Steve’s mouth creased into a thin line. His brows furrowed in frustration and he gripped the back of a chair. “You could have reached out to T’Challa-“
Tony was shaking his head, tears falling and Steve could swear he could feel his own heart crack. The room felt heavy and it was hard to breathe. “I couldn’t live with the knowledge that you might-“ he sighed, wiping his face and looking down at the linoleum floor. “You left me Steve. You promised me,” his voice cracked. “I would have never been able to live with the knowledge that you could have rejected Peter. If I’d of told you, would you have even come back?”
Steve only stared. He didn’t have the answer to that, because it didn’t happen. He was never even told. Tony scoffed and mumbled curses.
“Are you and him together?”
Now, it was Steve’s turned to look startled. “What?”
“You and Robot Boy?” Tony’s voice dripped venom.
Steve shook his head and let out an incredulous laugh. “No, Tony. Despite what you may think, Buck and I are not together. Never have been, never will be. It’s not like that.”
“Then why him? Why him and not us?” He gestured and before Steve could respond, he heard a little voice pipe up.
“Daddy?”
They both turned to where Peter was poking his head around the corner. He looked frightened and was clutching a baby blue Captain America blanket to his chest. Steve’s heart sank.
“Yes babes? What are you doing up?” Tony bent down and motioned for him to come over and Peter hesitated, looking at Steve.
“Please don’t hurt Daddy,” his big blue eyes filled with tears and he started to stumble towards Tony, clutching onto him when he reached Tony’s outstretched arms.
Tony hugged him close. “No baby, Steve-“ he looked up at Steve. “Steve’s not going to hurt me.”
“But I heard you! You said he broke you!” Peter was full on crying now, his head buried in Tony’s shoulder. His little body shook.
“Oh God- Peter honey it’s- no. Steve was protecting his friend, that’s all.” Tony started to slowly bounce the poor child, who was seemingly very confused and scared. Tony looked at Steve and he noticed just how broken the smaller man was. He’d went five years without him and he’d done it by still running SI, going on missions, and raising their kid. Steve had a kid. He wasn’t sure he’d get used to that knowledge. “I think you should go now.”
Steve nodded, but before he could put his hand on the front door, he turned to look at Tony once again. “I’m not turning my back on you. Not this time. Not that I now know that he’s in the picture.” He motioned towards Peter.
“Right,” Tony said, his voice sounding tired. “Because I was never just enough to make you stay.” And with that, he’d turned on his heels and walked back towards Peter’s room. Steve was only met with silence.
***
Maybe I’ll turn this into a fic?? Lmk.
-TJ
"You nearly killed me, Steve," Tony snapped, his voice sharp with old wounds. "You walked away and left me bleeding in the snow with nothing but a broken suit and a broken heart. I wasn't about to track you down with a sonogram and beg you to come back."

Irondad fic ideas #130
You know that trope where SI employees call Peter "Stark Jr."?
Fic where Tony learns about this and loves it. One night, at one of their weekly Ironfam dinners, he gleefully brags about it in front of May
In retaliation, May says to Tony, "Okay, Parker Sr."
No angst miscommunications, just hilarity. Everyone knows this is about the honor of being included in each other's families

My Hero
Steve Rogers x Reader
Tumblr media
Masterlist - Join My Taglist!
Fandom: Marvel
Summary: Steve's next door neighbor needs a hand moving in a bunch of science equipment, so he offers to help. But he's in for a surprise when he realizes that the neighbor in question has absolutely no idea who he is.
Word Count: 2,456
Category: Fluff
Putting work into an AI program without permission is illegal. You do not have my permission. Do not do it.
"Uh, excuse me? Do you need help with that?"
My arms were full carrying test tubes and other scientific equipment, so I couldn't see who'd spoken. I'd just bought a new apartment in Washington DC, and when it was time to move all my furniture in I drafted a bunch of strong friends to help me. All my delicate, expensive machines and glass test tubes, on the other hand, I didn't trust anyone else to move, so I'd decided to do it all by myself.
That was proving to be more of a challenge than I'd initially anticipated.
I managed to carry my last load to the elevator of my building without help, but with my hands this full I had no way to push the 'up' button.
"Uh..." I said, pausing to consider just for a second before admitting defeat. I sighed. "Yeah, if you wouldn't mind just pushing the up button for me. And then... maybe my floor number after that."
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw whoever'd offered their help move around me to push the button on the elevator. I had my stuff piled up so high that I couldn't see them, but after they'd pushed the button, they hovered nervously next to me.
"Are... are you sure you don't want a hand with the rest of that?"
"Nope, I'm good," I said, raising my voice just a little to make sure I was heard over the stack in my arms. "Thanks, though."
"Sure thing."
The elevator dinged, and I headed in, trusting the person who I assumed was a neighbor in the building to stay out of my way. I caught a glimpse of him as I walked into the elevator, since he'd stepped forward to make sure the door didn't close on me. I shot him a smile, although I doubt he'd actually been able to see it.
"Which floor?"
"Three, please."
"Hey, that's mine too."
I smiled again. "Well then, it's nice to meet you neighbor. Unless we've already met before. Sorry, I can't see a whole lot around this stuff in my arms."
The guy chuckled. "No, I don't think we've met before. But it's nice to meet you, too."
The elevator dinged again as we reached our floor and the doors slid open. I stepped out first, my new friend following behind me.
"Is there anything else I can do to help...?" he asked, and I could feel him hovering around me. I paused, weighing my options. I stopped in the hallway and made a point of leaning around the stack in my arms to look at the man who'd been helping me. He was tall, blond, and clearly very strong. He looked nice enough, but that obviously didn't mean much. Still, he'd been very helpful and respectful so far, and he hadn't tried to push his "help" on me by taking anything out of my arms, either. Besides, if I hadn't been able to hit an elevator buton, a doorknob was definitely going to defeat me.
