Uhhhm uhhhhm I needed to practice drawing dogs more so uuuuh here’s n25 as dogs since they have been unable to leave my brain

So first we have Ena as a American Water Spaniel. I made her a water spaniel due to similar coloring and they kinda have the same stubborn attitude and deep loyalty.

I made Mafuyu a Russian-European Laika since Laika’s are known for being very intelligent and focused whilst also being very loyal, so it’s kinda fitting. I struggled a lot with their coloring, I feel like the first color choice on the top is too light for a Russian-European Laika but fits Mafuyu’s design better idk.

Kanade is a Finnish Lapphund because both are known for being very calm. I already drew Kanade as a dog on @rockdrop ‘s blog but at the time I was unsure of what specific breed I was going to make her, I had only really decided on her being some sort of spitz dog.

Last is Mizuki, I made them an Australian Shepherd due to both being very playful and energetic.This drawing is probably the one I’m least proud of since I was really torn on what breed to make Mizuki and I’m not really experienced with drawing Australian Shepherds. I tried to do a pinkish tint for their coat but it doesn’t really show well in this lighting. I decided to make their ear clipped as a reference to their Hermit card but I still don’t really like how their design turned out.

what happens if a nickit and a rockruff have puppies when they grow up? sorry, I just don’t remember the name of nickit evolved form… but curious since my grandma’s evolved nickit is having babies with my grandpa’s midnight lycanroc soon (midnight is the boy and his name is Stacy.)

Pokemon Crossbreeds: Corsac

Corsac is the name for Nickit/Thievul whose fathers were Rockruff/Lycanroc. The breed was named after their fluffy fur. The breed was made a couple hundred years ago in Galar, when people started wanting to utilize the abilities of Nickit and Thievul. They work as a hunting breed and are primarily used by farmers and hunters.

Nickit

Corsac Nickit gain a curled tail (still with a broom-shaped tail because it's basically a death sentence if a nickit can't cover its tracks), extra neck fluff, and floppy ears. They're more loyal and friendly than standard Nickit and they act more dog like. In the wild, they tend to live on rocky mountains, so they are known to enjoy climbing.

Thievul (Midday)

My favorite of this breed! Corsac Thievul in midday gain the traits of Lycanroc. Their ears become pointed inwards, and they gain fluffier fur. They're very loyal and hardy and while they don't have claws, they are better pacers than standard Thievul. While in captivity they don't mind Boltund, Boltund might still have a problem with them.

Midnight

Corsac Nickit that evolve at night gain the appearance of Midnight Lycanroc. Their fur becomes a lot fluffier, especially on the head, and they gain a more reddish color. They're sneaky and while they have sharp fangs, they still prefer to steal food. Unlike Midday Corsac Thievul, who will sometimes hunt in groups of 3 or 4 when convenient, Midnight Corsac Thievul almost always hunt alone. Many hunters love them for their focus and drive to get a hunt done, no matter what.

Dusk

Corsac Thievul that evolve at dusk gain thr appearance of Dusk form Lycanroc. They have fluffy orange fur and unlike their midday and midnight counterparts who will sometimes have blue or red eyes, they always have green eyes. Out of all the Corsacs, this one is the sneakiest dueto Lycanrocs already quiet nature and Thievul being naturally mischievous.

So I need help with breed recommendations

I do not plan on getting anything soon but I am the type of person who throws myself into research years ahead of time.

With Kaiju’s recent health issues I’ve realized I need to really get to work on finding another working breed that will fit. The BRT is absolutely perfect for me:

- Good even temperament

- Loves to work and easily trained

- Aloof with strangers but not overly so. In public, Kaiju is generally open to attention from strangers without being very interested in them. At home, he is all business and that’s how I like it. I have PTSD from repeated home invasions/attempts and need a dog that makes me feel safe while also being under control.

- Does well with other animals

My one and only con is that the breed is very heat sensitive. I really like to go out and do things with my dogs but live in southern USA where the highs in the summer average 85-100° F. Kaiju is miserable in anything over 73° which makes up about 60% of the year here.

Breeds I have considered but don’t have much experience with:

-Cane Corso: I like the well raised ones that I have met

-Boerboel: On paper they seem to be very similar to BRTs but I have never interacted with them

-Central Asian Shepherd: Very interesting to me but I have had very little interaction with them

Breeds I don’t think would work:

-Doberman: The health issues in the breed terrify me

-Most shepherds are too high energy for me (The AHT already keeps me on my toes and he’s only 13 pounds)

-Most Spitz breeds

In conclusion, the most important traits I’m looking for are:

-Mostly heat tolerant

-Handler focused

-Good with other animals (mostly dogs)

-Good guard dog, doesn’t have to be huge

I don’t know if you’ll take the liberties and disregard the recent retcon that she, Ashfoot and onestar are siblings (terrible horrible not thought out bc now breezepelt and Heathertail are first cousins, for no reason at all) but if you do I agree. I don't disregard any familiar relationship from the books (except maybe if there are contradictory statements), just those said only on blogs, the warriors website and such. I haven't read Onestar's Confession yet, but if it explicitly says they are littermates, then i'll make my family tree accordingly.

Morningflower. All right. She is tortoiseshell-and-white in canon, and i admit, this is the first time i'm thinking about her color. Maybe i'll change my mind, and make her simply a black tabby bicolor, but now I'm leaning toward black tortoiseshell tabby bicolor, which would also make her mother Wrenflight a tortie tabby bicolor, and Palebird a black tortie harlequin. (Poor Wrenflight, I'm really abusing her "brown" description...) A nice byproduct of this is that it makes red tabby Finchkit possible. Well, red tabby and white.

Also shotout to the unnamed artist on fandomwiki who draw her as a really pretty tortie point:
