Gencon Paint and Take
Tumblr media
While I had a bit of free time between events I went to the Paint and Take and got this awesome gladiator miniature from Eldritch Foundry. They're a company similar to Hero Forge where you can design rpg characters and they 3d print them for you. The quality on this miniature was great and the miniatures they had in the Vendor Hall also looked pretty good. I only had enough time to get the base colors down but I'm very happy with how this model is looking and I need to finish painting her later.
I'm also kicking myself because they had these really good paints from the paint and take and I can't remember the brand name! That's gonna drive me nuts trying to find them.

Kitbashed this Everest together for Lancer a while ago, and having recently played through Titanfall 2 again, decided on the basic BT look after I couldn't decide how to paint him
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tried to mimic the official Everest design I've seen floating around, but I'm partial to the blocky style head so I stole that from a Battletech Highlander
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Actually a lot is from Battletech, the legs are an Assassin and the Torso is a Black Knight. I love the Vladof guns from Borderlands so I found one of those for my assault rifle, and the arms are from the free mech set Filamentio released. I think that's most of it...

Oh shoutout to Death Ray Designs for their shark mouth nose art and industrial decals, they're great

I recently put together a 16 page fake video game strategy guide! You can get it for free on itch. It's a prototype for a much larger project.
All figurines and frames are were made by hand by me. Each one took at least a couple hours to put together. Check it out, and let me know what you think!

DinoFolk Character Tokens, Part 2 (pt 1 is here)
Another 10 Dinosaur-Folk tokens I made for the D&D game I’m playing in, to fill out the world that Albert Sauros, Noted Spiritualist, comes from. In this case a world of Victorian Dinosaurs. This set of character tokens was made with Midjourney v4.
In your game/head, they can be any fancy reptile-humanoids you like!  Use them for character portraits, game tokens, inspiration for a new PC (or OC) or tag yourself, as you like.
While these are all modified with cleanup and compositing, these are all free to use for anyone who wants to, thus I have not signed these pieces to make things easier.
Prompt format:
a <either dinosaur or specific species>-anthro <profession>, 18th century clothing (or other descriptor), character design, white background, fantasy character art, colored line art, in the style of 1st edition D&D, <artist/style references>
For style references I wound up mostly with a Tony Diterlizzi/Norman Rockwell mashup.

Here’s another Chaos Dwarf from Checkpoint Miniatures. I picture this guy as a ranger and guide, leading people across Moor and Fen and into the deepest woodlands.

It's mech time baybee
Have to re-make this account because Tumblr is dumb, but that's okay.
Anyways: printed off some mech minis, watching Gundam, and just reinstalled Titanfall 2. Let's fucking go.

Speed Painting: Reaper Miniatures
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
While I was at Gencon I entered a bunch of Speed Painting events, here were the two miniatures I painted from Reaper Miniatures. A Dwarf Baker and an Elf Archer. The archer was my first model I painted over the convention and I bit off more than I could chew with the highlighting on the cape and everything else I wanted to do.
The Dwarf baker I'm much more happy with, it was a blast to paint and I plan to go back and touch up on the details and add more blood CHERRY!
...it's definitely a cherry pie he's made. I actually have a bunch of fantasy chefs, I'll probably paint them all while I'm at it.

Finished up my Ronin NPC for Lancer. These things are fun; shoot at it? It bounces back at you jedi style. Melee? It's built for that. It doesn't even have bad base stats, and the optional systems aren't hugely complicated, which is important for people like myself who can't remember things

Heavy Gear: When All Hell Breaks Loose
The second Heavy Gear print ad, featuring the Jaguar in it's final form with V-engine and the "standard" Jaguar helmet (although this would soon be modified, partly to facilitate miniatures production). Note that this Jaguar is carrying a snub cannon, which would not be the Jaguar's standard armament when the Heavy Gear RPG/Wargame was released later (stats for the snub cannon armed "Predator Jaguar" were published in a later supplement).

DinoFolk Character Tokens, Part 4 (pt 1, pt 2, pt 3)
the last 10 Dinosaur-Folk tokens I made for the D&D game I’m playing in, to fill out the world that Albert Sauros, Noted Spiritualist, comes from. In this case a world of Victorian Dinosaurs, this set being mostly maid staff and professors from the University.
You can download all 40 here.
