprinkled surface of Maria Katharina Prestel’s Virtue Overcoming Vice, the show explores more than three centuries of artistic innovation on paper.
Tumblr media
The works are part of a collection formed by Fanny S. Wetmore in the first decades of the 20th century and bequeathed to Connecticut College in 1930. This exhibition is the second in the Museum’s history to have been co-curated with Fairfield University students and has been supported by generous funding from the Samuel H. Kress Foundation.
Tumblr media
The second exhibition, on view in the Museum’s Walsh Gallery in the Quick Center for the Arts, is Sacred Space: A Brandywine Workshop and Archives Print Exhibition. This exhibition opens on September 20th and also runs through December 21st. Sacred Space, organized by guest curator Juanita Sunday, draws on the rich history of the Brandywine Workshop and Archives, founded in Philadelphia in 1972 by artist Allan Edmunds. As of 2022, the Museum is home to a Brandywine “satellite collection” – the only such collection in Connecticut. This exhibition features works from the Museum’s own collection as well as loans from Brandywine itself.
Sacred Space encourages a deep exploration of spiritual connection, inviting viewers to reflect on the ancestral wisdom and memory passed down through generations. The exhibition serves as a portal into the interconnected realms of spirituality, time, space, memory, and culture. The artists pay homage to their forebears, drawing upon cultural traditions, rituals, and sacred practices to honor and preserve, as well as question, the invaluable heritage that shapes our identities.
Tumblr media
In addition to the works from the Brandywine Collection, the exhibition will also feature local artists whose works are responding to the themes in Sacred Space. Artists invited by curator Juanita Sunday include Aisha Nailah, Iyaba Ibo Mandingo, Arvia Walker, and Rebecca Fowke. This exhibition is made possible by the generous support of corporate sponsor M & T Bank/Wilmington Trust.
Tumblr media
A broad slate of programming complements both of these exhibitions, from hands-on workshops to rich public lectures, and can be explored on the museum’s website calendar at www.fairfield.edu/museum.
When you come to visit, or if you can join us for the Ink & Time festivities on September 26th, please make sure to seek out and enjoy Lauren Booth's fantastic bronze Tulip Family which has been installed on the Bellarmine Hall lawn, just below the building, on the slope heading down towards the Dolan School of Business.

Artfully yours, Carey

Royal Ottawa- Carcosa  (self-released)
Tumblr media
So this terrifically talented Canadian band was sent my way via Wally Salem of The Beautiful Music record label. Wally has great taste so whenever he recommends something, even if it’s something he didn’t release, it’s usually right on the mark and this one certainly is.
I hadn’t heard of this bunch before, but then again I’m guessing most of you haven’t either as they haven’t released much over the years. The core of the band, who have been playing together since the 80’s, were in a band called Bugs Harvey Oswald, a more post-punk band who released one single (but apparently played some big gigs with the likes of The Fall and Mission of Birma, among others).
I think the most recent R.A. record was a 2015’s The World We Know but I haven’t heard that one, at least not yet.
Back to this sprawling double album, the four creators are vocalist/guitar Philip Hogarth, guitarist/vocalist Alan Pollock, bassist Michael Griffin, and drummer D’arcy Walsh, and these four cover all of the bases on this sprawling 19-song/ 80-minute monster. You hear some jangle, some flourishes of psychedelia, a little hard rock, some lovely folk, pop hooks, and the like all included in the record, but honestly, it’s hard to pin down as they do so many things and do them all well. I can say that some of the guitar interplay between Hogarth and Pollock is truly majestic.
A few of my favorites on here include the opener “Slipping Away,”  the sunrise lovely “Horizon,”  and the amazing, driving pop of “Three Seven Zero.” Also, the title track is moody and meandering in the best way possible. "Ontario Baby”  hums as well as anything The Church ever did and “AK-49” covers a lot of ground while trampling over everything in its path (as does the equally great “Soul On Ice”).
I have no idea where this band have been or where they’re going but Carcosa is the gleaming jewel hiding in the basement that needs to break out and be seen/heard. I can think of at least 100 friends who would love this instantly and if I have my way they will. Dig this and dig it now.