"Well... if you wouldn't mind getting my apartment door for me? It's 3C, just down on the left. It's unlocked."
"Sure thing. I'm 3F, right across from you."
"Wow. I can't believe I've never run into you before."
"Yeah, well... part of my job is keeping weird hours."
I frowned as we reached my door. I was able to walk through, no problem, thanks to my neighbor's help, and I turned all my focus to the stack in my arms as I set it gently, carefully down on the counter. I sighed once it was officially safe and sound, then turned back to my neighbor.
"What's your job?"
He frowned, but it did absolutely nothing to diminish just how incredibly handsome he was. Especially now that I wasn't distracted, and I could see my neighbor without obstruction, including his gorgeous blue eyes and how strong he looked.
"You're asking... what my job is?" he asked, as if to clarify. I nodded.
"Yeah. Should I not be?"
He blinked at me for another moment, then shook his head quickly.
"No, no, it's great. Uh, I do some work for SHIELD."
"Oh, yeah! You know, I applied there, but I ended up going with a job at Stark Industries instead. Most of their stuff's in New York, but I managed to snag this D.C. post. I'm hoping to move up to New York soon, though."
"You work for Stark Industries?"
"Heck yeah I do! Biochemistry research and development. And I guess you probably can't tell me what you do at SHIELD."
The corner of his mouth pulled up.
"Probably."
"Fair enough. Well, look, I don't usually invite strange men into my apartment, but since I'm not sure I could've made it back up here without your help, do you want something to drink? A lemonade or a coffee or something?"
The guy had a slightly bemused look on his face, but he nodded all the same.
"That'd be great. Thanks."
"Sure thing." I moved towards the kitchen, motioning for him to follow me and shut the door behind him. "By the way, I don't think I ever officially got your name."
He smiled like I'd just given him the best news of his life.
"I'm Steve. It's nice to officially meet you."
****************
Inviting Steve in for a drink turned out to be one of my best decisions since moving to DC. He was an absolute sweetheart, kind and funny, and after our first meeting we started regularly spending time together. Those casual hangouts had gradually turned more date-like, and not long after that first meeting, we'd started officially dating.
Steve had become a constant presence in my life. He'd be there to make me coffee just the way I liked when I got so buried in my at-home experimenting that I lost all concept of self-care, and I'd be there with my special extra-strength version of icy hot that Steve swore by when he came home from long shifts at SHIELD. He'd pretty quickly become an integral part of my life, and one that I didn't want to let go of any time soon.
So, when my phone rang mid-experiment and I saw the caller ID was a bad picture of Steve I'd taken last week, I actually smiled instead of scowling like I would've at an interruption from anyone else.
"Hi," I said, picking up the phone and moving it to rest between my shoulder and ear as I got back to work. "What's up?"
"Hi. I have a friend with me who I'd like you to meet. Would it be alright if we came over? Say... in an hour?"
I paused, eyeballing the bubbling beakers and test tubes still laid out on the table in front of me.
"That depends. Do you care that I'll have some of my work set up and running on the kitchen table? And can you promise your friend won't knock anything over or otherwise ruin what I'm working on?"
I could hear the smile in Steve's voice as he responded.
"No, I don't mind, and yes, I'm sure he won't ruin your experiment."
"Then sure, come on over!"
"Great. We'll see you in an hour."
"See you then!"
I paused long enough to put the phone back on the table, then went right back to my work. I got so absorbed in it, the next hour absolutely flew by. I'd just managed to get things to a stable point, where I could leave it alone until tonight or tomorrow with no problems, when a knock came at the door.
"One second!" I called, standing and grabbing my phone before doing a quick scan of my apartment to make sure I hadn't left out anything embarrassing. Thankfully, it was clean enough. I went to do the door and opened it with a smile on my face, expecting to see Steve with a friend.
Steve was there, as expected. But behind him, standing just over his shoulder with a friendly smile on his face, was Dr. Bruce Banner.
"Oh my god," I gasped, my hands flying to my mouth. Steve and Dr. Banner both looked surprised, but I couldn't even begin to process that. After a moment's stunned silence, I managed to drag my eyes from Dr. Banner himself back to my boyfriend. "Steve... is this... is this the friend you were talking about?"
"I- yeah. Yeah, this is Bruce."
I let out a squeal that I was not proud of. I quickly cleared my throat, trying to cover it, then stepped back and opened my door wider for the both of them.
"Sorry, sorry. Please, come in. It's just... Steve, why didn't you tell me you were friends with the Dr. Bruce Banner?"
Steve looked absolutely shocked. "You... recognize him?"
"What? Of course I do! Dr. Banner's the entire reason I decided to take the job with Stark Industries, instead of with SHIELD!" I took a deep breath, then shook my head and turned to Dr. Banner. "I'm sorry. I'm being incredibly rude. It's an absolute honor to meet you, seriously. Your biochemical PhD thesis is... at least half the reason I decided to go into the field in the first place."
Dr. Banner looked a bit stunned, but he had a faint smile on his face, which grew as I spoke to him. He held out his hand for a shake, which I happily accepted.
"I'm... happy it had such a positive impact. It's nice to meet you too. And please, call me Bruce."
I nodded, not trusting myself to speak in response to that. Steve was still looking at me like I was an extra-difficult rubik's cube, and I silently raised my eyebrows at him in question. Before he could answer, Bruce aparently caught sight of my setup on the table.
"Wow. Is this yours?"
