Wip Wednesday (5/53)

I actually started that wip that’s been stuck in my head for what feels like forever now, so while I wait until the trillium comes back in springtime with my inspiration for the fic here’s this sticky summer fic that only one other person knows the title of because it’s ridiculous 🤠

One man in an orange plaid shirt - halfway unbuttoned, sleeves rolled up - grabs a hold of his belt buckle in one hand and his white Stetson with the other, his head tilted down so Ben can only see his broad grin. His feet move with a practiced ease, well-oiled boots gleaming in the light. The heat of dancing doesn't help the stickiness of the summer night, and the man’s shirt is soaked through in sweat, his white tank top underneath sticking to his skin with it. A bead of sweat tracks from his dark curls down the curve of his neck, and Ben has to turn back to his drink for a moment before he starts truly feeling like a man depraved.

He can’t keep his gaze away for too long, though; the stomp-clap-roll that this man runs through as though it’s second nature has Ben in such a tight vice grip that he could swear his vision is tunnelling.

A man depraved, indeed.

I am so looking forward to writing this fic, it’s gonna be the perfect death of me 💀
