Gotta say as a queer person I'm so done with that part of fandom calling me homophobic because I don't like a ship. Or because I don't think T*mmy treats Buck right. Or god forbid I don't think making a daddy kink joke in the same breath that Buck is talking about his father dying makes since.

Also B*mmy shippers this you???

Being so afraid of Eddie being queer and people relating to a fictional character you actually felt the need to make an entire video celebrating how much you want him to be straight. You do realize him having relationships with women doesn't automatically make him straight right? Because fyi up until very very recently all Buck has ever had has been relationships with women.

Oh and I don't know how it is that we're somehow fetishizing a ship many of us have been invested in for years. That we ship because we love the bond between Buck and Eddie and their family with Chris. Is there smutty fanart/fics sure but most of our fandom is centered around the love these two men share and us wanting to see that turn into something even deeper than it is. I also think it's insanely hypocritical to accuse Buddie shippers of fetishizing when a lot of you B*mmy stans used to be Buddie shippers. Only as soon as you got to see two guys you think are hot kiss Buddie didn't seem to matter anymore. You chose to care about a ship with very little substance because it has the physical stuff you wanted to see vs Buddie which has all the emotional depth your ship doesn't. But sure we're the ones fetishizing a m|m relationship. Okay.

I'm also just really tired of you all acting superior and like you're somehow the boss of the 911 fandom because your ship is canon. Is it fun to have a ship you love become canon? Yes. Would I love for Buddie to become canon? Hell yes. But canon ships have never been more important than non canon ships especially when it come to fandom. People have always headcanoned ships that weren't canon some that would never ever be canon no matter what. Especially when it comes to lgbtq couples. Yet now that Buck is dating T*mmy (which btw they've never confirmed they're even in an official rs) somehow it's not okay to ship him with Eddie. Or to have theories about them getting together. Or to dislike Buck with someone other than Eddie. Nevermind the fact that most of you B*mmy shippers disliked every other woman Buck and Eddie were ever even with. Somehow that was okay because they were women but it's not okay now that Buck is with a guy and it's a ship you like.

I do think bucktommy could be a long term serious rs they haven’t had a lot of luck with bucks LI being liked and Tommy is getting a really good reaction I do think he’ll be extended to a longer arc with buck leading into S8 now that they have a LI that the GP likes I don’t see them letting him go that easily couple this with the fact that they haven’t written the last 3 episodes, are writing them in real time looking at audience reaction I think Lou cemented himself a more prominent role going forward

I definitely agree with this! I think in all my time in this fandom, I’ve never seen anywhere near as positive a reaction towards a love interest for Buck (or Eddie) as Tommy has gotten. I’m really hoping Tommy gets that larger role and I’m going to be very happy if he joins us in season 8 too, no matter in what capacity.

maybe you don't realize this but tommy is a guest star not a main character, he's not going to get backstories. He's there to play a role in Buck's story and then he's going to leave. They don't care to use him on the show even when he's there, he literally got 55 seconds of screentime in the finale and you honestly think they're gonna explore more things in depth with his character? Stick to Lou's fanfiction cameos sweetheart, they're fake as well.

good morning! i have no idea why you’re having a breakdown about a ship you don’t even like in MY inbox but since it’s seems important enough to you that you send me several condescending asks about it, i’m gonna take the bait:

1. i don’t know if this is the first tv show you’ve watched but guest stars become recurring or even main characters all the time? so the fact that tim used the very limited time he had in the finale to include tommy and flash out his character more and give us more of his backstory when he could’ve just let buck say something along the lines of „tommy’s waiting for me at home“ to show us that they’re still together (or frankly could’ve just ignore the rs like they’ve done in the past), is actually a good indicator that he’s gonna be sticking around

2. to your ask about oliver not giving a shit, hating the ship name and the show making it clear they aren’t endgame: literally where lol? i don’t think they were doing that like…at all but even if they were it doesn’t really matter to me? i’m still going to enjoy it regardless because i like them together. and oliver is doing his job and to me he seemed more than happy with the direction the show is going. i literally couldn’t care less about if he likes a ship name or not, especially when i don’t even use the one you’re referring to??

3. and now to the question between the lines - the one you actually care about - IF they do break up and it’s because of eddie i would react the same way i have in the past when a ship i liked broke up - be sad for a little bit and then move on and continue to enjoy the show. i started 911 because of buddie and shipped them for years and although atp in the story i see them more as platonic life partners/best friends i would be happy to see them go canon if they do it in a way that feels true to the characters (which for the record i still think tim and the other writers could do) but i just don’t see that happening in the near future. maybe i‘m wrong and s8 starts with a two minute buddie make out session who knows but at least until then i’m very happy that they introduced tommy and i‘m going to enjoy it for however long it lasts

4. Hopefully when Tommy leaves and Buck and Tommy break up, you go with him. i have to disappoint you, i’ve watched the show before they got together and i‘m gonna continue to watch it if they break up but if you don’t like to see me post about it you can just block me instead of camping in my inbox xx

Hallucinations are sensations that appear to be real but are created in the mind. Ex. seeing things that aren’t there, hearing voices or other sounds, experiencing body sensations like crawling feelings on the skin, or even smelling odours that are not there.

