This was supposed to just be a rough sketch, but then I started getting really invested in it.
I hadn't initially intended to include so many picture book characters, but the nostalgia was overwhelming. Does anyone remember the animated short films produced by Weston Woods? My local library used to have a bunch of them on the Scholastic VHS tapes from the late 90s. (I know some shorts were released on the Children's Circle VHS tapes back in the 80s (🎶 Come on along! Come on along! Join the caravan!), and some were packaged in Sammy's Story Shop in 2008.)
Characters:
Max, from Where the Wild Things Are, written and illustrated by Maurice Sendak
Peter, from The Snowy Day, written and illustrated by Ezra Jack Keats
Brother Bear and Sister Bear, from The Berenstain Bears series, written and illustrated by Stan and Jan Berenstain
Pooh and Piglet, from the Winnie-the-Pooh books, by A. A. Milne, illustrated by E. H. Shepard
Owen, from Owen, written and illustrated by Kevin Henkes.
Mouse, from If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, by Laura Joffe Numeroff, illustrated by Felicia Bond
Louis, from The Trumpet of the Swan, by E. B. White
Mr. Toad, from The Wind in the Willows, by Kenneth Grahame, based on the illustrations by E. H. Shepard
Mr. Tumnus, from The Chronicles of Narnia series, by C. S. Lewis
Pippi and Mr. Nilsson, from the Pippi Longstocking books, by Astrid Lindgren
Willy Wonka, from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, by Roald Dahl, based on the illustrations by Quentin Blake
Matilda, from Matilda, by Roald Dahl, based on the illustrations by Quentin Blake (with an homage to the Mara Wilson movie)
Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, from Peter Pan, by J. M. Barrie
Merlin and Archimedes, from The Sword in the Stone, by T. H. White, based on the illustrations by Dennis Nolan
Pinocchio, from Pinocchio, by Carlo Collodi, based on the illustrations by Enrico Mazzanti

yin & yang pt. 4
Pairing: Ben Tennyson x Fem!Reader
Warnings: None
Word Count: 3.7k words
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
Summary: You were an unlikely pair, everyone could see that. But what happens when you get a glimpse into a future where your differences were too much for you to bear?
A/N: Once again just a silly little self-indulgent fic. Hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Ben groaned in boredom, laying his face against the dirty tables outside Mr. Smoothie. Not even the smoothie, cheekily titled banana-fantana, was able to cheer him up like Gwen had been hoping.
"What's up with you?" Kevin asked, drinking his soda that he got from a nearby vending machine, after he had refused a smoothie four times.
"I miss (Y/N)." He mumbled, pouting.
They shared a glance over his head. Gwen ushered for Kevin to speak but he shook his head adamantly, mouthing that he wanted no part in this and crossing his arms.
Gwen glared at him.
"Speaking of (Y/N)—" Kevin began, all too quickly.
Ben finally raised his head from the table to look at Kevin and his friend bit his tongue, turning back to Gwen with wide eyes and beckoning her to speak.
"Uh, it's not that we don't like (Y/N)—we do! She's a great addition to the team and a good friend even—and um, Kevin?"
The man in question gave her a wicked glare before Ben turned to him and the murderous expression on his face was wiped away, "Gwen's just concerned that you might be—how did she put it—'acting like a lovesick fool'."
The look he got from Gwen was in stark contrast to the pig-headed grin he was bearing.
"What are you talking about?"
Gwen finally sighed, placing a hand on his shoulder, "We all know that you have this crush on (Y/N) but—and I mean this in the nicest way possiblebut don't you think it's time that you start, you know, trying to get over her?"
He raised a brow, "Why on earth would I do that?"
"It's nice that you like her so much, but you know what (Y/N)'s like; she's driven and focused and her career as a Proctor is the most important thing to her—not that that's a bad thing! It's just—well—someone like that doesn't really seem like the type to date or be into relationships, you know?"
"That's not all what she's about. I know it doesn't seem like it but she's actually really sensitive and sweet."
They shared another glance, unconvinced.
"Guys, I'm serious! We have something between us!" He defended, unconsciously clenching his fist, and crushing the half-full smoothie cup in his hand.
Gwen let out an irate sigh.
Growing up, she had only heard of how smart she was from everyone surrounding her—her parents, her grandfather, even Ben—and yet whenever she tried to explain something to people, they tended not to listen.
If only Ben would listen to her now, he'd be able to avoid so much pain in the future. Whenever she tried to gently nudge him, he'd never listen so this time she took a more direct approach and yet, he still wasn't listening.
"Ben, please. I can tell that you're actually falling for her but honestly, where do you even see this going? Do you actually believe that you're going to get married and have kids or something like that?"
"Gwen, I'm just sixteen, it's way too soon to be worrying about something like that!"
"So, you're just going to date her until it becomes a problem?"
Ben rolled his eyes, standing from the table, "How about you mind your own business and keep your nose out of my relationship. I don't have to sit here and convince you of anything."
Kevin watched him walk away before letting out a low whistle, ignoring his girlfriend's glare, "I told you that was a bad idea."
***
Ben kept a single hand on the wheel as he drove the two of you over the museum, where you were supposed to meet Gwen and Kevin for a mission. You had long stopped reprimanding him for not driving with both hands since he began throwing tantrums and claiming he couldn't focus if your fingers weren't intertwined with his free one.
The roads were empty at this time of night anyway.
"Hey, did Gwen talk to you about anything? Me, specifically?" Ben brought up and you immediately picked up on the slight squeeze of his hand in yours but didn't comment on it.
"Not lately, no. Is something wrong?"
Ben let out a relieved sigh, "Nope, nothing at all."
You raised a brow at this, staring at him with suspicious eyes. He eventually caught on to your prying gaze and immediately attempted to change the topic, pretending like you didn't notice his futile attempts to do so.
"That's a pretty necklace, where'd you get it?"
You rolled your eyes, watching as a cheeky grin grew on his face at your response. He was not hiding his giddiness very well, but how could he? You, his beautiful girlfriend, whom his cousin said was a monotonous emotionless dead-end (she didn't actually say this, but Ben was offended all the same), was wearing the necklace that he had gifted her.
It was fairly simple, a thin chain with a small pendant with a gemstone. He knew you wouldn't wear something that was flashy or too gaudy, so he settled for something he knew you'd like.
And the sight of you wearing the necklace even though you usually insisted that any accessories that weren't a part of the uniform could sometimes hinder the mission was completely worth the hours of time spent staring at different necklaces that all looked the same and troubling his mother for advice until she hurled a wet sponge at his head.
***
When he was responding to the distress signal on his Omnitrix at the museum, Ben wasn't expecting to get attacked by a bunch of ninja that seemed to appear out of nowhere before disappearing into thin air.
You stared at the green tablet in the crate as you wondered just where you had seen the artifact before.
"It's the Hands of Armageddon." You explained, going through your database quickly to pull up all the information the plumbers had on it, "It's an artifact that was secured by the plumbers more than 2 centuries ago. It's said to be a crosstime gateway created by the Chronians, but we have yet to prove that. It's virtually indestructible though. The Plumbers have had multiple attempts and they all resulted in mass disasters."
You turned to Gwen, "The vision you saw was probably an alternate dimension—"
"Right as always, young (Y/N)."
Before the flash of light behind you could even disappear, you were pointing a gun at it, only lowering it when you saw Paradox emerge through the blinding light, accompanied by someone you'd never met before and yet, still recognized.
"Who's your friend?"
Ben stared at him with apprehension before realization struck him, "Are you?"
The man responded with a startlingly deep voice, "That's right, Ben, I'm you—only even more awesome."
You were hardly surprised, the man before you was a splitting image of your boyfriend and you averted your gaze to hide the oncoming heat to your cheeks at the sight of his beard and his stronger build. He certainly grew up nicely.
Ben 10k and Professor Paradox didn't waste any time and began to explain just what problems the group of you had somehow managed to get stuck in once again. As the four of you heard their explanations, you heard a slight sound coming from the back of the museum.
"Shh."
Ben 10k raised a brow at you, opening his mouth to say something when you shushed him again, with a fierce glare this time. It was only a second more before you were swerving around to point your gun at another intruder, a woman this time, who was pointing her own gun at you.
Your mouth dropped open in shock, faced with an older version of yourself.
She looked like you, that much was obvious, but she was also different, much more womanly than you were, with more rounded curves and a more matured face.
Recognizing her younger self, the you from the future lowered her own gun and placed it back into her holster, taking a look around the room and registering just how many faces were there.
