He also has to uphold the integrity of the Savior System (ugh),Do good deeds and report them to his supervisor (double ugh), train his Lumen (dead eyed little thing doesn't like to listen to him so...ugh again!) and last but definitely not least he has to dedicate his life to figuring out how to use his endowment to cure a great societal problem... to perform... a MIRACLE TM. (yikes on bikes, no pressure). Will he be able to live up to the expectations of greatness that has been thrust upon him? or will he fail?

With him being unable to see his family, not knowing what he's doing, and finding out that his childhood friend has grown into a handsome...Preist in training?!? A fell asleep on public transport. B is sitting right next to them, and as they see the next stop coming up, they wake A up to ask if it’s their stop. (bonus points if B caught glimpses of them while they slept, adoring how peaceful they looked!)

A lost something in public and is freaking out. that is, until B found what A was looking for, and asks if it’s theirs.

it’s raining/snowing and B noticed A is without proper clothing/equipment, like an umbrella or a jacket. so what does B do? they ask if A wants their only jacket/asks A if they want to share an umbrella.

A and B get paired up for a boring project, but together they make it fun!

the classic “the parents dragged A and B to a boring party and they become friends.”

B gets something tasty looking from a restaurant/cafe/etc. and, despite A being shy or nervous, they ask what it is.

A wants the last of something (ex. a donut or bag) but they and B grab it simultaneously. now they stare at each other for a little too long before B frantically says, “you can have it!” and then they go back and forth insisting the other can have it. (bonus points if their hands touch!)

A and B are sitting next to each other on a long flight. despite them going to the same place, it’s for completely different reasons. A is going for a funeral, and B is going for a friend’s wedding. out of nowhere, A starts crying, and though it’s hardly audible, B notices and starts comforting A immediately. by the end of the flight, they both have each other’s numbers!

no one said these had to be realistic, right? perfect. A is out in public and sees a familiar figure. the thing is, A is mistaking B, a stranger A has never saw until now, for their best friend. A quickens their walking to catch up with their “best friend.” when they eventually do, they scare them from the back, but when B turns around, A’s smile falls. A expects B to get reasonably upset, but instead, B laughs. a strong friendship (maybe even a romantic relationship?) ensues.

again, might be unrealistic yet adorable! A finds a cat/dog on the street, but they don’t have a collar, so A starts treating them as their own. that is until B starts knocking on people’s doors, describing the pet and asking if anyone has seen them. when B gets to A’s door, A immediately knows they have that exact pet. depending on who you portray A to be, they may consider lying and saying they don’t have it, but in the end, they end up giving the pet back. the pet, however, is very attached to A, and tries to stay. B notices this and tells A that they can keep the pet, just as long as they stay in contact so B can visit it whenever! a strong relationship between A and B ensues :)

name: ana! pronouns: they / them preference of communication: almost entirely discord. tumblr notifs don't work on my phone. i also use twitter fairly often but that's more for shitposting than genuine communication with people most active muse: theo, most definitely. i have a couple other blogs here and there but they're inactive experience / how many years: please don't make me think about this lol. we'll say over 10 years best experience: making friends way back when that have stuck with me :) it's hard to find people worth keeping around and i'm happy i've managed to carve out a niche here and find others that enjoy my company and want to write with me rp pet peeves: pbbbt. writing fucked up topics without the proper care or research. also, holding weird, arbitrary standards about blog appearance. who cares if you do or don't use icons and graphics. honestly fluff, angst, or smut: ANY AND ALL. it's been a minute since i wrote angst tho despite theo being a fairly tragic character aha. i'm always happy to write fluff. smut is ultra fun. like i said, down for everything plots or memes: i like memes as an opener! and i, in fact, encourage any new mutuals to send something in so we can get started. from there i love to plot things out AND i also love pre-established anything long or short replies: see i would say sort replies but i am incapable of shutting up so they almost always end up long. i like flexing my fingers to write paragraphs time to write: mostly at wildly late hours. i work the graveyard shift, so. most of my writing gets done during downtime there. i just throw everything into my queue from there are you like your muses: as much as i would love to look as good as theo and be as wise and kind, i am sadly not haha. i will say we share similar interests - reading, going to museums, being in the outdoors, stopping off at a cafe to try the coffee