Visual: Buck hasn’t been sleeping well. It’s been happening on and off every other month or so since the tsunami. He can’t sleep and he’s just restless. When he has overnight shifts at the firehouse and has to sleep between calls, he ends up crawling into Eddie’s bed because it’s the most comforting thing he has at the firehouse. Eddie never says no to him, either, knowing he needs the comfort.

But, since he hasn’t been sleeping well, his brain and his eyes have been messing with him to the point where if he glances outside the firehouse, he can see a person standing outside the door. Eddie’s had to stop him from wandering out into the parking lot, trying to find the mysterious person, on more than one occasion.

“Buck, there’s no one out there,” Eddie would tell him. “Come on, let’s go back inside and maybe lay down for a couple of minutes.” He’d then have to half drag Buck inside, knowing Buck didn’t want to leave the person outside.

Buck would give Eddie a watery glance, his eyes filled with tears that threatened to spill at any moment. He needed to save that person, no matter what the consequences were.

Okay I think I've said this before? But like Buck staying with Maddie because those s t a i rs, and Maddie and Chimney are back on so it's a little awkward on everyone which is why Buck goes to live with Eddie who offers after hearing his plight. Besides he needs help with the rent so really Buck's doing him the favour. Que Eddie helping him after a shower/covering the cast, Eddie waking him from nightmares of being stuck under the truck, Buck + Chris making pillow forts in the living room

OH HELL YEAH. buck just feels like this huge burden on maddie and he feels like hes totally ruining her love life, but despite her insisting that its Fine, she doesnt mind taking care of him at all, he just. he cant, in clear conscience, keep staying with her like this, but he has no idea where else to go. and when eddie offers him his bed (bc he definitely forces buck to take his bed while he takes the couch bc buck deserves to be comfy dammit!!!!), bucks just. unsure of how to handle it. bc wow, this is the man hes super head over heels in love with, and hes really out here, offering to take care of him while he can barely get around or do anything for himself. but eddies just so patient and gentle with him and takes care of him so nicely and like. buck def ends up laying awake most nights thinking about how in love he is and how hes definitely gonna fuck up and tell eddie that he loves him or just up and kiss him one of these days

I’d like to point out Buck is wearing this shirt during what looks like a date with T*mmy

Then we see the same shirt on Buck with not T*mmy but Eddie at the hospital

And I don’t know whether this happens before or after the hospital but we see Buck back at Eddie’s (again no sign of T*mmy).

So either Buck ditches T*mmy to run over to Eddie’s (after the whole Chris finds out about Kim debacle) or they get a call about Bobby and go to the hospital and then Buck and Eddie end up talking once Bobby is stable. Either way I think it’s very telling that during these really important high stress moments there’s no focus on B/T’s relationship (whatever their rs even is at this point). It’s especially telling considering Bobby is basically Buck’s father and if he’s on deaths door you’d think the show would use this an opportunity to bring Buck and T*mmy closer together (you know show that Buck can lean on him) but it doesn’t look like they are at all. This entire season they’ve prioritized Buddie and it looks like the finale will too.

Heads up Buddie fandom some of the B*mmy stans are actively searching for our posts and tweets to leave harassing comments. When this happens the best thing you can do is block them. They’re looking for attention and they're trying to rile us up and mostly they're worried about their ship. If they weren’t they wouldn’t care this much that we don’t like their ship or what our opinions are. Think about how little we’re going to give a sh*t about them once Buddie is canon. They know their ship is on borrowed time, if Lou even comes back at all. The main reason they’re attacking us is because we represent the biggest threat to their ship and that’s Eddie and Buddie.

Don’t let whatever bs they try to throw at you upset you or make you doubt the fact that Buddie is happening. They can call us delusional as much as they want but they are seeing a version of a relationship that just doesn’t exist. They can try to say the same about us but we have 6 going on 7 years of development between Buck and Eddie. And while Buddie's relationship hasn't canonically moved into the realm of romantic yet they are definitely written has having a much deeper bond than just best friends. This is especially true when you compare them to Hen/Chim or Maddie/Josh or Athena/Hen, etc. None of those friendships behave the way Buddie ever has.

When I say B/T shippers are only seeing what they want to see it's because they have built that relationship up to be something way more serious than it is without any proof to back that up. Buck is literally only dating T*mmy they're not even in a committed relationship at this point and that was only reconfirmed more by that deleted scene. There is a part of them that has to look at everything that happened in s7, that deleted scene (which they originally thought was going to be Henren's seal of approval for the rs), Lou's radio silence and the SWAT rumours and they have to be worried. They might try to put on this front of certainty that their ship is endgame but it's clear from how defensive they get that they know it doesn't look good for their ship.

We honestly need to just ignore that part of fandom and keep spreading the love for Buddie. B*mmy fandom is simply a loud minority and there's no reason that fandom should be getting as much attention on social media as it sometimes does. We need to keep showing that there is still a huge active fan base for Buddie.