"What the hell is she doing here?!"
She raised a brow at him, lips pursed in annoyance, "Excuse me?"
Paradox sighed, "I apologize for this, Ben, but this involves her future as well."
He gritted his teeth in fury, rolling his eyes, "That's just great."
You spared a glance at your boyfriend, whose face had fallen so far it looked like he had just had his heart broken.
Gwen sighed, whispering something that had only been audible, to him and you watched as his face fell deeper, "I tried to warn you, Ben."
***
Professor Paradox was one of the most infuriating people in the entire universe. You had gathered as much since the first time you had the displeasure of meeting him, but he seemed intent on reminding you exactly why you disliked him.
He spoke in riddles, appeared and disappeared as he pleased, never made any sense but expected everyone to listen to him with no explanation whatsoever.
And so, it didn't help your opinion of him when the cargo hull of the jet began rumbling, signalling intruders, that he was all too quick to disappear without bothering to help fight them.
You cursed out his mother in your head as he vanished within a flash of light, pocket-watch in hand and a quippy remark on his lips.
The ninjas began appearing out of nowhere and despite there being the five of you, you were confined to a small space, and they multiplied like pests until the whole hull was full of them. It obviously didn't help that Ben 10k chose then to transform into humungousaur, taking up the remaining of what little space you had.
You didn't even have enough time to come up with a good strategy before you were being attacked with multiple opponents at the same time. It didn't take much to disarm one of them, now using their own swords to attack them.
There were too many and they just kept appearing. Your eyes bounced around the room, trying to figure out how to get the upper hand in such a cramped space.
Your older self, having the same idea, sprinted across the room, disarming as many soldiers around her as she could. Although, there was something odd about the way she moved.
She was at the same strength level as you were. After 20 years, shouldn't she be more adept than you were? Ben was capable of using his arsenal of powers without even transforming into any aliens, but she didn't display any remarkable feat of strength.
It was almost as though she wasn't able to. An injury perhaps? Maybe she was still recovering? You bit your lip, slashing the sword through another ninja. If you could find out what caused it, maybe you could prevent it from happening to you.
"Stay out of this, (Y/N)!" Ben 10k snarled, voice booming through the room and causing slight vibrations in the metal due to his size.
You paused for a second, sharing a glance with your boyfriend, who seemed equally surprised. Your future self, unbothered, continued to stampede through the other opponents until she reached the switch to the hangar and flipped it open.
Immediately the hangar opened, and you braced yourself, holding onto Ben's car that had been strapped down. Ben had the same idea, holding onto the handles and pressing his front against your back, making sure you were both anchored down.
The ninjas flew out of the jet, the vacuum of wind deeming too much for them and you watched them disappear, one by one, as they capsized through the air before the hangar door finally closed again.
"What the hell were you thinking?! That was so incredibly reckless—"
"Stop talking to her like that!" Your Ben interrupted his future self, wedging himself in between your future counterparts and glaring at him, "You're acting like an ass instead of apologizing! If I were you, I'd be on my knees begging for her to take me back!"
"Take me back? What are you—We're not broken up!"
Ben's eyes widened at this before he turned to your future self, "And you'd stay with someone who'd treat you like that?"
The woman in question sighed, placing a soothing hand on his shoulder, "Try not to be too upset, Ben. He's not usually like this. He's just mad—"
"I'm not mad at (Y/N)." Ben 10k argued, crossing his arms and everyone raised a brow, they clearly didn't believe him. Your future self merely gave him a blank stare before he caved.
"Alright fine, I'm mad at you." Hardly a surprise, "Need I remind you that we just left our son all alone at our home that was just attacked by a bunch of ninjas?"
Ben's jaw dropped open hearing that. Our son? He had a son? With the love of his life no less? This whole time he thought that there was nothing but disappointment and heartbreak for your future together but now he's finding out that he had a family with the girl he was in love with?
Funny that it was only this morning he was claiming that he was too young to be thinking of such things and yet, the thought had his heart swelling.
"I checked on him before we left, no one even made it to the hallway outside his room. Besides, when we go back, we'll be taken to the exact moment we left, not even a fraction of a second later. Kenny will be fine."
"It would be nice if you could show some concern at least." He huffed, "You're not even worried about the fact that we just left our newborn alone. All you're thinking about is this mission and you're putting yourself at risk."
Future you rolled her eyes, sighing as she took a seat on ship, "Here we go again."
"Oh, forgive me for worrying about my wife. Where do I get the audacity?" Her husband shot a glare at her.
Gwen's eyes flitted between the two of them, only able to see the similarities between their relationship in the future and also in the present. Her cousin apparently got married and started a family with the girl she didn't think was good enough for him.
Would Ben still not be able to see what a mistake he's making, even after a decade? Or was she the one who wasn't able to see clearly?
"(Y/N), you just gave birth five weeks ago and you haven't fully recovered. You're supposed to be taking it easy, not fighting some crazed time traveller. "
No wonder she was moving at a slower rate than usual, she was still in her post-partum recovery. For a woman who just spent the last 10 months of her life growing and then providing for a living, breathing human, she fought impressively well. You mentally patted yourself on the back.
"Firstly, I can take care of myself. Secondly, Paradox didn't ask before zapping us back here."
"Fair enough but I want you to be on the sidelines for the remainder of the mission unless absolutely necessary." He folded his arms, giving a firm stare that meant he was being resolute. Your future self held his stare for a second before coming to the realization that not much would deter him.
She sighed, "Fine."
A pleased smile made its way to his face as he leaned down to kiss her forehead, "Excellent."
"You're a lot of work, Tennyson."
"Right back at you, Tennyson."
You spared a glance at your boyfriend, choosing to keep the information that you found his impish grin at the thought of a future with you adorable a secret and instead asked, "Did you really think that we had broken up in the future?"
His brows went toward his hairline, "You didn't? They were practically at each other's throats the whole time."
"Firstly, they're each wearing wedding rings, and second," You walked over to your future self, reaching for her collar and pulling out a familiar chain from underneath her shirt, "I saw this the second she got here."
Ben blushed, "You still wear it? It looks a little different though."
"I replaced the gem." She explained, toying with the pendant.
"Why?"
"It's her son's birthstone." "It's my son's birthstone." Both (Y/N)'s said in unison and the others gave you a bewildered stare.
"How'd you know?"
You shrugged, "Because that's something I would do."
***
Once again, you were all left in the middle of the desert at night after Paradox abandoned you one again and you continued your line of curses about his entire family in your head as you trudged back to the jet to call a team of plumbers to get you home as well as begin repairs to the jet that was damaged in the fight.
Kevin followed you closely to try and see if there was any way he could repair it just enough to get you back to Bellwood. Ben was about to enter as well when he was stopped by his cousin, who seemed sheepish enough that he immediately knew what the conversation was going to be about.
"I owe you an apology, Ben. I'm sorry for not trusting your judgment and for thinking the worst of you and (Y/N). You both make a cute couple."
He nodded, "It's okay, I didn't exactly have faith in my own relationship when I immediately concluded that they had broken up."
"I'm sure the conversation we had this morning didn't help either, don't feel too bad about it."
He nodded once again and they dissolved back into silence before she gave him a teasing smile, "So, a son, huh?"
His cheeks went warm, and he gave her a look mixed with both embarrassment and a little bit of pride, scratching the back of his neck with a meek chuckle, "Yeah, I always pictured myself as a girl dad though."
Her grin went even wider, and she laughed, "I thought you said you were too young to think about things like this?!"
***
*Exactly Twenty Years Later*
Ben peeked his head into the nursery to greet his beautiful son that was most likely asleep after being fed and changed, only to find the room empty and crib missing.
His mind knew that if his son wasn't in his crib then he would obviously be in the arms of his mother and yet, as he sped to your shared bedroom, he felt a slight panic thrum through his veins.
Everyone had brought this to his attention time and time again; that he had become extremely high-strung when it came to his family. Especially since you had gotten pregnant. It was only when his son was on the way did he realize just how fragile everything was and how quickly it could be ripped away from him.
He passed his arm over the sensor at your door, it immediately recognizing the signal from his Omnitrix and unlocking the door before entering, finding you settled on your bed, Kenny clutched close to your heart.
You watched him cross the bedroom in long strides and settle on the mattress beside you, saying nothing about the clear distress that you had seen on his face when the door opened before it was flooded with relief. You understood; you had felt the same way, which is why you had rolled your son's crib into your bedroom so you could keep a close eye on him for the rest of the night.