9. Worst part of canon

Johnny the Homicidal Maniac: This is tough, because I really like how everything was handled in the main story. I guess I personally found the doughboys slightly annoying, but at the same time, they served a crucial narrative purpose, so I really can't complain. Every (subjectively) """bad""" part of canon had a reason for being there, so I like every part for what it is. HOWEVER, if we're counting the spinoffs and the little "meanwhile" inserts, I really hated the like... vomit-porn aside thing in Squee. Though I guess hating it was the whole point, so like. mission accomplished? Also I don't really get Noodle Boy.

Adventure Time: Jake should have stayed blue. Explained here. I wrote the submission, hi.

Futurama: Multiple episodes. Neutopia weirdly ramped up everybody's misogyny beyond what's in-character in order to serve the "sexism is bad but gender is still part of the human experience and there will always be conflict" plot (which also is a weird gender-essentialism plotline anyway because like. The Fact That Gender Exists should not equal Conflict). Unnecessarily mean. Like I can see Bender doing that shit but there's no way that Farnsworth thinks that way. Unrelated to that one, Attack of the Killer App (origin of the "shut up and take my money" meme) leaned needlessly hard into gross-out humor. It just didn't fit the tone of the rest of the show.

Actually I'll be here all day if I list all my grievances so I'll cut this segment here.

There's a lot of duplicates for The Same Thing Written Different Ways but if I count those as the same thing, 4. Across all fandoms. Though this blog hasn't been around long so this will probably expand in the future.

13. Worst blorbofication

(interpreting this as "wildly out of character to serve the 'comfort' of the person writing about them") Oh baby. I come from roleplay communities. I've seen shit that would make you sick. I've seen somebody play Fern (Adventure Time) Prismo (Adventure Time) and Kevin (Ben 10) all with the exact same personality. I've seen somebody Else who takes LITERALLY over 200 characters (in "no doubles" type places so now nobody else can use those characters), and also makes them all exactly the same... except for the added detail that This person talks like if a wiki page could make fart jokes. (Side note: I think that person also pretended to be three different people. Like there were three separate accounts with different names who all talked to each other, but they all wrote exactly the same way. And with exactly the same fart jokes. And they usually showed up at exactly the same time.) THE ONE SAVING GRACE of all this is that JtHM is obscure enough that I never saw Other People RP it in multifandom spaces, so it was spared this treatment. I have seen glimpses of how the fandom acts on tumblr though so:

JtHM: Nny. I really think Nny gets the worst of it. In canon, he's a very unlikeable person. That's part of why he's so interesting! He tries really hard to be nice to certain people, like to Squee, but he fails every time. He traumatizes that kid. He abuses animals. He's fatphobic. He blames addicts for their addictions. He trivializes the fight against racism (in a brief aside line at the cafe). He's all kinds of messy, awful things, and it's fascinating. It makes you want to pry his brain open and study him. Yet so much of the fanstuff you see of him files down his bad edges and just makes him "funny murder guy" at the cost of the nuances of his personality (this happened to Patrick Bateman too, as an aside). People are scared to confront that he's kind of a piece of shit, just because he's the Cool Protagonist.

So I decided to a redraw of this 'meme prompt' I did on dA, back in like...2013? It was a group I founded, but it was a spinoff group of a BL cat boy cafe rp group, where the cat boys attend school to then get their cafe jobs. Kind of like culinary school.

This is not a RP blog! Some of the captions might be small bits of IC text (usually italicized), but the point of this blog is to have a place to compile all of the stuff regarding my characters. Mainly Kjellska, I love her so much.