"Yeah!" I said, turning excitedly to watch as he moved to look over my experiment. "I've been spending my freetime outside of SI working on it."
"It's impressive!"
I swear I almost blacked out.
I was about to head over to the table to keep engaging with Bruce about my experiments, but before I could, Steve caught my arm. I turned around to face him again with raised eyebrows.
"Hey. Sorry, I didn't mean to totally cold shoulder you. It's just... this is like a dream right now."
"I can't believe you know who he is," he said, sounding a little strange, although I couldn't put my finger on why. I frowned.
"What do you mean?"
"...Do you really not know who I am?"
Steve seemed seriously suspicious of something, and I was starting to think he'd accidentally sniffed one of Bruce's experiments in a SHIELD lab that he shouldn't have.
"Steve, what are you talking about? Of course I know who you are. You're my boyfriend, an absolute sweetheart, and one of the only people I've ever met who got to watch Star Wars without already knowing about the 'I am your father' reveal. Why would you think I don't know you? Did you get exposed to a biohazard? Let me get my kit-"
I started to head off towards the bedroom, but he pulled me back. He looked calmer now, more himself, but deadly serious as he spoke.
"I'm Captain America. Steve Rogers, Captain America. That's how I know Bruce. I was going to find a better time to tell you, but... I didn't expect you to know who Bruce was, either. Feels like I should probably address it now."
I just stared blankly at him for a few moments, trying to decide if he was serious. Steve looked braced for whatever my reaction might be, shock or disbelief or anger or whatever else, but I just pulled out my phone. A quick internet search confirmed that, yes, Steve Rogers my boyfriend was the same Steve Rogers from the 1940s, also known as Captain America. I stared at the screen for another few moments, my mind updating with this new information, then I looked back at Steve.
"...Why didn't you tell me earlier?"
He sighed. "I should've. I'm sorry. It was just... nice. To have somebody look at me for once and see me, not the shield or the legend or whatever. It was selfish, and I should've fixed the mistake a long time ago."
I thought about it for another moment, then finally, I shrugged.
"It's okay."
"...Really? Just like that?"
"Yeah. Honestly, Steve, it doesn't really change anything for me, other than now I know why you like my version of icy hot better than anything else out there when it's literally too strong for anyone else to stand. But... thank you for telling me."
Steve stared at me for a second in disbelief, then grinned.
"You're serious?"
"Yeah. Now, with all the love in the world, let's hug it out later. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to get feedback on my experiment from Bruce Banner himself."
Steve just laughed as I turned around to join Bruce at the dining table. He was perfect, as usual, as I talked to Bruce for over an hour about the project I'd been working on. Thankfully, this was one occasion when "never meet your heroes" didn't prove to be true. Bruce was kind and wonderful and helpful at every turn, and after a while, we moved on from science to chat about other things, looping Steve back into our conversation. Neither of them could believe I'd recognized Bruce and not Captain America, but they both seemed pleasantly surprised by it.
Bruce ended up staying for dinner, and by the end of the night, he actually felt like a friend instead of the larger-than-life scientist who'd been my inspiration for so long. Steve and I stood in the doorway of my apartment waving as he headed out for the night, then stepped back inside with matching smiles on our faces.
"That was one of the best days of my life," I said. Steve just laughed.
"I'm glad I could help facilitate it. And I think Bruce had a great time, too. You're... sure you don't care about the Captain America thing?"
I grinned. "I'm sure. Sorry, Cap, but I've never really cared about the jock superheroes."
Steve laughed again, pulling me into his side as he did.
"Honestly, I'm glad to hear it. You wanna put on a movie?"
"Sounds like a perfect end to the day to me. You pick one out, I'll get us some drinks and popcorn."
Steve smiled, then pulled me in for a quick kiss before haeding towards the tv in the living room. I headed towards the kitchen, a ridiculous smile on my face. I'd met my idol today, but the wonderful man in the living room was what really made things perfect. No matter who or what else he might be to the world, he'd always be my Steve. He never needed to be anything else.

Parkers, Pots & Periods
Summary: Reader is Peter’s sister and is going on a field trip to stark industries, the catch? She’s on her period and has POTS… things go badly and Wanda and Nat step in to take care of you.
Words: 2324
TW: Periods, Pain, nausea (no puking), POTS, Cramps, Bullying, fainting, name calling, Flash (that’s its own warning), Flashes “nicknames” for peter, field trip trope.
A/n Hi guys I’m alive! Sorry for disappearing (kinda). My life is chaos incarnate. I accidently got stabbed in the thigh yesterday.  But I stuck an avengers Band-Aid on it and I was fine :D
Somehow the universe decided to screw your over three times today. The first, you had POTS, whilst not a new condition it did make the next two things worse. Second you had a trip to stark towers which meant a lot of standing on a tour and being around your class and knowing the avengers would be lurking nearby. And third, the real icing on the cake … you were on your period as if you had blood to lose as someone with POTS and a low blood volume to start with.
So that was how you were doing today as you arrived at school. Sure, you had graduated about three years ago but there had been talks that someone had found out Peter’s identity and was planning something, which was how you ended up undercover to be a glorified bodyguard for peter… well a glorified babysitter with homework.  You had been chosen by the team as you were the second youngest next to Peter and as a lesser-known member of the team who was young, you could pass as a high school student without raising suspicions. ‘Yay me.’ You thought sarcastically. Leaving high school was amazing and having to go back to babysit your little brother… not so much.
You skipped training this morning as you were already feeling quite awful due to your period and your POTS which was always made worse when it was shark week.
As you arrived at school with Peter, happy dropped you both at the block around the corner and you shouldered your old school backpack and sighed.
