Hey, sorry, I'm new to this, and was wondering what these build a headmate things are for? Like, is it for fun just trying to make an oc who's a headmate or is this for new split alters who want to latch onto an identity? I'd love to hear in detail

Don't be sorry!!! The only way to learn is to investigate!!! :D

Like you said, it can be used for recently split alters/fragments that need an identity to latch onto. It can also be used for willogenic systems and transplurals who are actively trying to form new headmates!

Our system personally uses it for fragments and for when we can feel that our brain trying to split and we want to helpfully nudge it a certain way/silly

it depends on the person(s) using the pack what they use it for! I don't judge/care either way, as long as people are enjoying them <3