I know that since season 7 ended without any serious development for Buddie and Buck still with T*mmy a lot of you are worried Buddie might never happen and I get that. I was ready to give up on the show all together after season 6 but I'm telling you I've never been more certain than I am now that Buddie is happening. It's the most logical direction for these characters and it's where everything is telling us the story is going.

Remember that s7 was heavily focused on Bathena, Henren, and Buddie. For as much as B*mmy's act like their ship is so important (even constantly comparing it to the other main couples) that relationship has had very little development and screen time and even less pr. Which you'd think given how big Buck's coming out was they would have had tons but they didn't. They only even did one joint interview with Oliver and Lou and that was right at the end and they barely even talked about B/T. Meanwhile Ryan and Oliver did a bunch of interviews together and nearly every interview and article mentioned Buddie.

We need to stop looking at B/T as a threat to our ship because it's really not. I hate Buck in that relationship and I don't like T*mmy at all and the worst part has been the fans of that ship but T*mmy is only here to serve a purpose. He was there to be Buck's first male love interest and help Buck realize he could explore that part of himself. He's not here to be the great love of Buck's life. To be the person who gets Buck better than anyone else. That position has already been filled.

Buck’s had a rough shift. They’ve been on call after call after call, no time to relax in between. The calls themselves haven’t been bad, it’s mostly been people hurting themselves in stupid ways, much like Buck’s shift has gone.

He’s collected a few small scrapes on his bicep from pulling a kid out of a storm drain. On a call with a gas leak, a man’s cat bit down on his exposed arm hard enough to leave tiny puncture wounds, which had everyone asking if he was going to get rabies. On a call in an abandoned warehouse, he managed to cut open his leg on a metal beam, which prompted the question from everyone, “do you at least have your tetanus shot?”

Now, in the final minutes before they were free, Buck and Eddie were working together. They’d been mostly silent as they worked, not needing to verbally communicate, seeming to know what the other was going to do before they even did anything. Buck slipped out of the room they were working in and silently moved back in.

It was a small house fire; not a bad fire at all. They had made it through all the motions with ease. They put the fire out and made sure the house was stable enough to send people in. Then Buck and Eddie went in. They worked well together and moved quickly.

The downside of moving quickly was Buck’s ability to hurt himself and not realise it. There were pieces of broken metal and glass jutting out and Buck had managed to slice his side where his turnout coat was open.

“Buckley, Diaz, come in. This is Captain Nash, the structure is unstable, you two need to get out of there now!” Bobby’s frantic call came over the radio and startled both Buck and Eddie.

They started running out when the structure came crumbling down around them, trapping them inside. Buck doubled over in pain, bringing his hands up to his stomach. Now that they’d stopped moving, he was feeling the pain in his side and he didn’t like how much it hurt.

“Eddie, Eddie, I’m bleeding a lot,” Buck croaked out, holding out his hands for Eddie to see the blood dripping off. He whimpered as he tried to move again, only for the pain to flare up again.

Eddie turned his flashlight on, pointing it at Buck to look at and examine the wound. He tried to control his face when he saw just how bad it was bleeding. It wasn’t good, and it was even worse given that they had no way out.

For the third time that night Buck woke up in a cold sweat, tears streaming down his face. Loud sobs and heavy, stuttered breaths woke Eddie up as well, asking if everything was alright. Buck managed to mumble out a response and jolted out of bed, grabbing his crutches and rushing into the bathroom as quickly as he could before Eddie could ask anymore questions.

Buck went from leaning against the door, taking shaky breaths, to kneeling over the toilet, dry heaving for the second time that night. His nightmares were getting worse instead of better, he was making Eddie lose sleep because of it, and he felt awful about it. He raised a trembling arm to flush the toilet with what little content he managed to heave up. Quickly, he washed out his mouth and his hands before going back to join Eddie in bed.

Eddie was fast asleep, having stayed awake with Buck until he fell asleep after his previous nightmare. He was tired, so Buck decided that the only sensible thing to do would be sleeping on their couch in the living room, far away from his exhausted fiancé. He tossed and turned all night, desperately trying to fall asleep again and failing miserably.

Some time near six in the morning, when Eddie’s first alarm went off, Buck had managed to close his eyes and rest for a few minutes before he heard Eddie’s worried shouts.

“Buck?” Eddie’s voice was gruff and scratchy from sleep, Buck loved Eddie’s morning voice, but right now, Buck just wanted to crawl under the futon and sleep for a few weeks. “Buck, where the hell are you?” Eddie was frantically running around the apartment, opening every door, searching for Buck.

Buck let out a moan, covering himself up with the blanket he dragged out from the bedroom. It barely covered his whole body, so he curled himself up in a ball and covered himself so maybe Eddie would give up and stop looking for him. He did not give up. If anything, he just got even more scared, thinking Buck had disappeared in the middle of the night.

Eddie was near tears by the time he flung the blanket off Buck’s body, revealing the younger man with his eyes clamped shut, his body curled into a ball. Buck felt around for the blanket that Eddie had completely stolen from his body and it was nowhere to be found.