“Let’s get this over with.” You grumbled and peter nodded. Neither of you feeling particularly excited to go on a trip through your own house with classmates who hated you.
Peter was just as unhappy; flash had been giving him shit all week for his internship and wanted desperately to prove the Parker boy a liar today. When you had found out about the bullying you almost intervened before Peter had a talk with you. He reminded you of what uncle ben had said to you both before he died, and your eyes glossed over as you made the decision to respect his wishes and promise to your late uncle.
As your shoes slapped the pavement with exaggerated steps and dragging movements, a grin itched your face when Ned began waving to you from across the quad. MJ looked up and gave a single half handed wave cross salute before going back to her sketchbook, her legs kicked up on the picnic table.
You liked MJ and Ned. They had welcomed you to their group and they knew that you had already graduated but agreed to stay quiet if it meant keeping peter safe. They both knew you and your brothers’ real identities. As the second spider that protected the city aside from your brother and Natasha you had decided to keep your identity quiet until Peter graduated, knowing he would have just as many issues with the press if you were unmasked before he graduated compared to him being unmasked.
You threw your backpack down and threw your head into your arms, letting out an exaggerated groan.
“You feelin’ alright bonehead?” MJ said looking up from her sketch.
You simply grunted before turning your head, still resting on your arms to look at her through a furrowed brow.
“Shark week.” Was all you said, and MJ nodded before turning to her bag and digging around before fishing out a chocolate bar she threw at your head. Your spider sense kicked in and your hand flew up and caught it.
“Thanks MJ.” You grunted.
“Anytime Parker.” She said going back to her sketchbook. You leaned over to glance at the page and snorted. MJ simply suppressed a grin and kept working on the detailed drawing of Flash trapped in a display case at stark towers with a placard that read “Bullied Peter Stark, glass tapping encouraged.” With a drawing of Tony leaning on the display case eating a banana with Nat handing out tomatoes to the rest of the team to throw at flash. Leave it to MJ to make this trip better.
You thought maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. But curse your Parker luck because that was the moment flash began to storm over. MJ quickly shut her sketchbook as flash stood over Peter.
“Well, well, well. If it isn’t penis Parker. I wasn’t expecting you to show up today. With your big lie going public today I thought you would be too much of a wuss to show up. Prepare to be publicly humiliated Parker. Today is the day your life is torn to shreds.” He said.
“Like the lie about you having a brain flash ‘cuz I think everyone knows that’s fake.” MJ said flicking a few pencil shavings at him. She glared at him, and he glared back before huffing.
“Whatever idiots. I’ll see you on the bus. Parker don’t forget I would hate for you to miss your public execution.” He spat and headed off to wherever it was Flash lurked between tormenting Peter.
“Petey…” you began.
“No y/n I’m handling it.” He said shutting you down.
“Alright. Alright. I’ll leave it alone.” You said while silently wishing a piano to miraculously fall on flash. You desperately wanted to help but you also wanted to respect Peter’s decision especially as you knew his reason was fuelled by a very personal experience that had changed both of you tremendously.
As the last class before the field trip ended you felt like death warmed over. Your head hurt and your period was only making your POTS worse. As you stood from your chair, you had to hold onto the table as your vision went fuzzy for a second. When your sight cleared Peter shot you a pointed look which you shrugged off and headed for the bus.
If there was one thing you didn’t miss from high school it was field trips, twenty sweaty teenagers in a bus for who knows how long, most likely with no air conditioning which would only contribute to you feeling worse.  None of that was appealing to you in the slightest.
As you all filed onto the bus you groaned when you sat down, putting your head in your hands, and taking deep breaths. The cramps had been getting worse all day and they were toeing the line of unbearable.
MJ sat next to you and kept a close eye on your movements or lack thereof.
As the bus lurched with the traffic you suppressed any of the wounded animal noises that were trying to escape you.
After what seemed like a torturously long bus trip you felt the bus slow to a stop. Looking outside the logo of stark towers was the first thing your eyes fixed on.
As everyone filed off the bus you swayed slightly trying to fight off the dizzy lightheaded mess along with the cramping. Life really wasn’t being kind to you.
With a hand resting around your stomach, you watched Peter sidestep flashes foot and walk inside.
The building was cool when you entered which made you feel a tiny bit better but still largely awful.
As the tour guide passed out the lanyards you and Peter hung around in the back.
“I bet puny Parker won’t even have a lanyard, he’s too poor to be let in.” Flash said nearby and your fist tightened at your side in an attempt to stay there.
When all the passes were handed out Flash was the first to point out you and Peter didn’t have one.
“Hey! The Parker’s are missing their badges. We’ll have to leave them behind. Sorry no poor people allowed.” He said with a big grin and Peter looked like a deer in headlights as everyone turned to face the two of you. You just shrugged.
“Friday?” The tour guide asked. “Has there been a mistake?”
“Ms Parker and Mister Parker do not require badges as they have tier 10 clearance, access is granted to all floors, labs and rooms.” A voice said from the ceiling startling a few people.
“That’s Friday.” The tour guide explained “she’s tony starks AI and she runs the tower.”
“I don’t know how you hacked the system, but you will pay Parker’s.” Flash said sticking a finger in Peter’s face.
“Whatever flash, you’re just mad that you have level 1 clearance and can’t go in the toilets without permission.”  MJ said as flash stormed off after the group.
As the tour progressed you were feeling worse and worse, all this walking was making the cramps worse, and all the standing was aggregating your POTS. Your vision had been spotty for a while now and your legs hurt. Your midsection was cramping something awful, and you saw no end in sight.
As the group was shown to the museum floor you did your best to stay rooted to your body as your head felt like it was floating away.
