hasan and a partner who hates travel - part 1, flights

i'm on my travel arc since day one of vacation has been miserable :)

hasan who sees you shaking your leg in the airport while you wait to start boarding, and he squeezes your knee gently to remind you that he's here.

hasan who gives you an earbud or headphones to get you watch some stupid videos with him or listen to your favorite soundtrack so you can focus on something other than chewing your nails.

he'll even walk you through parts of the flight if it helps, even if partway through he starts making shit up (and you know it but hearing him talk is the most of what calms you down really)

he squeezes your hand when taking off and landing on the flights, and doesn't mind when you dig your nails into his skin during turbulence. he'll jokingly complain about it later, but he knows it'll help you get through.

and if he snaps at you because you wigging out is wigging him out and he's trying his absolute best not to, but everyone gets over stimulated right? he lets a bit out and apologizes immediately after a breath, holding your face in his big hands and he's staring at your very sad puppy eyes.

he hates seeing you panic, but rest assured, he is there for you even if you are throwing up next to him on the flight.

Winter Warmers, Day 24

Word Count: 388 / Not an official prompt this time, I just wanted to write about streamer Max spending the holidays with Daniel

Max shifts on his seat, hitting the ‘start stream’ button. As soon as he’s online, his chat greets him, enthusiastic as ever, and he grins at the camera. 

“Hello everyone, I hope your days are going well. We’re gonna hop back into Supermarket Simulator today because you have been requesting it a lot.”

The chat cheers, and Max chuckles happily. He streams for a while, getting lost in the addictive nature of the game, so much that he doesn’t really notice how much time actually passed, until Daniel pokes his head through the door. 

“Hey Maxy! I don’t mean to interrupt, but it’s almost dinner time, and Mama made her special lasagna. You really don’t wanna miss that.” 

“I’ll be down in five, just let me wrap up the stream.” 

“Sure,” Daniel smiles before leaning further in the room, weaving at the camera. “Buh- bye, chat!”

He leaves the room, closing the door behind him, and Max shakes his head, absolutely endeared by his silly boyfriend. When he turns back to his computer, his twitch chat is going crazy, and he can’t help but giggle. 

‘was that daniel ricciardo or am i tweaking’

‘yall am i seeing things’

‘wait no daniel you can’t just come here and leave just like that'

‘what is going on help’

‘yells!!!'

“You guys are a bit too dramatic for your own good,” Max hums, a bit teasing. He knows his chat, and he knows what they’re after, so he can’t help but poke and tease them. “Anyway, you heard Daniel. Time to wrap up. I hope you all had a fun afternoon on the stream, and I hope you’ll have wonderful holidays! I’ll see you after the new year. Bye everyone!”

He ends the stream, turning off his computer, and leaves the room. By the time he gets downstairs, Daniel, his parents and his sister are already around the table. He sits next to his boyfriend, smiling when the brunette gives him a kiss on the cheek before serving him some lasagna. 

“Good stream?”

“Yeah,” Max hums. “It was fun. Especially when you made the chat freak out.” 

“What can I say, I aim to please, baby.” 

He grins, proud of himself. Max leans closer, resting his head against the older’s shoulder, and Daniel wraps an arm around him, pulling him closer.

Charles had put his sunglasses on when they left the room and seems content to not take them off, even in the dim elevator taking them back to the lobby.  Max feels jittery and a little anxious, doesn’t know how to be now that they’ve crossed the line that held their relationship in a neat and tidy box. He doesn't know what it means, how he should act. It’s a weird feeling, he’s not used to it. Charles beelines it out of the elevator, not waiting for Max or looking back. Well then.  Max takes a deep breath and decides to just go with the flow, orbiting around Charles the way he’s been doing for all these years now. He can do it a little longer—he needs to do it a little longer.

it's been a bad time lately. sorry for being absent. this is just a drabble of jerma noticing how down you've been and making sure you remember he loves you

jeremy sees it, when you two are cooking together and you feign pain in your hands ("old surgery pain and carpal tunnel, you know how it is") so he offers to chop whatever it is. he sees it when you hesitate to take scissors to cut the simplest of things, resorting often to ripping things up neatly or even leaving it for him to do it. he sees the pain in your eyes when you go to shower and you can see the long healed scars on your body.

"hey," he calls gently, causing you to turn towards him away from the shower curtain, door still open. your eyes are weary,  body barely moving with the crushing weight that is breathing. he knows the line is thin now, between being okay for another moment and breaking down,  so he tiptoes, closing the distance between you.  he takes your face in his hands and kisses your forehead gently, "why don't I join you?" you can't find it in you to give a verbal answer, settling on a tiny nod and tearing yourself from his grip before turning the water on.

he sees it at night while you're settling for bed, the way your body bristles at the off hand comment on the stream that's on. something about offing themselves if they fuck up on the level again. he finishes brushing his teeth and holds you a little closer, foregoing being an iPad Andy tonight. he wonders vaguely if you can tell that he's nervous and on edge, that he doesn't want to hold too tight but doesn't want to let go. but you are tired, so so tired.

"j," you murmur and he hums in response, softly rubbing his cheek into your hair, "i'm sorry."

"don't you dare," he replies quickly, a bit of his boston coming out, pulling you a little closer (though there isn't much room left between you). his fingers lace with yours and he squeezes. "you know there's nothin for you to apologize for darlin', i'm gonna be here for you up or down." you snort with a laugh, tears threatening to fall but you make your dumb joke anyway.

"i don't know j, it feels like a big -2 moment." you're both laughing now as he holds you tighter.

"oh yeah, BIG -2 behavior comin from you, gotta correct that." he yanks the blankets over the both of you and holds you against him tightly. "if i've got you right here, there's no way you can do anything cringe." or hurt yourself, jeremy thinks. he kisses your temple and forehead for what he can reach. a few tears still fall despite your giggles, but he wipes them away. "try to get some sleep huh?"

"okay."

"i love you."

"love you too."

It’s kind of a jumble of my many (many) headcanons and wasn’t written with a clear direction in mind, but I still deem it worthy enough to see the light of day.

Aimsey was hosting a party with all her streamer friends as well as several others. She was dressed up like a little magician, her tuxedo hugging her small body just right, while she had a cute little top hat as well.

She got up onto a raised platform where she could survey the attendees, before getting their attention.

“Ladies and gentlemen, people attending the party! You’ve been having a great time, yes? Now it’s time for my favorite magic trick. If my volunteer would just find her way up here.”

Aimsey turned, facing off to the side. Her girlfriend Guqqie stepped onto the stage from behind, walking to stand next to her, smiling out at the audience. Everyone’s attention was rapt.

“Now Guqqie, if you’d just watch this pocket watch for me.”

Aimsey was swinging it back and forth, she wasn’t as tall as Guqqie, but with her full arm’s length as well as holding the chain tightly, she was able to keep it at eye level. Aimsey’s particular way of swinging it was distinctive, while it slowly made its way back and forth, she was also making flicking motions with her hand so that it jerked up and down. Like her performance, it was quite the show. And her volunteer couldn’t help but stare. Already Guqqie’s arms had fallen slack to her sides, slowly going down, and her eyes were fluttering. She looked practically intoxicated.

“And now, you’ll sleep standing up. Sleep!” Aimsey says, shouting the last part, her other hand moving to exaggeratedly snap her fingers.

Guqqie’s head fell forward immediately. Guqqie’s pink hair completely hid her face. She was the perfect image of sleepy and slack from the hypnosis.

The attendees of the party cheered. Aimsey turned to face them again, bowing, the watch still dangling from her hand.
