((It seems that I can no longer ignore the anons who have a hate boner for Stolas and have now decided to target me, which is forcing my hand to say something.

Note that I have been blocking and ignoring these anons for my own health and well being, and I have my own reasons for why I follow people I do. I also have had good friends harassed and bullied off this site because people cannot fucking leave Stolas alone and need to stir the pot and drag everyone else into shit despite having told these freaks that they wanted nothing to do with it.

Now said freak anons have appeared on my doorstep and I can no longer ignore this shit.

So first I want to say this: If you have any basic human decency or balls, you will approach me OFF OF ANON to discuss shit. Stop hiding behind a grey face to save your ass; if you cannot own up to the shit you're causing, then don't cause it in the first place.

To back up this point: I will be disabling anon after this post. If you still wish to start shit with me, you will have no choice but to reveal your identity, and I will be sure to report you for this bullshit because it's gone on long enough. I am a grown ass adult with chronic illnesses now and do not have the time to even be humouring this bullshit.

Now to address the anon in question:

First off: You have the balls to threaten me behind an anonymous mask, which is mildly impressive if not completely cowardly. When anon goes off, we will see just how confident and ballsy you are then, hmm?

Secondly: I am not liking to the post you're referring to because the mun in question is tired of this shit, and unlike YOU, I REFUSE to drag them into this more than they already have. Clearly you have an issue with stalking and harassment, two behaviours that I find fucking disgusting and will not tolerate. Hell, by rights I shouldn't be making this post because it's just going to fuel whatever shit you have in your mind and keep things going, but I am done being silent.

Thirdly: Just because I like a post does NOT mean I agree with EVERYTHING in it! Read this over carefully, a few times if you have to! Reading comprehension is a skill that does not come easily and takes time, so I recommend reading everything thoroughly and slowly.

Why I liked the post is because, like the mun who made it, I am tired and do not give a shit about the drama in the community and want it to stop. I do not give a flying fuck about the Stols drama and want to be left alone. That, and that alone is why I liked the post.

That time some guy tried to sue a teenager over lord of the rings rp

This got like really long so it put it under a cut so you guys don't have to have this long ass post on the dash. This story time was sponsored by the good people over at @radioactive-earthshine

Gather around children, I'm about to tell you a story about not the most unhinged person I have ever met through roleplay. So this happened about 10 years ago I like many many unpopular teenagers enjoyed writing and doing rp on this hellsite. 2012 is a wild time because I'm a lil bitch that loved lord of the rings and those new hobbit movies were out making lortr cool again to interact with in fandom. I've been doing roleplay online for a very long time it's just a little hobby I have. So naturally in 2013 I joined this weird hobbit rp group.

I had just come out of another group and was looking for something that was a little different but still kind of related to the whole Tolkien thing. I found a 16+ group, it was hobbit based, not open yet and it was a modern au (it was a whole crime family thing, not really my thing but I decided to give it ago) and so I sent my application in for my character just before the deadline and I found myself in a mixed group of teenagers and adults. Mostly adults though.

So the structure of the group was we did dash rp, and had an out of character group chat in skype where we could touch base and talk about what was going on in the group.

The group was run by three mods. Let's call them Gemma, Kenny and Terry. They were all adults, around 21ish. I think I was the youngest person in the group at 16 going on 17. We rp for a bit and things are fine? There's the usual RP drama but nothing scandalous except for Gemma and Kenny doing really explicit puppy play kink just on the dash in front of everyone. That should have been my first red flag honestly but you know as a child with unsupervised internet access (which was the style at the time) honestly I had seen worse and didn't understand how they found this sexy (I actually still don't really understand it ngl I'm not kink shaming or anything you do you I'll just look away this is a me issue) Then out of nowhere a member let's call her Maria leaves the group and Maria posts a very long post about the group.

This is the link in Maria's post. Looking back on this now ten years later I think this person was Terry one of the admins.