“Y/n/n you should really go home. If you sneak off upstairs, I’ll cover for you.” Peter said and MJ nodded.
“I know your white girl, but you’re not meant to be that white… ever.” MJ said and you shot her a small glare with did nothing to deter her.
“Can’t I have to stay with Peter.” You said swallowing down the nausea you had begun to feel.
“I can look out for myself.” He said in a soft tone. But you shook your head which was a terrible idea as you swayed, having to lean on the wall the stay upright.
“Right, that’s enough….” Peter begun but your hearing was fading as Peter seemed to keep talking.
As your hearing and vision began to drift away Peter began softly alerting Friday to the situation, as he requested Wanda of Natasha to come and get you.
As he saw a flash of red hair down the hall, his spider sense flared, and he was just in time to catch you as your body finally gave up and went slack.
Natasha seemed to arrive almost at the same time you passed out into Peter’s arms.
The group had moved on and it seemed they were none to wiser to the avenger’s presence.
Peter looked panicked for a second as he held you up.
“I’ve got her Pete.” Natasha said as she picked you up effortlessly into a bridal carry.  “Go catch up with your group Wanda and I will look after her. Don’t worry.”
“Alright. Text me updates.” He said and Natasha nodded dutifully before carrying you to the elevator.
When she arrived back on your floor that you shared with the two redheads, you shifted in her arms, letting out a small whimper.
Natasha walked over to the door to her room, opening it to see Wanda already having everything set up for a movie day.
“Oh my god is she ok? I know Peter said it was bad but … is she out?” Wanda said coming over and fussing.
“She passed out as I got there. She must be feeling terrible.” Nat said as she set you down on the bed gently. Wanda came and sat next to you as Nat changed into some comfy clothes and took to your other side.
Wanda’s hands carding through your hair was the first thing you registered when you came to.
“Nat, I think she’s coming around.” Wanda said softly.
You let out a small, wounded noise as you tucked your knees to your chest in an attempt to stave off the relentless cramps.
“Shhh y/n/n it’s ok. Natty and I have you baby. You’re alright.” Wanda said softly.
You whimpered again and shifted to clutch your midsection.
“Cramps?” Wanda asked knowingly still playing with your hair.
“Mmm.” You said softly.
Before you knew it a hot pack was being slid onto your stomach and your muscles went lax as Wanda pulled you into her lap.
You opened an eye and saw her smiling down at you.
“Hello sweet girl. How are you feeling.” She said gently.
“Bad.” You hummed.
“Chocolate?” Natasha said as she offered you an already unwrapped chocolate bar. Not bothering to use your hands you began eating it while Nat still held it. Making her smile softly in amusement as she fed you the chocolate.
“Oh my god, I left Peter!” You said scrambling to sit up but Wanda kept you pinned.
“It’s alright baby. Fridays watching him and you’re in no condition to be doing anything other than cuddling and watching movies with us. Ok?” Wanda said. She could see the gears turning behind your eyes and gently turned your chin to look at her.
“Okay sweet girl?” She said again.
“Okay.” You said softly.
“Excellent. Now you pick the first movie.” Wanda said as Natasha returned with popcorn despite you not having seen her leave.
As the day went on you began to feel better. Between the salty popcorn Wanda was feeding you and the blue electrolyte drinks that were stocked in Natasha’s mini fridge you began to feel less terrible.
The girls had everything you needed, from a warm heat pack to chocolate to cuddles. You eventually drifted off feeling warm and only slightly in pain. Knowing you were safe with them.

Big big fan of SI employees being intimidated by Tony at first because wtf iron man is my boss but then a couple months into the job they see Tony in the same room as Steve and realize he's just a science nerd with a big dorky crush on Captain America there's nothing to fear he's just like us fr

Mission Report
February 14, 2025
12:40 pm
New York City; Times Square
This is an open roleplay! Please feel free to join in and tag whoever you want! I need more friends :,)
It was a calm day. Valentine’s Day was supposed to be just that. A calm day, a happy day. Reds and pinks, whites and pastels. Pretty flowers, women in dresses, girls with their gal pals. So what was it? Something in the air was just… off. Way off.
Maybe it was the kid in a worn out MIT hoodie, face hidden from view, tactical gear hidden under his clothes. Peter Parker (@multiverse-peterbparker) was the kid.
Maybe it was the sniper sitting on the roof— a girl waiting to strike (@imjustagirlyourhonor). Her hair flowing down her shoulders, the usual emotion in her eyes gone.
Perhaps it was a child (@official-cjbarnes) who was alone in a crowd. Not with a father, not with a mother. Just a child with a metal arm peaking out from under his hood— the child who had a gun peaking out from his pocket.
Or maybe it was the oddity (project-Gaia-Hydra) standing out, baring an animal mask on their face. Standing silent, dead silent, watching passerby’s.
It could’ve been the fact that a shield agent (@agent-of-shield-s) and the security of stark industries (@official-happyhogan) were standing with Eddie Brock (@officialeddiebrock). They were in the shadows, watching the streets— particularly the people mentioned above.
There was a chance it was the man with six arms (@the-hydra-hybrid) standing with a former hydra handler (@doctor-mindweaver) as they waited for the orders to strike and incapacitate those under control.
Maybe it was the two assets (@project-subzero and @captainzenith) standing quietly. One with a shield that belonged to Captain America- the other just standing beside them. Or the one standing just a few feet away (@om3ga-9) and waiting to provide assistance if needed.
It was, of course, most definitely the two handlers hiding from view though. (@doctoradamyan and @nikolaos-th0rn3)
That’s when the chaos broke out. Screaming sounded, gunshots broke out.
