Dear Journal,

I can’t stop thinking about my kiss with Wyll. I was merely teasing him, trying to boost his spirits for the party. But then I felt his lips on mine and suddenly he fills my every thought.

Every moment that passes I wish to spend at his side. I’ve never felt attraction like this before. I want to see him safe, and happy. Free of Mizora and tadpoles and all the unspoken horrors he’s encountered. A place just for us.

But I can’t be focused on romance now. We have to keep moving forward. We need to go back to the goblin camp and clear them out. Then we’ll head to the mountain pass in search for the Lae’zel’s people. After that, we’ll have to decide on our path to Moonrise towers.

The first leg of our journey has been successful, but I know that this is still just the beginning.

Dear Journal,

I’ve been traveling with this group for a few weeks now. What do we even call ourselves? I haven’t a clue.

I’m nervous. They all look to me as a leader, but I lack the confidence they all put in me. They tell me all these secrets of themselves and I have to try and protect every one.

Gale eats magic. Astarion is a vampire with hunters after him. Wyll works for a devil. Karlach could burst into flames at any moment. Shadowheart keeps so many secrets. It seems like Lae’zel is the only honest one here, but her aggression towards everything scares me.

It almost feels like the tadpole is the least of our problems right now. I’m trying not to think about it too much, but what will I do if one of us turns? Or if I do?

Once I’ve settled things in the Grove, I’ll need to find the Druid Halsin and see where these followers of the Absolute are coming from. The sooner we get this tadpole figured out, the better.

I hope I feel more confident in our decisions sooner rather than later.