This is red flag number 2 again I'm stupid and 16 so I should have jumped ship but I didn't. The group chat is frankly confused. She ends her time in the group by reblogging "So long and thanks for all the fish"

Now Terry was never really an active mod and he actually dropped off the face of the earth three days after the group opened. I don't know what happened behind closed doors but Kerry and Gemma claimed that Terry just didn't want to be involved in the group anymore. Terry played kind of a very important character one of the leaders of the families that my character was in so it left plotting really up in the air when it came to uhhh what do we even do?? But the Remaining two Admins appointed Kerry cocksucker and long term friend "Cap" admin in Terry's place. After a week or two of complaining that hey our groups leader is AWOL we need this character back, the Admin team were like "haha don't even worry guys we'll open applications for the big cheese and pick one in a week." So the week passes and a new person gets picked to play this big cheese character I can't remember who this person was called but let's call her Lydia. So Lydia, joins the group chat and she's rarely seen online. This is red flag number three.

Another group member let's call her Jenny puts me, her rp buddies and a few other group members that aren't the admin team in to a big group chat on skype. She has become buddy buddy with the admin crew and was put in to their super secret super private group chat on whats app and it turns out... there is no Lydia. Kerry is Lydia because the only people who had applied for The Big Cheese was current group members and he hated ALLL of us to the point where he and his admin team had black listed all of our blogs names on the dash so they didn't have to see us rp their characters "wrong" but they especially hated Mimi who played a very minor character in the whole group. They couldn't stand her or her character and they were talking shit about every single member of the group in this group chat. So everyone is rightfully pissed. Not only was he talking shit about us but he was talking shit about Mimi! And we did not stand for Mimi slander. So we hatched a plan. A big, Fuck you guys and your shitty kink on our dash! plan. It was very simple. We would rp as normal for the next week and then on monday we would post "So long and thanks for all the fish icb you did this to us post and we would reblog Maria's original so long post and we would all leave, take the characters we were playing and just write them separately on tumblr as indie blogs where we would just rp with ourselves.

Honestly Kerry was shook apparently this mass exodus of users traumatized him (as if he didn't traumatize us enough on the dash with his puppy play threads with Gemma) I don't have a screen shot of this again it was ten years ago and Kerry has deleted all but one of the posts he made about the situation on the rp hub but he went off about how he was going to sue us for "stealing" his characters once he figured out that we were just doing indie rps by ourselves. Please keep in mind that these are lord of the rings characters in a very generic crime family AU setting. There's nothing original about them. Any oc that was "stolen" from the original bios honestly at the point of 6 months of rp was so far removed from what was in the original bio I wouldn't claim they were his property anymore.

He tried to revamp the group but honestly i think we took the drive and the energy out of him. They hated Mimi and her character so much that in the shortlived revamp they actually killed off her character in the rp lore, talk about petty.

He send us asks and dms on skype for a little bit threatening to sue us but he stopped when none of us like replied to him.

A year later Maria must have found out what happened and made a post about it. Perhaps Kerry was still ranting and raving about how we stole his rp.

that seems kinda rude to judge people based on their rp style, its supposed to be having fun, not writing a novel. illiterate feels like a mean thing to call someone if you dont like how they rp

[I'm sorry you feel that way, anon. It was never my intention to be rude. However, I'm not really judging anyone based on their roleplay style. In fact, I'm pretty open minded.]

[And yes, it is supposed to be fun. I have fun writing like I'm writing a novel. Other people have fun by adding emojis, images, and other little quirks to their writing. That's something I'm completely okay with!]

[However, what is not fun to me is when I can tell when someone is going to type a one-liner. Something really short. Something that doesn't really add anything to the story/roleplay. Etc. I do not like script style rp for example.]

[It is not fun being the only one who writes and adds something to the roleplay. I see roleplaying as a collaborative project. If I'm the only one pulling the weight, it's not fun. My roleplay buddies and I have to share the work and push the narrative together.]

[If one of us is stuck, communication is key. Don't be afraid to stop and say that you need help! Throwing ideas around with another person helps a lot.]

[Perhaps 'illiterate' is a mean term to some, but over the years in the roleplaying community I haven't found any 'nicer' terms to use. I mean, it's not like I'm name calling here. There's illiterate people and then there's literate people who use semi-literate writing styles. I think I made it pretty clear what the differences are.]