Peter was now attacking people, using his webs for… well, bad. Symphony was hitting people from above with her rifle. Callum was attacking people with his father’s gun, not exactly using it but hitting them over the head with it. Meanwhile project GAIA was locked in a battle with Yuki and Captain Zenith had taken off towards the two HYDRA handlers.
Happy was ducked behind a car, trying to get an eye on the sniper while Eddie— venom— was scaling buildings and attacking various other HYDRA operatives. Oliver Winslow was trying to hack into any systems he could to turn them into the good side. Viren and Viktor were scrambling to find the handlers as well, but they were also trying to keep CJ safe while trying to incapacitate him.
Thanatos had just disappeared altogether. He was in the shadows.
// Here’s a few situations to join in on! Enjoy!

I am genuinely obsessed with BAMF Peter Parker
A fic where he nonchalantly fixes some well known scientists equations... Stunning
Peter getting to meet some of the world's most influential and powerful people, but he is calm and earns demands respect... Omg I'm on the floor
Peter at midtown when there's a crisis and he takes charge like he was born to lead... Speechless
Peter when his classmates try to belittle him as an intern at stark tower. But this is his home turf. Nobody messes with the heir to Stark Industries in his own building... Give Me More!
Peter shows up to school in designer clothes or dressed for an official SI event and people are stunned...
And an honorable mention to Peter's peers finding out that he is sensationally strong and built like it too.

Avengers Assemble Tony breaks down when he comes home and sees they’ve wrecked the Tower again, because he puts so much time and effort into their living space and fixing it up every time they wreck it again. Like, I know it’s a gag, but this man has a job and is responsible for their house and they just keep breaking it and I can just picture him arriving after a long day of meetings (maybe he got yelled at for missing a deadline that he missed because he was off fighting a threat, but it never made it to earth, so the board doesn’t believe him due to his rep) and he just takes a look at the state of their living room and breaks down crying.

Hello, I'm looking for a fic? A field trip trope fic? I don't exactly remember what happened to the story, all I know is that instead of Tony, it was Steve doing some sort of q&a w/ the students and flash being flash asked a question regarding Peter's internship and how he's lying about it and Steve was like: "oh he's a liar alright." And Peter was shocked before Steve continued: "A liar, who told Tony that he'll tell him if his bullying problem got worse." Something like that? There are irondad and spiderson elements too but I can't remember the rest of the details. It could be deleted but I've been searching that fic for ages 🥲🥹
sorry it’s been so long. This one is really hard because there are so many field trip fics with a similar scene. Here are some that might be the closest?
Anything For You by pancake_thursday
Peter Parker is going on a trip to Stark Industries. Flash Thompson is a bully. Tony Stark just wants his favorite spider-kid to be happy. --- If Peter was uncertain before, he was certain now. He had to go on this trip. Just yesterday Flash had punched his lights out behind the storage shed. He received looks in the hallway, eye-rolls, and heard whispered conversations he shouldn’t have been able to hear from teachers. The Stark internship wasn’t the problem, it was that no one believed little orphan Peter Parker. Besides Ned and MJ of course. And while everything would never stop, what if he went on the trip and proved it?
Mouthful of sourness and an armful of sweetness by ArtAndTarts
It's time for Midtown high's senior field trip, which has said seniors buzzing with excitement. When their destination is revealed to be The Stark tower, the excitement levels go through the roof for all except for one Peter Parker, who can only hope his family won't embarrass him too much.

Once upon a Monday night after patrol...
Peter (swinging in through the window in the spidey suit, taking his mask off): Mr. Stark! Mr. Stark! Guess what! Guess what! Guess what!
Tony (who is in the middle of fixing Dum-E paused his tinkering at the whoosh, lips twitching to a smirk which he hid by drinking coffee): What, what?
Peter (beaming so wide): I made three friends today! Well four if you count the elusive one who approached me but shied away from the others. I named them Stephy, Stacey, Gwen and Michie!
Tony: Aha, and what are they this time? Birds? Bees? Iguanas?
Peter (still smiling, brings out a phone to show him a photo): They're cats Mr. Stark! And they're so cute, I love them so much! See. One white, one cream, one grey, one black. They're all cat colors!
Tony (shuffles the kid's hair): Hm-hm. Nice going Underoos. Looks like a menagerie.
Peter (suddenly goes shy): Uhm, could we- I mean if it isn't too much, sir, and only if it isn't! Err, could we maybe, if it's alright with you, go to the petting shop for my birthday?
Tony (felt his eyebrows rising automatically, looking at the camera, knowing Friday is already making a list of pet stores he could acquire): You want a pet? Is that your wish?
Peter (looks down): Ahm, no, I just...ahm, I just thought it'd be fun to pet some cats and dogs with you. It'd be a memorable experience, but uhm, you don't have to if you're busy or if...if you'd rather not. No pressure Mr. Stark! I mean, I just thought I'd ask.
Tony (face softening into a smile): Of course. Tell you what, meet me outside your apartment 10AM tom. We'll get breakfast, go to the pet shop and then the other three places I planned to take you to.
Peter (eyes widen): Really? You'd spend the day with me Mr. Stark? But aren't you busy or something?
Tony: Nope. Not at all. All free for my favorite spiderling.
Peter (is unable to hide his excitement and went for a hug): Thanks Mr. Stark!!
Tony (finds himself squeezed by his favorite half arachnid child, not really complaining and patting his kid in return): There, there, Underoos. There, there.
.
.
Later, several people will receive a meeting cancellation and request to reschedule.
President Elis, Nick Fury, Steve Rogers and the entire board of Stark Industries.