You turned your gaze back to the baby in your arms, gently tracing his features with the tip of your pinkie finger, watching with a deep fondness and adoration as Kenny's little face would scrunch up every time you caressed his button nose.
"He's okay, right?" Your husband questioned, needing your reassurance for the last bit of worry for his son to evaporate.
"You think I'd be sitting here without a care in the world if he wasn't?" You murmured, not lifting your eyes from his precious face.
Ben chuckled at this, "Yeah, like that time he got the hiccups, and you couldn't sleep the entire night because you kept checking on him in four-minute intervals?"
"What if his little diaphragm got fatigued?" You mumbled; brows furrowed at the thought. Constant hiccups were painful to deal with as an adult, you could only imagine how painful it would be for a baby who didn’t know what the pain was or how to communicate his pain to his parents.
Ben didn’t respond, already having been through this conversation with you the very night it happened.
The two of you continued to watch your son in silence, finding every single little breath he took interesting as you continued to graze your finger over his skin, now tracing the outline of his little lips, the bottom lip tucked tightly into his mouth as he slept.
Ben shifted closer to you, taking the two of you in his arms and pressing a kiss to the side of your head as one of his arms came to support yours and bear the weight of your son as well.
"I'm sorry for saying that you didn't care about Kenny and only the mission. I know you worry about him more than you express, and I appreciate everything you do for the both of us."
"You were just lashing out of worry." You replied, leaning against him, "It was the first time we both left our home without him, even though we didn't technically leave him alone for a second. I felt uneasy about it as well."
"Regardless, I shouldn't have said that you didn't care, Kenny and I know you love us."
"I do."
You quietened down immediately when your son took a big breath, slightly stirring before he fell back asleep, the littlest smile on his little face.

GunnTech AU Character's Favorite Animal Headcanon to Little to None Explanation
or it's 2024, my current hyperfixation is @elmushterri 's GunnTech AU and I don't care anymore
Connor: Cats in general (for obvious reasons), but Stray and Feral cats have his whole heart. Almost every time he goes out for a run or whatever he'd bring a backpack with cat food, treats, maybe even cheap water bowls and leave them where he knows there's a ton of strays.
Greg: Geckos, it's Lizards in general but geckos are his obvious Top 1
Amaya: Everyone thinks is Owls (for obvious reasons), they were when she younger, but is currently Moths.
Nori: Crickets since they were young and Maine Coons, he thinks they match his own glamourous style sooo perfectly. They also do the 'leave food for strays' thing with the ninjalinos but incluing dogs, also he swears there's someone else feeding a specific Cat colony and reallyyy wants to meet them. (Of course it's Connor, I'm a sucker for this kind of thing)
Romeo: Ants. His mom definitely helped him do an ant colony in a bottle or a jar and he still has It, upgraded of course, but he keept the original jar.
Luna: Ferrets. Tiny, but mighty. When she was younger it was Moths and Owls.
Cartoka: Rabbits. Will correct anyone who calls them Roddents, they're Lagomorphoes.
Carly: Turtles. Everybody thinks she and Greg bonded at some point because they think their favorites are very similar, but they actually have regular arguments about the topic because Carly thinks 'Amphibians are superior' and has gotten on Greg's nerves once or twice.
Isabella "Octobella": Absolutely loved Octopous prior to GunnTech, because of its intellegence; then in GunnTech she got bullied for that, got the nickname then the transformation happened and started to dispite them (and herself). Later in life she started to redirect that anger towards GunnTech and work on her self-steem, but currently if you ask her she'll respond Shrimps. A Ninjalino asked her and agreed with the Shrimp answer saying they were cool, so she's a little more confident about that liking.
Dylan: He reallyyy wants to say Triceratops, but thinks is too childish so he says Rhinos
An Yu Guō: It's a tie between Iguanas and Dragonflies
Badriya "Bastet": She really thinks any type of feline would be unoriginal, so she goes with Bettles. Except if it's Connor asking, then it's Cheetahs
Rhiannon "Ripp": Wolfs. When she was younger she adored the whole 'Wolfs are solitary, cool and edgy' type of media; but now she's more leaned towards the 'being a pack' idea.
Hywel "Howler": Deers, oddly enough.
Kevin: Pigeons. He really resonates the whole 'all the Pigeons in the US are the decendants of old Messenger Pigeons and were abandon after they were no longer of use and became feral' thing, so he has a lot of respect for them and feeds them seeds, not bread.
Ivan: Polar Bears. He knows it's basic but doesn't care.
Newton: Fireflies.
Lily "Lilyfay": Buterflies and Sea Angels, just because Newton show her a picture and she thought it was super cool and pretty.
Daisy (Ninjalino): Hamsters
Eloide Mecano (Romeo's mom): Frogs and Toads. Not in a 'I want to dissect them' way, in a 'I have large specialized terrariums for each species that I have' and 'I love their skin's texture' kind of way.
Maria Martinez (Connor's mom): Fancy Cat Breeds like Ragdolls, Persians, Bengalis, etc. but NOT Maine coons because She thinks they're 'too much like dogs', she also goes to Cat Shows but doesn't participate. As well as thinking Strays are dirty and dangerous, so Connor has to hides the 'feeding strays and feral' thing (Shut up, I like RomComs)
Kimiko Kobayashi (Amaya's Aunt): Poodles. She grew up with standard poodles, currently has toy poodles and She reallyyy wants to have a Royal-Size at some point. Plus, She participates in Dog Shows; if it's one of 'the Big ones' there's usually a Cat Shows happening in the same place so I imagine Maria and her having coffee together and talking trash about EVERYONE
Grayson Gunn (Greg's Uncle): Gigant Scolopendra
Phinneas Gunn: He denied this multiple times trough his life for various reason, but Koalas

What if Kevin Khatchadourian's significant other telling him that they have to move out of the state? Will he take it lightly or no?
Kevin's Reaction To His S/O Moving Out Of The State | Headcanons
Hehe, that's me again. Lol.
There is nothing in Kevin's life that is light or soft. His relationship with his mom is toxic, your relationship is toxic too. He is toxic by himself.
When he first learned that you will move, he froze. Because you are going. It is almost like you are leaving him. And you can't leave him. He will not let you.
You are already a high school senior and you are almost an adult. So Kevin offered you to move into his house. He can watch out for you and make sure everything is okay while his mom is taking care of you.
Of course, he tried to manipulate you to stay. Especially when he learned the main reason you are leaving the state is your mother and father divorced and you will stay with your mother.
But you can stay with your father or boyfriend too. Don't worry, he will take care of you so goodly that after some time you will not need to think about anything in your life. Even what to eat for breakfast or where to go with your boyfriend.
But do not think he would show you his real feelings. Showing how nervous or angry about your moving would make him look weak. And he would never show himself weak to you. Never.
If he wasn't able to manipulate you and he couldn't make you stay with him, then you will always feel a couple of eyes on you. He will visit your house spontaneously. Don't misunderstand, he will not visit you, he will visit your house. Why? So he can steal your things, like your favorite lipstick. And put new things in your room. Did you ever have an earring like that? Oh, of course, you had! It was just lost so you forgot about it. And this teddy bear that he bought for you, I know you found it weird because Kevin would never buy you a teddy bear. But don't be so sure cute, and don't be afraid when you realize the little red lights in the teddy bear's eyes. It is a part of its voice mechanics. And no, it is not interesting how Kevin knows everything about your life, he just knows you so well.

WIP Wednesday (3/20) | Arsonist Neil / Firefighter Andrew AU (Part 113)
Andrew sighs. Damn it, Kevin. Come on. Get it together! Andrew scrolls up to 10’s last game update to check the timestamp.
Andrew Which game ended at 8:30ish AND went into overtime? Kevin Uh. Bears v Lions. Why are you asking me this? Andrew No reason. Kevin You're supposed to hate exy, remember?
Andrew huffs out a breath.
Andrew Leave me alone. Kevin YOU messaged me?
Kevin is still typing what’s likely to be a ramble when Andrew abandons their chat to go back to 10’s. Hmm, Andrew thinks for a moment. He knows, due to Kevin and entirely against his will, that the Bears have been having a great year. But the Lions’ new goalie is incredible. Hm. Andrew’s willing to bet a not-date with 10 on an incredible goalie, having been one himself.
Andrew Lions. 10 Correct.
Andrew all but jumps into the air, High School Musical-style, pumping his fist in the air. But then another message comes through and spoils his victory.

Some Ideas For A TADC
AU!
Now, I’ve had some ideas since I got into The Amazing Digital Circus, so I figured I should share them!