Kjellska is very pretty, a competent mage and charismatic bone whittler, but also a dramatic clueless failgirl sometimes. She loves fashion, collecting toys and blowing things up. She's a staunch supporter of Allied Societies' rights and the Machinists' Guild. She has trauma and is a bit fucked up. She is the Nefarious Anglerfish. She's everything to me.

Who the heck is my muse anyway:

I have too many on this blog to go through them all.. I'd suggest just reading my MUSE abouts.. some of them are a WIP. I work more details into them as I RP them. But thing to note-- All my muses reside in the BSD universe. While they can go to others from Nikolai's ability to allow cross overs and no limits. For sanity sake, I will be using Nikolai, Fyodor, and Dazai as the main three to answer these questions.

Points of interest:

Nikolai: Likes fellow clowns and silly fun people. If you're not a fun person then he'll turn you into something fun. Whether it be annoying the other person or splattering their guts and gore on the wall.

Fyodor: Likes peace and quiet. Also enjoys those who are intelligent and speaking to others in general. He's a bit of a people person, he enjoys and values humanity.

Dazai: Usually likes to do anything to get out of work. Will find something as an excuse to get out of it. Usually out getting crab or going out for a drink. Likes to read books and listen to music and relax.

What they’ve been up to recently:

Nikolai: Currently trying to cope with Fyodor's 'death.' He's still in mourning, but whenever he comes to face with another person, he will automatically put on his happy mask and act as if nothing is wrong. He will act as his good old self, even though it is a mask and he's hiding his true emotions.

Fyodor: Currently in Bram's body, facing off to rid of the world of the Agency and Port Mafia. Behind the scenes, gathering more rats and aiming to take out Dazai firstly. Also has Nikolai on his mind to rid of.

Dazai: Currently trying to rid the world of Fyodor. Trying to figure out how to do that, if he should take a chance and see if he is the only one to be able to kill him. Trying to keep everyone safe. For once in his life, he is taking work seriously.

Where to find them:

Nikolai: Parties, parks, really any public place. He performs magic tricks for his job now that he no longer is part of the DoA. But you can also find him in cafes and amusement parks. Anywhere that is considered 'fun.'

Fyodor: Cafes, libraries, museums, old historical places that are open to the public. You can also often find him on trains and buses, since that is the main way of his transport.

Dazai: Coffee shops, any place that has food, the Agency. On crime scenes. Anywhere really. And anywhere that one can easily commit suicide-- so down a river... a forest, etc.

Current plans:

I don't have any current plans really. I kinda now base my blog with what is happening canon in the manga.

Desired interactions:

Nikolai: Finding new friends and people who understand him. People who will tolerate him and have fun with him. Someone to help cheer him up and get over Fyodor's death. Someone to accept who he is.

Fyodor: New rats. : )

Dazai: Someone to show him a reason to live.. Actually show him value in his life. Treat him seriously and not treat his suicide antics as a joke or nuisance.

Besides RP and writing? That's easy.

Reading. I read so, so much. Usually it's novels, though I read some non-fiction (mostly biographies), a few manga/webtoons, and various newspapers/news articles (NPR, The New York Times, and the BBC are my usual choices. Tatler as well, for RP inspo). Besides my laptop and phone, my Kindle is my most precious electronic device. I'm happiest when I have all three near me.

Otherwise, I'm keeping up with various TV shows (less anime honestly, or at least current anime: I watch more live-action shows), indulging in cosplay and going to various fandom conventions and related events (Renaissance festivals, cosplay/fantasy formal balls, photoshoots, etc.), curating my closet (I keep an active closet on Poshmark), and planning my two larger projects as of late: designing my closet room (the closets my house came with do not cut it) and planning my honeymoon this spring.

I hardly ever say no to a trip to a cafe, either: in my city, the French and Korean cafes are on point and worth a visit. Bonus if a trip to the bookstore is also involved