And when they reach out to Pepper Potts to ask what the heck, her polite and professional answer would be simple and concise.
"Code S," she would say, and they would all perk up into a knowing smile, understanding and accepting the code for what it is.
Code S. Reserved for one specific boy from Queens who happens to be Friday's, every Stark employee's and every affiliate's and partner's top priority over everything as per the mandate from Tony Stark himself. Everything else will be put next in line if the code is triggered.
There's even a video/threat attachment to the email to discourage anyone who dares disobey or violate the terms and agreement.
Officially, it stands for Code Superior. In front of Tony and Peter, the avengers sometimes call it Code Spider-man, even if Peter has no idea about the mandate and signed agreement that anyone who needs Tony Stark/Iron-Man to work with or for them has to sign. But they all knew it meant something else anyway.
Code S, in Friday's coding and among Tony's closest relations, could only stand for one thing. Code Son. A spot unofficially but exclusively reserved for one clueless Peter Benjamin Parker.

We don’t talk about how smart Ned is enough. My boy hacked into a tony stark made suit in one evening, casually, with nearly no equipment, in a random hotel room while some people without a doubt have had a entire room of setup and still couldn’t get in. In conclusion Ned is smart as hell and we need to talk about it more

The Spiders Sister - Chapter 6
Summary: Reader goes to a stark party to meet some new people.
TW: Drinking, parties (ew), minor blood
Words: 2k
A/n Sorry for the late update my life is chaos.
Looking around at all the people you felt yourself beginning to feel a little insecure. You could pick out most of the people in the room from the TV alone. These weren’t just your average everyday people, these were superhero’s. And despite having powers yourself you still felt like you didn’t belong among legends.
Without realising it you had popped out your fangs, a small habit that displayed your nerves. You did realise it when it nicked your tongue. The coppery taste of blood in your mouth for a second before it healed.
Starting to feel a little overwhelmed Wanda placed a hand on your arm. Her touch was grounding and you were slowly being pulled back out of your own head and back to the party.
“It’s alright if it’s a bit much. It was for my first time as well. Are you ok?” Wanda said quietly to you.
You swallowed and nodded. “I’m alright. Just gimme a sec.”
Steeling your nerves and swallowing down your anxiety you stood a little taller and nodded to Wanda who was silently observing you.
After giving you a moment to adjust Wanda begun shepherding you over to a small group of people. Seemingly taking it upon herself to introduce you to people knowing if it was up to you, you would stay in the corner all night.
Before you had even realised Natasha had left your side she was handing you a drink with a cute little umbrella.
“I figure you liked it a bit fruity.” She said with a wink and your cheeks heated under the glare you shot her as she sipped her vodka martini.
As you arrived in front of the group Wanda seemed to want to introduce you to first, you took a sip of the drink, finding it to be rather good.
Looking around the group Wanda begun introducing you to it was an odd bunch.
“Y/n,” Wanda begun, gesturing to a tall blonde woman in a leather jacket. “This is Carol, or captain Marvel.” Wanda said with a teasing tone as carol rolled her eyes.
“Hi.” You said and Carol smiled warmly at you.
“Nice to meet you Y/n.” Carol said extending a hand which you took. She had a firm handshake and warm but not sweaty hands. The kind but mischievous twinkle in her eyes promised a fun kind of trouble.
“This old man is Nick Fury.” Natasha said clapping a hand on the back of a dark-skinned man with an eyepatch.
“Watch yourself Romanoff.” He said but Nat just smirked. “Nice to meet you kid.” He said extending a hand. After shaking his hand Natasha introduced you to the last person in the group.
“This is Agent Maria Hill.” Nat said elbowing her in the ribs and receiving a heatless glare in response.
“Nice to meet you.” She said giving a welcoming nod to you which you returned.
“So I hear you’re the newest spider in town?” Carol asks smiling at you as she took a swig of her beer.
“Uhhh … yeah.” You said rubbing the back of your neck.
“No need to be so nervous kid, we don’t bite. Unless you want me to.” Carol winked and you smiled back shyly not realising your fangs were out.
“Wow kid. Nice teeth.” Carol said. “Is that a spider thing?” She said looking curious.
“Yeah.” You said putting them away again.
“That’s pretty cool.” Carol said.
“We’re lucky she doesn’t bite.” Wanda said teasingly.
“I dunno,” Nat said rejoining the group with Maria. “I’d let her bite me.” She said with a wink and you choked on the sip you had just taken of your drink.
Coughing as Nat burst out laughing, Wanda pounded your back while Maria was lecturing Natasha in an amused fashion. Carol simply watched with a grin which matched Nats despite being told off.
Fury simply watched with his upper lip twitching as if it wanted to smile but wasn’t allowed which would probably have some level of accuracy to it.
When you regained your composure and your voice, your cheeks were stained with a dark blush.
“So, are you an avenger now kid?” Carol asked.
“I’m not sure.” You said.
“Actually, I’ve been meaning to talk to Stark and Rogers about that one.” Fury said looking at you for a reaction. You simply blinked looking at him and only looking away when you realised, he wasn’t going to elaborate.
“Either way, welcome to our little bunch. If you ever need anything or just to escape the compound of chaos, give me a call.” Carol said and Maria agreed.
“I’ve only ever seen Nat take a liking to something this fast once before and that was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.” Maria said receiving a punch from Nat in the arm replying only with a smirk.
“So, how’d the whole spider thing happen?” Carol asked looking curious.
“I should have said this is y/n Parker.” Wanda said emphasising your last name.
“Like Peter Parker?” Carol asked.
“My little brother.” You clarified with a nod.
“So does being part spider run in the family or did you both do a deal with Satan?” Maria asks and you laughed feeling a bit less anxious now the vibe had changed and there was some alcohol in your blood.