First off, I thought up of an OC! He’s a tall navy blue wolf plushie that has yellow slinkies (yes, the spring toys) for his neck, legs, and arms! His eyes are similar to Barnaby from Billie Bust Up, but instead of them being different shades of orange, they are different shades of purple. His name is Party Animal (his human name is Percy Atticus) and he’s a rather strange one at the circus. Party doesn’t seem to care about finding the exit…I wonder why…
Anyways! There another idea that I had as well. What happens to the memories and character traits that are removed from the humans when they go inside the digital world? Well, perhaps they are turned into whole other beings that get thrown to the depths of the digital world!
Here are the creatures known as The Identities!
Penny (Pomni): Penny is a black and white character who wears a white suit with a black suit vest. A soft bow tie takes the place of a normal tie and a spear’s blade takes the place of where the bell should be on her tail. She still has her signature jester hat, but it is black and white and bears no bells. Her eyes are as dark as tar and tiny white spirals replace her pupils. A bone is wielded in her hand at all times. Her and Bubble would get along well, since they have the same smile. She does seem to wear a mask that covers the rest of her face though…Personality wise, She’s sweet, but can be rather off putting, and is incredibly loyal. Just don’t let her horrific appearance fool you, she’s a sweet lad. She’s the official leader of this rag tag gang.
Annie (Ragatha): A weeping raggedy doll who has a serrated mouth and one loose button eye. Her functioning eye was ripped out, thus she is completely blind. Her dress is covered in rips and tears and her mitten hands are covered in black blood and have been turned into sharps claws. She cries most of the time, she carries the burdens of Ragatha’s past life. Luckily, Penny makes for great company (and a lovely girlfriend!)
File 1 (Jax): His real file name is 17384295, but his friends just shorten it down to 1. Since he is an NPC, File 1 is supposed to exist in the circus, but here he is! He’s mostly silent, but is very loyal to the Queen. File 1’s senses are incredibly heightened senses. This mixed in with his teleportation abilities makes him a lethal prankster! His body is a bulky, black mass with long arms and a head that resembles a rabbit. Red teeth and eyes glow on his face. If you miss them, you’ll never know he’s there…
File 2 (Gummigoo): File 258963 is his real name, but the gang shortens his name too. This creature is a melted mass that fused with machinery to keep his body as stable as it could be. File 2 is the most rational of the group and remembers every little detail. Even details that never existed…
Angel (Gangle): This mess of ribbons of broken masks is best described as unpredictable and shy. The only mask that isn’t broken is a pitch black one that has a strange eye to the left. She typically serves as the group’s security.
Zoey (Zooble): Oh where to begin on this mess. They’re quite literally in shambles! This creature is made from various parts of random beasts! A bear’s leg, a dragon’s tail, a donkey’s hoof, you name it all! They seem to be very depressed and tends to sleep than play.
Kevin (Kinger): A broken king chess piece with a makeshift mouth, spider legs, and veins connecting its hands and eyes to its body? What could possibly be creepy about this one? He’s incredibly stable and is typically the one you go to when you need a problem solved!
Tex (Party): Tex is a black furred, two-headed beast. One of his head bears no soul, so it limbs down and its eyes swing from side to side. His limbs are now made of jump rope and his claws are large enough to pierce the heart of any human. STAY AWAY FROM HIM! This creature is genuinely abusive and will try to steal your code to free itself from the depths. He was the one who blinded Annie and who overthrew Penny. Maybe…that’s all about to change…
That’s a wrap! I hope you enjoy this little idea! If you wanna leave any questions or requests for this AU, my ask box is always open!

The Alcott Ch. 1
Chapter 1: Look After You
jay halstead x f!reader, frank castle x f!reader
chicago pd x the punisher crossover
tw: violence and blood mentioned, a broken hand, jay being extremely pissed off (that needs its own warning)
series is ongoing
It was as if she was watching a train crash, it happened so fast and so horrifically and yet she couldn’t look away. A hooded man stood over a body, holding the tire iron he had just taken to it. He was breathing heavily, his shoulders moving with every inhale, his adrenaline racing through his veins so much so he hadn’t heard the young woman when she stumbled upon him in the alley. However he did hear the cock of a gun and a safety switch releasing, and slowly turned with his hands raised.
Tilting his head to the side at the sight, her trembling form holding the gun with both arms outstretched in front of her. It was obvious she had never used it, he could tell by her body language she seemed more scared than he was.
“S-stop! You’ll kill him!” She exclaims, shaking hands still pointing the outstretched gun in his direction. Before she can make a move to do anything he quickly stalks towards her and without hesitation he disarms her, wrapping his large arms around her waist as he braces her back to his chest. But before she could scream an expansive hand covered her mouth as the assailant dragged her deeper into the alley.
“Shh, shh, shh, shh,” he coos in her ear, his voice so soft it was as if he was trying to settle an infant from fussing.
“Ain’t gonna hurt ya, ‘m not gonna hurt ya darlin’” he assured her, and although his voice was gentle she could feel the still-warm blood on his hands from the man lying on the ground before them.
“I swear I won’t hurt ya, but if I let go will you scream?” He asked timidly in her ear, still holding a hand over her mouth. She shook her head “no” slowly and as she did he released her from his grasp. Without a second thought she spins around and lands a heavy fist onto the man’s left cheekbone. The CRACK of her hand against his face could have been heard from yards away, it throbbed but she didn’t care. It gave her enough time to run.
She ran, and ran, and ran. When she finally stopped her feet from moving, she realized she didn’t know what street she was on, or where in Chicago she was at all. She reaches for her phone and dials the number of the one person she knew would take her call at this hour. As the phone rang she gathered her bearings, catching her breath and peering down at herself to discover that she was covered in blood. Although it wasn’t hers, the man who grabbed her must have left the stains on her clothes from his other victim of the night.
“Hello?” Kim answers, the ghost of a laugh still hanging on her tone. But the second she starts speaking Kim knows something is terribly wrong.
“Kim… um, I need help.” Is all she can manage before her voice begins to betray her, wobbling on the tail end of the short sentence.
“Okay, what’s going on? Where are you?” Kim says, her tone changing to one of a more serious nature.
“I don’t even know, but… I got attacked. I managed to get away but I don’t know where I am,” she says, the adrenaline wearing off as tears sprang from her eyes.
“Oh my God, attacked? Are you okay? Send me your location I’m on my way,” Kim rails off, her concern for her friend growing by the second. She could hear the others in the background of the call, Kim must have still been at Mollys Bar. She could hear Kevin’s voice trying to get information out of Kim as to what was going on. “Call Jay,” was all she heard Kim respond with.
“You’re a couple miles out, I’ll be there in ten minutes,” Kim speaks very matter-of-fact after seeing her friends location pin appear on the map she had pulled up on her phone.
It was a cold night in Chicago, as most nights were. Standing there waiting for Kim she began to involuntarily shiver, her teeth beginning to chatter as each minute passed by. She hears the cars engine before she sees it, Kim pulling up on the curb a second later and jumping out of the car before it even stops moving.
“Oh Jesus! What the hell happened!” Kim shouted as she took in the sight of her friend covered in blood stains. Moving to check her for injuries, Kim’s eyebrows knit into one another as she realizes that she can’t find any external injuries other than a swollen hand.
“It’s not mine,” the young woman whispers. “He didn’t hurt me, he wouldn’t,” she continues. Kim is even more confused now, so many questions wanting to spill from the tip of her tongue. But looking into her friends eyes she could see that she wouldn’t receive any answer that would suffice right now.
“Okay, okay we’re gonna get you to Med, yeah?” Kim said as she circled an arm around her friends shoulder and guided her into the front seat of the car.
—————————————
“WHERE IS SHE?!” Jay’s voice bellowed throughout the emergency room, getting the attention of the older Halstead brother.
“Jay, she’s okay. She’s got a fractured hand but she’s alright. Take a breath, she’s okay,” Dr. Will Halstead said as he approached his aggravated younger brother. Jay was practically shaking with anger, having just ripped through the streets of Chicago at the news that his girlfriend had been attacked on her walk home. He should have been with her, he shouldn’t have left her alone tonight. His mind wound itself into knots at the thought that she had been hurt, or worse, and he wasn’t there to stop it.
“I have to see her,” Jay said earnestly, wanting nothing more than to confirm her condition for himself.
“She’s being questioned by detectives right now, she’ll be available to talk afterwards,” Jay hears a familiar voice respond from behind him, turning to see that Sergeant Voight was the one who had spoken. “Jay, I’m going to need you to hang back on this one,” Voight said as he placed a hand on the younger man’s shoulder.