[If you're still learning, that's okay! I just prefer to write with someone more around my skill level. I am not obligated to roleplay with anybody. Who I spend time on is my choice.]

(Open Rp) Alternate story Journey to the west 2: Demon strikes back in "Beauty and the Monkey King"

Long ago in a Distant Land, A land With mountains and barrens where no Birds nor creature was stirring except the sound of the galloping Hooves of the Mighty Kirin who wore a Golden Saddles and armor with Jewels on it.. and The Rider is None other Than Princess Saphira lorraina Fox Of Sakutopia and She is On the Journey to the west to Seek the beautiful Oracle herself. The reason why She heads to west is because It's been 5 Months since the Engagement is Called Off On Prince Daniel Jamerson Rooster after He was Caught cheating on saphira with another woman and being expose right in front of everyone including the Jade emperor himself, not only that She grieves on her dead daughter whom he Killed her beloved daughter in cold blood after she was born and made her passed away by abusing saphira when the daughter is in her womb.. Now Saphira made a Vow to Go to the Oracle to Seek out the husband whom he will be worthy for her hand in marriage.. Then at the 5 finger mountain, She hears someone calling for help.. She looked down and saw a Poor old man who's hair is not even grown on the top of his head.. She asked if he's alright and all, then he told her that he's alright. So she Comes down and asked Him who he is and then he answers that he is named "Sun wukong" known as the monkey king but saphira didn't believe him and neither is Saphira's Pet Marmoset companion Name "Mochi", She and Mochi Thought this man was crazy until when she got out of there..Mochi pointed at the lotus, She is amazed and thought she'll pick the lotus and put it on her beloved daughters urns..when she picked the lotus, it began to burn the lotus as she screams..and everything is on fire..as Mochi shrieks and chitters and began to hide in the kimono, She turns and hears the laughing as she began to ask him if he's alright but suddenly the fireball shoots up from the cave as she looked up as it landed right in front of her to reveal Himself, Lo and behold Sun wukong in the flesh as her eyes widen with shocked and in awe, Then he grabbed her by the Kimono and throws her to the air as she fell, he caught her Right on time and saphira was Suprised and before he said anything, 3 demon hunters appears and try to catch him but they were defeated by Sun wukong himself and then he told her this,

"Since you Free Me Princess, I shall make you my queen as an appreciation." But his moment is interrupted by a Monk Name "Master Tang" known as Golden Cicada.. During the battles, Saphira Saw Buddha putting his one hand down on sun wukong. She close her eyes and then Everything went black Until 2 hours later She awaken and looked around, No monkey king, No master tang, Nothing but a rock barren and shattered Mountains. She could've Swore it was just a dream or so, As the Time went by During her Journey and She began to put her white Cloak along with a celestial Fox mask Hidden her beautiful Face when She enters the Carnival and saw the Familiar face, She realized it was the Same Monk That Fought Sun wukong with his Buddha's palm.. When Master Tang Sees the mystery Fox masked woman he asked to pay to see the Shows.. She nodded and Brings out a Best Chest of Gold and silvers as well and She said, "We Meet Again Master Tang, It's been awhile since we last Encounter." Master Tang was Shocked to see the princess again and seeing Her marmoset companion looked at him and tilted her head..and Then Master Tang said that it was a pleasure to meet a princess in person and he told that it's showtime, he introduce her With Pigsy as Pigsy saw her and began to asked who she is and whats behind the mask, She sees him as a man but behind his disguise he is a Pig, Then He introduce him with Sandy The fish man.. Saphira is amazed by him with his freaky ways, then The Monk began to say "And Finally His excellency the-" Then Saphira cut off, " The Handsome Monkey king Himself, we meet at last.~" She said with a giggles..as people was angered because they thought the travelers are Fakes and all, Master tang Begged the monkey king to Perform as Saphira was right under his branch but then he Sluggishly got off from the branch and he Landed on her and his face on her Big Milky breast as she gasp and her face turns red, She takes a look to see if he's really a monkey king and saw a Golden crown on him.