“Peter and I both ended up on the field trip where he got his powers. I was chaperoning and he was … being Peter. Anyways Parker luck and we both got bit by the dumb spider.” You said.
“So you’ve just been keeping a low profile since?” Maria asked.
“Yeah. Something like that. I mean I would take Peter’s old suits for a spin when I could but not too often. Our powers differ a little so I had to play the part and not do some things he couldn’t.” You shrugged sipping your drink again.
“Well it sounds like your well adjusted to it all.” Carol complimented.
You snorted in response. “Adjusted, maybe. Cursed, definitely. What can I say Parker luck is real. I almost got it tattooed once.” You said shrugging.
“Well, it’s been great to see you all again, but I need to take y/n to make the rounds. Learn some new names and see some fresh faces.” Wanda said saying goodbye before dragging you away with her hand clasped tightly around your own.
Natasha lingered with her friends for a little longer while wanda and you were swallowed up into another small group as wanda didn’t want to overwhelm you with too many people at once.
When she came to a stop you were stood in front of a few couches with various familiar faces lounging around talking and laughing.
“Hi honey.” A voice said and you looked over to the blue couch to see Aunt May sat next to Pepper, both holding a glass of white wine.
“Hi Aunt May.” You said feeling a little more comfortable with her around. She always made you feel safe.
“You look amazing sweetheart.” May said.
“I love the dress.” Pepper pitched in and you nodded thanking her.
Pepper patted the seat next to her and you slid into the spot beside her as Natasha appeared from nowhere and handed you a new drink, taking the glass you hadn’t realised was empty.
“Fruity.” Natasha whispered in your ear but this time you swatted her as she disappeared laughing to get herself another drink.
“How many of those have you had?” May asked.
“Not nearly enough to be drunk with my metabolism.” You said rolling your eyes.
“You your brother will drink me out of house and home, and I already feed four enhanced people with the metabolism of fifteen people.” Tony said rolling his eyes.
“Be nice Tony. Plus, Peter can’t even drink yet.” Pepper said swatting his arm.
“Oh right. Yeah, that kids never touching alcohol. I watched him trip over his own feet too many times in the past week to count. I can’t imagine he would be able to even stand if he ever got drunk.” Tony said shaking his head at the idea making you and May laugh.
“Im afraid they both are clumsy.” May said and you groaned scrubbing a hand over your face.
“Really?” Wanda asked her curiosity peaked. “Any good stories?” She asked with a mischievous smirk on her lips.
“Oh, too many to count.” May said laughing and waving a hand to indicate how many.
“Please enlighten us.” Clint said seemingly having appeared from nowhere and plopping himself down on the couch opposite pepper and may. He slung an arm around Tony who promptly shoved him off.
“Personal space birdbrain.” Tony grumbled. “But please, do spill.” He said ignoring pepper protective glare he was receiving.
“Oh, I don’t know…” May said glancing at you as you shook your head pleading with her to drop it. “What about just the flip trip one?” She asked and you swallowed pausing for a second before nodding.
“Fine.” You grumbled as Clint and Tony cheered.
“Whats got feathers and grease monkey so happy?” Nat said sitting down next to Clint.
“Story-time about the Parker’s.” Stark said. “More importantly … embarrassing story time.” He clarified and nat looked at you with a raised brow as you just shook your head and slumped over to bury your face in Wanda’s neck. The alcohol making you slightly more confident and comfortable around them.
“Alright. Well as long as I can recall they have both been clumsy. But there was one time after the spider-bite that their spider sense made it even more interesting. Peter was going into their room and Y/n was heading to the living room. They both must have sensed it because peter tripped over his own feet and before he could land flat on his face, he did a front flip and landed in a crouch with one hand on the ground. Y/n would have been in his way, but she had hopped up and stuck to the ceiling. So, she was hanging on by her fingertips and peter was standing back up as she let go of the roof and fell on top of him.” May said with a chuckle.
Tony’s face was lit up like a kid on Christmas. Pepper was stifling a smile and Nat had snorted into her drink. Wanda was trembling slightly under you as her body shook with suppressed giggles as her hand glided softly through your hair as your face was still buried in her neck hiding.
Clint whistled lowly. “Impressive … yet also not.” He said chuckling to himself.
“ok enough of that.” You whined and May smiled at you softly.
“Alright honey. How about pepper tells us some stories about stark.” May said sharing a mischievous smirk with pepper who immediately grinned at stark who grumbled to himself about betrayal.
As pepper launched into a story about the time the great Tony stark had turned up to a meeting sans pants, May pulled you aside.
“You haven’t told them have you?” She said in a low whisper.
“Told them what?” You mumbled looking at your shoes.
“Come on Y/n. I know its different now but he’s not just your brother. I know it hurts but he’s still your-“
“I know.” You said cutting May off before she could finish and say the word that brought pain to your very soul. “But he’s not May. Not anymore … its different. I had to live without him for five years. It changes you. It changed me.“ you mumbled wishing you had grabbed your drink before this impromptu sidebar.
“They’ll see your file eventually, they will connect the dots. It would be better coming from the two of you if you told them yourselves.” May said taking on a sad almost worried voice.
“I’ll talk to Petey about it.” You said and she rubbed a hand up and down your bicep and offered as small smile.
“Good.” May said before pressing a kiss to your forehead.
As the two of you rejoined the group your eyes had a little less of a glint in them. The pain still raw from things you didn’t want to remember.
The battle against Thanos had been somewhat of a sore subject around the tower and you didn’t want to bring up the avengers failure.
The rest of the party was smooth sailing as things began to die down.