“Absolutely not Sarge, I won’t let that ANIM- ,” Jay begins to yell but Voight silently raises a hand in response, signaling Jay to stop abruptly in the middle of his very loud sentence.
“Jay this isn’t up for discussion, you’re obviously upset and you have every right to be. But you’re not in the right headspace to be involved in this investigation,” Voight explains, only making Jay angrier.
“What kind of investigation?” Jay questions, not knowing much about what happened.
“A murder,” Voight responds shortly.
“What? Who? I don’t understand, they said she was fine I- ,” Jay starts in.
“She is fine, but she did witness a murder. However she can’t I.D. the suspect so if we need her moving forward for anything, I’ll let you know,” Voight cuts Jay off for the second time and Jay did not take kindly to being put on the bench.
“Fine, but I want five minutes,” Jay growls under his breath, knowing that Voight would understand that request: five minutes alone in a room with the assailant, no cameras and absolutely no laws.
“Deal,” Voight responded flatly, nodding once to solidify the agreement between them.
Jays rage boiled as his anxiety ate away at him. In truth he hated anxiety, it made him feel helpless and in turn that pissed him off. There was nothing Jay hated more than feeling helpless, especially when it comes to the woman he loves. Sitting there waiting to see her was excruciating, even though others had assured him she was okay, he still couldn’t stifle this feeling chewing away at the corner of his mind.
“She’s ready for you,” a nurse says as she stops in front of Jay, pulling him away from his thoughts. He stands abruptly and follows the nurse to her room. Upon seeing her sitting in the hospital bed, her knees at her chest and a bandage on her wrist, a pang shot through his chest; she just looked so small.
“Hey baby,” he said softly as he stepped in the room, her head snapped towards the doorway and she sprang from her position on the bed when she saw it was him. She collided with his frame, clutching onto him for dear life.
“Hey, hey, it’s okay. I got you,” he said as he wrapped his arms around her, one hand going to cradle the back of her head. He dips lower to nuzzle the junction between her jaw and neck, then moving up to kiss her temple. He holds her there just for a second to breathe her in and finally feel at peace for the first time within the last hour. Pulling away he cups both of her cheeks, looking into the eyes of the one thing he couldn’t live without. For a moment he thought he’d lost her, getting that call from Kim in the early hours of the morning and the first thing he heard being “You need to get to Med immediately, I’m here with your girlfriend and -,” but he never let Kim finish her sentence. His adrenaline made it hard to think clearly as the worst possible scenarios kept coming to him.
“Baby what happened?” Jay spoke softly as he led them to sit back down on the hospital bed.
“I don’t know, it all happened so fast. I left the bar and was walking back to the apartment when all of a sudden I heard this noise.” She paused as a grimace adorned her face. “He was killing him Jay, right in front of me! I didn’t know what to do so I took out the gun you gave me. I told him to stop and…” she trails off as the feeling of the warm blood on her face crawls back into the forefront of her memory. Jays face morphed into one of panic as his imagination filled in the blank space she had left in the ever thickening air.
“Baby, did he hurt you? Did he…?” Jay asks hesitantly, his hands shaking as he held each of her shoulders so she was square in front of him.
“No, no. He actually said he wouldn’t,” she responded, this notion still puzzled her. Jay looked almost exactly how she felt; utterly confused. He was relieved of course but he didn’t understand how she had been caught in the middle of such a dangerous situation and left without a scratch, other than her hand.
Her hand, Jay thought suddenly. Looking down from where he was holding her gaze and his eyes land on the bandaged appendage.
“What’s this then?” Jay questions, an eyebrow raising as he motioned to her broken hand.
“I punched him and ran as fast as I could,” she responded, a small smile appearing on her face. “Just like you taught me,” she finished.
“That’s my girl,” Jay smirked, “God, honey you had me so worried,” he sighed as he brought her into another embrace. “I’m gonna get us home and then it’ll be like this never happened. Everything will be okay baby, you’re safe now,” Jay assured her as he ran a hand soothingly down her back.
I’ll kill whoever put her through this, the thought raced through Jay’s head, along with many others. He couldn’t calm down and what worried him most was he didn’t know why. The initial reassurance of seeing her for himself had faded and the anxiety that he felt from before had returned. But why?
——————————————
Why did I lie? She thought to herself.
She had never felt more confused in her life. This entire situation didn’t seem possible, how was it that she of all people had stumbled upon two dead men, but with one’s heart still beating? It was true, she had witnessed a murder. But the man she saw committing it should have been dead as well. She knew this because she had reported on his death during her time as a reporter for a local New York City news station.
He was supposed to be dead, she thought. She had lied to the detectives who questioned her on the crime she witnessed, telling them she hadn’t seen the assailants face, but she had. She caught a glimpse of his face when he was walking towards her, that striking mugshot had been burned into her mind, she would have known it anywhere. It was his eyes, she couldn’t read them. As if she was staring into waters so deep she couldn’t tell where the surface began. He had known things, he had done things. But why didn’t he hurt her?
That’s why she lied. There were too many questions to try to answer at the present moment, all she wanted was to return home and crawl into bed with the man she loved. But she knew she wouldn’t be able to keep this itch at bay. She had to know for herself, she had to know; why in the hell Frank Castle was alive and well in Chicago?

Torments
Tumblr media
(gif by me, excuse the terrible quality lol)
A/N: I wrote this the night of 10x11 and it's been sitting, collecting unedited cob webs ever since. I finally spruced it up and made it presentable, so here ya go! Kev deserves someone to hold him and tell it's all gonna be okay 🥺
Pairing: Kevin Atwater x Wife!Reader
WC: ~1k
Warning(s): angsty af, discussions of dysfunctional familial relationships
The house was quiet when he walked in. There was light coming from upstairs but he leaned his back against the front door and stood in the darkness. The mute shadows that surrounded him mirrored the hollow feeling in his chest. There were unfinished emotions resting in his spirit and he sighed a heavy breath, wondering if he should unleash them from his depths or stuff them back down, much like he did with a lot of his torments.
It was already late when he left the precinct, so late that he knew that he missed dinner, but his mind was already set on stopping by his building to make sure there was an adequate unit for his father. He’d call and hire someone in the morning to clean it up and put some furniture in it, but he couldn’t bear to go to sleep tonight without verifying that his father would have somewhere safe to go, once he got out of the halfway house.
He’s not sure how long he stood there, with his head against the door, but it lifts upright when he hears footsteps descending the stairs.
“Kev?” Your voice eked out carefully.
“Yeah, it’s me, baby.”
He met you at the last step and you both wrapped your arms around each other tightly. You feel that his weight is heavier tonight and know that today wasn’t a good day. Instead of acknowledging it, you guide him into the kitchen, “I left your food in the microwave, let me heat it up.”
He follows you silently, his head still leaned on your shoulder as he walks behind you with his hands on your hips. You lean into his embrace as the timer counts down until the egg rolls and fried rice are ready. Still, no words are spoken. You say nothing as his arms wrap tighter around you.
This is how it went with the two of you. He was a proud man and it wasn’t always easy for him to spill his emotions out to you. You were dogged in your pursuit for the truth, in your mission to heal his afflictions the way he always did for you, without question. There was a silent compromise in the way that neither of you spoke. Time was a pact, the equalizer that told him that you wouldn’t push and that he wouldn’t suppress.
You two sat at the breakfast table in the kitchen, ankles linking against each other under the table.
Always touching, the two of you.
He offered his plate to share, but you only took one bite out of an egg roll before shifting the dish back in front of him. Your ring shines against the glint of the light above and your eyes can’t help but jump to his. Like you did all the thousands of other times you saw that golden piece of metal surrounding his finger, you smile and your heart flutters. He catches the simper and his shoulders shake in a hushed chuckle.
“I’m sorry, that ring will always be the sexiest thing you will ever wear,” you always say.
“Even sexier than the chain?”
“Damn. Can’t forget about the chain.”
You two don’t actually say the words aloud like you usually do, but the back and forth is wordlessly exchanged through your eyes. A language that only two people in the universe will ever be fluent in.
When he finishes his plate, you go to grab it, but he swipes it away before you can and rises to head to the dishwasher. He loads the plate and fork and then detours to the fridge to grab something out of it.
He hands you your half-eaten dark chocolate bar and sits. You offer it, he leans over to only one bite out of it before pushing it back into your hand. And so, now you’re the one who eats quietly because you know that your husband is ready to talk, but still needs a moment to gather his thoughts.
