How would Y/N’s guards take care of them if they weren’t feeling well?

The two take their job of protecting you very seriously, and while they know they can't really prevent you from ever getting sick, they take nursing you back to full health as their main priority. Sir Moon always tends to take it worse; his attitude sours and his protectiveness kicks into overdrive. No one but him and Sun get to come in or out of your chambers; he pesters and demands watches over Chica in the kitchen, making sure every meal would be easy on your stomach as much as your throat. Soft foods and soups with everything finely minced to require little to no chewing, nothing that could struggle to slide down your little throat. He gathers up all the various types of medicine the annex has, fresh pillows, blankets, towels; anything and everything you could possibly need while you're forced to stay on bed rest. He keeps fresh cool water available for you, ice if you want something extra cold. Moon will wipe away your sweat with gentle care, help swap out your pillow when it's become too heated, your garments as well when they get soaked in sweat and cling too tightly. He refuses to enter sleep mode while you're sick, opting to charge while he watches over incase you need anything at all. Sir Sun also gets put on bed rest, Moon leaves cuddling and warming your body to him. The sunlight guard will always make sure you don't leave the soft prison on your own, carrying you to the restroom as needed, brushing your hair out of your face with tender touches and soft kisses while checking your temperature to see if there are any changes. Sun will taunt and tease with flirty promises, how him and Moon should be the only reason you'd struggle to leave the bed, not some annoying little virus; though his touches never drop past loving care, his kisses light and chaste to not leave you gasping further for air when it's already a struggle.

The two stay in this routine for however long it takes; unbothered and hushing your apologies for them taking care of you. It's never a burden for them to shower you with their love, to take care of something, someone so very important to them; just rest and let them soothe away all the ache.

Finally, the formal event was over and Zelda allowed herself to be whisked away from the tiring night of politics. The rulers of each race and village, like Link, were unhappy with her Zelda's resumption of her traditional throne and the strained, yet polite, negotiations had worn her patience thin.

Though Link had been happy to return to duty as a royal guard and trusted confidant, his relationship with Zelda had become tense as he expressed his agreement with the rulers of Hyrule; the monarchy should be dissolved in favour of a council of representatives.

Walking through the gardens on the way back to her rooms, Zelda could feel his stare on the back of her neck.

"I know you don't agree with my ruling Hyrule, but you don't have to be so surly about it."

"Hm," came his non-committal response.

"I can't abandon the kingdom my father worked so hard to protect, even if he made my life a misery back then. I have to carry on his legacy, otherwise it was all for nothing."

She stopped walking and turned to face him. Link caught up and was standing close to her, the moon illuminated his tired and stern face as clear as day.

"Don't look at me like that, you know I have to rule so we can have peace in Hyrule."

His expression softened and he stepped forward, wrapping his arms around her in a familiar hug. He'd grown a few inches since the calamity, now a fully grown soldier, and she took comfort in these moments when they could be just Link and Zelda, not the Hero and the Princess.

After a moment, she felt him stiffen, as though he had made up his mind about something.

"What's wrong?"

"Abdicate," he said.

"What?"

He raised a gloved hand to her chin, tilting her face towards his. A warm glow dusted his tanned cheeks as he repeated,

"Abdicate. Hyrule has ruled itself for a hundred years, it can take care of itself. Then... maybe..." his voice quivered and failed.

Her ears burning, her eyes flicked unwillingly from his eyes to his mouth. How desperately she wanted to live the life he was boldly offering to her, finally giving voice to the tension that had been building for months.

He was offering her a simple life among the people where they could simply be. No critical decisions, no complex political events more dangerous than a battleground, no treaties to write or prisoners to sentence.

It was impossible.

"Link. You know why I can't..."

She knew it would happen. It hurt just the same.

Disappointment and hurt flashed across his handsome face, before his eyes hardened as he slipped back into his role as the perfect soldier. He dropped his hand and stepped back to a respectable distance.

"Very well, Princess."

"Link I-"

"It's late, your highness. Let me escort you to your rooms."

Evan as a man of few words, he had never been this formal with her, despite her numerous protests. She knew at this moment, she'd lost him.

I went back and tried design more Undertale characters for the Asriel Crownbearer AU. === (Edit: these descriptions were added back in after the first posting)

Sans & Papyrus

The skeleton brothers are merchants in Anura.

They sell hot dogs(not good), spaghetti(not good), and miscellaneous items you can find in a convenience store(don't ask how).

Sans deliberately doesn't join ANY cult in the Lands of the Old Faith while Papyrus is tempted to join Asriel's cult.

For some reason, the Crown cannot mindread Sans and Papyrus. However, Asriel doesn't really need mindread to mindread Papyrus.

Like the original, Papyrus becomes good friends(mutuals at least) with Asriel and admires Undyne.

Muffet

She is a follower of Shamura and a high-ranked enforcer.

After Alphys left and joined Asriel, Muffet hated her and deemed her a traitor.

Monster Kid

They followed Undyne to the cult as she recused them from the Bishops' cultists during a holy quest.

Just like the original, they admired Undyne more than the king(Asriel in this case).

Temmie

Temmies lives in Temmie Village.

Temmies worship Temmie.

Temmie is Temmie.

Temmie is Life.

Temmie please put down the knife.

Saladpants (Burgerpants/Pizzapants)

He works as a waiter at Rakshasa's restaurant.

Everyone at the restaurant kept calling him "Saladpants" as he always served them the restaurant's top-selling dish "Beetroot Salad". (Rakashasa's dishes were shown in Jalala's Journal)

They were a demon by a demonic summoning.

They forgot who and why were summoned

They have been wandering around the lands for quite some time.