National Cocktail Day
National Cocktail Day on March 24 each year celebrates the tasty alcoholic drinks we have come to know and love.
Cocktails remind us of vacations on sandy beaches, relaxing pool-side lounges, or just Friday night out with the girls. Speaking of, did you know that even though cocktails are now often referred to as ‘girly drinks,’ it used to be frowned upon for women to drink them?
On National Cocktail Day, we celebrate the unique concoctions that remind us of good times.
History of National Cocktail Day
National Cocktail Day was created by holidaymaker Jace Shoemaker-Galloway as a fun day to celebrate a fun drink.
Cocktails were traditionally a mixture of spirits, sugar, water, and bitters, and some mixed drinks today still conform to this, such as the Old Fashioned Whiskey cocktail, the Sazerac cocktail, and the Manhattan cocktail. Many people believe that cocktails originated in the U.S. While this is partly true, cocktails were actually inspired by British punches from the 18th century. British punches were big bowls of spirits mixed with fruit juice, spice, and other flavors.
No one is exactly sure who first created cocktails, but the world is more than grateful to them. What is known is that by the 1860s, it started gaining popularity. Cocktails became especially popular after alcohol was prohibited in the United States from 1920 to 1933 ironically.
Speakeasies began to sell inferior liquor because it was easier to produce illicitly. Then they started adding honey, fruit juice, and other flavorings to mask the foul taste of this liquor, enabling customers to drink faster, which was very important in case of a raid.
The Industrial Age made a major contribution to the evolution of cocktails with the production of ice. Before the Industrial Age, there was no effective way to make ice blocks and keep them from melting. In the 90s, a group of bartenders at New York’s famous Rainbow Room brought back classic cocktail culture and followed strict quality standards. Today, there is a substantive cocktail culture in the art of mixology, which draws on traditional cocktails, but uses novel ingredients and complex flavors.
National Cocktail Day timeline
1803 ‘Cocktail’ Appears in Written History
The first written mention of a cocktail as a beverage appears in a magazine, “The Famer’s Cabinet.”
1806 The Cocktail is Defined
The cocktail was first defined as an alcoholic beverage in a newspaper, “The Balance, and Columbian Repository” in Hudson, New York.
1862 10 cocktail recipes
Jerry Thomas, the father of American mixology, shares 10 cocktail recipes in his bartenders’ guide, “How to Mix Drinks; or, The Bon Vivant’s Companion.”
1917 Cocktail parties bring in the fun
In Missouri, Clara Bell Walsh (or Mrs. Julius Walsh) invites 50 friends to her house on Sunday at high noon and coins it as a ‘cocktail party.’
National Cocktail Day FAQs
Is there a National Drink Day?
While there is not a single National Drink Day, there are many holidays celebrating drinks. Some examples are National Drink Beer Day, National Rum Day, National Wine Day, National Irish Coffee Day, National Vodka Day, and National Cocktail Day, among many others.
What is the most popular cocktail in the U.S.?
The most popular cocktail in the U.S. is the Margarita. It ranks top in Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and Tampa. However, in Chicago, the Old Fashioned tops the list. The Margarita is most popular in the afternoon and evening.
Does the U.S. have a national cocktail?
While the U.S. does not have a national cocktail as Canada does, it has a national spirit. Bourbon whiskey was proclaimed the U.S. National Spirit by an act of Congress in 1964.
National Cocktail Day Activities
Make a cocktail
Throw a cocktail party
Appreciate a bartender
On National Cocktail Day, you can create your cocktail from any of the hundreds of recipes available online. Even better, you can test your creativity by coming up with your very own cocktail recipe.
Gather some of your closest friends and throw the most fabulous cocktail party. Cocktail parties are notoriously great for feel-good times with friends.
We can’t all be master mixologists. On National Cocktail Day, take the time to appreciate your favorite bartender. You could write them a thoughtful note, get them a nice gift, or leave them an extra big tip.
5 Crazy Facts About Cocktails
Ernest Hemingway had a recipe
There’s one with a toe
Stirred, not shaken
Drink a cocktail, get some Chinese wisdom
A drug or a drink?
Hemingway invented his cocktail called ‘Absinthe and Champagne’ or ‘Death in The Afternoon.’
The Sourtoe Cocktail, which can be found in Yukon, Canada, reputably has a real human toe in it.
Martini cocktails are traditionally stirred, not shaken, despite how James Bond likes to take his.
Cocktail umbrellas traditionally contain hidden scrolls of Chinese newspapers, which you can read like fortune cookies.
Some cocktails can help heal or ease certain diseases, like the Atomic Cocktail, which can cure minor fevers, headaches, and depression.
Why We Love National Cocktail Day
We love the tasty buzz
It lets us get our party on
Variety is the spice of life
Alcohol is notoriously bitter, but cocktails break the mold. You can have all kinds of fruity wonderfulness when you get your buzz on with a cocktail. Cocktails make you feel good with drinks that taste good.
On National Cocktail Day, every hour is cocktail hour (don’t tell the boss). National Cocktail Day is all about having good times with wonderful people. When you have a cocktail in your hand, you can let your hair down and truly have fun.
One of the greatest things about cocktails is that there are so many choices. Although the International Bartender Association only recognizes 77 cocktails, there are at least 300 different cocktail recipes in the world. With cocktails, there are so many options to choose from and you can enjoy the true joy of variety in life.

tag game: q&a
favorite time of the year: Yizhan time is my favorite. But if we're talking seasons - it has to be summer in Seattle - 70's - no humidity 🌞
comfort food: congee with braised minced pork belly, lotus root cooked in clay pot, sometimes a plain hamburger will do. Sweets -> I can't turn down a panna cotta and pistachio ice cream.
do you collect something: tiny shoes, right feet only. When I was in college, I fell in love with shoes. Because they were expensive for my limited college budget, I started collecting the tiny, miniature shoes. My collection has grown to over 500+ shoes.
favorite drink: bubble tea with grass jelly
current favorite song: working through sound track to Hans Zimmer sound track to Pearl Harbor on my piano. I know, boring.
favorite song: Hotel California - I just love the guitar solo by Felder and Walsh.
tagging: @p-h03n1-x, @starsxinxthexbluexsky, @rainbowsky, @theji
and anyone else that wants to do this 😊💛
Thank you @danvers--carol for tagging me.