You finish your chocolate, enjoying the crunch of almond in the last morsel and Kevin reaches for your hand.
“I got him a place to stay in the building.”
You nodded, not saying anything, allowing him the space to release whatever he's holding.
“I don’t know… I’m just still so… angry. I’m happy he’s out. He’s safe. But he had all this time to reach out. To make amends. And the best he can come up with for an excuse is his pride?”
His voice still creaked with emotion, much like before, when he let his dad have it at the precinct. He thinks about Jordan and Vinessa and even at his most frustrated, he couldn’t bear to think of not showing up for them whenever they needed. It may not have been fair to him, raising two kids when he was barely an adult himself, but he still couldn’t even fathom letting them down in any way. So how could the man that sired three children allow anything to hold him back from rushing back to them, from picking up the pieces of a long broken family?
Your second hand reaches around to wrap around his and you lean closer to him, allowing your foreheads to rest on each other’s.
“I feel like I can’t even be too mad at him. Because I don’t know what he went through. What he had to get through to survive all those years on the inside… Maybe he wouldn’t have made it if he was too weighed down by thoughts of us.”
You speak for the first time.
“You just hate that it was you and the kids that were weighing him down.”
With glassiness in his eyes, he nods.
You rise from your seat and rest in his lap, nestling his head against your chest, caressing the back of his neck. He heaves a deep breath and bundles closer into you.
“It’s okay,” you whisper.
You hold him tight as his shoulders shake, allowing him to find solace in your embrace. A safe haven so he can mourn for the time lost. And forgive for what wasn’t his fault.
As always, like and reblog if you enjoyed. Thanks for the love

Just as I was feeling more optimistic that Racer article punched me in the face. Helmut basically gave Daniel an ultimatum into racing for this shitty AT this season instead of next which was his preference, and then the complimentary press release had “Wednesday” on it so it made it look like all of Horner’s quotes were just PR bullshit…Anyways, Helmut remains the worst.
Or are they
(re: Horner's quotes being PR bullshit)
We all knew if daniel performed well, he might get Checo's seat. It's Horner and Marko's discretion as to whether or not Daniel detours to AT first. According the Chris Medland article:
Before tire test:
Tumblr media
After tire test:
Tumblr media
To me this is a very strong upward trajectory. It's true Daniel will now need to once again prove himself in a tractor with weak brakes. But everybody is aware of AT04's limits. In fact it's currently THE slowest car on the grid as in...dead last. 10th in constructors. Daniel's main goal is basically to outperform Yuki and if he can't? I probably wouldn't want to see him back in that RB seat either bc it would've pretty much been a guaranteed heartbreak. I'd like to believe his mclaren years had prepared him to handle cars like this. and if today tells us anything: Daniel knows how to race and his form won't just go away bc of a couple of races (years) in a slow car.
Now. Regarding Daniel's pace. It's important to remember that he tested without tire blankets (to warm tires up for optimal performance w/o deg/wear). Here's a lil comparison between driver's fastest lap times in last weekend's Quali (with the help of tire blankets) vs their pace in tire test: (src1, src2)
Tire Test Quali Ratio RIC 1:27.415 ? ? HUL 1:30.276 1:28.896 98.471% MAG 1:31.247 1:32.378 101.239% ALB 1:32.453 1:27.530 94.675% (kevin's car stopped 3 minutes before end of Q1, hence the longer quali time)
Now, I'm no statistics major, and this is gonna be a math model with very limited samples, but on average HUL, MAG and ALB had been able to achieve 98.128% of their tire test time in quali, which translates Daniel's 1:27.415 test time to a 1:25.779 quali time, a lap time that would've put him on pole last Saturday, in line with news outlets have suggested. Bear in mind this was taking Kevin's stats into account whose car actually stopped on track mid Q1. If not, this calculation would've put Daniel's projected quali time in the 1'24 range. Even tho this is a calculation based on limited info, I'd say the results are very promising and Daniel's pace is obviously competitive, just as many sources suggested.
In conclusion!! Daniel will do great. I personally have no doubt 🤍

Analyzing the SM6 cast line up teaser
More fun for the non-patrons as a height chart of episode 6's characters dropped and I have *thoughts*
Before we delve into the analysis, be advised that this will reference my SM6 prediction post, which can be found here.
And out last bit of preface
Tumblr media
These three new characters teased in an earlier update are hereafter referred to as the businessman, the new mortician and the cat lady.
Bear that in mind.
Tumblr media
So here's the 2 lined height chart, so let's start putting names to these blobs!
Line 1: The Thieves, Lila, Skid and Pump, Susie (she's pretty hard to see, but you can mostly notice her shirt and hair), Mr. Wonder, Jaune, Jaune's Husband (who was shown in full in an earlier update).
The next figure at first appears to be another shadow, but upon closer inspection seems to be Father Gregor, after that we have;
The Cat Lady, Dexter (likely in another missing ad or for his body being unpossessed, if for a moment), Patty, John and Jack, then we have the first totally new character, a massive person (taller than Frank, making them the new tallest human in the series) who brings me to my first new theory:
This character, whose proportions are highly evocative of a cartoon vampire, will be either yet another new mortician, or in charge of the hospital's blood bank. Funnily enough, this actually matches weirdly well to a half-joking conversation me and @crossover-enthusiast had the other day.
Line 2: Skid and Pump again (for reference), Ross, Robert and Roy, Kevin, Radford (in his teased casual outfit), the actor in the Happy Fella suit, Mayor Evermore, The New Mortician and then... Roy's Uncle??!?!
This might be my biggest validation yet, as I've had a thought for some time of us first seeing the New Demon in hell, torturing the Uncle, if this ends up being true, I am officially the king of the SM fandom!... Where were we?
Oh yeah, we then have; Ignacio, The Businessman, Frank and yet another totally new character, a portly person I have no solid theories on.
Before I leave, I'd like to mention some characters who are missing here (other than Moloch and any other supernatural characters who might appear). Those being; Lucky, the Actor and Actress and Rick.
Rick is the only notable outlier, as he's a relatively major character, so where is he?
Well, I think Rick's absence is quite simple to explain. While not outright confirmed, Rick is heavily implied to be working at Gonuts in episode 6, meaning he's wearing a new uniform. I think Pelo just didn't want to spoil this, and so left Rick and his new outfit out of the line up.
And that's all I've got! One last note before we're done here, I'm pretty sure next week's update will be the episode 6 trailer, so there's that.

What's Kosma's relationship with Kevin? I couldn't find much other than he once looked up to him and after Ato's and Dystopia's death he left and rejoined cause of Griseo. Before that he was chatty and talked about him alot but what about after the rejoin? Also, is there a youtube channel having the videos on this arc? All i find is "mei asking/etc"..
Mm, I’ll just tell the whole story in order. This is taken from Kosma dialogues and recollections.
Kosma looked up to Kevin a lot. They first met during the fight against the 4th Herrscher (Wind), when Kosma was still young enough for Kevin to call him a child (teenager really, their age gap isn’t that big) and Kevin sent him away, telling him to stay alive.
He tried to be a vigilante, but it rarely ended well, as playing hero was a shallow solution to the problems around him (for example he thanklessly saved a woman by stabbing the man attacking her, but then the man’s young daughter tried to stab Kosma in revenge for killing her father).
Kevin and Kosma later met again in the MOTHs, which Kosma joined because of Kevin. Kosma also looked up to a senior soldier, Ato (Griseo’s father and another of the first MANTIS). Griseo notes to Mei that Kosma used be a real Kevin fanboy.
However, their relationship became Complicated around the time of the 9th Herrscher (Earth)’s defeat. Kosma had already lost his friend Dystopia to the 8th Herrscher, and his life wasn’t getting any easier.
We don’t directly see it happen, only the aftermath (Kosma’s recollection Daybreak Transformation) but what seems to have happened is that Kevin made the choice to let Ato die to ensure he could kill the 9th Herrscher, calling it the lesser of two evils.
The Herrscher was lying down on the ground, finally dead, but there wasn’t even a body left of Ato.
Kosma was enraged to the point of undergoing an Active Honkai Reaction (turning into a Honkai Beast) for the first time. He attacked Kevin in his anger, left his MOTH badge behind and then fled, only being found by Mobius months later. Aponia and Mobius teamed up to bring him back to human form.
Kevin welcomed Kosma back to the MOTHs, but Kosma didn’t join his unit again.
