And yes, she tells him all about her adventures. At first she leaves out some details while embellishing others to make herself look better, but she gets more honest as they grow closer and she learns it's OK to admit that she's scared or that she doesn't always know what she's doing.

As for your second question, I feel like living in Tamriel is already so weird that not much is too hard to believe. XD And Garrus is naturally trusting. They might actually have the opposite problem, he believing her too easily.

Game explanation

I’ll be choosing the narration prompt: The world had never been so silent, it felt a crime to break it, to utter a sound.

[The blurb is a concept from my fantasy series, tho I’m not sure which book specifically yet. Set during one battle to reclaim a territory after a pinnacle character has been killed.]

—Eelin looked back towards the camp. The army was no longer firing on them, their direction had changed course. Cold, undiluted fear washed over her at the realization of what had been planned.

"No—“ She choked out, eyes wide, mouth falling open. Ryth seemed to notice only seconds behind her, watching in confusion as Eelin took off back towards the settlement. "Clear the camp!" She screamed in desperation waving her arms to catch any attention.

The general signaled and his soldiers fired on the camp. Eelin came to a sliding halt, heart seemingly freezing in her chest.

The healers tent. They had fired on the healers tent. Another panicked, desperate cry tore from her throat as she raced back towards the camp. Soldiers from all across the field came rushing in, everyone trying to pull survivors from the flames. She was animalistic now, half crazed as she shoved past bodies. No one stopped her from rushing into the burning debris. The damage had been done. A few mages stood around the fire, trying to control it. Khula came rushing in, calling to both Eelin and Ryth in panic. Buun soared overhead, circling them once in the sky before landing a short distance away.

Eelin dropped to her knees before the half charred body. The scream that left her lungs so torn, so agonizing half the soldiers looked away. Buun snapped his tail and roared, stretching out his wings and marching a circle around Eelin, backing everyone away. His entire demeanor had changed in an instant. No one could get close, not even Khula. It appeared as though everyone had suddenly become an enemy. Silence washed over the camp. The general’s army had retreated. There would be no further attack. They had done what they intended, and everyone was ready for them now. Eelin lay her head on the body before her, clinging to them possessively. Nobody made a sound. Nobody moved. The world had never been so silent, it felt a crime to break it, to utter a sound. It was as if nature itself had stopped to mourn.

Hi im sorry this took a week or two to answer sdjhfsd

Littlewood, an outer-plane fae, found his way to a world that welcomed him years ago. He made friends there, good friends, and he would keep them through a number of worlds. He lost two of them in an accident, but he refuses to believe they're dead.

On one jump, he loses another. He can't find him. But there's new people here. New friends, and he grows close to them, reluctantly. One gets taken, by forces he's seen before (indirectly. He'd met the Enderborn afterall, and he'd told stories he thought ridiculous at the time. He should have listened more.)

He leads his new friends to safety. He's escaped world eaters before- some eldritch fears are nothing to him. But he finds himself trapped, between worlds. He doesn't have a home to go to, anymore. When he wakes up, sees the friends from before- sees him, he knows its a game, plays along with his machinations.

He doesn't expect Ren. He was happy to just get through this all, and sure, he enjoyed the company of the South, but there's something about Ren that draws him in. He sees two men, in red and grey, and black, and almost runs to them.

He meets the Watcher in the void, and is almost grateful for the company.

Least favorite holiday: National/patriotic holidays given the political climate leading up to the Great War.

Least favorite food:  Veal.

Least favorite flavor: Overly sweet. Syrup.

Least favorite scent: ... Bad body odor and decomposition, mostly. Isn’t fond of rotting vegetation either.

Least favorite school subject or area of study: I know this is nerdy but Quinn honestly was one of those types that got really passionate and invested in all her classes. She loved math for its predictability/routine & structure, loves science since it involves a lot of memorization and critical thinking; enjoyed speech and debate, history, etc.... I’d say she’s got a good handle on language but probably hated English class the most. 

Least favorite aspect of their job: At times, the futility of it. She got stonewalled on a city level by lobbyists rigging things in their favor on a state & federal level. 

Least favorite fictional character: Grognak...

Least favorite person: Kellogg..... Given what he did to Nate & Shaun... Ayo is a close second. 

Least favorite trait in others: Callousness, toxic masculinity.

Least favorite place: The Glowing Sea.

Least favorite thing to talk about: Anything that’s personal.

Least favorite thing about themselves: Physically? Her jawline. Non-physical: always feeling like an outsider and pretending she’s something more. 

Least favorite sexual position: Missionary... Anything where she’s not in control. Also: sustained eye contact -- it feels too personal, and she isn’t about that kind of connection anymore. 

Least favorite daily chore: Folding laundry.

Least favorite style of clothing: Overly baggy clothes, but more as a result of her upbringing than actual preference.

Least favorite activity: Heavy cardio... Ironic, I know, considering how much of it she has to do lmao.

haem: connections. 

ryth: accountability. 

xan: vulnerability. 

cas: learning to rely on other people. 

long ass explanations below cut!

haem’s whole thing is about finding connections and clinging to them at any cost, even when it would be easier to let go. growing up with the jedi and then being passed between masters (he went through about a dozen masters before orgus) he was very much isolated. t7 was his first real connection and after that, he collected more - this sort of culminates in theron leaving and haem refusing to let go, even when lana’s ready to hate him for it. also self-discovery - he has to come to terms with the darker parts of himself, the violent ones, the angry ones, and recognize how to live with them and manage them in a healthy way rather than lashing out unpredictably. 

ryth’s arc, specifically, is about learning to hold people you love accountable for their actions, without it meaning loving them any less. this wasn’t intentional at first but i found some lovely parallels i’d be a fool not to use. ryth ends up realizing that sometimes loving someone means not forgiving them - he’s so infatuated with quinn at first he does things he wouldn’t normally do in the name of impressing him, and lets him completely off the hook for the quinncident without saying a word of it to anyone, and while he’s in zakuul he reaches a point where he’s capable of recognizing his feelings for arcann but refuses to do anything about it until arcann has made reparations for his actions. this is a big step for him. nothing really happens between them until after arcann joins the alliance, and if he hadn’t, nothing likely ever would have. this is a big difference - class story!ryth would have forgiven him for his crimes even as he was still actively committing them in the name of love. 

xan, once his family dies and he becomes sith, vows to never let himself be soft again. he lets his anger feed him and won’t trust anybody and shows no mercy, never mercy (this is broken several times - he has standards, after all, which he always ends up finding some reasoning for that maintains the i-don’t-have-feelings narrative.) it takes a long time for him to start letting himself be open an d vulnerable again, let alone in front of other people. 

cas grew up being the best, and knowing he was the best, and generally never believing anyone else could know more than him about anything. he doesn’t like depending on people, but during his time as barsen’thor it becomes clear he can’t keep operating alone. the turning point is when he lets zenith watch his door while he sleeps - for him, that’s monumental. he doesn’t trust the world, but he trusts his crew - he trusts zenith - and that’s enough.