Kosma had become a silent boy by the time he left his Sim behind, taking care of the orphaned Griseo for Ato as her big brother. He still admired Kevin as a hero but couldn’t bear being close to him again— saying “I respect him, but our views differ.” He also came to have a very negative self-image, refusing to call himself a hero at all.
His mannerisms remained very similar to Kevin’s though, and in ER conversations he often thinks of what Kevin would do when he doesn’t know how to continue a conversation.
Don’t know of any youtube channel for this, but we have transcripts:

100 Albums To Understand Muse - Part 12 [STYLE Series #004 - Muse (August 2010)]
Tumblr media
THE SMITHS Hatful of Hollow (1984) Morrissey's lyrics and quirky verses are laced with literature and sharp humour, while Marr's guitar is subtle and bold. At their core, this was one of the most important UK indie/guitar-pop bands of the 1980s. This album is an edit of early singles AB sides + studio shows, and includes ‘Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want’, covered by Muse. -I
THE SOFT MACHINE Volume Two (1969) The second masterpiece by a representative of the Canterbury sound. Songwriter Kevin Ayers left the band and Hugh Hopper joined to create a more experimental jazz-rock sound. The thrilling ‘Hibou, Anemone and Bear’ and the vivid interplay between the various parts is truly exciting. Robert Wyatt's voice is also excellent. -S
SONIC YOUTH Dirty (1992) A lucid alternative rock album by Sonic Youth with Butch Vig of Nevermind (Nirvana), full of sharp sounds in sync with the atmosphere of 1992, with many direct melodies for their work, and recommended as an introduction to Sonics. Ian MacKaye of Fugazi also joined the band. -K
STEVE REICH Music For 18 Musicians (1978) Matthew's 33 dubbing sessions for Glorious were influenced by contemporary music giant Reich. This is a 1976 release, a well-organised ensemble of 18 musicians, including four pianos and four female chorus members, as well as violins, cellos and other stringed instruments. It is minimalist music, but its richness of flavour is boundless. -M
SUEDE Suede (1993) The band drove a wedge between 1992 and 1993 with a series of three sensational singles (included on their debut album) that were steeped in traditional British melancholy and decadence, driving a new wedge into the UK scene at a time when US alternative music was taking the lead. The entwining of the bewitching voice of Brett Anderson and the brilliant, poetic and at the same time passionate guitar of Bernard Butler is a masterpiece. -I
SUN RA Disco 3000 (1978) Although the title says ‘disco’, this is not disco music. It is an improvised, experimental session that defies categorisation and falls into the category of ‘jazz’ but is not orthodox jazz. If you want to listen to this magnificent masterpiece that expresses the universe through sound now, we recommend the two-disc set that includes unreleased audio. -M
SYSTEM OF A DOWN Toxicity (2001) Eccentric mixed metal from an Armenian-American band. Their second album, released in 2001, was their big breakthrough. Singer Serge also invited Muse to join his label and cited Absolution in the shortlist awards, where he was a selector. Matthew, on the other hand, has also acknowledged their influence. -H
30 SECONDS TO MARS A Beautiful Lie (2005) Led by the handsome actor Jared Leto, the band's romantic, emo guitar rock has a lot in common with Muse. On their second album, their biggest hit to date, the band tried their hand at an epic, story-telling concept that could be likened to progressive rock. A series of single hits were released, mainly on US rock radio stations. -H

Only Love Can Hurt (Like This) | {Part Two/Final}
Pairing(s): Kevin Owens x Fem!Zayn!Reader, Solo Sikoa x Fem!Zayn!Reader
Warning(s): Explicit Language, Angst
Word Count: 2,887
Chapter Summary: The Reader hashes things out with Solo — and the rest of The Bloodline.
Link(s): AO3, Masterlist
Note(s): Please remember that this is not cannon to the Haunted Universe! I want to explain this in a way that doesn’t spoil anything, so bear with me. This is the alternate universe where I picture The Bloodline (minus Sami) being a bit more possessive and sharing of The Reader amongst themselves, so if you notice someone acting a bit differently than you might believe for them to, this is why. Oh, and consider this my return to writing!
Tag(s): @crowleysqueenofhell @raeluvshammett
All of the muscles in your body tense, and you find yourself staring forward at the couch where the twins sleep peacefully — unable to face the potential consequence of your stupidity. Somewhere behind you, most likely sitting on the leather chair by the door, you can feel Solo’s eyes staring straight through you.
“I just went to the vending machine for a drink. I’m sorry if I worried you by not being in bed when you woke up,” you say quietly as you turn with the intention of finding Solo despite the lack of light, hoping that your bold behavior would convince him of your innocence.
Though the silhouette of Solo is certainly sitting in the dark leather chair in the corner, you cannot begin to assume his expression in the darkness — not from this far away. With his legs spread wide against the chair and his arms crossed against his chest, though, you’re certain that he’s nothing short of irritated with you.
“What— the vending machine sending out texts now?” The irritated quip comes a bit too loud for your liking as you throw a nervous glance at your brother. He does not move, to your relief.
The thought of Solo watching you the entire time that you contemplated going to meet Kevin is something that causes your stomach to churn. How were you going to talk your way out of this if he had been awake since the beginning, cleverly fooling you into believing that he was asleep? Is it possible that he had been the door that you heard closing as you darted into the stairwell? Did he follow you? How much did he know?
Solo grunts at the silence on your behalf. “Over an hour. That’s how long you been gone.”
“Look, can we do this in the morning? I need a shower.” The request is more a dismissal as you turn away from the corner and begin toward the bathroom.
On the other side of the room, the leather chair cracks and creaks with disapproval; the aching sound covers the bare padding of Solo’s feet across the room. His hand finds your forearm, stopping you in your tracks. Had it been any other time or situation, you would have caused a ruckus over his insistence, but you would rather not wake any of the other people in the room.
Turning you to face him and backing you against the door of the bathroom, Solo has you essentially pinned from moving. “We’re doing this tonight,” his warm breath fans your face with a whisper as he leans a forearm against the door above you, “now, do you wanna tell me where the hell you been?”
Being so close to Solo, despite the lack of light, you can see the stern frown laced over his lips — which, admittedly, is nothing new, but the anger in his eyes makes the frown so much more intimidating. Not being able to move away from him for the hand wrapped around your forearm and the other securely above your head does nothing to ease your nerves.
“What do you want me to say? We both know what I was doing,” the answer comes with an eye roll— after all, there’s no point in dragging things out.
The hand on your forearm raises to your hair, carelessly tossing it to the side in order to expose your neck; the frustrated exhale from Solo tells you that the hickey is worse than you initially thought it would be. “Yeah, we both know what you was doing,” his voice is absolutely pissed, “but that ain’t what I asked you. I said I wanna know where you been.”
You stand in silence for a moment, wondering just what it is that Solo is asking when it hits you like a freight train — he wants to know who you went out to fuck. After everything that Kevin had put The Bloodline through; after everything that he put your brother through; after everything he put your through, you went to him in the middle of the night and allowed him to seduce you. There is no outcome where telling Solo the truth would be any kind of favorable for you, so you can only shake your head at the question.
“You wouldn’t know him,” the lie falls from your lips without thought, “he’s nobody.”
Solo rolls his tongue over his teeth, giving a small shake of his head. “He must be somebody for you to let him mark you up like that,” his eyes flicker to the purple on your neck before scanning your exposed bits. “I bet that ain’t the only one, is it? Where else did you let him touch you?” His free hand trails down your side, squeezing your thigh tightly.
Your nose crinkles at the touch, with a stinging pain lacing through your inner thigh. “He is nobody. He will always be nobody, okay? Just someone that offered sex,” you insist with growing agitation, “and I don’t know why you care so much about where he touched me. That’s not your concern.”
“No?” Solo huffs an angry breath, his body leaning closer to your own. “We both know that there’s something here. I see the way that you watch me, and I know you see the way I watch you,” the words bring a tinge of red to your cheeks. It’s the first time Solo has acknowledged the spark between the two of you. “And yet here you are, running off in the middle of the night to fuck one of our co-workers. I think that makes it my concern.”
Despite the blush coating your cheeks, you roll your eyes once again. “Oh, I see what’s going on here,” you huff out an agitated laugh of your own, “big macho man needs to beat down the guy that I slept with to prove to himself he’s better. Am I right?”
The anger in Solo’s eyes grows brighter, and his nose twitches at your senseless comment. “What do you think would happen if it got out to the Tribal Chief that you went out fucking in the middle of the night without so much as a note, huh? You think he would be happy with you?”
Nausea pools in your stomach. “Are you threatening me, Solo?”
“I wanna know where you were,” Solo demands once again, though you’re not entirely sure that you want to tell him — even with the threat of Roman looming above your head. Roman knowing you went out for a quick fuck is one thing, but Roman knowing that you went out for a quick fuck with his most hated enemy for the last however long? God, that is a disaster waiting to happen.
 “No.”
Solo inhales, trying to calm the anger growing in him; the last thing that needs to happen is for him to lose his temper. “Why you protecting him so much, huh? I thought he was no-one.”
The suspicions catches you off-guard, and you find yourself looking away from Solo for a moment to gather your thoughts. How are you going to get out of this — especially if he’s starting to question the reasoning behind your hesitation to tell him the truth? If he thinks about it too hard for too long, he’s going to deduce it; it’s right there, dangling in front of him.
“The Bloodline has other things to be focused on. There’s no reason to start a war over a hook-up when we’re already in the process of fighting Kevin Owens — and soon, whoever wins the Royal Rumble,” you mutter, finally looking back up at Solo. The fire in his eyes has yet to leave him, burning with the same rage he often used in the ring.
There is a pause. “You care about him.”
 “I did — once.”
Solo clenches his jaw, nodding his head in angry thought. “Give me your phone.”
 “What?”
 “Give me your phone.”
Shaking your head firmly at Solo seems to do nothing as he uses the hand on your thigh to search the front pockets of your shorts, ignoring your silent protests for him to stop. He snatches the device out of your back pocket before walking away from you, coming to a stop in front of the door. It is in this moment that it occurs to you that maybe you should hide your messages from the lock-screen.
Standing there by the door, Solo reads what he can of your messages with the unknown number. The glow of the screen allows you to see the way his nose flares as he reads. You know that he plans on going to the room number provided — why else would he have stationed himself by the door?
“Don’t— don’t you fucking dare,” the warning slips from your lips louder than you mean for, and your brother stirs on the other side of the room.
Solo’s eyes leave the phone, landing on you with a menacing glare. “You got one more chance to tell me who this piece of shit is before I go find out myself.” His voice is nothing short of deadly serious — and your brother stirs again at the loud interruption to his sleep.
Panic settles in your veins, running a throbbing through your ears. “If you leave this room, I’ll wake everyone up,” you threaten, even though the result would be having to tell everyone where you had been. You could lie; you could put some poor fool into the cross-hairs of The Bloodline without second thought and hope that the poor fool would be too beaten down to deny your claims.
“You better hope it ain’t who I think it is.”
Solo storms out of the room, tossing your phone onto the dresser with a thud. Without waiting to see the potential reaction from the others, you run out after Solo — snatching your phone off of the dresser in the process. Roman is in the room at the end of the corridor, opposite from the elevator and the stairwell; Paul is in the smaller room next door down.
As much as you want to follow Solo, to somehow stop him from finding Kevin, you run to the other end of the corridor and begin banging on Roman’s door. He’s going to be irate with you, but there’s no other way to stop Solo; he has to listen to Roman, or he’ll face consequences that no-one would ever want to be subject to.
Behind the door, the locking mechanism clicks and clacks angrily. Roman pulls the door open, hair wildly puffed around the corners of his face; he almost looks cute, save for the immensely pissed off look in his eye. “I— I’m sorry to wake you, my Tribal Chief, but— but it’s Solo,” tears that you were unaware of stream down your cheeks, “he’s on a rampage. He’s going to hurt someone.”
Roman runs a hand through his hair, sucking on his teeth in annoyance. “Where?”
Shaking, you point in the direction of the elevator. “He— he’s going down to 203.”
Without another word, Roman begins down the corridor with a somewhat calm rage about him; his whole demeanor seems to scream anger despite his casual gait. You follow behind him, unsure if your presence is wanted. As the two of you pass your room with the boys, you notice that the twins are having a quiet, perhaps confused discussion, in the doorway.
“What the hell happened?” Roman’s voice cuts through the air as the two of you enter the stairwell, bouncing heavily off of the barren interior. “It’s the middle of the night.”
You swallow. “I went out to see someone— we, well, we slept together, and Solo— he was waiting for me when I got back. He’s pissed— I begged him to let it go! He wouldn’t, though, and he saw messages on my phone, and now he’s assuming that it’s someone — I don’t know who. I promise I didn’t mean to cause anything, my Tribal Chief! I’m sorry,” your meek little voice rambles as tears continue down your cheeks.
Roman turns to you and presses you against the door to the stairwell, hovering above you with a clenched jaw. “I understand that you’re not yet accustomed to the way that The Bloodline does things,” his voice is deep and commanding, “but I don’t want to ever hear about you going out with anyone again, do you understand me?”
“Yes, sir. It won’t ever happen again.”
“Good girl.” Roman puts his hands on your cheeks, wiping away your tears. He looks down at you for another moment, perhaps a moment too long as an embarrassed red tinges your cheeks, before backing away from you and exiting the stairwell.
You follow Roman through the door, heart thudding in your chest and mind muddied with confusion and panic. Down the corridor, Solo bangs against the door housing Kevin; it’s shocking that his jealous rage has yet to wake everyone in the immediate area.
In the stairwell, there are footsteps — the twins, possibly with Sami in tow, no doubt. You consider staying behind to catch them up on what’s happening, but seeing Roman storming toward an unknowing Solo is enough to get your feet running frantically to catch up with the Tribal Chief. You’re not sure you want to see the inevitable punishment happen before your own eyes.
 “Solo!”
Solo’s head snaps toward Roman, eyes wide — though, shocked is certainly not the emotion that you would describe him as having. His eyes travel to find you trailing Roman, and a scowl finds his lips. “She been out here fuckin’ our co-workers while we sleep. I’m doing my job as Enforcer.”
“What?” The voice of your brother is shrill, horrified.
“Oh shit, uce, I don’t know if you need to be here for this,” one of the twins comments.
The other twin laughs. “This about to be a fucking mess.”
Roman stops in front of Solo, placing a firm hand on his shoulder. “I’m telling you to let it go. She and I will talk.” His voice is firm, yet much more gentle than you would have expected given his attitude leading up to this.
Sami audibly gasps when Solo shakes his head firmly at his cousin. “Let it go? Have you seen her? She’s covered in marks! Look at her,” he sneers, eyes never leaving you.
All eyes turn to you in the bright lights of the corridor, and you feel much more aware of just how much of your skin is showing. From all of the running, your pajama shorts have risen up, revealing several purple bite marks on your thighs; yellow bruises can be faintly seen on your arms from Kevin’s hands; you’re not even sure if they can see the purple mark on your neck — though, you’re not sure it matters anymore, either.
“She’s fucked up, uce,” someone comments, and you feel yourself flush.
Sami, though, wastes no time coming up to you. “What the hell is wrong with you?”
“Stop,” you mutter, pushing your brother’s hand away when he tries to move your hair for a better look at the purple on your neck. “Sami, stop.”
Solo and Roman mutter to one another, as do the twins. Someone’s phone rings.
“What were you thinking? Were you even thinking?” Sami continues, looking down at you with immense disappointment in his eyes. “You’ve never done anything like this — ever.”
You look away from your brother, deciding to stare at the floor in fear of making eye contact with someone else in the corridor. Regret fills your belly for waking Roman. “I didn’t— we were just going to talk. It escalated. What are you, our fucking mother? Can you please just drop it?”
Suspicion creeps onto Sami’s face. “You were just going to talk? With who?”
“It doesn’t matter. It won’t happen again.”
Roman steps forward, putting himself between you and Sami. His brows are furrowed, and he’s looking down at you with much more anger than he did in the stairwell. “You put that hotel room in your name to disguise who it was. That matters.”
Your brows furrow. “What—? No, no— I’ve been with Sami all day. He knows I didn’t put that room in my name,” you look to your brother for him to defend you.
Sami glowers at you. “She’s not lying. I’ve been with her all day; I would have been there with her if she signed for another room — the twins, too.”
 “It’s true, uce.”
“Does someone want to explain to me how else that room could have come to be in her name?” Roman asks, his voice little more than a snarl. His teeth are clenched so hard that you worry he might break them.
Solo looks at you. “The only other way is for someone to know her I.D number.”
Instinctively, your eyes go to your brother. He is already looking at you, and with your essential confirmation of his fears, the expression on his face twists into an awful, angry shock.
 “No.”
 “Sami—”
 “Are you fucking kidding me?”
 “Sami, please—”
 “Tell me I’m wrong.”
 “Can you please just—?”
 “Tell me!”
The door behind all of you opens.
